Fantastic experience: I came here during a vacation and I got Devin as my tattoo artist . She has clean lines , is very nice , good vibes and very talented! Thank you Devin ! I would 100% recommend booking a tattoo here with her.

Fantastic experience: I loved this tattoo shop! I came in for a quick flash tat with a friend and instead of the annoyed eye roll I typically get from tattoo staff who would prefer to take on a larger more interesting piece… we were welcomed in! There was a short wait but they give you the opportunity to pay a deposit and they hold your spot so you can pop to the art market across the street or choose your adventure. Michael was so nice! He went back and forth with us on perfecting our design while we waited for our artist to be ready. He never got annoyed and he also let me borrow his phone charger! Shawn was my artist and I was so pleasantly surprised that he was chatty and friendly and cracking jokes while tattooing. Very different from the stereotypical “tough guy don’t look at me” vibe I have consistently gotten from men at all of the other tattoo shops I have been too. I’ll be back for sure!

Negative experience: Went to get a flash tattoo on Feb. 22nd 2026. Initially asked for a palm tattoo, knowing the risks/fading concerns. They said no, which was understandable, but I then opted for a tattoo on the top of my hand. I have 2 others that I absolutely adore and was hoping for this new scorpion to match styles as close as possible. Marc(?) came out and was immediately apprehensive to the idea, told me I had to go much bigger, way less detail because he didn’t want me to “regret it the rest of my life”. I gave him the opportunity to not do this tattoo as he seemed to disagree with me on shading/style. I got it much larger than I thought necessary but his portfolio book looked good so I trusted him. Paid $155 ($130 tattoo, $5 card fee, $20 tip) before going back. Didn’t say a single word after confirmation of placement, didn’t even warn me before he set the needle down. After about 10-20 minutes he was done. It is my fault for not throwing a fit but the lines were still a bit muggy from the surface ink while glancing at it, and truth be told I’m not a confrontational person. I have slowly started hating this tattoo and has easily been the worst tattoo I’ve ever seen. I will 100% have to get this covered up. I will be contacting their studio for a refund.

Fantastic experience: I walked in at 12 oclock and they got me in at 6 that evening! They was nice Josh and Michael did an amazing job and being professional at it!

Negative experience: Went there yesterday to get a tattoo, everyone was super nice. However cleaning the tattoo today I noticed the line-work wasn’t very clean and there’s blowouts in a lot of areas. I also asked the artist to do lighter shading and the tattoo is still really dark. I honestly wish I could upload a picture it’s by far the worst tattoo I have. You can’t even really tell what it is.

Fantastic experience: While visiting town, I surprised my best friend with a visit to their shop to get matching tattoos (& my first ever tattoo). It was such a great experience; Devin was fabulous and made it such a memorable moment!

Fantastic experience: This was a top notch experience. If you really appreciate art on your skin- these are the craftsperson’s you want. We designed a custom tattoo, collaborated in advance and were in and out the door in a timely manner. Many of the artists have worked there for over 20 years- so that tells you more than I can about the quality! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My sweet husband loves to get tattoos on his travels. I was a little less sure that I wanted to do that...but its our 20th anniversary and last full day in town so we walked down to see if we could do walk-ins. I like simple line work and there was a fleur des lis in the flash book that spoke right to me. The studio staff were patient while my husband waffled a little in his selection...but we both left with complementary designs that we love. Wearable souvenirs from a great week together.

Fantastic experience: Knew I wanted ink our last trip down in September, booked an appointment at Electric Ladyland before we ever left Maine, this was my first tattoo and they made me feel so comfortable. I cant wait to come back down for more!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to go home with a piece of New Orleans. Perhaps something voodoo and I thought I'll get a voodoo doll tattooed on me so I proceeded to find the one I wanted in their book and I asked him to clean it up a little bit and he did above and beyond what I wanted. It was my first tattoo a week before Halloween. That way I could say I brought a little voodoo home with me from Nola. 3 weeks later I looked down at it and they say to myself. Damn that's cool. I'm glad I got it! So much. So I called them up and told them today. I absolutely love my tattoo. They told me to post a review so here it is. I'm not going to lie if you've never had one. It's going to make your hands sweat but all in all it was another thing. I'll look back on with any memory of pain. Thanks again folks!

