Fantastic experience: My daughter had her second ear piercings done by Candice. She lost one of the earrings at school during the healing period. She put a random earring in which caused an infection. I popped back in just to get a new earring in case the hole was ok after the infection cleared up and the lady on reception was excellent. She told me to bring my daughter back in the next day and she saw Candice who put a new earring in with minimal issues. She saw her again 2 weeks later and changed the length of the bar, checking both piercings and we're going back again in 2 more week if there's any issue or 1 month if not for a final check. All of this aftercare has been brilliant and at no extra charge. I have been very impressed.

Originally I was going to pierce my eyebrow but they were super in guiding me away from it (since my anatomy didn’t fit for it)! Please, if you have doubts about where to go - go here!! Negative experience: I came in here with my friends to get my nipples pierced by candice. she was able to do one then continued to call my other nipple ‘deformed’. this really knocked my body confidences as she could have definitely worded in a professional sense, to not make me feel like my body wasn’t up to standards and made me feel quite embarrassed in front of my friends. i was able to get it pierced elsewhere who reassured there’s nothing wrong with nipple anatomy.

Fantastic experience: FAB customer service from Gwen!!! I love going into Indigo, it always has a friendly, welcoming feel. But today I went in on the off chance of a jewellery change, which Gwen accommodated pretty much straight away. Sadly, my hoop was too small, so Gwen kindly offered to measure my piercing for future jewellery. After talking about the difficulties I’d had with my piercing, it felt like the best thing to do was to have my ear pierced again. Gwen was so kind and knowledgeable and once I’d decided that was what I wanted to do, she offered to do the piercing there and then. I didn’t feel any pressure, but her advice made it an easy decision. She did a fantastic job and my new piercing is already less painful than my existing one. Just such a lovely person, she didn’t make me feel rushed - I felt valued and she made it a really personable experience, definitely not the level of service offered by all parlours in Norwich! I’ll be asking for her personally when I inevitably go back to Indigo - Thank you Gwen!! <3

Fantastic experience: I went to get my septum and 3rd lobe piercings done yesterday! Thank you to the piercer (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name!). My nose was very challenging as I have a deviated septum, but the piercing turned out perfect! Everyone in the shop was very friendly. Will deffo return in the future <3

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience getting work done here, had my ears pierced for the first time by Landon who did a great job doing my lobes and making me feel comfortable, and my first tattoo by Kieren who gave me exactly what I wanted with my tattoo, as I am an artist I designed it myself and the process of transferring that from digital to ink stencil and placing it was very smooth and streamlined. Both explained everything with aftercare and made me feel very confident that I can manage the healing process, and answered every question I had. Very positive first time experience, will definitely visit again for any more tattoos or piercings I have.

Negative experience: Tattooed a while ago by a man with a mullet. After seeing that I’m not the only one who had this experience I thought I’d share a review. I felt terribly uncomfortable. Had some meaningful words done on my arm and straight away I felt like an utter burden, felt as if he was annoyed that he had to do a tattoo.. like it wasn’t his job. Very heavy with his tattooing. In my 35 years I’ve never felt so awkward receiving a tattoo. It’s meant to be fun and exciting! Will not be returning here again

Fantastic experience: I've had a few piercings done here and they've all been fab. I had my Daith done over the weekend and it was the best one they've done to date. Very little pain, no swelling yet, clear aftercare instructions. I brought some friends to get conch piercings done and they said the same. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: just had a piercing with Landon and had quite possibly the best experience. We were talked through everything which was being done and wa made to feel very at ease and comfortable. Would highly highly recommend, also great service from Johnny at the front desk :))

Negative experience: Came here for a Pokémon tattoo, I wanted a stylized tattoo of a Pokémon wrapped around my arm like it was holding me. The guy I saw said he wouldn't do it stylized because it wouldn't look good, he eventually convinced me, saying it would still be wrapped around my arm. First red flag was when he said he wouldn't send me any rough sketches. When I showed up for the tatt, I found out he'd completely ignored me, and done a front-facing design, and didn't even try to argue that he'd ignored me, just said that a Pokémon couldn't possibly be facing the other way??? Honestly, I feel like he just had an idea of what he wanted to do, and was hoping I'd be too nervous to say no... I understand he's the Pokémon tattoo guy, so if you want a Pokémon tatt, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I visited Indigo today, for myself and my best friend to have piercings. I was a little wary as some of these places can be very intimidating. I cannot tell you how friendly and lovely and truly beautiful the staff are they all cheated and what really kind and professional. They filled in all the appropriate paperwork and were really clear with after care instructions, they couldn't have made us more comfortable, the shop is quirky and bright and fun, as were all of them, highly recommended ⭐✨⭐✨. And even if you don't want to piercing or a tattoo it's worth going just for the dog

Fantastic experience: Had a great time getting my rook and helix pierced today. She made me unbelievably comfortable and at ease, explaining everything she was doing and telling me everything I needed to know about aftercare. Even though I am not local, I will certainly not be going anywhere else now!

