Negative experience: Really disappointed with the results of my tattoo. The guy who did it was really nice but it simply looks terrible. It’s compressed and lacks all the detail that was in the original picture I showed him. He only took about 10 minutes on a tattoo that realistically should have taken longer. Really disappointed. The tattoo it’s self was £120 and it’s honestly one of my biggest regrets.

Fantastic experience: Jade did my piercing on Saturday and it was she was so nice with it! I definitely felt comfortable with her compared to anywhere else I've gone and she was patient when I asked for it to be placed differently. I'll definitely be coming back in the future!

Negative experience: I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I got my tattoo here and not even a year later, it looks like a child drew it. I paid £40-50 for the numbers ‘17’ and asked for fineline, which I was told was okay, but now it has massively blown out and is completely disproportioned. Even when I first got it, the tattoo was wonky. I am really disappointed as I’ve had piercings here before that have been great but due to this experience I wouldn’t return. The staff were lovely hence leaving two stars instead of one but since the tattoo is on me for life I can’t help but feel super upset and disappointed with my experience.

Fantastic experience: I’m not from the area but wanted my lobe pierced. I was looked after by Carman who was amazing at what she does! I felt so comfortable with her skills and advice I ended up getting my lobe, conch, helix, tragus, septum and 2nd nose. I’ll 100% travel in future for any more that I need! Positive experience: Not much of a complainer when it comes to things like this, I never ever leave reviews but I’m bored, got my eyebrow done the other day, love it class easy process, however I did have to go to all of their shops to actually get it, probs my fault not reading things properly but i wish it was a little bit more clear, I paid in one shop and got sent to the next, overall it’s a okay service it was later on in the evening and I understand the workers probs just wanted to get home, the piercer lady was easy, hassle free, Just how I like it, she still give me a heads up when she was going to do it ect, it’s my first piercing so I was a little nervous but so far I’m loving it, had tons of compliments about it so I’m a happy fella, and for the price of it I cannot complain at all, I hope it doesn’t reject, it stopped hurting after an hour or too and swelling went down after a day, overall I’d recommend if you arnt a snowflake and expect everything to be perfect.

Negative experience: EDIT: Recently, I have left a review that is below. The response from PureInk? ‘You are not our customer because you are not on the system’. Well of course I am not on the system if they didn’t give me a form to fill in. I have attached a screenshot from my internet banking to really prove that I was indeed a customer who received this hideous tattoo. From now on, I will never even go for a piercing there, and you shouldn’t either. What a horrible attitude this is. I almost never leave reviews but this time, I am appalled. First at the service and second at the outcome. I have been to pure ink several times to have my piercings done, which has never been an issue. However, a tattoo? A HUGE mistake. I wanted a cover up of my old tattoo (first picture) and I showed the artist what I would like to change that to the cracked marble-like style. I understood that the tattoo was going to be slightly different, however, the final result is very different from what I wanted. It is a different style and it completely covered up my other tattoo. I wanted a marble style but got something that looks like a burnt bush or a hollow tree. It is nothing like the style I wanted. I messaged pure ink, asking for a refund or partial refund as I am having this removed. Absolutely zero response from pure ink. And you know how much they charged for this? £240!!! The artist did scribble a template on, however, assured me that this was just a rough estimate so I didn’t have to worry. AND they didn’t even give me any forms to sign as they usually do, didn’t tell me how to care for my tattoo and didn’t show my and of the T&Cs. Definitely avoid Pure Ink for tattoos. It is absolutely abysmal.

Fantastic experience: Got 4 tattoos done by Scott a few weeks ago. The time he took to discuss size, colour and placement meant I went back today for 3 more. Very professional, friendly and knowledgable about what looked good, how to take care afterwards and was a pleasure to be tattoo’d by him. Every member of staff I dealt with were professional and friendly. 100% recommend and will only be going back here for future tats.

Negative experience: Visited with a young person in my care who wanted information about becoming a tattoo artist. The man behind the counter was rude, impatient, and dismissive. Poor people skills, disappointing experience, and upsetting for the young person. Cannot comment on tattoo or piercings. That being said, would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: My tattoo experiences are always great from pure ink I’ve had 3 tattoos from here including the one today that I had done by arik , he was amazing very kind, and good person to help me not feel nervous would definitely recommend coming to this tattoo studio if your looking for your next tattoo

Negative experience: They did my tattoo wrong, had to go get it removed, been doing laser appointments for 2 years however it still hasn’t gone because it was done too deep. Waste of money and now spent over a 1.5k trying to get it removed because they did my tattoo wrong

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few piercings done at Pureink now, and every time has been a great experience. The staff are friendly, as well as the piercing staff, especially Becky, who is knowledgeable, really puts you at ease and is always happy to answer questions. I’ve also bought some of my piercing jewellery from here. They have a great range of options, and the piercing staff helped me choose the right styles and sizes for my different piercings with a lot of care.