Fantastic experience: My husband came in for a tattoo. I randomly decided to get a tattoo of a Fleur de Lis that called to me. Today happens to be my husband and my 32nd wedding anniversary. I loved how it had a heart, that lead to two flowers and then to one flower at top. Billy Bracey did a phenomenal job. I love the piece that he did for me. The shading he did was beautiful, as it was only plain lines when I pick out the basic design. I would highly recommend Billy to anyone looking for a fine lined tattoo.

Fantastic experience: My family & I came to New Orleans for the Boo parade & to experience the folks, foods & music. While here we decided to get tattoos! After finding Electric Ladyland, we dropped by & they had openings! The environment is invigorating..the art work, oddities & colors ..the numerous binders of ideas .. they are professional welcoming & honest. I got Josh in the artist lottery & he was AMAZING. I highly recommend this team but Josh is my guy. He has a great eye, works clean & pretty fast to produce exactly what you want. Fantastic experience: Big shoutout to Michael, Marc, Devin, and Billy! Flew down from Alaska for a wedding in Alabama and was able to coordinate 2 matching tattoos with 2 of my lifelong friends in New Orleans before my flight brought me back to the tundra. Michael made the appointment process so easy. His response time to my emails was fast and he answered every question I had. All three artists handled our last minute adjustments to the tattoos like pros. They are beautiful (pics attached). For reference, Marc did the raccoon on the back of the calf, Devin did the forearm paper boat/balloon, and Billy did my hip raccoon and my ankle paper boat/balloon. The place was so clean and well organized. They went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% happy with their work. If I ever want to add more art I will definitely go out of my way to fly down and visit them again. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Skilled, experienced, clean, comfortable and great communication. I was nervous to get my first tattoo until we walked in and met Michael. He was welcoming, patient and helpful. He showed me tools to express my vision. His confidence about which artist I should see put me at ease and he couldn’t have been more right. He put me with Diin who’s brilliant with lines for the numerical tattoo I wanted, and I’m blown away by his photorealism and 2D tattoos!! So versatile! I felt extremely lucky to be with someone so talented and well known. Diin let me express myself along with his own creative vision and took the time to educate me on how a professional tattoo should always be performed in case I decide to get more. Diin understood I had anxiety and did everything to make me feel comfortable. More than just a wonderful experience, Diin has a gentle hand and my tattoo is healing beautifully. For a first tattoo experience my husband keeps remarking on how that could not have been any better!! So, so, so incredibly grateful for my tattoo and glad we walked in that nite! Fantastic experience: Just wanted to share how impressed I was with Electric Ladyland and their crew. Came to get a tattoo as a souvenir for my trip as a walk in and the experience and the tattoo from start to finish was fabulous. Staff was kind, personable and answered my questions. Had Walt as my tattoo artist and I greatly enjoyed my experience with him. Made sure I was comfortable and liked my tattoo. You can truly tell he has been in the field for 30 plus years. Both him and the guy in the suite with him (didn't catch his name- so sorry!) were personable and kind. Parlor was clean and all cleanliness protocols were followed. If I'm ever back in NOLA and need some more adult stickers, I'm coming back here. Thank you Electric Ladyland!!!!

Fantastic experience: One of the best shops in the city, THE BEST! In my opinion, professional and immaculate vibes. Came for a touch up after an extensive oil burn on my arm and Chris went above and beyond to touch it back up to it's original state. Since I've lived here, I've only gone here for my pieces, you won't regret it either. Shops full of just incredibly talented folks all around

Fantastic experience: Awesome shop! We were recommended to come here by some friends who had visited before, and it did not disappoint! My wife got tattooed by Mark Da Shark and I got tattooed by Devin. Both of them crushed it and we’d absolutely come back next time we’re in town!

