Fantastic experience: I decided to get my first ever tattoo to mark my 60th birthday. After my second cancer diagnosis last year as well as a lot of other bad things it was my treat to myself. The lovely Lauren instantly put me at ease and her delicate flower design bracelet is beautiful. The studio is very welcoming and feels safe and clean.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience here with Sarah Maxwell - the studio is so clean and welcoming. It’s oneof my favourite tattoo spaces I’ve been in in ages. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, and inclusive. I would absolutely recommend Cock a Snook to anyone looking for tattoos, especially people who want to make sure they’re in a safe space.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Kezz or Cock A Snook highly enough. As soon as you step in you're met with a welcoming and friendly environment. Kezz is extremely good at what she does and I will definitely be back soon for my next tattoo!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting Snook’ for a tattoo and is now a favourite going forward. I’ve always been put off by some parlours as they do come off as quite quick and rushed. Giving you the feel of not caring or a quick cash opportunity. But here I felt so at ease and comfortable. Even the prior consent form, you know you’re going to be in good hands!! Place looked amazing, very to my taste. Spacious, warm and welcoming. Had a tattoo done by Rhi and even though I didn’t mention anything about how I was feeling, she or anyone didn’t give that feeling or judgement. Snook’ is very much a place of being made to feel welcome.

I had this piece done in support of my role as a facilitator for Andy's Man Club, which means so much to me. I couldn't recommend Rhianna enough to people, she is so dedicated and passionate about her work, and the service, customer care and satisfaction of the end product. Fantastic experience: I recently had a tattoo done by Sarah. I have been waiting years to get one done as all the pictures I had seen of the tattoo I wanted, didn't work for me. Then when I found Sarah at Cock A Snook and explained what I wanted, she managed to design exactly what I wanted. Sarah also touched up a previous tattoo I had & done an exceptional job. I am extremely please with my tattoo and I would fully recommend Sarah and Cock A Snook and I came away very happy with my tattoos.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give Cock A Snook 10 stars! It's so rare to find places that call themselves "safe" and genuinely are, but Cock A Snook is one of those rare treasures. Inclusive to its bones, the Tattoo and Piercing Parlour is a warm, safe, inclusive space for all lasses, non binary, trans, neurodiverse, disabled, and LGBQTIA+ folks. Kezz is great. She made me feel so comfortable, regularly checking in and working with me on designing and tweaking the tattoo until it was just right - the opposite of other tattoo experiences I've had (print-off, trace and go). Her artwork is phenomenal and really flows. Lines and shading are just perfect. You can tell Kezz and the team think a lot about their customers from the help-yourself drinks station to snacks, things to read, fidgets, and loads of interesting miscellany to look at. The whole studio was immaculately clean and tidy (and not like other tattoo studios I've experienced in the past)! It feels like a real community space without announcing itself as such. And I will be back again! 100% my new tattoo studio of choice!

I am very nervous around needles, and Meg is always understanding and helpful, and makes sure I relax. I really think Cock a Snook is the most welcoming, comfortable, and safe place for piercings. Fantastic experience: Had a brilliant experience getting my first tattoo from Rhi a week ago. I was amazed at how my idea went from words to the design. She talked me through the entire thing and was really amazing. The understanding of autism and neurodivergence is amazing and I would recommend Rhi to any neurodivergent individual nervous about their first tattoo. All the artists I interacted with are kind and understanding.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment 2 days ago and i honestly can’t describe how happy and comfortable i was. First me and Kam met a week prior to discuss the designs etc, and i instantly felt comfortable with how flexible and understanding Kam was and it just made me confident that i’m in the right hands. Kam was very patient and supportive which is exactly what you need if you’re like me, Kam immediately jumped on board and sent several designs to pick from so it’s more personal and unique. All of this was perfect and i thought it couldn’t get any better, until the tattooing day got me shocked with how professional,friendly and amazing Kam was!! It was an eight hours session and i didn’t even feel time passing by because how long we talked and she’s a great listener too (can’t even describe it) and i almost forgot to mention how smooth and soft Kam was while tattooing me i honestly didn’t feel a thing which was quite surprising for me as i’ve been to a few tattoo artists and i never before not felt the needle going in and out my body for real made a huge difference of the experience itself. To be fair the rest of the staff were really nice and welcoming as well i can’t lie i had a blast! Felt like i’ve been coming here for years Honestly 100 out of 10 experience :)) Thank you so much Kam you’re the most talented artist!!!

