Fantastic experience: i got my septum pierced here, first piercing apart from my lobes when i was 15 and my experience was so good!! George was very chill and seemed he knew exactly what he was doing. he checked in frequently but not too much and explained all the steps. the adrenaline after caused me to go blind which is normal for me which i explained and he was so good at just chatting while my vision came back. very good price and experience i would 110% recommend. oh and did not hurt one bit... like at all!!!!

Fantastic experience: In-between two lockdowns back in 2020, I fell in love with Sarah’s work through Instagram. I got a flash tattooed first, the most beautiful spider I could dream of. Fast forward, it’s the end of 2025 and I can’t mind how many times I’ve been back to Tribe. Every time I’ve got an idea, no matter how random it is, Sarah can always translate it into the most beautiful tattoos EVER! Needless to say, I’d recommend her work anytime! ♥️ On top of that, she’s an incredible person, and I’m genuinely always looking forward to going back to the studio, which feels very home-like!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing (surprisingly un-painful) time at Tribe tattoos! The studio and everyone in it was very welcoming including the fish behind the till. I got my tattoo done by The Amy Raff who is talented and professional. Throughout the design process she was patientand open to my changes however tiny. She checked in with me throughout the tattooing itself and had lots of different sizes to get the placement just right. I am super happy with the results, which are healing nicely and will be back for more

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting tattoo removal with Roz and she’s been amazing and so kind. It’s a long process because it’s quite a dark tattoo and my skin is very sensitive, but she’s so patient with me and gives all the necessary info. I’d recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely time being tattooed here by Niamh yesterday! The studio was welcoming and I had all the set up explained while I waited. Niamh was really professional and spent plenty of time making sure the stencil was the perfect size and placement for where I wanted it before we started. Fantastic experience: Got my nipples pierced here in December, bought the aftercare saline spray and followed the comprehensive instructions emailed to me before + after the appointment. Very professional piercer, totally chill. Was careful with the piercings for a few weeks after, and six months on they're strong and healed, no infections! Would get pierced here again.

Fantastic experience: Here’s the artwork I wanted to be done. True Celtic spirit. Erik ( a Viking) was my artist so I couldn't have it more authentic if I looked worldwide. Most of the artwork has been done so it's just the filling with colours. A big job, from Niahm at reception to Erik, everything was utterly professional and very friendly. I could tell I was in the hands of very experienced individuals.

I have just travelled from Glasgow to Edinburgh to start another Tattoo with Morag as i didnt want to wait till June to start it in the Glasgow shop. I honestly cannot praise Tribe enough for their professional attitude but also their warm welcome. Fantastic experience: A little apprehensive in having chosen a genital piercing, George was excellent at calming my nerves, communicating each step of the process really clearly and encouraging me to control my breathing once the piercing began. Normalising the whole process, I couldn’t have asked for a warmer, more professional piercer. Really disarmed the whole experience and made me really comfortable, thank you George. Negative experience: I'm so sad and devastated that my navel piercing after 6 months of good care, has just been rejected, nearly tearing out of my skin. I had a jewelry change appointment the end of September and if it wasn't randomly cancelled by Tribe, I feel like I would've gotten expert advice and a general look. The bar was always popping out, and I think such a long one caused all this and I have no idea if it was high quality titanium. I had to heal with tea tree all the time because of how many times it acted up. First time was such a bad experience. I'm really sad

Fantastic experience: Had my daith and second lobe piercing done here after a few people recommended it and it did not disappoint! George was brilliant (as were all the other staff that kindly looked after my pooch and made me feel so welcome). I have a needle phobia but he made the whole process easy and made me feel so comfortable that I can’t wait to go back for my next piercing! Fantastic experience: Had an issue/troubleshoot where I could not reinsert jewellery which fell out during the night on a particularly complicated cartilage piercing. Even though the piercing was done at a different studio, everyone at Tribe was understanding, caring, and efficient, and George saw me in extremely short notice to reinsert my jewellery. Incredible customer service, absolutely saved my day! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: It’s tough when trying to choose somewhere to put a design on your body that will be there forever. After quite a bit of research and friend recommendations I chose Tribe for my new tattoo. Very pleased with my choice. Naimh on front desk is approachable, helpful and relaxed. Made the booking process very simple. Erik did the actual tattoo. Great guy and turned out we had similar music taste and a few shared friends so the chat flowed while he got on with his work. The results for my tattoo are brilliant. It’s still swollen (less than 24 hrs since being done) but already I think it looks amazing and exactly what I was wanting from it. I’d highly recommend this place for any tattoo wants you have.

Fantastic experience: Erik did a small, color tattoo for me and he was amazing!!! This was definitely one of the more friendly tattoo shops I’ve been in as a solo female: I was treated respectfully and not like a nuisance which has been a problem for me in the past. Everyone was so nice and when I wanted the tattoo a little smaller it was no problem. Communication was fast via email and through phone! I definitely recommend going here + I’m very pleased with the final product from Erik :)

Negative experience: I got two piercings done in this shop and after both times I had to go to another shop for assistance. I found the piercer quite unfriendly - no warmth, no explanation, absolutely nothing. No options given re the nose ring - my only option was a BCR which was huge and was so uncomfortable. I called after a couple of weeks but they said that there was nothing they could do (would not even offer to remove it) but luckily another shop changed it for me! I was silly enough to go back for a daith piercing. Again, the piercer was quite grumpy, no chat, no warmth - out in about 7 mins (measured), was told that they will email me instructions. They used a BCR again (which I was told not to the best for healing), but then after a couple of weeks the BCR broke (lost one of the ball). While these things happen, I was unable to reach them (I tried multiple times) and again had to visit another shop. It turned out that my daith was badly swollen as the piercing was positioned extremely badly and this time it could not be saved (I followed the emailed after care instructions meticulously). But my main issue was that both times I was treated with such unkind manners. You put a hole through people’s skin - just be a bit nicer, at least ask clients whether they have any questions or would like to go through procedure or something. I found a new piercing shop with a lovely bunch of people, there is a conversation before and after the piercing, discuss options and make themselves available for any issues. I think that’s how it should be done.

Negative experience: absolutely vile man. calls the people who leave bad reviews on no caller Id to harass them to take down the review. so i’m speaking on behalf of my friend so he can’t harass her. He used an 8mm bar for my friends pericing ( which as a ‘qualified professional’ he should know that this isn’t allowed the minimum is 10mm. My friend then had to go another pericing place to get it removed and it turns out it needed a 12mm bar! so i’m puzzled to how this man thought an 8mm bar would fit in a normal ear never mind a swollen one. yet he claims to be qualified. this place is a joke.

Fantastic experience: Nik is an excellent tattoo artist and all round nice dude. So happy with both my tattoos from him and how he really cares about the end result.

Fantastic experience: Had my piercings done here. George is very experienced, he is calm, listens and when 2 of my piercings developed complications (due to a contaminated cleansing solution I later realised) he saw me several times for free to check if they were alright. Absolute star!

Negative experience: Overall the place was really nice. It was clean and the staff were friendly. However, I got a piercing from them in December and had to get it changed a few weeks ago due to the type of jewellery they used. The piercer did not talk me through the jewellery or the process. He used a very bad type of jewellery and the balls on them were way too small to account for swelling. So much so that the piercing ended up going inside the hole and I had to pop it back out.
