1 month ago Negative experience: My friends and I came to your studio in September 2025 to get several piercings including conch, nose, helix, and three lobe piercings. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. It is now March 2026 and we are still dealing with issues, one piercing fell out and two became infected and remain extremely painful. One of us had previously had ear surgery and confirmed with her doctor that it was safe to get pierced. Despite this, the piercer handled her ear very aggressively and bent the ear that had surgery, which was extremely uncomfortable and concerning. The environment was also very unwelcoming. We were not even allowed to hold a friend’s hand for support during the piercing, which made the experience more stressful. Looking back at the reviews now, we regret not reading them before going. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this studio.

Many piercings, especially cartilage piercings like conch and helix, can take several months to fully heal, and healing can vary depending on each person’s body and aftercare routine. We provide detailed aftercare instructions at the time of the service. Infections can occur with any piercing if proper aftercare is not followed, while the risk of infection from the studio procedure itself is extremely low when professional hygiene standards are followed.
Proper care of the jewelry during the healing period becomes the client’s responsibility once they leave the studio, as we are not present during day-to-day healing.
If any issues arise, we always encourage clients to contact us directly so we can assist and provide guidance.

2 months ago Negative experience: Got my ears pierced here about 1 month ago, paid for upgraded jewellery cost me $150 by the end of it. Piercing staff was good when getting it done, however about 3 weeks later the screw on head the earring came off and piercing came out. This has now happened multiple times, they are very hard to get in and the trying to put this one back In the head will not tighten. Called in to see if they would replace the one I’m having issues with before going all the way down, they were extremely defensive and we’re not interested whatsoever in providing a replacement, By the end of the conversation, all I got was you can come in and we MAY give you a discount on jewellery. It is only happening to the one which tells me that it’s not something I’m doing it’s something wrong with the jewellery which I paid I believe around $48 Per earring.

Regarding the jewelry, once a piercing has been done and worn for several weeks, we’re unfortunately unable to offer free replacements, as issues that arise after this time are typically related to wear, handling, or normal loosening rather than a manufacturing defect.
When your boyfriend contacted us on your behalf, we explained this policy clearly and offered to inspect the jewelry in person. While a free replacement was not possible, we did offer a discount on new jewelry as a gesture of good faith and in an effort to help find a solution.

3 months ago Negative experience: My wife got a piercing here 3 weeks ago. The earring she was sold kept popping out and was clearly low quality, as it broke inside of her ear, leaving her ear bloodied. When she came in to ask them to redo it and showed them the broken earring, she was refused and was told there’s nothing they could do and it’s her fault the earring broke. Poor customer service. Poor quality product. Overall would not recommend and will be advising others to avoid Hyperink.

The jewelry provided was a high-quality push-pin piece and was inspected and functioning properly at the time of purchase and before leaving the studio. As clearly stated at the time of sale, all jewelry is final sale. Once it leaves our care, we’re unable to determine how it may have been handled or impacted afterward, that’s why we were unable to provide a refund or exchange as requested.

3 months ago Negative experience: Please do not cheap out on your body I got an industrial done here for 45$ it was rushed and painful, I went somewhere else today and it was professional and way less painful with no blood unlike at hyperink where blood was continuous like a waterfall. They also don’t take accountability for anything in their comments which speaks on their professionalism. Give yourself a piercing that won’t feel like a death sentence

Very fast and not as much pain as I was expecting. The needle and jewelry were sealed in packages and the place was very clean. I also asked her about placement of earrings for the future and she kindly gave her advice. Very pleased with my experience here

4 months ago Negative experience: My wife and I went here on Dec 20 evening to get my earlobe pierced. The lady attending us was impatient and not very polite with our questions. It was my first piercing, and a little friendliness would have helped. We felt rushed and unwelcome. I had planned to come back for my first tattoo, but now I’m looking for other options.

4 months ago Negative experience: I got 6 ear piercings which now looking back don’t know how that’s deemed safe, none of them were equal or aligned, the earrings were all standard which were too small later on so piercings never healed. I had to use a wrench to take out the earrings, will never go back.

4 months ago Negative experience: I had two forward helixes done at this place in August and for some reason one of them was pierced at a terrible angle which caused a massive irritation bump to form. I really don't understand why it was priced like that when the first one was done perfectly straight. I'm so disappointed, still trying so salvage it as the irritation bump was so big it changed the angle a bit, but it's not looking good. I wish the piercer would have just told me she wasn't capable of doing it so I could have gone somewhere else. here's a picture of when it was done vs now.

5 months ago Positive experience: I had a $50 small tattoo done during their Thursday promo event. It was a great experience and I was told a touch up would be $20. Fast forward to recent when I took the day off, spent an hour on the TTC just to be told that touch ups have to be booked by appointment only and the artist that did my was not in today for it to be $20. This is fine, I don’t have a problem with that. The issue I have is that no one told this to me when I got the initial tattoo. I think that it needs to be told explicitly to customers the policy around touch ups. I left really upset that I essentially wasted my time and money ~ especially since I took a day off work to come :( UPDATE: I appreciate Hyperink responding to my review. I understand that it was in the consent form but another reminder at the end would’ve been nice since I was told that it would be $20 at the end of my appointment so why not include the fact that it also has to be booked by appointment? I also didn’t message or call the studio because I was unaware of the policy . If I knew I wouldn’t have been in this situation. I think this tainted my experience so will be finding another studio for the touchup. Appreciate the response!

Regarding the touch-up, our policy is clearly stated in the consent form that touch-ups must be booked with the same artist. Since each artist has specific working days, unfortunately, walk-ins for touch-ups can’t be accommodated for this reason.
We always encourage clients to message us or call the studio before coming in to confirm their artist’s availability, as we wouldn’t want anyone to make a trip unnecessarily.

6 months ago Negative experience: Tattoo faded within 1-2 weeks. The artist only tattooed the top few layers of skin, didn’t go deep enough. Then they told me I’ll have to pay full price to get it redone. No thanks!
