Negative experience: Sent £50 deposit and a few days later i get the quote ive asked for in 3 fonts, i could have done that myself in a minute. It was also spelt wrong. Used 'your' instead of 'youre' lost confidence so asked for my deposit back but was refused. Absolute waste of time and money

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars all day long! Told Andy what I was after, he did an initial design, I gave him a list of changes and tweaks. He sent the amended design the next day, and it was perfect. Exactly what I had in my minds eye! The shop was immaculate as was the service. Infact the whole experience could not be faulted. This guy is not just a tattooist, he's an artist! Everyone who has seen my tattoo has just been so impressed by the design, and quality.

She listened to my (very) specific design details and checked regularly to make sure I was happy with the size/ positioning before beginning to tattoo me. Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished a two-day sit with Ty and had two different tattoos done, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish Ty was relaxed, professional and genuinely easy to be around. She gave great advice on design and placement, talked everything through clearly, and made me feel completely at ease – which really matters when you’re in the chair for long sessions. The detail in her work is unreal. The line work, shading and overall finish are spot on and exactly what I’d hoped for – if not better. You can tell she truly cares about the quality of what she produces. I’ll 100% be coming back for more work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ty to anyone looking for top-class tattoos. Fantastic experience: Went today for my tattoo with Ty and she was amazing! I asked for a few changes to my design and she done it straight away with no hesitation, made me feel relaxed and felt happy all the way through. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxing and I couldn’t fault a thing. I was offered refreshments from everyone throughout my time there, thank you everyone!

Fantastic experience: This was my wife's first tattoo and she couldn't have been more pleased with the result and the entire process. After losing her sister this year she wanted something to commemorate her, plus her parents as well and she was walked through the entire process. Made to feel so at ease, consulted throughout and loved the result. As she said, it's the start of her tattoo journey so she'll be back and I'm already thinking of my next one and I know where I'll be going now!

Fantastic experience: Had my tattoo done this morning by Ty and I cannot praise her highly enough! I told her the basics of what I wanted and she designed it perfectly! She was warm and welcoming and made me feel totally at ease. To my surprise it wasn’t even that painful! The tattoo itself is better than I imagined and I’m super pleased. Again I got the privilege of being tattooed by the wonderful Ty (@screamqueentattoos on instagram) and again I’m absolutely over the moon with my tattoos. Andy made contact after my initial enquiry and arranged for Ian one of the tattooists to make contact with me to discuss my designs. Visiting the tattoo studio was a pleasant experience. All staff were friendly and chatty and made you feel right at home the vibe was spot on. Ian has done an amazing job with my finger tattoos they are even better than I ever imagined, he was in no rush and made sure they were perfect which I loved! His precision is awesome. Fantastic experience: Was down by chance working and was looking for a specific Tattoo. Had a look around area and Andrew Baxters work at hierogriphink at shiremoor stood out. Contacted Andrew and he called me back same day to discuss. Arranged to go in for chat about design and booked it over 2 days due to complexity of it. Straight away made to feel welcome, when was in for tattoo was nice vibe in studio, wasn't rushed in anyway and after 9 hours got the ideal tattoo that was unbelievable. His pictures on website don't do his work justice. I got a 2nd tattoo at same time as I dont know when be back near hierogriphink. I have a future tattoo in mind and i don't think will go anywhere else now and will make a point to head back when time suits. Highly recommend

Andrew did my design for my tattoo which I loved, and his tattooing exceeded my expectations, it's not quite finished but everyone who has seen it so far has loved it.
