Tommy and his wife are amazing guiding you through the process making suggestions but keeping you in controll of your tattoo. Positive experience: My friend and I visited Times Square Tattoo and had a really good experience. The line work was very well done and the shop was clean. It was both of our first experience getting tattoos and they made us feel comfortable! A note for those looking to get work done on certain areas of the body, they won’t work on certain areas for religious reasons. It is a Catholic-influenced shop.

Negative experience: i went to this shop as a walk in and he turned me away on my birthday for wanting an aquarius sign tattoo.. he said he’s not judging but horoscopes are like a cult and he’s catholic so if you want a christian tattoo you will most likely be turned away also.

They were able to take us as walk ins and took their time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I got the most beautiful butterfly to honor the loss of our son and my husband got our wedding date in roman numerals. Super clean, knowledgeable and talented. Not only was him and his wife a true blessing and so kind but they really are true angels! Fantastic experience: Stopped in past today for some work. Great piece done in good time with actual tattoo hardware. The shop is welcoming, clean, and well looked after. Tommy keeps a good shop and is very dedicated to his craft. He won't do tattoos that are outwith his belief system.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my boyfriend decided we wanted a permanent reminder of our first trip to New York and chose to visit Tommy. From the minute we stepped into the studio we were at ease. Tommy gave us some books of designs to look through and talked us through the pricing. I picked two designs together and this was no problem. Tommy also talked us through the after care. My boyfriend has already done a review but I wanted to write one also about what the tattoos are like afterwards. It has been a week since we visited and our tattoos have healed really well following Tommy’s advice, I would go as far to say that out of all the tattoos I’ve had this one has healed the best. If you’re wanting a lasting souvenir of your trip to New York then I couldn’t recommend Tommy enough. The studio is pristinely clean and comfortable and Tommy is very professional and knowledgable about all things tattoos. Thanks again Tommy! Hopefully we will see you again one day for another lasting memory.

Tommy not only confirmed this – he lives by this motto! He is a living part of what makes this city so unique and great. Negative experience: Edit: that is not what happened at all your a liar you never even brought up size you kept going on and on and on about how it's going to cost more than $250.00 because it was a forgery and it was going to take you forever because you had to do each line perfectly you never even asked me how big that I wanted so we could start figuring out prices you are a liar Went to New York for a vacation we found this tattoo place on Instagram the work looked great we got there and the guy that was talking to us was rude right off the Jump my boyfriend wanted a small tattoo covered up willing to pay $250 he said that it was going to be way more than that I wanted the words "love you a whole lot nanna xxoo xxoo" from somthing my late grandmother wrote on very small nothing crazy he started going on a tangent about how it's going to take him a long time because it is forgery and that's why I was going to be more expensive than my boyfriend's 250.00 tattoo even though his Shopinimum is $80. And once I told him never mind to just continue to do my boyfriend's tattoo he now didn't want to provide a service because he could deal with being told no for his service. I returned home and got the same tattoo for only $120 and it took only 30 mins its perfect and looks just like the hand writing. This man at this shop is a lier and scam artist.

Fantastic experience: called ahead to get my first tattoo, spoke with a wonderful lady on the phone that told me i could walk in, i asked for a fairly large piece to be done, came in, showed them what i wanted, got a quote, was told to come back in a little so tommy could get the design together, was back within 2 hours to get it done, and did roughly a 2 and a half hour session, tattoo came out wonderfully, pops out of the skin, out of this world color, tommy is an incredible artist with a lot of experience that knows what hes doing, if i was in new york i wouldnt go anywhere else

Fantastic experience: A late review* In early Jan I was in NY for 3 days for a quick stop at the big city. The rest of my family wanted to do more touristy shi which I didn’t want to so I was left alone in the big apple.. may as well add to my travel tattoo collection. After a quick search I found Toms studio on google maps as my closest and took my chances as a lone female Tom was so welcoming and I felt super comfortable my entire tattoo ❤️ I love my tattoo till this day and it holds fond memories of one of the coolest places in the world and one of the coolest people in the coolest place in the world. As a sweet gesture he gave me (and my partner who was back home) a charm with a religious figure (I’m not religious btw) and I still have that charm on my car keys where ever I go. It takes one person to show kindness and respect for them to be remembered for a life time… especially if their art is on your body for life