Negative experience: Tattoo artist did a Tattoo i totally hate it because it says 69 it was supposed to be fire and water I'm so ashamed to show it but once it heals it will be changed besides the look it was very painful this area should not have hurt

Negative experience: Tattoo artist thought it was funny to put a 69 on my foot when I asked for waves with a moon. I am sincerely disappointed and embarrassed to show my tattoo. Good thing it is somewhere I can hide it until I can get it changed.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service, I scheduled a session for the next day with a small deposit. my artist was Marc who did an excellent job helping me redesign my tattoo. Excellent vibe in the studio if you need help selecting a piece the waiting area has binders and binders of designs. There’s also a cool wheel of fortune thing in the waiting area that lands on a design. It was my first time getting a tattoo in New Orleans and I can’t be happier. I would leave six stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Went tonight with a friend for the second time and got an amazing tattoo from Shaun. Talked to another artist named Walt as well. All employees were more than friendly and professional. I had a great time and will return for more!

Negative experience: I got a tattoo here, the people were very nice and it was a pleasant experience. However, the artist I believe went too deep into my skin and the tattoo would not stop bleeding for three hours. So much so I had to go back and get a new second skin because the first one burst with blood. The tattoo healed poorly and I even had to get an antibiotic because my doctor was concerned. I have lots of tattoos and have never had this problem. My brother got a tattoo from the same artist as me and also is healed very poorly.

My tattoo artist, Marc, was able to clean it up very well and stay true to my original artwork. He got in tight lines and sharp points. Great first experience. Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo at Electric Ladyland Tattoo and could not be happier with the experience. Devin was my artist, and she was incredibly kind and patient. She answered every one of my (probably dumb) questions without making me feel silly for asking. I brought in a design I had found years ago, and she recreated it perfectly. We even made a few last minute changes, and she handled them like a true pro. The final piece turned out even better than I imagined. Clean lines, great detail, and exactly the vibe I was going for. If you are thinking about getting inked in New Orleans, Devin at Electric Ladyland is someone you can trust to get it right. I am beyond happy with how it turned out, and I will absolutely be stopping by again next time I am in town.

Fantastic experience: Me and my two girlfriends walked in on a whim one evening on our girls trip to NOLA. Hank came right over and assisted us with our request for matching tattoos of Magnolias (Louisiana state flower). She drew up exactly what we wanted, her work was amazing and she was super friendly and the parlor was very clean. Would love to come back someday and get another tattoo with Hank someday. She was amazing!

Negative experience: DON’T GO TO MIKE (older man). Here is the stencil I wanted vs. the tattoo he gave me. 1. He didn’t shave me 2. He shaded it when I asked for no shading 3. I asked him what is this when he was done and he had the nerve to say “my poor eyesight”. 4. I started sobbing and asked Devin to fix it for me and when he saw me cry he didn’t apologize or say anything to me and just told Devin “can you fix this”. IDK HOW HE’S WORKING. HE SHOULD HE FIRED. It was my Bach trip and this is the most public tattoo I had. DON'T GO TO MIKE!

Fantastic experience: Shop was supposed to close at 10pm we walked in probably like 10:05pm and they still decided to take us. My friend and I got trumpet tattoos, fine line/single line style. Service was great! Josh was both of our artists and he got our tattoos done in like 30mins. I’m about 4 days out and it’s healing nicely. My first ever tattoo and I don’t regret it! In fact I’ve been inspired to start a half sleeve now lmao

