Fantastic experience: I decided to come to a flash event. I waited about an hour, since it wasn't peak time. Sergio was my tattoo artist. He was very professional and positive. His work as an artist is simply wow (you can see his art in the studio). Everything was absolutely awesome!! He also fixed my old small tatttooo which was very kind of him!!!Great conversations, aftercare tips, etc. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Went on Friday the 13th. Didn’t know there was a flash sale event. Got lucky! Summer was friendly, patient, and detail oriented. Made the poor girl line up two stencils a hundred times, but she nailed it. Would definitely come back if ever decide to get another tattoo!

Fantastic experience: Danny made my experience very comfortable. He was professional and fast that I didn't feel a thing. Once he said done I was shocked....It's been 2wks and my healing process is amazing after a week I was eating solid foods but I'm still using mouthwash or warm salt water until it's completely healed. Negative experience: I like my tattoo but it was super over priced and the service alone was kinda terrible it was my first tat and yeah just save your money going somewhere uptown better

Only pain was when he let go apparently ‍♀️ Stop by and show him your goodies. Also the lady who was at the reception was swift with my request and the time to wait was at a minimum 30 min. Fantastic experience: Daniel did an absolutely amazing job on this piece. The linework is incredibly crisp and precise, and the symmetry is perfect—especially for such a delicate, detailed design. The placement is flawless and flows beautifully with my body. He was professional, patient, and made the entire experience comfortable from start to finish. You can tell he really cares about his work and pays attention to every detail. I couldn’t be happier with how this tattoo turned out and I’ll 100% be coming back to Daniel for future pieces. Negative experience: If I had chance I’d give 0 stars to this place, I should have red reviews before getting scammed in this place called Red Ink tattoo, I got my tattoo 2-3 months ago by some tattoo artist which I don’t remember the name but he boasted about his talent of tattoo master and I believed him but he did very unprofessional tattoo,with improper lines and very bad painting and my tattoo started fading away after a few weeks I got it,and they charge me 160 dollars for that,the owner of place is obsessed with money and don’t care about clients , I went there asking for refund of money they refused and said they can go touch up,I left my numbers there but no one called me , I don’t recommend this place to anyone,very bad experience ,they keep you waiting and then make you sit in smelly basement and tattoo fades away very fast

Negative experience: Unfortunately would give even less if it was possible. Don’t know about the quality of the tattoos because I didn’t even got to do that. Made an appointment, came on time and I was sent do a waiting room for “15 minutes”. After 30 minutes I asked when I can be seen and I was told that it’s going to take between 20-40 minutes. I said that I didn’t except to wait that long and would have to comeback another time. The owner said he’ll give me back my $60 deposit which after a week wasn’t sent back. Sent an email - no reply. After another week went there and was told that only the owner can take care and I should come later when he’s there. I asked when it’s going to be but it was unclear when exactly he’s going to be there, I left my details hoping hot get a phone call from him. After about 2 hours I was around the place, the owner was there (the note with my details just in front of him on the table) and after I explained again and told him he said he’ll refund me, he said he’ll take care later that day and he’s in a zoom call at the moment (in the reception area, not available to communicate much with customers). I asked while he was on the zoom how I can be sure that I will not have to comeback another again, he said something like “we don’t need your $60”. Got my money back after a few hours. They’re not rude (nor do I, I hope) - just need to give much better customer experience. By the way, during these 2 weeks got a great tattoo at another place, on the spot and the price I paid way $100 cheaper than their estimate.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a NYE tattoo. Everything went swimmingly with check in, very very fair price and was even able to get in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I’ve got many, many tattoos, and I can say, by far, Daniel did the best tattoo I’ve ever had. Very clean, listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. He also was the gentlest tattoo artist I’ve ever had. Yeah, the shading hurt, but the lining of it I barely felt. Would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a tattoo. Also, the studio is very LGBTQIA friendly which, doesn’t really affect the tattoo process, but it made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My experience with getting a tattoo by Saliana was amazing! I loved her vibe and she respected my choices on how I wanted my tattoo. She specializes in fine line tattoo which made it perfect. Definitely check her out!

