Fantastic experience: I got the 2 for 64 piercing deal yesterday. I went around 6 and it was super busy. It’s near UT so a lot of younger individuals. The jewelry selection had a large variety and the people working there were super nice. I’m trying to rebuild my piercings again so I’ll probably go back and get the 2 for 64 deal which is available Tuesday Wednesday Thursdays. I love my results and am so happy I went.

Fantastic experience: I got my back dermals done a couple weeks ago by Drew who did amazing! He told me what he was doing throughout the whole process and told me how to take care of my piercings during the healing period.

Negative experience: i got a helix done here and they gave me a short bar with a butterfly backing, along with a anti eyebrow with a curved bar. if i would’ve known they didnt have the proper jewelry i wouldn’t have came. money wasted.

Negative experience: partner got a mouth piercing here, the bars were WAY too short and embedded into his cheeks. Went in to get it fixed and was told the bars were the longest they had, there was nothing they could do, that the nesting and pain were normal, and to come in another time for them to look at it. Went to a different piercing place instead to get it looked at and was immediately told the bars WERE in fact way too short, and was offered immediate help with custom jewelry rather than waiting for prebuilt bars. Do NOT go here, they will NOT take you seriously if you have a legitimate problem.

Negative experience: I got the surface of my stomach pierced instead of my naval itself dude with long greasy hair did it too #die

Negative experience: Possibly not the most knowledgeable shop. It’s weird that they offer hoop style jewelry for helixes, and they should not have the default for helix piercings as a butterfly back. On their website it shows that flat backs are the default when shopping for helix jewelry, so I’m not sure why they pierced me with a butterfly back. Raul was a great piercer and very kind!

Fantastic experience: Came here for my piercing 2 weeks ago, love my results. Darren did a really good job. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable. He recommended I get curved jewelry based on my anatomy, which I feel like was the best choice because I’ve had this piercing before but with different jewelry and they healed horribly. 10/10 experience!!

Negative experience: $100 TOW BOOT WHEN YOU PARK. DO NOT PARK ANYWHERE I MEAN ANYWHERE EXCEPT IN FRONT OF THE TATOO SHOP. YOU WILL BE BOOTED AND THE DUDE WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE UNTIL YOU PAY HIM $100 DOLLARS. They actually booted two of our cars during our piercing here. That's an additional $200 piercing cost. Very expensive. I would recommend that the tattoo shop take more responsibility for what is happening here. ---- The piercing folks were pleasant. But the overall experience was not great.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this shop for their piercer, Darren, for 10 years. Darren is the best piercer I have ever had! He is always kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He takes his time explaining the process and puts great care into making sure the piercing placement looked good (none of my piercingsfrom him were ever crooked). He also always double checks if I like my placement. He never ever makes me feel uncomfortable or scared to ask questions. I recommend him to everyone I meet. If you're a woman, POC, queer, a first timer, or just nervous from previous bad experiences I would 110% recommend going to Darren for your next piercing!

Negative experience: I came here for 3 piercings and one was crooked, one was too high, and the other one got infected. I had to take all of them out. I ended up learning later that I didn't have the right anatomy for the piercing and the piercer just didn't tell me. They also used butterfly backs for my helix, not flatback, which is way worse apparently.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Darren for my piercings for literal years now. He just has a way to make you comfortable even with the inevitable nerve wracking situation of having a needle jabbed thru your body. He makes you feel like it's not even a big deal and talks with you every step of the way. One time, a piercer had messed up and this dude, bc he wanted my business, decided to fix someone else's mistake, free of charge. I couldn't recommend him any more and PI for making the brilliant decision to hire this man

He's pierced my husband and I more than a dozen times and everytime is as comfortable and soothing as the last. Fantastic experience: I came in originally to get a rook and helix piercing. Wait wasn’t too long—I came in at opening, but since it was a Sunday, there was already a wait for the $24/piercing deal. It moves quick though, and I was helped after around 30 minutes. Raul was super lovely about taking a look explaining how my ear anatomy wouldn’t be the best for a rook. He was super patient in suggesting alternatives and answering my questions, which I really appreciated. The whole process was incredibly clean and quick—I’d definitely come back!

Fantastic experience: The only place I'll ever go for piercings, Ive gotten 10 here this year alone, the piercers (I believe I've had a different one every time) are always amazing, super funny and chill to talk to, it's quick and easy and significantly cheaper than other places, you can always trust their professional opinion on placement and healing, I recommend going on a Tuesday-thursday because it's cheaper than normal but not so cheap that its super busy like on Sundays. They have a great assortment of jewelry for the days you don't need any new body mods but need some more pizzazz (and I believe you can order jewelry online if you don't wanna go in person, could be wrong tho), I recommend them to everyone I know who wants piercings and I appreciate them so much for the confidence boost I've gotten since the first experience.

Negative experience: Honestly this place looked very clean I loved the vibes, but I went to get my septum done the other week and it was pierced totally wrong. I’m no piercer but I could tell it was pierced way to low and super slanted honestly waste of money :( I even had high hopes for this place. Don’t fall for the cheap prices and read the other reviews.