It was my first tattoo and I was very nervous about it but Sarah was excellent in talking me through everything I was doing and very friendly, approachable and considerate. Their artwork is faultless and the tattoo is absolutely gorgeous. I will absolutely be coming back to Sarah for my next tattoos.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Rhianna for tattoos for about a year now and I always have an amazing experience! She (and the rest of Cock A Snook) are very accommodating to my disability as an autistic person and have offered me accommodations that I have not previously had at other tattoo shops, such as bringing in my partner as emotional support. Rhi has such a lovely artistic design and style and you can guarantee you will come out with a tattoo that is both aesthetically stunning and uniquely yours! I always get compliments on my tattoos and recommend this shop! Meg the piercer in particular is also fantastic! I have had awful experiences getting piercings in the past with that being them never healing, pressure bumps, excruciating pain etc, which has put me off for getting piercings for years as they most often than not were bad outcomes. Meg has helped me have a better understanding of anatomy and always gives you the factual truth in informing you on whether a particular piercing is right for you! I now have two healing but very happy piercings which is crazy for me as by now they would be riddled in piercing bumps in the past. Overall, as a service, they are 100% on hygiene and prioritise the safety of their clients to ensure that they have an amazing experience with whatever they are getting done. They all have really good craic which is the cherry on top

Fantastic experience: Booked in with Rhi for a Halloween flash piece. I get extremely anxious getting tattoos and often faint. Not this time! The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing. Rhi's work is fantastic and I'm in love with my new ink, will definitely be back a lot. I'm neurodivergent too and they had several accommodations offered, including fidgets and noise cancelling headphones. Can't wait for my next appt!

I informed her of my needle phobia and she did everything she could to keep me comfortable and at ease, including ensuring that any equipment being used wasn't in my view. Trusting anyone with a memorial piece is always going to be tough but Sarah’s design/execution were perfect! On the day, Sarah supported me as a friend as well as an artist when I was experiencing some difficulties outside of the tattoo experience. Sarah kept me grounded and I could not be more grateful! I was even given a hot water bottle when I started feeling cold toward the end of the session. Amazing customer service! Massive shout out to a fantastic human and a brilliant studio! Going into a new tattoo studio for the first time can feel quite daunting, especially if you suffer from anxiety but my experience overall was very relaxed and I felt super comfortable every step of the way. Fantastic experience: the most accessible and accommodating studio i've ever seen let alone been tatted in. sarah did a perfect job and was able to completely understand what sort of design i was after. they made me feel completely safe in requesting stencil adjustments and design alterations. even parts of the design we both assumed wouldn't heal as they were in the bend of my wrist healed fine.

Fantastic experience: I had a medieval jester tattoo done on 26th March by Sarah Eve Maxwell. I've never seen any other artist do tattoos in woodcut/etching style so I knew I had to get a custom piece after seeing some of their flash! Sarah was very accommodating despite me being 20 minutes late. They made the process very comfortable by engaging with me in conversation for most of the session. I felt very reassured throughout as a fellow non-binary person. They were also efficient when doing the shading while not rushing the process. I'm chuffed with the result!! :) The layout of the studio is so class as well!! It's lovely seeing the tattoo artists' artworks displayed for commission and the wide range of jewellery options for piercings. Thank you, Sarah, Meg and the rest of the team for facilitating such an inclusive and welcoming space for your clients!!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment for a tattoo with Rhi this afternoon. Being an anxious Annie I was really nervous. Rhi was fab, had prepared a few different sizes of the design for me to choose from and when I'd said I wasn't sure about getting shading, she let me take things step by step and have a look in the mirror before going ahead with it. Nothing went on my skin unless I was 100% happy with it. I felt really well looked after and comfortable and really hope to get some more pieces from Rhi in the future.

I had a tattoo done by a previous artist that didnt develop well and I needed something to make me feel beautiful again. Rhi helped me with that, we got on so well during our session and afterwards she gave me a lovely little care package with some essentials. I will forever recommend Cock-A-Snook and their artists!❤️

Fantastic experience: I got a rib tattoo with Sarah in mid-February, and they were absolutely amazing. When I started feeling really cold without my shirt on, they noticed right away and, without me even asking, brought me a hot water bottle—it made all the difference. Sarah took incredible care of me throughout the session, especially toward the end when my pain tolerance was running low. Their attentiveness and kindness made the whole experience so much better. Highly recommend!

Shop itself was so inviting and Sarah made sure I was happy with every detail of my tattoos and went through multiple redesigns till I was 100% happy with them. Fantastic experience: Sarah’s art style is otherwordly and their technic is outstanding! They did an excellent job of interpreting my tattoo ideas from my nonsensical descriptions (really cannot praise them enough for this!). They had the upmost patience when I had editing tweeks and was just generally an excellent human being. Put it this way - first tattoo was in June and by August I had 5 Get into it!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo here today from Sarah Eve Maxwell and I would highly recommend going to them for a tattoo. They were understanding of my lack of knowledge about the tattoo process and made a great effort to make it as simple as possible for me. They provided me with useful advice on the size and position of the tattoo in order to make it look its best. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming which helped ease my nerves and make the tattoo process more enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be going back to them for my next tattoo!