Negative experience: I got my navel piercing done here. The overall experience was okay, but there were too many red flags. I don’t know if the piercer was a beginner, but she took a while to do the piercing, and it hurt more than it should’ve. It took her like two minutes just to screw the jewelry on, and it seemed like she was struggling a bit. The piercing was $60, which was fine, but in less than two weeks both the top and bottom screws fell off. The first time I was able to screw it back on myself, but the second time (the top) completely fell off and it was clear it wasn’t screwed on properly from the start. When I called, they said I’d have to pay for the jewelry again which I didn’t mind. But when I got there they just gave me the jewelry and I asked like if they could screw it back they said it would be an additional $25 charge even though the piercing was still fresh and it clearly wasn’t my fault. Honestly, the service was disappointing. If you’re running a business, you should take accountability instead of trying to make a buck off every inconvenience.

Positive experience: The beginning of our experience was a little disheartening. We had the first appointments of the day and both artists were late. We didn't get started until about 45 minutes after our allotted times. They had us wait in the basement waiting room while they cleaned and mopped from the day before. I had scheduled my appointment online and my artist was apparently on vacation, though it never told me that. They did still work me in though. My guest (also getting a tattoo) gave them an approximate budget and they gave her options that were 2× what she was wanting to spend. However, once the appointment started we had a better experience. I actually fainted (something that happens often to me, but this was my third tattoo and had never happened during my other ones). But they took great care of me and made sure I was 100% good before continuing. I didnt feel like the aftercare was explained super well to me, but my other guest got a much better explanation so at least she was able to pass it along. I wouldn't say it was the best ever experience I've had, but it had some high points.

Negative experience: was going to get a piercing and scheduled my appointment at 12p with their online booking system. showed up and was told that the piercer doesn’t even come until 2pm even though there were slots available before then! be sure to double check with the store about the times in which their piercer comes in!

Positive experience: Went for a flash sale on a Sunday in June for my first tattoo ever. The wait was about an hour. My artist was Andrea and she was awesome. I was so nervous since it was my first time but she made me feel relaxed. Unfortunately I did start feeling dizzy during the process and she had to stop twice. I was so embarrassed and kept apologizing but Andrea was super sweet about it and kept reassuring me that it was ok. The only real complaint I have is that the shop is so small that you can’t have a guest there with you, so when I was about to pass out, my husband could only be with me a few minutes before they made it known that he needed to leave. But other than that, I love my tat and it healed nicely.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time going here… I went to get a tattoo here last month by a lady (she’s white and has colorful tattoos) and she did a small-medium size rose on the side of my neck. First of all that tattoo was not worth $150 and even the people who work there knew that. I didn’t know that at the time because it was my first time getting a tattoo so I’m thinking that price was normal but it indeed was not. Not to mention my tattoo faded after three weeks and I been doing and following the instructions the lady gave me. If you are a new person looking to get a tattoo don’t go here because they will definitely take advantage and the tattoo doesn’t even last. The guy at the front desk will smile and act like everything is fine and he definitely knew that tattoo wasn’t worth $150.

Negative experience: Had a new nose piece put in. The staff was rude. The piercer was not nice and very aggressive with my nose. My nose was inflamed and red for a week after having the piece put in.

Negative experience: The owner is supper sweet but the tattoo artists are a hit or miss. Me and my best friend got matching tattoos from different artist. Her lines are perfect while mine lines came out sloppy and slanted. Good deals but not worth it if not done correctly! I asked the guy to fix it after noticing it’s slanted and he proceeded to say it was my arm.

Negative experience: Summer was great and I would love to have her tattoo me again. However- while she was doing mine (and another artist was also doing a tattoo) the owner came in yelling at her about a door being closed. On and on- yelling at her, berating her. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and honestly disgusting. Not to mention- there was a giant roach crawling around downstairs in the waiting room. I was about to leave when my name was called. Again- Summer was amazing. He was a total jerk. Edited: as you can see (not infer) by the response from the owner below- he is condescending, ignorant of how yelling in my presence made it his customer’s business, and an even bigger jerk than I initially thought. An intelligent business owner would apologize for his erratic and unprofessional behavior, for humiliating his staff in front of customers, and hope his response would garner more business instead of lost potential customers. I hope he called an exterminator for the roaches- as that wasn’t addressed or denied.

