Fantastic experience: Thank you to Factotum and especially to Jazz for bringing my Studio Ghibli tattoo to life. This was my first tattoo and I was incredibly nervous inside but instantly put to rest on arrival. Jazz kept me sane throughout the whole tattoo and the atmosphere is super chill. I have always dreaded the thought of getting a tat done but I am looking forward to my next one!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten my second lobes(in August) and third lobes today and both experiences have been amazing! I got both done by Phebe and she was very kind both times and so were the people at the front desk. I will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I've had piercings here from both Olly and Phebe and they're both incredible piercers, so professional and always willing to accommodate my anxiety and need for placement to be perfect. Both were happy to move placement by even a mm which is such a reassurance compared to some piercers in norwich. I'll always recommend factotum to anyone I meet!

Fantastic experience: Phebe is amazing. I can come to her with an idea that a lot of people would find crazy but she doesn't. We work together on this ear project. Factotum is the only place I trust with my piercings. Olly is outstanding and his knowledge and wisdom he imparts to Phebe has helped her grow her career. Norwich has many piercers but none are as knowledgeable as these guys.

Fantastic experience: Olly pierced my 8 year old daughters ears last month. Cannot recommend him highly enough. He was super knowledgeable and calm, I loved how he spoke directly to her about the process and aftercare. She was very quiet and nervous he explained the process to her and kept her calm without pandering to her or making a big deal out of anything. Her ears are healing so so well and love that they have flatback earrings which are obviously comfier and make her less inclined to fiddle. Would highly recommend! The perfect first piercing experience for my daughter.

Finally took the plunge and arranged a nose piercing with Phebe and i am super happy with it! Phebe is such a lovely soul, puts you at ease and knows her stuff and couldn't have felt more at ease. They greeted me at the door with such an instantly comfortable vibe and the process was quick and casual and professional - I had no anxiety and I fully trusted them. The piercing was quick - a naval done in literally 5 seconds - and the price was reasonable. They were patient after the piercing was done as I have a bit of a phobia of needles so I went a bit faint, but they were considerate and talkative and bubbly and the building itself is so clean and trendy! When I’ve been waiting in the waiting area, I’ve overheard many polite and professional conversations between artists and clients. I have had seven piercings lovingly done by the wonderful Phebe. She made me feel at ease straight away. I hadn’t had anything pierced for over 15 years prior to my first with Phebe so I was really nervous but she made me feel at ease. It was also a lot less painful than I imagined! Phebe lets you have time to think about your options and it never feels rushed. I often take a while, looking through lots of options and checking in a mirror before making a final decision. She always encourages this process to ensure that I am really happy with my piercings. Fantastic experience: I had a helix piercing done by Phebe and she was absolutely fab. Excellent communication, explained everything and the studio was very clean. If you’re looking for some extra special piercing jewellery they have some higher end options as well as more budget friendly. I’m already booked in for my next piercing. I’m also a hearing aid user and Phebe was very considerate and able to work around my hearing aids.

Fantastic experience: Phebe is probably the coolest person ever, she got super excited when i came in to get my eyebrow piercing done. don’t get me wrong, everyone wants to feel comfortable and well-informed (and i was) during their appointment to get pierced, but what i value the most when i get pierced is a little bit of conversation, and that’s what i got. phebe spoke to me about my conch, who was pierced by another piercer in liverpool, and phebe was equally excited over that as she was about piercing my eyebrow. i think her love for jewellery, piercing, body modification and care is really clear in her attitude. i’d love to get another eyebrow piercing done, my second least painful piercing, and super quick!

Fantastic experience: Brought my 9 year old daughter to have her ears pierced today, Phebe was brilliant and very patient with her, didn't think we was going to her her second ear done but with encouragement she did and very happy.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old daughter came for her first ear piercing yesterday at Factotum and Phebe was the absolute sweetest with her. She explained everything so so well, made both of us really comfortable and did such a brilliant job - my daughter didn’t even blink when the needle went in! My daughter is so pleased with her ears, I keep catching her looking at them in the reflection of things. It was such a wonderful experience for her first piercing that she’s talking about when she gets another one!