Fantastic experience: This is the best place to go for tattoos and piercings! In April, I had 3 piercings done by Gwen and Landon, all of those are healing so well! Since then, I’ve had 3 tattoos done by Heather and Kieren, again all of them have healed so well and Kieren did the best job of replicating my angel fur baby’s paw print! I got my 3rd lobes done by Landon and 3 more cartilage ones done by Candice, it’s always so nice coming back when you go here a lot, they’re always so so friendly and their engaging convos always put you at ease! It’s super clean too! Also Jonny is a great person to laugh with while you’re waiting! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else and couldn’t recommend going anywhere but here!

Negative experience: Went to get my second lobes pierced as it seems to be a quite reputable place. It was the worst piercing experience i've ever had. It says explicitly on the website that you are allowed to take one person into the studio with you. I took a friend with me as i'm quite shy and wanted to get the right thing and i'm also a bit wary of needles. I got there and the person on the desk was very short and rude, not really offering any guidance or help on choosing earrings and just trying to get me out of the way. My piercer then came to get me and I told my friend to follow. I was then told that I wasn't allowed to take anyone with me into the appointment. I brushed this off and assumed I has misread the website (I've checked it since and I had read correctly). When in the room with the piercer, she placed the dots on my ears and I expressed that I didn't really like the positioning. She went on for ages about how she didn't really want to move them as she was the professional despite it being MY ears. She also said that my first piercings were wonky so itd never look 'right'. It felt very unprofessional and I felt so unable to express what I wanted. I ended up only getting one dot replaced despite not being happy with both as i was so scared to ask again. I also noticed is that the jewelry is externally threaded. I expected better from such an established studio and if this is something that's important to you I would not go here. They offered no advice on aftercare and no aftercare products and I left feeling unsatisfied, ignored, and upset.

Negative experience: I had a really disappointing experience here. The staff were unprofessional and came across as rude from the moment I walked in. I went in for a simple ear piercing, but it was done incorrectly, pierced wonky, and I got a massive keloid where it constantly rubbed and now I have to have it re-done elsewhere. There are definitely better, more experienced and respectful piercing studios in the city—I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you want it done properly. I recently went to another studio and they were so kind and helpful and remained professional about the other studio, despite it being obvious it needed sorting out.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to indigo for 3+ years now for piercings! :) and I 100% would recommend them to anyone wanting a piercing if it’s their first piercing or just a random one, I have 11 piercings by them ! The people there are really nice and always answer any questions I have about stuff + always chat with me. The jewellery they use is high quality too. Normally I get pierced by Gwen or Candice :)!! Jonny at the reception is rlly welcoming and funny too !!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been twice now to get my ears pierced and eyebrow pierced. Had my ears pierced by Candice and my Eyebrow pierced by Gothra both of which were so lovey and friendly and made me feel very comfortable and both went through all the necessary aftercare with me and asked if I had any questions. Don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else in Norwich for piercings and can’t wait to be back in for more in the future

Fantastic experience: Gwen was amazing! Come in for lobe piercing and they are perfect. I asked her to check old piercings to see if needed re piercing, she mentioned that whoever had done this previous had placed it wrong and would redo it for me. Couldn’t ask for better service and she was lovely throughout service!

Fantastic experience: I've never personally used this business yet, but my fiancée has had all of her recent piercings done here, and I fully intend to get tattooed here whenever I can. The staff are helpful, friendly, and professional, and there's sometimes a wonderful little dog to interact with.

Fantastic experience: I had my nose pierced at Indigo yesterday and my friend had her helix pierced. Gwen did an amazing job looking after us - she was friendly, chatty and clearly extremely knowledgeable. Not only that but we were so impressed by the attention to hygiene - she changed her gloves so many times and was clearly very conscious of risk of infection etc. I'm not from Norwich but I will definitely be travelling back in a couple of months to get my piercing downsized as I'd trust Gwen to do it without question! Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Lovely lovely place with amazing staff yet I have an issue. I have been pierced at indigo 3 times and all 3 piercings have ended up rejecting or infected. I have 15 piercings so I think I know what I am doing. Again It’s a lovely environment with lovely people but not great for piercings.