Fantastic experience: Received two tattoos by Anth and I’ve got to say he was fantastic. I will be going back soon. Very professional, friendly and extremely talented

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely experience at pure ink today. Got my nose pierced by a lady with red hair (soz completely forgot her name) and she was excellent! I came in about half an hour before closing time and she still made sure I had a lovely experience. All the staff seemed very friendly overall. They’ve definitely improved their customer service, though it was never bad at all!

Negative experience: went and did my nose piercing they only have balls and rocks with colors I don't like on my face, e.g., purple green.... couldn't film the process of me being pierced, was disappointed the 2 people at the reception seemed like they can't be bothered with me when I'm waiting after filling in the form, while they're checking between themselves Also, no aftercare explanation. They just let me leave right after the pierce regret buying the after care oil which costed me £7, expensive and not worth it guess why they are cheap but I would advise if you find a better one go to another one. It is the 1st piercing I did in the uk I love my piercing but I can't help to be quite disappointed with the service tbh update : According to the owner, the after care instruction is given in the piercing room but for me it's really not, the only advice is don't get rid of it in 4 months and no filming. Also, when I meant the receptionists talking, not *checking , I meant that couldn't they stop chatting at least in front of the customers that were right in front of them? Isn't that a bit impolite?? never mind. My piercing is healing fine so it's ok.

Fantastic experience: My third visit in 2 months to Pureink 1 yesterday to have another wrist tattoo. I absolutely love what Scott has done for me. Its an extra special tattoo for me as my grandsons names in the tattoo is their handwriting. Scott is excellent. Professional, Friendly, Chatty, makes you feel totally at ease and a brilliant artist. I can't thank him enough. Scott also did the butterfly and Crescent moon on my other arm which was my first visit Kaine did the roses on my second visit. A big shout out to receptionist Adele too for her help

Positive experience: Had my helix pierced here months ago, I thought everything was as okay but overtime i began to get a piercing bump even with to proper aftercare. Today (about 5 months later) I went to get it checked out at a local piercer and I was told i’d been pierced with a 10mm bar and I should’ve downsized my jewellery months ago to a 6mm. When I originally had it done at pure ink, i was told I didn’t need to downsize it…

Positive experience: Had daughter's ears pierced following recommendation from a friend. However there was no choice of what stud you were pierced with and was told the silver ball was the only option. My friend's daughter was able to choose a lovely blue sparkly stud so this was disappointing as she now has the dull silver stud for 6 weeks. Premises were clean and service quick and efficient but very little explanation of what to do for aftercare apart from saying buy solution from reception.

Fantastic experience: Kaine is a very talented tattoo artist, I went for my first here and I will definitely be coming back here for another from him. The receptionist also made the process very straight forward which I appreciate a lot.

Positive experience: my tattoo is looking really good i’m very pleased with it. the lady at the front desk was very kind and offered to take photos of my stencil so i could see it as i got it behind my ear. however my boyfriends was spelt wrong, may have been our accents also it was also our fault for not checking. all in all a good laugh luckily.

Negative experience: Please don’t get piercings here. I’ve been to pure ink 3 times to get pierced in the past. Every time I went back I tried to tell myself they weren’t as bad as people said they were because I didn’t have the money to pay for decent piercings but their piercings are cheap for a reason. The blonde woman doesn’t have a good attitude and I didn’t feel comfortable with her to be frank. The other people seem quite nice but have never done a good job with mine or my friend’s piercings. I got my septum done here a little over a year ago and it was still hurting a year after they pierced it to the point I had to remove it. My eyebrow rejected within a month even after I downsized. My friend got her bridge done here and it was pierced so wrong that her nose was oozing. She went to a different place and they told her people come to their place to get their piercings fixed from pure ink all of the time. Not to mention how they vape at the counter, I vape myself and I couldn’t even imagine doing it in a job like that because that is so unsanitary. I can’t comment on the tattoos they do here because I have never gotten one myself but I wouldn’t recommend getting tattoos if they’re literally vaping at the counter. Please dont get piercings here. These people should not be in business.

I had to go to another piercer a few days later to swap the bar for a bigger one so I could flip it up to hide it and she even said how perfectly positioned the piercing had been done So glad I went here and got pierced by Carmen!
