So we designed a tattoo (dgabc – don't get angry, be calm), and booked a half day with Dan at Sacred Tattoo. Not only is this a super cool place, Dan and crew are all beautiful, creative, and very cool and caring people who are fabulous artists. The result is excellent. Fantastic experience: Had my tattoo appointment with Daniel to have my youngest daughter's name tattooed on my forearm and her nickname just above my elbow. Daniel was awesome to deal with, he didn't mind my daughter sitting there too to watch. He was very patient as we looked for the perfect font. Fantastic experience: Still on my tattoo removal journey with Briar and so far been nothing but positive in removing two medium to large black tattoos. Each session felt in safe hands and comfortable with realistic expectation there will be some minor ouchiness (it is a powerful laser afterall!) but they apply the numbing cream and have the cooling machine going throughout so it is effective in reducing this during and afterwards. Plus the sessions don't take too long. Looking forward to the end result with them.

I reached out to the shop via their website form and Kookai responded the very next day and got an appointment scheduled for less than 2 weeks later. I was looking to finish a floral geometric sleeve (done by another artist), which Joe executed perfectly! He incorporated my references and style preferences while also listening to the concerns and thoughts I had. His geometric work is very impressive and clean, I'm so pleased with the final result! Fantastic experience: My first experience with Sacred was genuinely kind of life-changing. Previous experiences getting tattoos have mostly been let-downs. Miscommunications or impulsivity on my end, more than anything else. Each and every artist has been kind, but none as thoughtful as Daniel Sun. I booked with him for some work to slot into a relatively difficult bit of skin, between some unwanted tats. Eventually this would become the central piece of some black-out. Rather than just drawing up what I tried to convey, Daniel spent ages not only discussing this one piece but my arm as a whole. To create something I could be really happy with, starting a considerable project with me. I could tell he really cared, not just out of self-interest for his work, and that’s the first time I’ve experienced that with a tattoo artist.
