Fantastic experience: I went in to get my nose stud changed to a ring as I had trouble doing it myself in the past. Hurt so bad by other places but here, I felt nothing, didn't even realise she'd done it until she'd said all done. Becky/Becca was amazing! So much better than the last time I'd had it changed. They pierced my friends nose the same day & they hate needles but again, felt nothing. Always excellent with piercings & tattoos

Fantastic experience: Becky made my helix piercing look like a cakewalk honestly. I was actually having a shitty day because I had gone to another piercing studio where I wasn’t allowed my piercing as I was 10 mins late to the appointment and they took the whole payment anyway, all this without any prior notice. Anyway, I walked out from there in frustration lol, and I saw this board that said Walk-ins welcome, I was like yes God has heard my cry. I walk in, pay, get pierced in 2 minutes and walk out with a full heart. Pure ink made my day today because this piercing was a 30th birthday gift I gave myself :)

She made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process and that I was happy with the placement. She also gave me detailed aftercare instructions and tips for healing, which was super helpful. Negative experience: Had 2 piercings done, Medusa and helix. When marked up, they both looked fine, but when my medusa was pierced it was wonky and off-centre so I had to take it out. My helix appeared fine but a tiny bar was put in which didn’t allow for swelling. Had to be taken out as it was extremely painful, red and swollen. Waste of £40.

Fantastic experience: The tattoo is a drawing that my daughter draw before she died of cancer. Emma listened to the way I needed it done and why the Mermaid had no hair. Definitely go to Pureink 3 Emma is amazing. Thank you Love the tattoo.

Negative experience: Very disappointed after travelling into Newcastle for piercings to be told it was cash only. I had just walked past the signs saying all major cards acceoted. Not coming back.

Fantastic experience: Got my tongue and Tragus piercing done by Becky she was supper lovely and explained my anatomy of my tongue very thoroughly and even showed me a silicone tounge of what it would look like as a visual example as I was unsure at first. Explained aftercare clearly and thoroughly and was very patient with my friend who can be screamish and nervous when they got their tragus done . Overall it was amazing experience and felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience highly recommend her ❤️

Positive experience: Used to always come here to get piercings but unfortunately they haven’t all healed sufficiently due to the pore quality of the jewellery used ( externally threaded to ). The staff are lovely and always try to provide the best advice but unfortunately they failed to check the anatomy of my anti- tragus ( resulting in major irritation bumps and rejection). Also some of the advice such as crushed up aspirin is not legit nor safe. Such a shame as it’s such a a convenient friendly pierces with reasonable prices ( probably due to the nature of the jewellery ) Sadly, the positive nature isn’t always prevalent during healing x

Fantastic experience: been pierced a few times at pureink, the lovely becky pierced my snake bites yesterday, and pierced my anti eyebrow a few weeks back. both times she’s made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the whole process, as well as telling me when to breathe in and out to make things easier. she is also very quick whilst piercing so the pain definitely isn’t unbareable. thank you pureink

Negative experience: I had my septum periced and it was so painful took the peircer 2 tries and no wonder because the lady who done it has went through my cartilage which will take even longer now to heal also staff were vaping in the shop which shouldnt be aIlowed. Normally I have a great time at pure ink but not this time on the documents name should be under Thomas lockwood or Thomas Salem

Fantastic experience: Third time got pierced at purelink. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Piercers are professional. I have tried once at metro centre. That piercer was really miserable and not friendly

Fantastic experience: I had a walk in appointment today. I got in straightaway and everyone was lovely. I was tattooed by the wonderful Emma for my first tattoo. She was incredible and made it such a lovely experience. I am over the moon with the tattoo and will definitely be back again soon. Couldn’t recommend more :)

Fantastic experience: Got a conch and forward helix done today by a lovey lady named Jade, you could tell she knew what she was doing as she was super fast and made me feel so comfortable during the whole process, thank you, would highly recommend, especially since they also offer student discount with great prices without cutting down on quality.

Fantastic experience: Got a helix and a lobe piercing from Jade, and then went back again recently to get another lobe from Jade again! Both times went really well and she's a fast and friendly piercer, will probably go again :)

Fantastic experience: Had some work done by Emma on Monday. It's the cleanest work I've had and is picture perfect the image I wanted. She's also probably the most gentle artist I've ever sat with. I barely felt it on the day, and in the days following I've had no real inflammation or even any scabbing. No shaky lines, no blowouts, no worries. No idea how I got a slot so quickly, that girl should be fully booked.

Negative experience: Went into pure ink yesterday with my friend to get a piercing. We were met with an extremely hostile environment, appeared the boss (i’m assuming) and an elderly man were shouting inappropriately. Rather vulgar and disgusting language used towards a member of staff. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable, which is a shame as we have had previous good experience at this shop

Fantastic experience: I had my first tattoo done today for my 21st birthday. My tattoo artist was a lovely lady called Emma, genuinely couldn’t have had a better experience. She was so welcoming and reassuring the whole time. I had really bad cramps and she even got me a hot water bottle before starting! She did an exceptional job doing a very delicate design and I couldn’t be happier - highly recommended.
