Fantastic experience: Recently had my first tattoo, via my daughters' birthday voucher gift. As an older woman who has often wanted to have one, I was still a tad anxious I would be made to feel a bit too old for this. The staff at Okey Dokey were very professional, so friendly and totally lovely. I only recall the names of Sam, on the front desk, what a star! As well as Zen, my very kind, patient and lovely tattooist! But other staff were also great! A big shout out to you all. This was a fab experience and thanks to Zen I now have my very first tattoo. So happy!

Came in with my own design and they were happy to do that and even designed some of their own similar bugs. Team is super friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this place over others in the city.

Fantastic experience: I visited tattoo shop in August '25 and my tattoo was done by Marco. I'm more than satisfied. He completely understood my vision, told me about his ideas about project and was replying pretty rapidly. He also offered a free touch-up when I'll be in Edinburgh again (some of tattoo shops that I know, allow free touch-up only untill the month after doing the tattoo), so that's a great plus! That's my best souvenir from this trip to Scotland. Atmosphere there was great, not only Marco was checking if there's everything okay during session. If I would have to recommend any tattoo shop in Edinburgh, that would be definitely one and only! I'd love to come back in the future:D

Fantastic experience: Diana did my realistic tattoo of a sea thistle. She talked me through what she was going to do at all times and kept asking if that was okay. She asked what colours I wanted it and added her own thoughts as well. A great experience and I could have fallen asleep. Extremely amazed at the final outcome and will definitely be back again. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Alba (Rents Handpoke). The whole process from booking to the finished product was marked by fantastic communication and skill. Her design (based on a picture I sent) was gorgeous and she was super accommodating of any adjustments I asked for. This was my first tattoo and I was pretty nervous but Alba has a super chill and soothing energy that put me right at ease. The tat itself is STUNNING and it only took a few hours for the minimal discomfort to die down almost completely. Thankyou so much- I'll be back before long, without a shadow of a doubt!

They really took the time to listen and guide me without rushing the process. The tattoo came out clean with really sharp, defined lines. You can tell Zen takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. Definitely a 10/10 experience—highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Wow, where do I begin my amazing experience at Okey Dokey Tattoo. I’ll start with Ally & Zuzanna who are the studio managers that helped me book my appointment with Tomy Jack. I then sent over multiple pictures with ideas of what I wanted. and Tomy delivered. Tomy is very professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. He created 3 different sizes for me to pick from which was really helpful. Between the both of us we agreed on the size and placement of them. Moving to the artwork now! Tomy killed it. He went above and beyond with my tattoos. His attention to detail and creativity was unreal. I cannot thank him enough. Moving on to the staff at the location I went to location on Bread Street. Dawid was an absolute Gem, extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend Okey Dokey Tattoo in Edinburgh. Trust me you won’t regret it.

Negative experience: I haven’t gotten a tattoo but I called to book an appointment and I was brushed off. He cut before I was done talking . Proper customer service you should then let the client know when you have available appointments. Not telling you are fully booked and then you cut the call .!
