Fantastic experience: Awesome experience at Black Widow Tattoo.Jesse exceeded expectations on designing and creating my tattoo. It ended up being perfect..the right size, uniquely feminine and so much fun. The location, cleanliness, and communication made me very comfortable. I will go back in the fall to get another tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Black Widow tattoo is a great shop in a fun location. This was my first tattoo and I was made to feel at home, even though I may not be a traditional recipient! I was welcomed for a touch up, and on both visits was greeted warmly by Jackson, and had a lovely experience with Jazz. I love my tattoo (Thank you Jazz), and the entire process was great.

He took the time to really understand my ideas, helped me think through design choices, and worked closely with me to incorporate the style and vision I had in mind. You can genuinely tell he cares about the art and the person wearing it — he was fully dedicated throughout the process, and the final tattoo is beautiful. Fantastic experience: I went here for my first tattoo and the staff was so incredibly nice, one of the workers there was getting a tattoo at the same time as me and during her tattoo she asked me how I was doing and it was a really nice experience especially for my first tattoo I was so nervous and I was even crying but when I actually got the tattoo it didn’t hurt a lot and the staff was so respectful and I would 100% go back for another tattoo (my tattoo artists name was jazz if anyone was wondering) it was an overall amazing experience and the place it self is so open and vibrant they really make you feel welcomed

Vlad is an incredible artist. He took my idea and turned it into something better than I thought was possible. He’s also great company, which helped a lot with the nerves. Fantastic experience: I found this place via a reddit thread as i was looking for a new place. I sent in online appointment request. And since that , the entire process has been amazing. Jackson is amazing to communicate with and get your questions answered. I then met with Jesse for initial consultation. This consultation was amazing and we were able to discuss ideas, concerns , and the cost. Jesse really helped via her expertise. And then came the D day, what really amazed me was the little details Jesse added to the initial design we had finalized. Its amazing to know the thought that went into the design. The entire tattoo process itself was seamless Jesse was patient amidst all my leg twitching. I will definitely visit this place again for my future tattoos. Thank you Jesse and Jackson.

Fantastic experience: I spent a while trying to find the right artist and studio for the tattoo I’ve been considering, in memory of my dad who passed away four years ago. First, the store manager Jackson is very welcoming and easy to reach via email, and it was quite easy to convey my inspiration to my tattoo artist Logan during the consultation. I received a beautiful geometric and floral tattoo in memory of my dad, who was an architect and adored his garden. It made my years of indecision worth it. I am extremely happy with Logan’s thoughtfulness, artistic vision, advice, and ability to make his vision a reality. As well, I want to mention that my session lasted the entire day, and the social environment (physically, it was very clean and organized) between all the artists in the studio is very inspired. You could see the respect, awe and friendliness they had for each other, as well as for the work they did for each of their clients. This is a very professional, compassionate and easy-going shop. I would recommend this shop, and my artist Logan, to many others!

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin, the process starts with Jackson who is lovely to interact with and I got to work with Vince who is very thorough at all stages: the consultation, design, implementation, and is very patient and detailed. The studio is clean and the atmosphere is great! I had a 5 hour session and I am happy with the result. I am definitely going to Black Widow again once I am ready for my second one ;)

I ended up coming in for a consult, and although the touch-up didn’t work out at the time due to budget, Jackson and the team were incredibly understanding and accommodating. A few months later, I came back for a tattoo with Jazz, and I couldn’t be happier. She added her own creative touch, and the piece is healing beautifully. Everyone I interacted with during my visits there were truly amazing humans and so helpful… Jackson the shop manager, Mason, Vince, and of COURSE the incredibly talented artist that did my tattoo… Jesse we clicked from the get go and she took time to listen to exactly what I wanted since it was a cover-up/touch up from a previous tattoo. I was researching different tattoo shops but Vince’s consultation was on point, super thorough and solidified that I had made the right choice. Fantastic experience: As Jackson, the studio manager, put it well, I have tattoo trauma. Several tattoos that did not go well, with two I am removing and one I wanted to fix. Jackson provided exceptional customer service, answering all questions and being very accommodating. And Vlad… that guy worked some serious magic reworking this old tattoo. His talent is incredible. He took this tattoo the artist had ruined by over shading 10+ years ago and completely transformed it. I’m really grateful. I swore off tattoos but BWT almost makes me want to get back into it. Fantastic experience: We had a family reunion based around all of us getting tattoos at the same time. My husband and myself are newbies to tattoos but our nieces are seasoned pros. Jackson did such a great job explaining the process to us and getting us all in at the same time on the date we wanted. Fantastic experience: There are many tattoo artists with drastically different styles in their art form here at black widow. I wanted a Japanese style full leg sleeve started, and they had someone very competent to work with me. I highly recommend this shop for whatever ink desires you want.

