Fantastic experience: We’ll be going to Jonny for years he’s brilliant like proper welcoming, a right laugh and does insane tattoos, I’ve followed him to the amazing Northern Glory tattoo shop, thoroughly enjoyed my time in this studio with amazing crack and pure lethal tattoos. Felt proper welcome from the start and comfortable interacting with all the artists and asking question’s. Would definitely recommend heading over to the studio to get some insane tattoos like.

Fantastic experience: I don’t want to go anywhere else! Liv started tattooing me a few years back and slowly I have been marveling over their work and adding their pieces to my body. It’s so lush seeing how much their craft has grown. They are so talented and make the best environment ever. Whether you want it to be quiet without judgement or talking and chatting like you’re old mates, she really sets the vibe you need and want. I couldn’t recommend a better tattoo artist. Super central to Newcastle and again just a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being amazing. I’ve never had any issues with my tattoos whilst they’ve been healing. Super clean ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have visited Northern Glory three or four times this year, and each experience has been excellent. I have received one tattoo from Liv and all others from Cam. My most recent tattoo, two magpies, was skillfully brought to life by Cam with vibrant colours and flowers.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the staff are fantastic. I got a cover up tattoo of Cam and I couldn't be happier, Cam is a brilliant artist and I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: I have had multiple tattoos done by Liv at northern glory and so happy with how they turned out! Liv is lovely, so friendly and easy to talk to! She makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process and is willing to change the design, placement etc until it’s exactly how you want it! The studio is always immaculate and other artists are friendly when you arrive. All my tattoos done by Liv have healed amazing and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Honestly this review would be long just praising Liv that's how good she it. Anything you want she will do and will add her flair to it, and she always does what you ask. Fantastic experience: Liv has done most of my body work, following her from when she was an apprentice and not once has she ever done a bad piece even when it's not been her staple style (i have line work and she typically does more detailed pieces blackwork/coloured pieces) - This proves that she is incredibly talented at any work she does, not just being restricted to one style. She continues to excel at what she does every single day helping you get the design and placement just right. Her heart goes into every piece she does and her history of work shows it. The studio is full of amazing artists who take pride in their work and are a proper team - the atmosphere is fun and laid back, leading to an easygoing experience with all worries becoming irrelevant. I highly recommend northern glory and will continue going for the foreseeable.

Fantastic experience: Been seeing Liv for tattoos now for years and she works at Northern Glory. It’s really easy to get booked in, you just communicate with the artist you want and the next available slot will be yours with a deposit. They’re fast and reliable and they’re all professionals. Liv is so canny and great at what she does, she can design tattoos you want and need with details on size and location on the body, she will always want updates after the tattoo healing process to see the outcome of her work. The atmosphere in the studio is great, they have a tv on with either music or friends tv show the last few times I had gone. It feels really welcoming as everyone is really friendly and chatty.

Fantastic experience: Always a great atmosphere. Staff are friendly have good banter with you and other staff. TVs on, music on, always a chill place to be, especially if they're putting you through hell with the tattooing. Cheers Cam!

From the first message right through to the last wipe of the machine, everything was smooth, professional and easy. She listened to my ideas, added her own creative touch, and the design turned out even better than I imagined. The studio has such a good vibe — relaxed, welcoming and full of great energy. Sophie’s style is unique, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. The tattoo healed has come out beautifully, the linework and detail are perfect. If you’re looking for an artist with talent, originality and a proper chilled atmosphere, I’d 100% recommend Sophie.

Her work is absolutely incredible and I will always keep come back to her. She creates the most inclusive, judgment free, safe space, it feels like I’m going to visit a friend. Positive experience: Went to Northern Glory for the first time yesterday & got a tattoo from Sophie. The staff are all super friendly, polite, and funny, and the place was really nicely decorated and well located. Studio is hygienic and tidy. Easy to book an appointment with quick responses (booked mine VIA Instagram). Good and affordable pricing, especially in the heart of Newcastle…! Accepts both cash & bank transfer payments. Sophie was friendly and gave good tattoo aftercare advice. Seemed to take a little long to start, but in all fairness the studio was jam packed with people wanting to be booked in for tattoos when I first went in… so I understand that there would’ve been a slight delay. Second skin available as an option which I was grateful for. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a tattoo done by Sophie (Problematic Tattoos) and the whole experience was perfect. Sophie let me take my time to choose exactly where I wanted the stencil, checking the mirror and moving it about. Once the stencil was in the right place for me, Sophie explained where and how she was going to start and my tattoo was very well done. It was also very clean and the other artists were all nice too. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable session. I love my new tattoo, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Can’t rate this place highly enough kind friendly staff and such a good vibe! been getting my tattoos done by problematic (Mallon) for a while now and they’re my go to artist they are an absolute dream to get tattooed by on top of having the sickest flash their customs are some of my favourite most thoughtful pieces. They make such an effort to make you feel comfortable & make sure you’re happy with everything! I have nerve ending problems which means I can twitch like mad and it’s never once effected the turn out of my tattoos or felt like they were upset with me over it. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone (and I do)

I've asked her a thousand questions about other tattoos I am considering and she puts loads of time into making sure my weird requests are met and super patient. Fantastic experience: I've been getting tattoos from Northern Glory for about 2 years now and it's been great. Appointments are always chill, the information I've been given to take care of my tattoos has ensured no complications with any of them. I will note that I've only ever gotten tattoos from one artist there (Jordan) but everyone else is really friendly and welcoming!

Fantastic experience: Tattoo from cam this morning awesome as always this is my 5th one done by cam Cam and all other artists are very talented and professional, make you feel welcome and at ease from start to finish already booked to come back next month

Negative experience: Tattoo I got here ended up being very distorted and scarred. During the process artists in the shop offered me alcohol which I wasn’t able to say no too and made me quite uncomfortable. During the touch up artists in the shop including who was doing mine were talking about how they were out drinking that morning and they weren’t feeling well. Basically gave the impression the person doing my touch up was either still drunk or hungover. Definitely won’t be back again sorry x
