Fantastic experience: Only Emma is touching my leg! I couldn’t imagine letting anyone else loose on it. I only ever wanted a tattoo that looked like someone had sketched on my leg, that’s why we went grey and not black. She is very talented and I love her vibe. She’s a genuinely lovely human!

Fantastic experience: As a tattoo virgin and a more mature first timer, I got all of the reassurance I needed. Had a lovely front of house chat with Smalls and then spent some quality time with Hector! Only got a little black cat stretching on my upper left arm but left feeling very happy! Lovely setting and atmosphere, couldn't have been more helpful with after care too. I would thoroughly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Awesome afternoon spent with Smalls. He interpreted my design requests and was attentive to details and sizing ahead of starting the tattoo. The music, chat and overall friendly environment made for a relaxed and fun experience. Absolutely wonderful service and atmosphere, apprentice at reception was also amazing. So caring and reassuring when I was nervous. Fantastic experience: Went here for my first tattoo and I’m so glad I did. The place is so cute and cozy as soon as you walk in and everyone there is so lovely. Adam did my tattoo and he was so sweet and chatty and made me feel a lot less nervous. I’m also prone to panicking/ fainting so when I asked for a break, he was more than happy to just give me a few minutes. He also gave me a lolly pop :)

I could not be happier with what he has achieved,his style is just what I was looking for so when he showed me the sketch I was really stoked to get it inked and once again turned out awesome. Smalls seemed really into the design as well witch was really good he is so passionate about his trade. Fantastic experience: Visted True love tattoos on the 09/05/25 and had my tattoo done by Helen, which nearly didn't happen due to a few missed emails on my behalf, ended up in junk folder. Helen was fantastic and offered to come in early for me, above and beyond the call of duty, so pleased with her work, a true professional. Fantastic experience: Pardon my inktrusion into these reviews as i seldom write them. But,I feel I want to. There's just an overall really nice vibe,here. I don't feel comfortable in a lot of spaces,but I did feel at ease here. Everyone's really personable,lovely and friendly. Also, (Personally) I like being able to feel comfortable enough to joke and converse with a person, as i am usually shy,i seldom get to, but i certainly did feel like i could do that with smalls. Though, I only had a touch up on a piece,I'd highly recommend them to anyone ^_^

Fantastic experience: Jazz (apprentice) did a gamma symbol tattoo for me on 26th Nov 2024 and I cannot thank her enough for how incredibly talented she is. This was a design I requested, but I was able to get a sneak peak of some of the beautiful designs she has done so far in her career. I have had a fab experience here previously, Smalls, the owner, did a previous tattoo of mine about a year and a half ago and I couldn’t go anywhere else when I decided on my next one. Jazz, you completely underestimate your patience and I cannot express how grateful I am for the care and precision you had throughout the process. As an apprentice (of a different profession), I underestimate myself in so many ways too but have gradually learnt how silly this is! Happy Birthday! Have a drink on me The environment of the shop is so calming and empowering, including the iconic tiger wallpaper in the toilets when you go for the essential nervous wee beforehand! Goes without saying I would defo recommend this place, everyone is friendly and kind, needless to say accommodating as your tattoo experience is a super personal thing :) I look forward to browsing Jazz’s designs in the future, and choosing one for myself

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had my tattoo done by Emma.In past iv had very small one done this was my first larger one. When I arrived I was made welcome had cup of tea .When we decided what emma had designed for me after I gave her my ideas was perfect she started. I had applied numbing cream as it was covering my scar from hip operation .The cream did its job until the very end when it started to get sore.I wanted a selection of roses ,daisys Emma is known for this type of tattoo with Beautiful colours which is what I wanted.I was thrilled when I saw the end result it was Beautiful every little detail of the flowers was there .You can't see any of my scar now it flows down my hip with little leaves popping out from the flowers.Iv already decided to go back and add one one to make it slightly longer.The whole experience was so friendly we chatted whole way through . It truly was a great experience and recomend Emma if anyone is looking for flowers

Fantastic experience: What a brilliant experience. The entire team at True Love Tattoos were so lovely. From the moment I entered, until I left, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The quality of the art is excellent, I provided a photo of what I was looking for and asked Smalls to put his spin on it, he did not disappoint. It's exactly what I wanted. It's clear the whole team really care about each piece and the people they're putting them on, and they make sure that care extends to after you're finished as well. Clear and simple instructions for aftercare provided at the time as well as emailed over. I'd definitely recommend booking a slot and will be returning myself for another soon!