Fantastic experience: Went to Toronto with a friend for the weekend and we booked a tattoo at Black Widow. Jackson was super helpful and accommodating through email to get everything booked! The shop was super cute, comfortable and clean and had great vibes! All of the staff was super friendly and great to talk to. Jaz did our tattoo, and she did an absolute amazing job! She had different size sketches before we got there so we had options on what we asked for. The tattoo was super well done and looks great! Would love to get more work done next time I'm in Toronto and will be recommending Jaz and the shop!

Fantastic experience: BWT is a very spacious, tranquil setting. Calm music. The facility has a very pleasant atmosphere and design. Everyone is very kind, low key, respectful and well mannered. Artist, Vlad did a great job. No issues. Took his time. I appreciated that he took about 4 mini breaks to catch my breath. He was attentive and periodically inquired if I was okay. I’d go back without hesitation.

This isn’t my first time getting tatted by Logan but this is a new studio for him and my first experience with them. Great atmosphere, super clean, minimalistic and focused. I got my most recent tattoo from Logan and he did a fantastic job bringing the vision to life. Would highly recommend Black Widow if you're looking for your next tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Incredible work by Logan. My tattoo is small and requires absolute precision, and he totally nailed it. He also gave expert advice on the tattoo idea and inspiration I came into the shop with, all of which I ended up taking him up on. I couldn’t be happier with my first tattoo in over ten years. I spent several years debating getting it and I’m so happy I did. Getting it done by Logan at Black Widow was the best decision I could have made for something I’m getting etched on my skin forever. Fantastic experience: Update: I came back to Black Widow for another tattoo with Vince. I'm very happy how the tattoo turned out and looking forward to be back in the shop! I had a great experience at Black Widow! Very professional and clean, and great vibe overall at the shop. For each step in the process of getting a tattoo at Black Widow and even afterwards, I felt like I was getting accommodated and taken care of. Fantastic experience: I had such a fantastic experience at black widow! Logan was my artist and he was incredible. He was patient and understanding throughout the whole consultation process to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. The tattoo came out even better than I could have hoped and I couldn’t be happier! Logan is an incredibly talented artist. He was reassuring throughout the process and paid attention to all the details, from the design itself to comfort throughout the tattoo. He was sure to explain all the important aftercare as well. Him and the other staff made me feel so taken care of, valued, and confident despite this being my first tattoo. The shop is extremely clean and beautiful inside. I couldn’t recommend Logan and black widow enough!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience with Vince. I wanted difficult tattoo from a photo I took which required a lot of artistic interpretation and Vince killed it. He really took the time to try to understand what I was going for and what the tattoo meant to me. The design was perfect and the shading is amazing. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I came here after I decided to get a tattoo to cover up a a pretty bad scar on my arm. I'd never gotten a tattoo before, and was unsure what to expect, or even if they would be able to cover the scar. I talked to Jackson, and he set me up with Vince for a consult. Vince is an amazing artist, and we talked and came up with a design that I was happy with and would work well. After he addressed all my concerns, I decided to go ahead with it. He was able to work within my budget. The actual tattooing sessions were enjoyable, seeing the tattoo progress. Vince is a cool guy, dedicated to his craft, and I enjoyed talking to him during the process. The other team members all seem very friendly and professional. When it was completed, I was told how to care for it, and given a date to come back to make sure it healed properly. I'm very happy with how it camouflages the scar, much better than I expected, but It's much more than that. I forgot all about it being a cover up after the first session. It looks great and makes me happy everytime I look at it, as opposed to before. I'll definitely be back here to get the other arm done in future.