They use high quality, titanium, internally threaded jewelry for piercings. They also have a huge collection of ear studs and other jewelry. I will be returning for all future piercings.

Drew done my piercing. He made sure everything was sterile. the piercing was quick and painless. He talked me through the process, gave me detailed information, on how to clean the piercing site and what to expect while healing. Drew was patient and informative with all my questions. Negative experience: Piercings are cheap for a reason. I went this past weekend with a couple friends - there was a very long wait for walk ins but we didn’t mind. I think the deal is Sundays 2 piercings for less than $60 which is a steal. My two friends and I went at the same time and the piercer wasn’t very talkative or friendly just asked who was first, marked placement, had us confirm and then bam pierced and onto the next.There wasn’t any offering of different jewelry or aftercare talk. It very much felt like we were just products on an assembly line lol. We were literally done within 15 minutes after waiting like an hour and a half. 3 days later the ball of my lip piercing fell off randomly throughout the day and I was hesitant to come back. Instead I went to Diablo Rojo (who I’d gotten an eyebrow piercing at over a year ago) and although they’re considerably more expensive they also have MUCH more options as far as jewelry goes, they’re upfront with costs the whole way through, and the piercer actually SPOKE TO ME (shocking right?) and spent several minutes going over the healing process and timeline for coming back and sizing down and eventually switching to rings ect. and I felt like I wasn’t bothersome by asking questions. I won’t be coming back even if it’s a good deal, going to Diablo Rojo reminded me what a good piercing experience is supposed to be like AND I got way cuter jewelry out of it.

Positive experience: gotten several piercings here and theyve all been good experiences! the deals can’t be beat. only bad part is the parking, there are very few spots and nearby lots will tow you

Negative experience: Do not go here. The prices may be enticing but it’s ultimately not worth it. I got my Industrial and Helix and the helix healed in a year and my industrial is still not healed 2 years later. I have many piercings and this was a bad decision on my part.

Fantastic experience: Darren was awesome! I was so nervous about getting my naval piercing as I’ve done it twice before and both previous experiences were so painful. Darren made the whole process painless and crazy quick! Thanks Darren!

Negative experience: I came here twice in 2019 on one of their discount piercings days. Waited about an hour to get in, which considering the crowd actually did make sense. The guy at the desk was pretty rude though. Got in and out of the room in about 2 minutes and immediately another client walked in. There is NO way tools were being properly sterilized with turnaround that fast. Both of my piercings (eyebrow and lip) got severely infected. I’m stubborn so I took care of them until they healed. Took over a year for both to stop having constant infections and actually heal. When I did eventually heal and swap my jewelry, I tested what they had put in my face and it was absolute junk metal (although they will TELL you that they ONLY pierce with titanium, that is 100% not true), so my infections were likely directly related to the shit jewelry they used, as well as poor sterilization. I’ve had over 30 professional piercings before I came here, never had even a tiny issue with any of them, but BOTH of the ones from platinum were messed up. I should’ve known better from my first experience to not come back a second time, but I was going through some stuff and just wanted the discounted price. Really got what I paid for, which was a cheap, bad piercing with cheap, bad jewelry. Coming back to finally leave a review after hearing recently from multiple people about their own messed up piercings here, and want to try to help people avoid going through what so many other people have dealt with. Go up the road to Atomic, it costs a little more but they are more professional, have better sterilization and sanitation standards, better jewelry, and kinder more experienced staff.

Positive experience: I've always had great experiences with the piercers here. The piercers are very friendly and the space is always clean even when they're taking 10 people per hour. I've gotten two helixes and 1 naval during their Sunday promos, and while most of my piercings here were great, one of my helixes got infected despite me applying the same solution to the rest of my piercings which healed fine. I took out the piercing and let it heal around 9 months and then got it re-pierced while up in Dallas. Turns out the original helix was going through a major blood vessel in the ear, which caused it to heal weird. The new piercing has been healing great, so if you do have any issues while healing, don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

Negative experience: Got my seconds and helix pierced here mid September. They were both bothering me up until January, super sore, red, and itchy. My helix was not progressing in healing AT ALL even though I took very good care of it, it would literally hurt to the touch. I went to go get it checked out at my local tattoo and piercing shop. The guy told me that my helix was pierced completely wrong, it was pierced at a downwards angle instead of straight. Had to take it out. Fantastic experience: I got my snake bites done about 6 months ago and it was the best decision ever . I can't remember the guy that did them but he was really cool and he made it pretty easy and quick !! Im hoping to go back soon to get more face piercing 10/10 recommend

Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience. I got a naval piercing and it was pierced so wrong literally placed above the belly button. I just realized it was pierced wrong (got it a month ago) and the jewelry is rejecting and very painful. DO NOT COME HERE. I want a refund. Also they ask for payment in advance rather than after which is odd.

Fantastic experience: Took my son and daughter in to get their ears pierced and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The guys up front were so kind, friendly, and very helpful. Our piercer was Raul and he was great! Took his time, talked to them, and made them both feel comfortable. He answered all of my questions and provided us specific aftercare instructions. Highly recommend Platinum and getting your piercing done with Raul!