Negative experience: Overpriced & Disappointing Experience – Beware of $300 Tourist Pricing! ⚠️ I recently visited Electric Ladyland Tattoo in New Orleans, and while I like my tattoo, I walked away feeling completely taken advantage of as a customer. I paid $300 for two small tattoos. If you’re a tourist, BEWARE! If you’re considering getting a tattoo here, read this before you book a small tattoo or ear tattoo! This is a business as in not independent artist. These are employees who get paid hourly and have health insurance, the owner pays for all there taxes ect. The artist told me. I do think there should be a sort of guide line you actually stick to for employees. 1️⃣ False Promises & Bait-and-Switch- When I first walked in at noon, I specifically asked for an artist who specializes in small, detailed ear tattoos. The receptionist told me that Kallie or Chloe could do the job. I was told I could chat with an artist at 7 PM, or leave a $65 deposit, and expect a tattoo once talked about. While cost would be around $120 total (ear jewelry tattoo + small charm). This was a complete lie. And The shop charge starts at $80 fyi. Throughout the day, the shop kept texting me for ideas, so I assumed they were preparing. And I sent them over. But when I returned at 7pm, to start. I was left waiting and waiting—no explanation. Finally, another artist, Hank, approached me around 815 pm and said she would take over for the other artist to talk about the project. No one ever explained to why my original artist bailed on me. 2️⃣ Unprepared & Lacking Skill for Ear Tattoos- I wanted a dainty jewelry-style ear tattoo cuz, I wear hearing aids and can’t wear earrings. Hank said she’s done ear tattoos before, and only wanted to use stencils instead of doing freehand designs. Which I told her I was open to creativity designs. And downplayed freehand work. She also talked me out of color, insisting it would fade—even though I have many many color tattoos that have healed perfectly fine. The worst part? A simple design of dots and lines took her awhile to figure out on her smart tablet. I was there from 8:45 PM tattooing to almost midnight, and most of that time was spent on the ear tattoo—even though the small charm on my arm took only 20 minutes! 3️⃣ Poor Execution – Had to Keep Asking for It to Be Visible- When she finally tattooed my ear, it was so light I could barely see it. I had to ask 2-4 times for her to make it darker and more noticeable. She didn’t even finish all the dots on my lobe. It felt like she was hesitant and unsure the entire time. Arm charm: Simple, took only 20 minutes, yet was included in the outrageous $300 charge. 4️⃣ OVERPRICED – TOURIST TRAP PRICING- Now, here’s the real kicker. I was charged $300 for these tiny tattoos! Ear tattoo: Basic dots & lines. Small arm charm Mouse ears, (quarter-sized, simple design): Took only 20 minutes. It was clear that this shop prefers big tattoos. They kept trying to pressure my friends into making their tattoos bigger and more expensive. My friend got a 2”x3” tattoo for $200. Earlier that day one got a 3”x5” tattoo for $215. My tattoos were WAY smaller. FINAL WARNING: THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE ✅ If you want a large tattoo, you might have a decent experience. ⛔ If you want small, detailed, or ear tattoos, go somewhere else! ⛔ If you want fair pricing, this isn’t the place. I think, They upcharge tourists and push for bigger tattoos. I left feeling ripped off and disappointed. Yes, I like my tattoo, but it should have cost MAX $100-$160, not $300. The experience was disorganized, overpriced, and the artist may have lacked experience. 2/5 Stars – Only because the artist was nice, but that doesn’t justify the price or experience.

Fantastic experience: I recently got a tattoo, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. What stood out most was Michael's customer service skills, patience and willingness to go above and beyond. As a business owner, Michael is someone I would love to have on my team! The studio was spotless, with a relaxed, comfortable vibe that made the whole process enjoyable. The tattoo itself turned out flawless! Aftercare instructions were clear, and I've had no issues with healing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch artistry and a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Devin created a beautiful piece of permanent artwork on me and I love it. The shop has a mellow vibe, and everybody seemed in a cheerful mood. They worked with me on the art to get things just right, and I was especially impressed with Devin's attention to detail and genuine concern that I was happy with the process, and as comfortable as possible. This was my second ever, and had a more specific personal meaning (1st was just for fun). I'll love the work for the rest of my days.

Negative experience: I would like to include 2 separate experiences in my review. My best friend and I wanted to get a sun and moon tattoo. First, I was tattooed by Devin. She was fantastic, 5/5! She listened to exactly what I wanted and worked with me to get my perfect design. I received the sun tattoo. The stencil was perfect and the tattoo was perfect. My best friend had the worst experience, she received the moon tattoo. She was tattood by Mike, 1/5. He did not shave the area where the tattoo was supposed to go (mine was), messed up the tattoo (you can see in the photo with the stencil vs product, and added shading when we specifically asked for no shading and didn’t say he added shading until the end) and blamed his poor eye sight on messing up the tattoo. If you have poor eye sight, why are you still doing tattoos? And he did not apologize for anything at any point even when my friend was crying. Would definitely not recommend Mike, he ruined the entire experience for us. Thankfully we received a refund for the tattoo & Devin came in and saved my best friend’s tattoo by fixing up as much as she could (photo with filled in moon). Yes she did a great coverup/fix, but we were disappointed that it was not what we had originally planned for. This was a permanent decision and it was unfortunately a poor mistake to have Mike tattoo my friend.

