Fantastic experience: Firstly, customer service is very friendly and professional. Secondly, the online booking system and its flexibility is brilliant. Thirdly, TIF provide a quick email enquiry response. Finally, TIF has a wide range of services and they open on Sunday's with is very handy. This was the 2nd time my daughter and I were getting piercings done in TIF, Parliament Street and the 2nd time our piercing artist was Patrick. During both our piercing appointments, he was very confident and professional (which definitely put my daughter at ease). Patrick explained everything that would happen during the piercing process, provided constant reassurance, and ensured he had final consent before piercing. The piercing: Patrick talked through the correct breathing technique and.......... pierced. Simples!!!!! Quick, exact, precise. Minimal pain (compared to not not being pierced obviously!!!!!). Aftercare procedures explained and he was then open to any questions or queries we may have had. We would both highly recommend using TIF for your next piercing and from our experiences, we would highly recommend getting Patrick to wield the sharp instruments!!!!

I quickly checked the website and then booked an appointment right away. Everyone in the shop was super friendly, especially the lady at reception. I didn't have to wait at all. Fantastic experience: I went for my first lobe piercings ever and was reccomened the ink factory a lot. I waited like 5 minutes then the guy was very quick and friendly, it barely hurt cos he was clearly a pro lol. It felt a bit pricey but i dont know average price ranges and for the quality and not using the dreaded 'claire's guns' i think its worth it. Ive had little to no discomfort since and aftercare was well explained. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Went in for my 5th laser treatment and they had updated the machine! Super quick and easy, lovely chats while getting my laser done. Loads of tips and tricks for my aftercare which was so great and has overall improved my laser between each session so I won’t need as many sessions now going forward!

Positive experience: I’ve gotten many big tattoos before I’ve never waited over an hour before even starting to get inked but everything else was great, all the staff get on well giving the shop a good vibe and good energy, I was very comfortable throughout my tattoo but I paid for a full day session 11am-7pm and started at 12pm and finished at 5:20pm I was expecting what we discussed on consultation about filling in the spaces on my arm and he said he’ll do as much as he can in the full day session, I would of liking to get some more skin covered with this session as €700 is quite a lot but overall I’m happy with my tattoo it’s very detailed and villus is very talented he even added in his own extra bits to the tattoo making it pop better.

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo done yesterday at The Ink Factory in Dublin and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had two sharks with a shadow beneath them done across my chest (about 8 inches in size) and the detail is absolutely incredible. The line work is clean, the shading is smooth, and the placement was perfect. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about their work. The artist took the time to talk through the design and make sure it matched exactly what I had in mind, and they made the whole process comfortable from start to finish. Fantastic experience: It's easy to see why this is most people in Dublin's (and my) favourite piercing studio. Staff are always exceedingly friendly, kind, accommodating and the experience is overall stellar. I got my vertical industrial pierced and my piercer was friendly, informative and very efficient with my piercing and aftercare instructions. I would highly recommend this studio and their other location on the quays, the pricing is very fair for the quality and all previous piercings I have had here (conch, rook, septum, nostrils, belly-button) and more have healed well and were done in a highly capable and professional manner.

Negative experience: I went to the piercer twice. The first time he was fine and I got double nostrils done, however I changed from studs to nose rings a year and a half later and realised that the piercings are completely unsymmetrical. Before I found out about this I came to get a vertical labret done and I overheard him say those piercings were “easy” however he FAILED to make it central to my lip even after marking it. He was also really impatient the second time around and didn’t give me a proper chance to check it. I was gonna try get it repierced however due to how rude he was I didn’t want to be served again so I went to a piercer I trust instead. (nose rings are the same size by the way)

Negative experience: I recently came to The Ink Factory salon to get my navel pierced. The master immediately agreed, without even looking at whether this piercing would fit me anatomically. The piercing is crooked and did not fit anatomically at all, I went to another master and he said that it was just terrible and in the end I would have torn the piercing site! I had to have it removed. I absolutely do not recommend this salon, a waste of money and the master's negligence!