Fantastic experience: Olly changed my old crusty jewellery from another piercer, helped me choose some stunning new pieces that fit my ear anatomy, and changed them over without me feeling a thing! I did the classic “I didn’t even realise you’d started”! Now my ears look fabulous, and I can’t wait to book in with him again in future for another piercing ☺️

Fantastic experience: My 11 year old had his ears pierced this afternoon and we were very happy with the service from Olly. When it came to the 2nd ear my son was quite panicked, Olly remained a calm and friendly presence for the duration. My son really liked him! Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Factotum. Although there are definitely cheaper places to get pierced in Norwich, Factotum charges an extremely fair price for their service. The piercers, Olly and Phebe are so friendly and really help you with advice and the best ways to clean and look after your piercings, they are very knowledgeable and the piercing process is quick but very efficient. Placement can be anatomy dependent but the customer always has a say about where they want the piercing. I have had 6 piercings done here now and have had no problems whatsoever with the healing process or piercing process. I throughly recommend coming here to get piercings!

Fantastic experience: I had a piercing by Olly a few weeks back and I couldn’t be happier. The studio looked beautiful, the art work is amazing and it’s very hygienic. The reception desk had some lovely attentive staff that helped me as soon as I walked into the building. Olly is a really attentive, kind & knowledgeable piercer and my piercings are absolutely perfect, I’d travelled about an hour and a half to come to this studio to be pierced by Olly and it was worth every penny. I’ve also heard some amazing things about Phebe and I’d love to come back and get pierced by her too!

Fantastic experience: I Used this studio due to its good reviews and a problem I'd had with another piercering place in norwich. I called for some questions I had prior to my visit and the lady was helpful and reasurreing on the phone. I visited later that afternoon with my daughter and we both had our 3rd lobes piercied. A young lady did my daughters and oli did mine . The place is so clean and the jewelry they use is a good quality with a flat back. Oli took the time to look at my ear as I'd preciously had my 3rd done which had caused damage to my cartlidge. Oli explained he felt assured he could pierce without involving the Cartlidge. A week after my piercing one of my piercings was painful and red I called the shop and spoke to oli who sald for me to come in. Oli resurred me the piercing wasn't infected it was just swollen and needed a longer back post. He changed this at no extra cost to me and was kind and reasurring and gave me good advice on how to care for the piercing . I would recommend this piercing shop to anyone, both first timers or experienced.The Staffs professsiolisum is excellent and is as their knowledge of piercing 5 stars for sure . I was unsure if I had the correct anatomy but she was super knowledgeable and able to check for me. Piercing experience itself was very pleasant, and it has healed super well. Fantastic experience: Phebe pierced my ears (2md lobes) back in November and had a lovely experience. She was so kind and explained the process clearly. The piercings healed well, and I had the jewlery changed today - again, a lovley experience. I also had a consultation for a future set of piercings where she explained the possibilities. I would really recommend going there!

Negative experience: Got my rook pierced here over a year ago and it never healed. Went back to a separate piercer who informed me that it had been pierced terribly as it was very crooked and due to the placement it would continue to reject from my ear. For the very high price I payed for this piercing I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Factotum on and off for at least seven years now. They maintain an incredibly high standard, their staff are approachable and kind, the environment is exceptionally clean. The staff really give the impression they are there to help you as a customer, while providing a really high standard of service. Overall making it a positive experience for customers who are new to the world of tattoos and piercings, and those already covered! Norwich is full of piercing shops, but there isn't another I would trust more than Factotum.

Fantastic experience: Had a nose piercing with Olly, ive had piercings and tattoos before but I was nervous for my first face piercing so I decided to come to factotum and pay a bit extra for better work. It was definitely worth it! Even though a nose piercing is painful, it was noticeably less so due to Olly’s skill. He doesn’t use a clamp and the needle went through SO much smoother than i remember, even for a nose which is much spicier than my other ear piercings. The piercing also isnt red, which is much different than my others were when fresh. Definitely worth paying a £10-30 extra compared to other budget piercers ive experienced in the city, which i will not name. Especially for a piercing youre unsure about or if youre nervous for a piercing. Many thanks!

