We had a consult one week, from that he got all the info he needed for design and placement of the tattoo. 1 week later, he inked and shaded the design...and it looks incredible. Highly recommended!!!

His studio is made up of private rooms and you can watch movies or listen to music while he works which makes the process more enjoyable. Pricing was agreed up front with no surprises or “charge by the hour” I will definitely be using Living Art for any future projects.

Fantastic experience: Tidy and nicely decorated studio. Rob did a great job on my two tattoos(Mexican god Quetzalcoatl, the god of light, justice, mercy and wind. A motivational quote and little scruff character) that i got yesterday.I arrived and Rob was friendly and professional from start to finish. The design was ready and was exactly as i had requested and once i finished the first design, he kindly accepted to do a second one on the spot. Will definitely be going back for my future tattoo ideas.

The process was sanitary, and clear aftercare instructions were also given. There is also a TV to watch stuff if the tattoo process takes a while. Would definitely go again if I want another. ✨

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a week! I have just completed the Platinum Body Piercing Course which is an intensive week of one-on-one hands-on practical training. This has been invaluable to me in so many ways, Rob takes you through everything from safety, hygiene, sterilisation, product supply, customer service, opening and running a successful business and of course the art of body piercing. What I loved about this course was that it is all about the trainee, Rob caters his courses around 'you', so you can get the most out of your time there and you can walk away feeling confident & experienced enough to start your own business, and well what do ya know, I absolutely do! I am very thankful to Rob, and of course Kendra and Garnet who helped out facilitating everything behind the scenes, and of course a shout out to all the amazing clients that I pierced, thank you for your patience and for the experience. Honestly, I couldn't recommend this course enough to anyone shopping around, the location is great, the studio is beautiful & clean and the knowledge and experience you get is unbelievable and it is such good value for money. I completed approx. 100 piercings in 3 days! On completion of my course, I received a Certificate & a Starter Kit with everything I need to get going, this included a very large assortment of jewellery & piercing equipment, I am so excited!!! Lastly, I wanted to mention I shopped around a bit before I selected this course, and I am so pleased I chose Rob, and I am very excited to return to Living Art to further my training with his Piercing Master Class and/or the Tattoo Course. Rob covered everything from the essential setup procedures for tattoos to aftercare instructions, health and safety protocols, the setting of tattoo machines, mastering line work, solid shading, and gradient shading. He also provided insights on creating perfect flash sheets and engaging social media posts. When it came to piercing, Rob's guidance was invaluable. Despite my initial nerves, he patiently walked me through the techniques for various piercings and had me practice on rubber models until I felt confident in my skills. Fantastic experience: I took the tattoo training course with Rob over the last few months here’s what I have to say about it. I have learned so much about not only tattooing, but also how to successfully run a tattoo business. After taking this course here I now know; how to keep a space immaculately clean and sanitized, how to create a stencil based on a description from a customer, how to hold my machine, adjust my needle to the right depth, which needles to use for what, how to use color, and shading, and much more. I have an understanding of not only how to do these things, but why I should do them, what would happen if executed incorrectly. I can spot mistakes that most people can’t on tattoos, and can find ways to remedy them. I am so grateful to have been able to study with Rob and highly recommend it to any prospective students. I have moved on from his studio and now work as a full time artist, he can get your foot in the door of the industry. To those thinking this is an easy, relaxed, new activity to try out, think again. It is very fun and rewarding but you have to show up and put in the work every day. Thank you Rob, living art will always be my solid foundation and place I look back on fondly.

Fantastic experience: My daughter did the 3 month tattoo artist training with Rob at Living Art. Over the course of three months she learned all that an apprentice would learn over a year or more. Once ready to do actual tattoos, she gradually worked through line work then shading and packing. She has since done scores of tattoos while in the training and now has a job at a tattoo studio. Rob said at the outset that he would train her to be ready to be a working tattoo artist, and thats exactly what he did. Highly Recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a belly piercing done about 2 weeks ago, and after leaving the studio and arriving home i became unsure of the placement. After receiving “advice” from what I’ve now realised were unreliable sources, I impulsively removed the piercing within a few hours of having it (should have come into the studio to have it looked at, but I panicked). After getting in touch with the studio they very generously offered to re do it for half price, and I could not be happier with how it came out. The placement is now perfect and it is my favourite piercing of mine by far. Highly recommend !!

Fantastic experience: Got my first "big girl" tattoo with Rob, and he was amazing! I was so nervous I was shaking, and he put me right at ease. Fantastic experience: What a chill place! I loved the whole experience since first contact. When I arrived it was clean and calm, Rob talked me through everything and was so great at listening to my ideas and what and how i wanted it to look, and also giving inspo and his great knowledge of ink art. Watched a mean movie sat back relaxed and just let him do his thing. I have 7 tattoos this one by far was the most pleasant experience. I can't wait to book my next with him.