Fantastic experience: This isn’t just a tattoo/Piercing shop. This? This is a family! From Surge’s high energy bringing an unforgettable vibe the second you walk in the door or even outside. To Summer sitting at the desk ready to crack jokes while helping you get your choices together. They’ve done over 13 Tattoos and 12 piercings for me And I’ve never had a single complaint. Extra shout out to the piercer AMARIS! She’s done 7 of my piercings absolutely FLAWLESSLY! She’ll talk you through the stress, laugh with you through the awkward moments and make sure you’re as comfortable as possible through the entire experience. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shop and give them an 1,000 out of 10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Fantastic experience: Serge greeted us. He’s super high energy in a good way. Live streaming, talking to guests, he was doing a million things at once, but seemed 100% on for all of it. Andrea was my artist and she drew up a beautiful design, almost exact to what I had in my head. Unfortunately, I did not budget my trip well enough to afford the tattoo, but I felt the price was fair and I was disappointed because I really wanted the tattoo. I’ve been dying to get a tattoo in NYC and when I’m back this is 100% where I will he going. Great artists and friendly people.

Positive experience: This place seems to prioritize quick sales over customer care. I came in for a jewelry change, and both the piercer and shop manager struggled to close the nose ring—partly due to the lower-quality pieces they offer. When I expressed discomfort, the manager accused me of “complaining” instead of trying to make the experience more comfortable or offering a better option. While they may have cheap deals, the service and product quality didn’t meet my expectations.

Fantastic experience: Juan was not only very kind and respectful, but did an outstanding job on the tattoos he touched up for me! I will definitely be going back if I decide to get another tattoo, and I suggest, if you do the same, that you ask for Juan- he is a true artist!

Negative experience: I was charged $200 for a tattoo that was clearly worth around $50 based on size, detail, and time. I actually saw the real price but didn’t speak up at the moment because I didn’t want to make a scene — and I really wanted the tattoo. I felt taken advantage of, and I’m writing this not to complain but to warn others to clarify pricing before getting work done. The tattoo itself is fine, but the lack of honesty left a bad taste. Just be careful and make sure you get a clear quote beforehand.

Negative experience: Update piercing migrating. DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. But lowkey reassessing whether the piercer was qualified. The process was a little confusing as you pay first. Doesn’t give you room to change your mind. It was also very unsanitary. She didn’t change her gloves after touching things and her phone. Worried one of the 4 piercings my sister and I got will become infected. Atp it’s Russian roulette. She changed the piercing bar without letting me know. We had a conversation about whether the bar would be long enough. And said she would lmk beforehand if it was and did it without discussion. Would’ve been nice to know before looking at my piercing and being shocked. My sister also paid for two forward helix’s and that were marked. And she ended up with two regular helixes. Which are cheaper in value. The owner also proceeded to mansplain simple math…. Girl. He added unnecessary tension to the situation at hand. Not appreciated at all. When he stepped in towards the end of the appointment. This is why people pay after an appointment. Just a weird procedure to have in place. Update: See photos. My sister’s ear is very bruised and mine is hurting like no other piercing I’ve had before. That says a lot I have 13. Update ts migrating. DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time getting a tattoo and i was super nervous. My tattoer (summer) was so great! She calmed my nerves, made sure i liked my design, placement, and just made me very comfortable. Super clean super nice and very attentive. The owner is also super great! He did not play! I would get another tattoo with them!

Positive experience: The wait was really long for a $20 flash, Eli did a great job with sanitizing and doing my line work though! owner seemed a bit frustrated that I changed my $120 custom flash idea to do the $20 one.. sorry I didn’t want to overpay for a simple line work done :/

Fantastic experience: 6/13 Great place and staff. There were a lot of us waiting for service due to the special promotion. It was worth it. Serge- is super cool and direct. Loved his energy. Eli was fantastic. He explained the whole process and did an amazing job. Thank you Eli!! Love my tattoos 6/27 Update- returned for more tattoos. Juan Carlos is such an amazing artist. Fantastic experience: Nicest girls ever! Summer was so great and funny. Andrea was super nice as well. My cousin & I got tattoos. We did a walk in. They turned out amazing. Definitely don’t pass this place up!