Fantastic experience: Such a great shop. Clean and legit, Good prices and good end products. I booked an appointment before leaving for vacation, and they were super helpful in planning out my design! My artist Dwight was obviously skilled and did great work.

Fantastic experience: Met Chris in the quarter then visited the shop the following day and got a great little trumpet tattoo. Highly recommend him as an artist and appreciate him as a person! Professional, detailed, and quick work. Much love to Chris and this great shop!

Fantastic experience: They were able to get me in without an appointment for a quick “souvenir” while we were visiting from Minnesota. Chris was friendly and did a great job on my tattoo. Prices were reasonable and the shop was clean. Would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.

Fantastic experience: I had absolutely wonderful experience at this shop. Everyone I interacted with was so nice and helpful. I emailed to inquire about appointments and they didn’t make me feel like it was an inconvenience or a bother (which I’ve experienced with a couple of other shops) and they were helpful in letting me know what they needed and guided me along in the process. They responded quickly and kindly. My artist, Devin, was great. She didn’t make the process overwhelming and she made sure I got what I wanted. I highly recommend Electric Ladyland!

Negative experience: Last week went to this shop waited for 3.5 hours since we didnt have an appointment but the front desk said it would only be about 1hour. After receiving tattoo we noticed that our tattoos lines were not complete missing parts lots of gapped starts and stops and inconsistent on depth and width.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I came to NOLA for a Halloween vacation/Honeymoon trip and wanted to get tattoos to commemorate. Diin did both of us on Halloween afternoon, we were very pleased. Diin was polite, professional, detailed. I was very comfortable with the atmosphere of the shop and the standard of cleanliness. The setup and routine for the procedure was exactly what I was used to, which was comforting. I feel really good about the tattoo I got done and the way it was done. Thank you Diin! Negative experience: I went to this place over the weekend and got tattooed by Josh I believe was his name…. Was the worst tattoo I’ve ever received and by far the worst experience. I have 30+ tattoos. After he gets done butchering my arm, he proceeds to clean my fresh tattoo that he clearly tattooed too deep - with alcohol. This all but gave me a chemical burn under the second skin. Super heavy handed. Blow outs everywhere to the point where the skin surrounding the ink has absorbed ink. This cost 200$. The place itself is nice,really nice people that work there. Just was not happy with the tattoo artist that did my work.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I came to Nola for the Eras tour and she decided she wanted to get a tattoo. She has plenty but I did not have any. We went to Electric Lady Landing and came away super impressed. They got us in the same day and I had Marc as my artist. My tattoo looks amazing. They are clean and incredibly friendly. My wife had Devin and got two tattoos and they are stunning. 10/10 would go there again.

Negative experience: Walked in two hours before close - requested a small not detailed tattoo and filled out my paperwork and sat down. Was told I would be seen shortly and everything was good. Two hours later, greeted by an artist who does not seem into my design. He then asked how long I’d be staying, which I’m a local, and tried to get me to book in the morning after waiting for two hours because “I could get 3-4 of these swifties tattoos done in the time of yours”. We went back on forth on the design and he went to draw up and came back with a big design that wasn’t exactly what I wanted, and then said it would be $200. For a small above the ankle piece. I said I couldn’t do that and he said ok and walked away. Completely awful customer service, waste of my time, and terribly overpriced.

Negative experience: My wife and I got work here. Huge mistake. I should have known when they were sterilizing the needle with a lighter that it probably wasn’t a great place. His lines are all over the place and now I have to go and get cover ups on both when I get home.