Fantastic experience: Jesse and Jackson were amazing with me. They are professional and super kind. My situation was unusual. I had planned to get my tattoo in the summer of 2023. The week of the appointment, I had to go in for an angiogram and open heart surgery later that year. I had no choice but to cancel on them. I felt terrible, but they responded with incredible support and understanding and allowed me to postpone for a year, although I was able to get my tattoo sooner. Have I mentioned just how talented Jesse is? Not only is she a wonderful person, she has an eye for details I completely missed. She brings art to what she does. I was a "newby" to tattoos, and Jesse was able to calm me down and gently check in with me throughout. I knew I was in great hands. Maybe the best thing is that I felt Jesse's genuine excitement about her work mirror my own excitement about what she accomplished. That's a good feeling. It was a great experience and within 30 minutes after leaving the studio I was wondering "okay, what will be my next tattoo?" I think that says it all. Great studio with wonderfully talented people. ______________________________________________________________ It's almost 1 year later and I returned for my second tattoo, which was also done by Jesse. Once again, it was a great experience. Jesse is both incredibly talented and a pleasure to be around. Jackson is a great guy with incredible follow-through ability. I am very happy with the result and appreciate the time and keen eye used to ensure a great tattoo result. I can be a tough cookie, but I strongly maintain my recommendation of the studio.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Black Widow starting from my initial email consult request to the friendly follow up days after my tattoo was completed. The studio is very clean and comfortable with a super welcoming vibe. Everyone working there is very nice and professional. I chose Jazz for my fine line tattoo because I love her previous work, but there’s a bunch of artists that are experts in a variety of styles depending what you’re looking for. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

My initial inquiries were handled by Jackson, helping me connect with the appropriate artist (Jesse) and then continued to support me through the entire process. Jesse was interested in all of my design ideas and continued to iterate until the tattoo design, sizing and placement was absolutely perfect. Fantastic experience: I came in last week for my first ever tattoo. Jazz was my artist. As you may know, the first tattoo is a pretty nerve wracking experience, but honestly, the staff here did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. Both my artist and the shop manager consistently checked in to see how I was doing, offering me water, and asking if I needed a break. Jazz was so thorough on making sure the tattoo was in a place I liked, even checking with other artists to make sure that it would sit nicely. The details are absolutely incredible, and I've been receiving non-stop compliments since I got it. Thanks so much! I'll definitely be coming back to the studio for more tattoos in the future.

Anyone i've ever reccomended is consistently and without fail, astonished at the level of skill and professionalism of all the staff. Fantastic experience: From start to finish, my experience at BW was extremely professional and simple to navigate. Jackson is an amazing shop manager, and Vince, my artist, was phenomenal. The staff was all incredibly kind, accommodating, and the entire shop was very clean. For a first tattoo, I could not have asked for a better experience, and I have recommended BW to all my friends who are interested in getting a tattoo. I know that at least I will be returning soon for my second. If the this review, and the other 1,000+ 5 star reviews don't convince you, I don't know what will.

Fantastic experience: Best tattoo experience I’ve ever had time and time again. Extremely talented artists, caring professionalism, and a great vibe. This shop has it all. Had a great consultation over the phone with Vince just as Covid restrictions were lifted, had to postpone the tattoo a few months, 9 months later I go to check out the design and it was unbelievable. Couldn’t believe the attention to detail from a phone conversation almost a year before. Got 5 tattoos from him and counting. Shout out to Jackson and Chino as well!

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo done by Chino. I could not recommend Black Widow Tattoo any higher. From the minute I walked in I got nothing but good vibes. As it was my first tattoo, I had a million questions and Jackson was able to help and answer everything. Jackson is a legend and so helpful. The tattoo done by Chino came out better than I could have ever imagined. I’m delighted with the work and he stayed so true to a sentimental piece. Such a great experience here, I will find it hard to get future tattoos done anywhere else!

Jackson, the store manager, was very quick to respond, and answered all of my questions (they were many!). I got my tattoo with Mike. He was very meticuluous and professional and accommodated a last minute change I made to the design. All the staff were very friendly and I felt welcomed the entire time. They also offer a free touch-up for a year after you get your tattoo. UPDATE: I was back at this shop for my second tattoo here, and once again, it was an amazing experience! This time, I worked with Nico, who absolutely knocked it out of the park. I had a rough idea of what I wanted, but after brainstorming together, he added so much creativity and came up with a design that blew me away. It was a color piece, and the attention to detail was UNREAL—it honestly looks like it was printed directly onto my leg! Pic and video attached. Big shoutout again to Jackson, the shop manager. He was super quick to respond and made sure all my questions were answered. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience!