Negative experience: Never will use this company again, One of the piercers won’t mention her name, but she was to busy one her phone and cuddling a dog instead of dealing with customers, when she spoke to me she was very rude, I was originally meant to be charged £10 but they charged me £30 which is very wrong. They need to learn about customer service as they spoke to people terrible…… don’t recommend

Went in on a Saturday unbeknown that they do not do piercing changes on a Saturday but I got myself in a pickle as mine came out and I was only able to put a silver earring in. I was worried that it might react as it is a new piercing. They said that they were too busy which they clearly were, they still managed to fit me in as I must admit that I did beg a little Really lovely bunch of people

Fantastic experience: I had a very bad experience a year ago with another piercing place which will not be named however, today at indigos they looked at my piercings and changed the jewellery for me as I never got a follow up appointment to downsize my bars resulting in unhealed piercings. The staff were super helped and so lovely definitely will keep going to them!

Wish I’d had this done sooner but had been scarred by my horrid 80s piercing gun experience! I highly recommend this studio.

Fantastic experience: I had my ears pierced at Indigo today as my original ones had stretched over years of wearing heavy hoops. Gwen, my piercer, was so friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience such a great one. I am absolutely delighted with my new studs, placed expertly and would thoroughly recommend Indigo and Gwen in particular for exceeding my expectations.

Fantastic experience: Staff are really friendly and make you feel comfortable. I've been pierced there 11 times now. The piercers are professional and know what they're doing while keeping a sterile environment and will let you know everything you need to know/ answer any questions. Update: I just returned for another lobe piercing done by a new apprentice. I was the second person they've pierced, and they did a great job, and I wouldn't be apposed to being pierced by them again.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Indigo on a Saturday for a Conch piercing. Gothra performed my piercing and was so kind and made sure I was well informed with after care etc. I was so happy with my experience that I visited a second time for my Flat piercing. This time with Candice and again, Candice was super lovely and really informative. I will 100% be back for more!!

Fantastic experience: Forever grateful and indebted to the lovely Gwen, who tonight helped me with my new piercing. The day before I had, had a piercing by another studio in central Norwich. I had travelled back into Norwich today to ask them to replace the gem stud for something more delicate but I had missed the piercing artist by 5 mins and was told to come back the next day. Deflated and knowing I’d have to travel back into Norwich (I live about 30 mins outside Norwich) to do that, I made my way back to my parked car. Enroute I walked past Indigo and thought I would ‘just ask’ not expecting they could help me. Gwen, the piercing artist, had already finished for the day but had the compassion to see I needed her help! She was amazing!! She set up her room and was soon looking for the best solution for me. She was professional, gentle and generous with the aftercare instructions. Honestly, if you are looking for a studio and piercing artist in Norwich, look no further! I will never go anywhere else and I will always recommend Indigo to my friends. Thank you again, Gwen. See you in a few weeks!!

Fantastic experience: Took my Mum to get her lobes re-pierced and decided to book at Indigo due to their great reviews. My mum was quite nervous and Candice the piercer was absolutely brilliant with her. Patient, understanding, kind and took the time to explain everything. Plus she took her time to get the positioning just right, making sure my Mum was happy. Candice put my Mum at ease and I can't recommend her enough. She is so happy with her new piercings, thankyou!

Positive experience: Friendly, helpful, quick and painless. Update: They would not repierce my daith on one side while also doing cartilage on the other ear, so I opted to have them done on the same side. The upper cartilage became infected shortly after and subsequently re-infected several times, an issue I've never had before but that I also understand can happen to anyone. I wish I had simply opted for one piercing when I was told they wouldn't do one on each side, as that was what I wanted (they said I'd have nowhere to sleep, Which is understandable, but I can sleep on my back)! The repierce on the daith has healed well, though it was also a bit angry for a month or so after. The cartilage piercing only settled after about 8 months. I was also told I could have one type of earring only for the piercer to say they don't do those and ask me to pick another. I'd rather folks only do what they're comfortable with, but making a few unexpected last minute decisions (like move all my piercings to one side) was a call I regret making, especially after the trouble the cartilage piercing has given me. I still maintain everyone was helpful and quick, but I wish I had simply said I'd wait for the second piercing and do them one at a time if I wasn't allowed to go forward with the original plan.

Fantastic experience: Got my first big tattoo by Sakira! I was so impressed by her attention to detail and also her overall friendliness and welcoming attitude. The tattoo has come out perfectly and I will be sure to go to her again for more! Wouldn’t recommend anyone better for a positive and amazing tattoo experience. An absolute asset to the studio!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to indigos many times to get pierced and they are the most friendliest but professional team I have met so far. They’ve always made me feel comfortable and welcomed. However today they went the extra mile, I had come into Indigos originally for a jewellery change and my jewellery (which wasn’t purchased there) broke in the process. They went the extra mile and helped me choose new jewellery which was a better quality as well as helping me choose something that would suit my ear a lot better. I would highly recommend Indigos to everyone.

