Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo last weekend, I phoned up the prior day and got the most amazing and embracing conversation, I wanted a walk in style appointment as it’s taken me decades to build up to getting a tattoo. The guys at Bizarre Ink were so brilliant, no pressure, great banter and celebrated my milestone at 46 years old. Anna who did my tattoo is so cool and made the experience fun and memorable, her art work is amazing and I love the result

Fantastic experience: While on a one day visit to Edinburgh my wife and I went in without an appointment and were greeted by a very friendly staff, we discussed what we wanted and some specifics about size and location. After that he spoke with the artist who agreed to take us right then as a walk in. My artist John was super nice, professional, quite amusing, and extremely talented. John has a very gentle hand and did a beautiful fine line tattoo to help commemorate my trip to Ireland and Scotland. If you are in Edinburgh and are looking for a tattoo this is your place, stop by and check them out if nothing else you will meet some really great people...

All the staff are great and go over and above to make sure you get the experience, design and professional tattoo work you are looking for.. Anna is an absolute joy to work with. I was visiting and was thinking of a souvenir I can take with me back to America, and I came across this small Tattoo place in Edinburgh. Me and my wife, who is from Edinburgh originally, walked in and right away we felt welcomed. I decided what better souvenir to take back with me than a tattoo. They did not disappoint, thanks to my main man John who worked on my Celtic cross and sacred heart tattoos. John was so friendly and chatty, he made a 6 hour art work seem like an hour. My wife was so impressed with John's work that she made an appointment for the following day to get a couple of tattoos with John! We met John who was excellent in making sure we got just what we wanted. He was professional and quite knowledgeable. We are very happy with the tattoos John did. Fantastic experience: My bestie and I wanted matching tats as a souvenir from our time in Scotland. We met John at Bizarre Ink Tattoos and he was patient while we fined tuned our choice. He is a remarkable artist and his portfolio is amazing!! Our design was a simple Celtic knot yet the varied styles he has is amazing- from realistic animals (his favorite) to American ( Ed Hardy ish). His partner Spacy does faces and photo like art. Sooo real!!! The shop closes around 6ish so get there early.

Spacey was so attentive and communicative-- he has a lot of passion for what he does and even gently advised me in placement and design of the tattoo piece I chose from their design book. If youre in town, this tattoo shop produces quality work and a clean safe environment, and (the cherry on top!) fantastic customer service! I felt that I was not just a customer, but an old friend :) Check them out!

I simply walked in told them my idea and set up an appointment. The whole process was very simple and straightforward. They were even able to accommodate me the same day but I had plans already so opted for the appointment. My tattoo artist was Ana Hepburn and she did an amazing job capturing what I wanted. Also she was very fast and efficient probably one of the best, for sure. This spot has walk in availability so we took a chance and went in to try our luck. I got mine almost right away. Ana Hepburn did my little highland coo and it’s adorable. Perfect little pre drawn buddy to add to my arm of fun tattoos. It’s healing great already. Everyone in the shop was super nice and fun to talk to while we waited for someone else’s tattoo to finish. Fantastic experience: A good friend and I spontaneously thought about getting a commemorative tattoo. So on Friday after we arrived we went straight to the studio and Ana gave us a friendly welcome. We got an appointment 2 hours later and Ana did a fantastic job. Ana was super friendly, explained everything and followed all the hygiene rules. The tattoos just need to heal well (which is to be expected). We can only recommend her and wish her and the studio nothing but the best. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Me and my friend decided to get spontaneous matching tattoos on out trip to Edinburgh I had called up Bizarre Ink and they told me to come down and we will discuss the design / sizing / quote and what time would be available We arrived around 1.30 pm and discussed the tattoo and by 2 pm we were being tattooed!! They were super clear about everything , the tattoo artist that tattooed us name was Ana and I highly recommend her She was really sweet , she had drawn up 4 designs and sizes for us to choose from and she was super supportive of the tattoo My friend went first and I went second , she was super considerate about me being comfortable and asking me if I am okay every few minutes Since I have already gotten a few tattoos , I was okay but I feel that if you went to Ana for your first tattoo she would be really helpful and kind All the needles she used were brand new out the packet , the wipes were clean and the disinfectant and cleanser she used were all clean and well taken care of She put a clear bandage over my tattoo at the end and gave me instructions about the aftercare following up with a sheet of instructions as well just in case I forget She gave me a spare clear bandage and told me to change it at the 5 day mark She also gave me her business card and a little sweet which I thought was a really nice touch to the service as it made it that bit personal She then Dm’d me on Instagram and thanked me for allowing her to tattoo me Highly highly recommended her

I have a travel tattoo I’ve been adding to and Ana was open to adding her own touch to my piece based off my random themes. Fantastic experience: We had a group of five getting a heraldic knot design while travelling and had an excellent experience. Two of us were receiving our first tattoos and John had excellent candor, keeping us calm as he walked us through the process. Fantastic experience: Just had my 3rd tattoo here and will be back.. i think I've found my "forever" tattoo home. The artists are honest, and seem to have a very wide range of creative styles.

Fantastic experience: 64 years old and getting my first tattoo, to say I was nervous was an understatement. John was fantastic talked me through every single step of the procedure.