I thought it would be special to have one of Julian’s quotes tattoed in Norwich, her home. Helen was incredible and kind and so easy to work with. Fantastic experience: I am having the best experience at True Love Tattoos and in the process of having the lower part of my head done. I first met with Emma who is doing it, she talked me through her designs and advised what would look the best. I had my first sitting 9 days ago and have been back today for a 2nd piece. She is so reassuring and talked me through all the steps, checking in with me to make sure I was ok. My tattoo is beautiful and I can’t wait to have the next colour work done. Fantastic experience: I booked my first tattoo here and had a really great experience from start to finish! Smalls drew up a really great custom design, and I was able to book online at a time that worked for me and a reasonable price. Great info sent out ahead of time, and felt really welcome and relaxed in the shop. Everything was explained to me which was really helpful, and I could see how clean everything was kept. I felt really comfortable in the space and with the other artists nearby too. I was given really clear advice on aftercare and got useful info by email too - would absolutely book in here again!

Everyone was really friendly, relaxed and the environment reflects this. I was tattooed by Smalls who was so reassuring and explained everything to put me at ease and made sure I was ok throughout the process. Really pleased with the tattoo. Fantastic experience: True Love is a really nice, friendly, tattoo parlor, it's small but comfortable, clean and inviting. Staff/artists - I recently had my chest tattooed by Tyler (insta - Tylerbtattoos) I really struggled with it but he was amazing about it and gentle. The artists in the studio offer a range of styles, definitely check out their Instagram. Studio - The studio is clean and warm but very small, 3 beds (which are super comfortable). When I lay on the beds my feet are definitely in the way, that said they are moving to a larger premises soon. There is a toilet on site. There is a bread source next door so if you need something to eat or drink during a long session you won't need to go far at all. I'd definitely check them out, it's a really friendly environment.

She did a tattoo of my beautiful dog and I have another appointment with her next month to do a memorial of my late bunny. I can't recommend this place enough. I've even got my partner booked here for his Birthday in December. :)

He took an idea I’d been mulling over and Smallsified it and I love it! We had a minor situation with spelling which was totally my fault, too excited for the experience I’d missed it, but Smalls took it in his stride and came up with a fab way of addressing it. You will never notice. Great space, fantastic vibe, music and utterly relaxing. So if you’re like me and put this off for ages, go do it at TLT!!

I would recommend this whole studio and all the artists in it, I saw their work and it was incredible. And clearly Emma’s work is truly phenomenal. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to True Love for a few months now firstly to get a cover up on my left forearm and Small,s did this amazing Darth Vader and managed to get my daughter’s name in it. We got chatting about my right arm which had some really bad tattoos on it but were really black. Small,s told me about White on Black tattoos which sounded right up my street. So for the past 4 months he has been blacking out my right arm which he finished today and just having it all black has made a great improvement on what was there. So now he can start on the white designs as of September. I really can’t wait everybody that works in True Love Tattoos are amazing in what they do.

Fantastic experience: Lovely tattoo studio filled with gorgeous, unique artwork, plants and friendly artists. Hygienic practices are strictly observed as well as giving the clients as much information as needed (yay informed consent!) My tattoo artist Emma is incredibly talented - she literally hand drew the perfect design for me on the spot and in no time. The other artists are also welcoming and inclusive and I will definitely be a return client in the future☺️

Fantastic experience: I can’t stress enough how good this experience was! As a first timer I was moderately nervous and didn’t want to make a fool of myself. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. My tattoo was small but I was never made to feel unimportant. Emma did an absolutely beautiful job, listened to what I wanted and let me know that I could tweak the placement etc as much as needed. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: I recently got my first tattoo from smalls here and I have zero regrets or complaints! He's fantastic, he took some pretty loose style references and came up with something original that really fit what I was looking for. The shop itself is great too, there's a good vibe / friendly atmosphere going so it didn't take long to feel comfortable, which is super helpful for those of us who can feel anxious in new settings. Once this is healed up I'll definitely be returning for some more work!

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere at True Love is relaxed and fun. I was made to feel welcome, despite being 55 years old and having my first tattoos, I didn’t feel awkward or out of place which other tattoo places have made me feel. Emma took her time in getting my designs perfect before we started, and made sure I felt comfortable due to my mobility/disability, the constant chat between everyone, random topics of discussions was fun and distracting from any discomfort. My tattoos are absolutely perfect, Emma managed to do exactly what was in my mind and as these were memorial tattoos, has made them feel more special to me than I could have imagined. The aftercare explanations were clear and I felt confident that I would have no problems healing. A huge thank you to Emma for her amazing work, my tattoos mean more than she can possibly imagine.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first ever tattoo at the grand old age of 32! I booked in with Emma after seeing an edp article about female tattooists in Norwich. Emma (and the rest of the staff at TLT!) are lovely, I felt incredibly relaxed and at ease, the studio itself is sweet and gives me little jewellery/candle/Knick knack boutique vibes which is very much my aesthetic! The tattoo itself is so beautiful I can’t stop staring at it, the attention to detail is amazing, especially the shading. I don’t think I can recommend Emma and TLT enough for such a wonderful experience- I loved it! And as a first timer at no point was I made to feel inferior or less cool