Positive experience: Got my navel piercing re-opened for free just €10 for the new jewellery which was fantastic. Then I got my nostril re-pierced but the bar inserted wasn’t bent long enough to leave room for swelling and it had sank into my nose by the next day so I stopped by the pierced shop in jervis and they changed it to a cute diamond straight long bar for free. Amazing service by the pierced jervis staff, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I REALLY recommend Aoife to get a piercing. She was the sweetest piercer I've ever met. I got a bad experience with the other piercing studio about my belly button piercing but I decided to wait 3 weeks to get my belly button pierced again at the other studio. I was really worried and Aoife really reassured me, she was really listening to me. She used like a ruler to make the line really straight and centered. Then I laid down and she explained how she was going to pierce me. She waited until I was ready, she was really patient and I felt really safe. The piercing was absolutely perfect, I was so so happy with it. She then explained everything to me about the piercing. And she was sorry for the bad experience I had with the other studio. When I went to pay she refused to let me pay for it, and even offered the spray to disinfect the piercing. She was the best piercing experience I've ever had. She was really professional, understanding, friendly, caring and overall perfect, 10/10 !

After viewing the work of the artists in the shop I contacted Mateus through Instagram as I thought his style suited the design I had in mind. His communication was prompt and clear. In no time he understood what I wanted and I made a booking. A few days later I arrived for my tattoo and Mateus was ready with the transfer. He tweaked the design just right to ensure the end result would be good. The shop itself is clean, well organised and the environment friendly, I found the whole experience to be quite pleasant. Needless to say Mateus did an amazing job on the tattoo. I will certainly be back should I decide to get another tattoo.

Fantastic experience: On February 1st I got a small tattoo (7 x 7 cm) at The Ink Factory. This is my fifth tattoo and was my best experience so far! The studio makes a hygienically perfect impression. Marcell worked cleanly, thoroughly and quickly. None of this hurt - well, that may have been because it was the right upper arm - and the wound healing also went well. The price seemed reasonable to me, but I didn't compare prices. I don't want to convince anyone to get a tattoo, but if you have to, this studio is a 100% recommendation!

Fantastic experience: I got my bellybutton pierced here on Saturday and I couldn’t recommend this place enough the man who done my piercing was very very nice and professional but you can also have a good laugh with him and I had a piercing in my ear that’s been stuck for a year and I mentioned it and he removed it with no hesitation even though I was only there was a belly button piercing. I never usually write reviews but my experience was so good I had to!!

Not only the artists are open to your queries they can also provide you with great aftercare tips and products that can be bought. I loved the quick service and how I felt relaxed and assured that I am in safe and expert hands. 10/10 fully recommend this place if you want to get a piercing or even a consultation if you are on the fence about it.

Fantastic experience: The Ink Factory is hands-down the best tattoo shop I've ever been to! Sham is absolutely amazing—his technique is flawless, his edits (I draw my own designs but he always takes care of them) are on point, and he's incredibly professional and kind. He always makes the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable, and the results are stunning. If you're looking for top-quality ink, Sham is the one to go to. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The piercer lied to my face. I got my bellybutton pierced here and when I asked the piercer beforehand whether or not I had the correct anatomy for the piercing he reassured me that I did and told me not to worry. The piercing began to get extremely irritated in the following weeks (I also had to Google aftercare for my piercing because he gave me no tips on how to take care of it or clean it). After the third week of a very angry (not infected) piercing, I decided to get a second opinion from another piercer, as soon as she saw my piercing she immediately told me that it was pierced wrong. Ink factory pierced my bellybutton so high up it was actually a surface piercing that was basically guaranteed to reject. So following this second piercer's advice I had to remove my bar or else I was guaranteed rejection and a nasty scar. Devastating news that I don't have the correct anatomy for a traditional navel piercing but I would've been far less upset it I didn't get emotionally attached to it for the last 3/4 weeks. A complete waste of 45 euro
