Fantastic experience: Great great absolutely great place for all the services - be it tattoo or a piercing, everyone here is a professional and knows what’s good! I was tattooed by Simon and he did and absolutely fantastic job! He took care of me and explained to me everything before, during and after the tattoo! I got a wagtail tattoo and I love it! PS: getting another one to complete the symmetry! Skyler helped me with the earlobe piercings and she was very kind and informative! She was calm and helped me feel better throughout the process! She did an amazing job!! 1100/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Came here this afternoon to check in for my belly piercing healing progress (5 month old) to see if I could downsize it. I was unaware of how it should look and I knew something was off by the looks of it. I’m so glad Noa was there to educate and tell me it was actually rejecting! She’s very sweet and comforting, I’ll be looking forward to being re-pierced by her. ❤️

Jace is also very friendly and easy to talk to during our sessions. The other staff I interacted with here were welcoming as well and the shop was very clean. Definitely a great place to get a tattoo done in Toronto and I would highly recommend Jace as well.

Fantastic experience: Came here previously for tattoos, but most recently came in for a daith, rook, flat, and a couple of helixes with a friend getting his first piercing. The person at the front counter was lovely as always and the piercer was super professional. I asked to move the jewelry, and the piercer told me exactly WHY it wouldn't work, rather than just saying no. She also found and corrected a problem done by a different studio on an older piercing. I would trust her with heart surgery after this. She also made a great first experience for my friend and gave him really helpful aftercare information. I'll be rushing back as soon as my new ones are healed :)

Negative experience: I have been here for piercings four times with my daughter (ears and navel) and I would give Skylar a five star review. However my last experience was not five stars. The last time my daughter went I decided to get a single ear piercing. Less than 3 weeks later the earring fell out so i returned, expecting them to help me out. I was told that I could be helped for $5 to re-insert the earring and full price to replace the earring (I only found the flat back) I was very surprised by this poor customer service. The earring was put in with the instruction to leave it for three months and don’t touch it. I followed the instruction exactly but the front of the earring clearly wasn’t screwed on properly. Colibri was not willing to pay for any of the resolution. Good customer service would be to acknowledge that it likely wasn’t screwed on tightly and at least offer the earring at cost. I was pretty disappointed.

Positive experience: came here for a tongue and septum piercing. i was told i don’t have the right anatomy for the tongue piercing and my piercer didn’t feel comfortable doing it, which is understandable! i warned her my septum/ nose is crooked, so to take caution. unfortunately it ended up crooked anyways and i requested to have it removed. i got both my 2nd lobe piercings instead and i’m happy with those results! my piercer was super sweet, kind, and comforting. unfortunate that i didn’t leave with what i expected, but i’m not too upset.

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience at Colibri Danforth. Ive been to there other location in North York for a few tattoos. Me and my partner where in the area and felt spontaneous and went inside. The staff were friendly right away. The man behind the desk was welcoming and helped us with pricing and was easy to talk to. I got a couple of the Thursday tattoos and it wasn't a long wait from picking the designs to meeting the artist. I believe her name is Lara who did my tattoo and Sarah did my partner's. Both tattoos turned out perfectly and both artists were so nice. My partner wanted a couple ear piercings before we left. Once again it wasn't long wait and she was in there right away. My partner told me the piercer was wonderful. Listened, and made sure she has everything she need to take of her piercing. Even at the end when we were leaving the piercer and gentlemen behind the desk made sure we had everything we needed to hear to make sure we took care of our tattoos and piercings. My experience was nothing but positive and the environment was clean. I would recommend Colibri to anyone looking for tattoos and piercings. Communication and professionalism was top notch. I appreciate all the work everyone did to make sure I had a great experience.

I was told to come back after a month, and they offered to redo it free of cost for me. Everyone there was really gentle and friendly, which made the whole experience super comfortable. Positive experience: My initial nose piercing experience here was good. The second time I came to swap out my nose piercing, the customer service rep was not super knowledgeable nor clear and didn’t provide all the piercing options. Then the piercer really tugged at my nose (and made me feel like she didn’t really know what she was doing). She then explained there were other nose piercing options after it was too late. The piercing became infected, because it was a cheap piercing. I was not super happy with my experience there where I ended up getting pierced with a piercing I didn’t really like. Would recommend somewhere else if you’re getting a nose piercing. Try The Unit 5 Studio, they fixed my keloid issue.

Fantastic experience: For those looking for a summary: Sarah at this location is an incredibly talented tattoo artist. She's very thorough with her work, isn't afraid to take her time to get the placement just right before and even during the tattoo to ensure you're getting exactly what you want. I recently had a tattoo addition done with Sarah at this location (@sarahstarz.tattoo on IG, seriously check out her work it is stunning). For context, I had two other tattoos done by two different artists. While they were the same style, they did heal differently and I wanted something that not only matched how the previous two tattoos healed but also connected them together to make one cohesive art piece. From the beginning Sarah was incredibly thorough with her questions on my preferences of design and absolutely nailed it when she sent me her drafts. I really appreciate her taking the time when it came to placing the stencil as well as guiding me on what would heal better or how certain parts of the tattoo needed to change to get the affect I was going for. She was incredibly knowledgeable while also still being fun and made the whole experience a breeze. As someone with severe social anxiety, I really appreciated it. 2 months post, the tattoo has healed beautifully and blended it with my other pieces seamlessly. The shading as well as how she managed to make this new tattoo appear to run behind my others has me still obsessed with how beautiful it turned out. I will only be going to her from now on with all my different ideas. It is clear she is passionate about what she does and I could not recommend her enough!
