Fantastic experience: I had initially come for a different piercing however, the piercer said because of my anatomy, she wouldn’t advise it. And it showed the sense and level of care that they put into their client. She could’ve easily just let me get my piercing and not care. But her advising me and even giving me more time and not rushing me was just so lovely. And we eventually came to a decision that I was extremely happy with. So they really do take care of their clients.

Piercer readjusted placement marking multiple times to ensure they were even, and let me check it in the mirror before piercing. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is great as it is very welcoming and clean. However, Adrian (bulletbutterflies) is the soul reason why I visit the shop. His art is phenomenal and he creates a calm and comforting space. He’ll work with you on your ideas and will be patient with you throughout the session. I’ve attached a piece he recently did below, easily the best art on my body.

Fantastic experience: Took my niece in to get her nose pierced for the 1st time and got my nose pierced as well. The place was so clean and welcoming. She explained everything clearly and also let me come in with my niece, which she greatly appreciated. I’ve already recommended this place to ppl and I will definitely be back for something else. Fantastic experience: This place is great, lovely atmosphere and music. I usually get my tattoos done by Cass/Jellee.fiish on ig and they've done amazing work everytime. They always make sure to confirm the design is consistent with what's asked. They always make sure to speak up if an idea or placement might not be the best and are extremely sweet and accommodating. I've witnesses a little bit of free handing from them to connect a larger tattoo I got, and it was done excellently. Cass usually does super cute, animated, styles but is capable of doing many different artstyles in their work and does colour, as well as dot work. Highly recommend! :) thank you Cass, you're amazing.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could. I went in to Colibri hoping to get either a tragus or a daith (which I have been told by another piercer I could get). She told me I didn’t have the anatomy for a tragus piercing (fine), I’d much rather you say that then pierce it to please me and it not work. She then however, told me I had the anatomy for a daith piercing; pierced it, and then told me it was too shallow and she needed to take it out. If you aren’t confident in it, just tell me and I’ll either pick another piercing, or I won’t get anything done. Don’t pierce someone when you aren’t confident in it. I should have known it wasn’t a good place with the way the staff barely acknowledged when I walked in, and seemed annoyed by my presence. I really should’ve walked away however, when I found out that the person piercing me was one of the people who (didn’t actually) greet me, and seemed annoyed that someone was there, because they wanted to play on their phones. Don’t go here unless you want a piercing with no jewelry. I walked out of there fuming, and I will be telling all of my friends to avoid here at all costs.

Very sentimental placement (1st arm tat) and I have to say, was the least painful experience I’ve ever had. Cass is such an expert at light handwork and kept the vibes/convo going the whole time. I loved the experience so much that I purchased another flash just a month later (1st coloured ink tat!) Thank you for the safe space/fun tattie idées, will most definitely be back

My tattoo healed up nicely and it looks so good since summer. The process was fast and smooth! Fantastic experience: I walked past this place on my way to brunch while visiting Toronto and had my heart set on a flash piece I saw in the window. So I came back after brunch and they were so accommodating and made the time for me! I had my tattoo done by Cass (@jellee.fiish on IG) who was absolutely lovely. Fantastic experience: Colibri is a great and professional place to get your ear pierced. I got a side helix piercing, it was fast and less painful than a tattoo. They gave you a simple after-care during the session and after. They also made sure that it's everything to your liking before doing the piercings. Pounds, my ear piercer, was really great. She was understandable that it was my first time piercing and was really nice. I would recommend her for more piercing and friends. I would recommend this location for my future self for more piercing and friends. Its also a subway line and restaurants/cafés. Note: Would recommend coming within the hour they open for a walk-in.

Fantastic experience: Did a tattoo with Javier (IG: legalpics). I was walking by and one of his creations caught my attention. The original design was meant to be black and shaded but my suggestion of giving colors to it was well accepted. It ended up perfectly: several vibrant tons that blend perfectly to each other. I was afraid that my skin tone would hide the effect but the tones chosen by him look beautiful! The healing process worked beautifully too!