Positive experience: What a lovely place! The artist were absolutely amazing, the apprentice was also super nice. My bestie and I got matching tattoos and were super happy.

Fantastic experience: my family and I were visiting New Orleans and went in Wednesday to make an appointment before returning home. they were able to get us in before leaving town that Friday, and worked with us on scheduling our appointments around the same time with several artists. it was beautiful inside and full of kind, professional staff and artists. my artist (Dean) took the time to consult with me before the appointment about the design elements and any changes that needed to be made. Dean was very personable and upfront about the price and process. the tattoo itself was very pleasant. Dean made sure I was comfortable and kept me in the loop of what the next step was. 10/10. DEAN, YOU ARE AMAZING. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved this shop. Walked in last night with a friend and we both were tattooed by Kallie! They had such a fun personality and were super easy to talk to. Felt super safe and wasn't nervous at all about changing tattoo placement. The whole vibe and experience was perfect and they were overall fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I got tattooed by Walt. He was very kind and easy to talk to. He let me combine two designs id founf and made me a (semi) unique piece. The piece turned out fantastic! Micheal (who manages the front desk) was great and totally willing to let me bumble around as I picked a design. Very sweet shop (shout out to Dean who gave me anime suggestions and let me read some of their manga!)

Fantastic experience: Fabulous experience at ELT! It was a clean and inviting environment from the moment we walked through the door. 5 of us came in for some spur of the moment tattoos. We were greeted by Michael, who was friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful. Four of us were tattooed by Diin. His fine line work was really nice, and he paid great attention to placement (which I really appreciate). I plan on flying back to NOLA to have Diin do another tattoo I have been planning for a while. Thank you for the wonderful work, all the fun, hospitality, recommendations, and enjoyable conversations. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Great service went on a girls trip to New Orleans and randomly decided to get tattoos! It was 7 of us and we literally just walked in and got a tattoo with no problem!!!! We all got the same tattoo and it was worth it!!! The experience was great and everybody was very happy with how all of our tattoos came out!!

Negative experience: Do not go here! My wife Set up an appointment from out of state sent pictures of exactly what she wanted. Told the location of what was wanted for clarification. It was a snake on her neck paid the $85 deposit and they refuse her tattoo once she came in and they saw her and will not tell her why. only other thing I can think of is no one there feels like they have the talent to do a neck tattoo. Couldn’t even tell her why and when she asked why it wasn’t brought up they told her to leave.

Negative experience: Made an appointment to see an artist about a tattoo behind my ear. We discussed the design and I even put down a deposit over a week in advance. When I arrived for my appointment I’m told they are “uncomfortable” doing it and they wouldn’t give me a reason why. When I told them they should have said something when I submitted the idea, they told me I could just leave. I consider myself a tattoo veteran (11 including a cover up and rib tattoo) and have NEVER had something like this. I got my deposit back, but unless you’re doing it on your arm or leg, it doesn’t seem like they want to work with you. ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: Great staff great work. We were three walk ins… they worked well with us. Made adjustments we asked for, and charged a very reasonable rate. I’ll definitely be back. Super clean and great environment

Fantastic experience: I was thrilled to come to Electric Ladyland to continue the journey of covering my body with creatures. I’ve been to many other tattoo artists and there’s a reason I come back to Kallie year after year. The touch is light, the laughs are plentiful, and the artistry is top notch. ❤️ The shop also has a great vibe. Maybe one day I’ll spin the wheel?

Recently got a tattoo from Kallie on a whim, and they really made my birthday so special with their incredible work. Great conversation, checking in on pain level, and incredible work. Fantastic experience: Best tattoo experience ever!! Devin was an absolute angel, she made me feel safe and supported in getting what I wanted from start to finish. The whole team was extremely nice between helping me chose a design to getting off the table. When I showed Devin a crusty picture of what I wanted she redrew it and made it even better than imagined. I cannot imagine getting my first tattoo any other way than impulsively wandering in and making a complete fool of myself for having no clue what I wanted or where, to leaving with a piece of art that makes me smile every time I see it. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Michael helped me at the front and was super helpful, took as much time as I needed to find a design and never tried to rush me or make me feel like a burden. Dwight was my artist and he was super nice and patient when I wanted the stencil moved, had a good energy and was funny. This crew made getting a tattoo super comfortable and enjoyable, definitely coming back next time I’m in NOLA. Tattoo was cheap too, only $100.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal work!! My boyfriend and I visited and each got a tattoo with two of the guys. The staff is very accommodating and amazing with their work! Prices were very fair and will go again next time we’re here

