As my first big piece I wanted to feel the least amount of anxiousness possible and whilst I’m in the process of getting myself booked in for it, I know I’m going to be in good hands!

Fantastic experience: (22/10/24) Original Review: Booking was simple. I filled in the online form with what I was looking for, and was contacted through WhatsApp not long after. They suggested an artist, gave me a quote, and once I agreed, shared a link to confirm an official booking date. Really smooth process. I was matched with Keele and couldn’t have asked for better. She was so friendly and took her time with me, especially when it came to placement—really listened and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. I absolutely love the tattoo and already plan to book in again. Aftercare is amazing. Keele explained everything in person, then the next day I received an email with full written instructions. I then got a reminder email to check the aftercare info, and another letting me know when to remove the second skin (Derm). Best experience I have ever had. (18/07/25) Update: As usual, Keele was amazing with this being my 6th tattoo with her at Apex Ink. She's friendly, talented and always happy to work through design placement with me. The studio is bright and clean, all the staff are great and I always have a lovely experience there.

Fantastic experience: Got my smiley piercing done here and I’m literally in love with it. The whole thing was super quick and not nearly as scary as I thought it’d be. The piercer was really chill and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Healing’s been easy so far and it looks sooo good when I smile 100% recommend if you’ve been thinking about it.

The tattoo place is clean and the vibe was nice and felt in safe hands. Returned for my tattoo, I liked that I was given different options for my tattoo such as size. The room in which I was tattooed was very comfortable as well. I think I have found my tattoo place now!

Fantastic experience: It was my second time visiting Apex Ink I didn’t think they could top my first visit, but they just keep on getting better. I had a session with @keelztattoos She was absolutely amazing & very gentle This was the longest session I had as it was 6 1/2 hours But throughout she made me Comfortable, even when I was in pain The energy in the whole shop and the staff is just unmatched. Fantastic experience: From start to finish my experience was amazing, both artists helped my vision come true. I also have a latex allergy to which I advised I would bring gloves to avoid a reaction to which they advised they would provide as part of the service. The aftercare was extremely thorough and I had no issues unlike my last tattoo at another shop. Definitely recommend and will be back

Positive experience: Lovely staff and extremely welcoming studio. I was extremely nervous but the staff managed to make me feel better. The tattoo design is just perfect and I love seeing it on my skin! It wasn’t as painful as I expect lol. Only downside was the time it took Booked a 6h session (10:30am-4:30pm) but we didnt start until 1pm so I didn’t leave until 8pm and that costed me extra because of child care.. But overall a good experience and I love my tattoo

Fantastic experience: I had a forearm tattoo done at a flash event held at Nexus Café earlier on in the month, they were kind, helpful and extremely professional. After deciding my tattoo design (Very first tattoo) they prepared the workstation in a clean manner, and began to work, they made sure i had water, and kept asking if i needed a break as it was my first tattoo, i was fine and they were happy to carry on. All was done in 45 minutes and i left very excited. They sat me down afterwards and recommended some products to help with the healing process, and even invited me back to fill in the lettering when it has healed. Overall fantastic experience, will definitely be coming back!

Negative experience: Would never recommend this joke of a place to anyone I messaged them with a design I wanted I asked numerous times if the picture was ok and if it was the type of style they do and they said everything was all good I went for my first appointment with cj to which he kept saying what even is that picture and was just rude and made me look for a good hour for a new design which I was not happy about bearing in mind it is £450 an appointment to which you expect top quality then on my next appointment to finsh my sleeve of he did the same again saying he can’t do it and everything I showed him he just kept saying what even is that and while I was in the shop all they did was talk bad about other people designs and how they couldn’t be botherd to do them so not only did I not get my tattoo or what I wanted but I also lost my deposit on my second appointment as he just didn’t want to do anything at all this place is an absolute joke wouldn’t even call them artist one bit.Also my girlfriend had a tattoo booked around the same time as mine with somebody else at apex ink and again she said about how cj was just talking bad about what his customer wanted and laughing behind there back stay well away from this joke of a place!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing tattoo from Vagas, and I would recommend her to everyone! Such a talent, and makes it look effortless. She made up a design after giving some ideas, and made it her own in her unique style. Vagas was happy to amend a slight thing, but also added things I never would have thought of, which made the tattoo even better. I will be going back to her to fill in the other side of my leg, and am excited to see what she will come up with next. She is a master at so many styles, and the quality is clear for everyone to see.