The experience doesn't feel rushed in the slightest and they are incredibly precise, ensuring they take accurate measurements to ensure piercings are in the precise place. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: A really lovely tattoo studio, with a welcoming feel. My tattoo was by Wang, who is a lovely guy, and an incredible artist. He’s relatively new to Norwich, and deserves a big local following. I am SO happy with my new tattoo. It took me years to finally get it done (my third tattoo), and Wang was the perfect choice to realise my design. Thank you, Indigo!

Fantastic experience: After years of wanting my septum pierced but being too much of a wuss I finally decided to get it done. The studio is clean and the vibe is welcoming. Walk in’s on a Saturday was ideal as I couldn’t back out Jonny on reception had a big smile and was so friendly. Filled in my form and waited for Candice. Only a short wait and went in. Candice was so sweet and looked at my nose telling me I had a deviated septum so the piercing may be very slightly wonky. I appreciated her honesty and went ahead anyway. I told her I was a wimp and Candice told me I’d be fine. I literally didn’t even feel it! I thought Candice was still putting the clamp on but she had pierced it! Should have had it done years ago. A week later and it’s healing great and is definitely not wonky

Fantastic experience: After not having the best experience at another tattoo studio I went in to indigo to have a piece of jewellery removed that had got stuck in my ear, after the initial reassurance that it could be done and then within no time at all Candice had removed the stuck piece painlessly and with ease. Ended up getting another piecing done whilst I was there as I had prepped myself for it to be so much more of an ordeal that it was. Will be going back for all of my future piercings cannot recommend enough

Negative experience: I had my naval pierced here in May 2023 and had a really great experience in the actual studio, as have my friends who've gone here for piercing. Unfortunately 10 months later I've just had to have the piercing removed as it was rejecting. I went to a different piercer for it's removal and she said that I had completely the wrong anatomy for a belly-button piercing and it should never have been done because there was no way it wouldn't reject. At the time of my piercing in Indigo I was told that I had the perfect anatomy for it which was obviously untrue and it was done when it shouldn't have been. Just posting this as a warning to others considering a naval piercings here as I will now carry the scar with me for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: Had a tattoo from Gema on my chest/sternum, including a blast over of previous old tattoo (done by a different tattoist) from many years previously. I can honestly say I have never felt so comfortable during a session. Gemma really put me at ease, worked quickly, and the finished piece looks absolutely spot on. Lines are spot on, has healed smooth and consistent. Definitely my favourite tattoo. I plan on returning for another one of Gemas masterpieces. You're in safe hands

Fantastic experience: This is my first tattoo and I can't be happier! My tattooist was Kieren and he couldn't have been better and would highly recommend him. He was relaxed, very clean and also very talented this is his original design Definitely have plan's on getting more.

Negative experience: Got it done by a man with a moustache and mullet. Me and my friend got a matching star one on our arms last year. The tattoo itself is okay but the experience with the tattooist is what the low ratings for. The men on the reception were lovely but the tattooist was really grumpy and quite condescending as we was unsure on placement at first and he proceeds to say "I've done hundreds of these" as if it still wasn't a big deal we was getting it on our body for life.

Fantastic experience: Indigo is my sister and I’s go-to place for piercings! I’ve had 3x lobes and 2x helixes done there and they’ve all healed wonderfully. The piercer was really lovely and calmed my nerves as I hate needles, didn’t catch her name but shoutout to her!

Fantastic experience: Always friendly and understanding. Had 10+ piercings here and never had a problem. They have redone piercings for me done badly at other places and replaced jewellery when I’ve needed. Happy to give advice and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I’ve been using them since 2007.

Fantastic experience: Came to get a double helix piercing, my first cartilage piercing, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and the person who did my piercings was brilliant, really putting me at ease and taking good care of me when I felt a bit wobbly afterwards! Highly recommended :)

Positive experience: Came here to get my nose pierced. Was very busy and hectic. Several people milling around waiting for tattoos and piercings, as staff were running behind schedule. But the girl who did my nose was very nice. I felt she could have told me more about what she was going to be doing and also aftercare (I was just given an information sheet) as this was my experience from my Daughter having her nose pierced a week before at a different place in Norwich.

Fantastic experience: I’d had a 3rd live piercing done at another jewellery shop! Unfortunately the stud embedded in my lobe, the shop would not help in anyway!! Thankfully Indigo were so helpfully, removed the embedded stud and replaced using the correct piercing. It’s healing lovely. Highly recommended and will be back for more piercings
