Fantastic experience: The tattoo artist did a great job on my tattoo. I went in with my own design and he was able to replicate it perfectly. The piece was done in just under an hour. If you don't have your own design, there are plenty throughout the shop to choose from and they're already priced, also, the artist that did my tattoo has a great hand and most likely be able to draw up whatever you're wanting. I'll always be coming back here for my pieces from now. Friendly staff too, was even offered some candy while my piece was being done. Really cool atmosphere and feel to the shop.

Fantastic experience: Starry Tattoo and Piercing is a wonderful establishment! I have received many tattoos in my lifetime and this experience was the best I have ever had. I am from the states and have traveled to New Zealand for a three week holiday. My first stop was Auckland and although I had been thinking about this tattoo for sometime, I felt that this was the perfect time to lay down some ink. It was impulsive. I feel very lucky to have come to this shop and even luckier that my artist was, Song. He is talented, quick and has an amazing attention to detail! These people will forever be in my heart. Thank you, Starry!

My sister had three pieces done and was comfortable the whole time. Staff was so friendly as she brought over snacks as we waited for our turn. Very hygienic and lovely atmosphere. This was my second time at Starry Tattoo & Piercing and will continue coming in the future.

Positive experience: i got a nostril but the piercer was rude and kind of in a hurry and had to pierce my nose twice because the first time didn’t go in but looks good and you get a care q tips for a week. if you move too much you’ll get a sweet treat put in your mouth

Negative experience: I got a script tattoo done on my arm and the guy that did the tattoo did a BLOW OUT. he pressed way too deep into my skin therefore its blurry, still not healed after 3 weeks, has a scar forming on top. How do you even mess that up...? I know they're going to deny messing up my tattoo but they did and i will be telling people to not go here.