Negative experience: $100 minimum for this tattoo, my artist Joshua had no personality, and has TERRIBLE line work. Was a fun tattoo for me to get while experiencing NOLA, the line work is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. As someone who has a full sleeve on the opposite arm, I definitely do NOT recommend this place. I will be getting this removed. Extremely disappointing, would give 0 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Solid Tattoo shop right on Frenchman St. Devin listened to my inspiration, communicated her ideas concisely, created custom pieces for me that I'm proud to display each day. Don't let the location fool you, these cats are the real deal.

Fantastic experience: Came here on our recent trip to New Orleans, we had a busy schedule while in town and the shop were really accommodating with getting us 3 appointments at the same time to fit our availability. The booking process was relatively smooth although walk ins are always welcome too. Really like how the tattoo turned out, Devin did a great job! Will be back next year for sure!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Devin! After moving to New Orleans, I was apprehensive about finding a new tattoo artist. I hadn't found the right fit until a friend recommended ELL. I am sooo glad I gave them a shot. Devin is my new favorite artist and I will always recommend her to anyone looking for simple or intricate art. Support local artists! Bonus points for being super lgbtq+ and female inclusive in a traditionally male dominated business. If old school, all male tattoo shops intimidate you like they do me, try ELL and ask for Devin!

Negative experience: Horrible! I was rushed and the tattoo turned out like trash. The guy who did my wife’s (Dwight) was amazing. My guy (dude with a hat, older guy) sucked so bad. Went back the next day and everyone said the tattoo was trash. If you use this place ask for Dwight.

Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly and kind, got my tattoo done by Josh, does fine lines and works great with colours. Highly recommend walking in here if you are looking for a tattoo place in New Orleans.

Fantastic experience: Was shocked to be able to get two walk ins in on a Friday afternoon during Jazzfest. Scott took the time to explain size and design to my friend for their tattoo idea and gave her exactly what she wanted. I showed the receptionist a picture of what I wanted and she walked over and pulled the stencil from the flash book. Not only was I surprised to be able to get in but am very happy with everything.

Negative experience: Came on a work trip and we decided to get tattoos and the moment we walked in the lady up front was so rude and snotty. We showed what we wanted and she immediately shut our ideas down. We all wanted quarter sized tattoos and we came in 2.5 hours before close and they acted like we were inconvenient to them. They could have told us sorry we don't take walk ins. Did not feel welcome at all. Don't recommend

Positive experience: My husband and I decided last minute to get tattoos while on vacation (my first). They were able to get us in quickly on a Saturday. Were easy to work with and an okay price. If you are on vacation and need an on a whim tattoo give them a call.

Fantastic experience: I had a Great Experience the whole process was amazing I emailed back and forth for a few days, to talk about what I wanted, I made an appointment and the day before they called to tell me my original artist is out sick but they have a guest artist and asked if it was ok, I looked at his instagram and said it was ok, the first pic is my tattoo and the second is what I wanted, he did a GREAT job with what I wanted and I love my new tattoo, definitely recommend this place. the staff was great, it was very clean inside.

Fantastic experience: Went in on a whim with some friends to kill time before dinner, and had the pleasure of working with Erica. She is such a talented artist and the experience was 10/10 from beginning to finish. My only notes…she is so far away from my home town in Cali. Next time I’m in NOLA, you know I’ll be getting more ink from Erica!! ❤️

Devin did an amazing job of drawing up something that was exactly what I wanted even though I didn't know what I wanted until I saw it :) The tattoo turned out beautiful and I already know what I am getting next year for the anniversary.