Fantastic experience: I have been having laser tattoo removal with Kelly at factotum for just over a year now (I think!!) and she has been nothing short of amazing through the horrendous pain that comes with removal She makes me laugh and talks me through and is wonderful! And on Saturday I had my first tattoo with Alex. Wow. Simply breathtaking. Hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve had in the 10+ years of getting tattooed. Not only is Alex an awesome human being, she is incredibly gentle and calming in her tattooing technique and is just an INSANE artist who is so meticulous. I often leave in pain, longing for the session to be over but honestly I could’ve stayed a few more hours with just Alex alone, she is ace. I am in love with and in awe of my Freddie tattoo and so incredibly excited to add more of Alex’s work to my body!! The studio itself is clean, tidy, and extremely welcoming. Every member of staff is so friendly! Would recommend 100 times over.

Fantastic experience: I had my ear lobes pierced by another Norwich studio and had been having alot of trouble with them healing. I wanted a second opinion, as I had not been fully happy with my original piercer's advice (they basically said that one lobe would need to be taken out and then re-pierced once fully healed). I booked a free consult with Olly and was welcomed into the studio in a really professional manner... It was instantly different to the other studio. Olly took a look at my piercings and listened to me after asking some questions. He explained what could be causing my slow healing and it all made sense. He told me to persevere and return a month or so later to change the jewellery. I have now had my jewellery changed and feel totally confident in the advice I have been given. The ear that was struggling originally is now looking so much better already. Knowing what I do now and the differences between my experiences, I would only go here for future piercings. Thank you once again for helping me!

Fantastic experience: Had a piercing with lovely Phebe. I managed to secure a rare walk in on a Saturday but I’d recommend booking to avoid disappointment! Phebe was great - clear, communicated and gentle. She was very knowledgeable and gave great aftercare instructions. Fantastic experience: Firstly I’d like to say what an amazing experience I had. Yesterday was my first tattoo with Alex. The guys at h the e counter made me feel so welcome. No pressure with anything. I then met Alex who also made me feel so welcome. I would hands down highly recommend these guys. Being my first tattoo I haven’t been anywhere else but I will never go anywhere due to how I was treated :). Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: I got tattooed by jammy today and had a great experience he was very friendly and done a better job than I ever could’ve expected. Me and my girlfriend both got a tattoo and jammy really helped to ease the nerves and make us feel more comfortable and ready, he answered every question we had and even when emailing him with questions after the shop had closed he still replied very quickly. I would definitely recommend him and this place as all the other people seemed to be the same.

Fantastic experience: The best piercing experience I’ve ever had! I went to see Phebe with my SIL for some jewellery advice and new piercings. We were greated by friendly reception staff and a very clean studio. The consultation was professional and informative, any questions we had where answered and welcomed at any stage of the process. We were given a generous choice of high quality jewellery for reasonable prices. The piercing its self was so quick and precise. The area was marked perfectly and turned out beautifully. We cannot wait to return for more!

Fantastic experience: I've been to see Phebe multiple times over the past few months, firstly to get my nose pierced and subsequently to get jewellery changes. Phebe is so warm, welcoming, friendly and talks you through everything to keep you involved in the process. When my piercing wasn't healing as it should, I went to see Phebe for some guidance and she sorted me out straight away, told me what to do, and it went on to heal perfectly. And my skin HATES piercings so the fact that I have a healed piercing is testament to Phebe's incredible skill.

Fantastic experience: Phebe was absolutely incredible. She pierced our daughter’s ears amazingly. She was very assuring and calm, taking plenty of time to make sure she was happy and ready. Her knowledge and aftercare advice was brilliant. Very professional and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Huge thanks to Phebe for a wonderful piercing experience. It was my first piercing in 40 years and a re-piercing, which I was particularly anxious about. Phebe was an absolute joy and put me at ease both at my consultation and piercing appointment. She explained the process clearly and patiently, was collaborative when it came to the choice of stud and location of my new piercing, taking into account my glasses which I hadn’t thought of(!), and was so brilliant that when it came to the sharp end, literally, I didn’t feel a thing. Fantastic experience: Had my tragus and 3rd lobe piercing done, excellent choice of jewellery and lovely piercers who are very knowledgeable and friendly definitely recommend. To add, iv had 8 piercings in just over a year here and am very happy with the service and level of care. Nothing is to much trouble and they can order in jewellery for you too. My favourite place in Norwich, Olly and Phebe are superstars
