Just in that time, I’ve been able to see the progress he’s made with his artwork and that itself has been a beautiful thing to see. He’s always been good, but now he’s the absolute GOAT. He is by far the best artist I’ve ever worked with. The photos I’m sharing in this post are just a few of the beautiful additions on a piece we’ve been working on over the last year. Fantastic experience: Ok. *Rolls Up Sleeves* I went to Atomic Tattoo on a really important day for me and I could not have been more blown away by Mia, who helped me get my first piercing. She had an incredible warm and inviting personality - overall just infectious. I felt like we vibed really well from the get go, as if we have known each other for years. Even my boyfriend talked to me afterward about how great she was! She answered my plethora of questions about what I wanted, how I wanted it to look, healing process, etc. She then took her time to show me various studs in a way that felt very calm, no rushed, and zero sales push. She walked me through extensively what to expect and made sure I was very comfortable with getting the piercing in the first place, prepping the spot to pierce, the healing process, and even get her experienced advice on where the piercing would be best based on what I wanted to wear long term. And my goodness, 1/10 for pain of the piercing. What a way to top of the night! She also gave me her instagram so that I can ask future questions! Last but not least, there are places and people that are not always welcoming to the LGBT+ Community. My boyfriend and I felt incredibly safe and welcome in the environment she created. We really do wanna thank you for providing the best piercing experience I could have asked for on a special day for me.

Fantastic experience: The team at Atomic Tattoo is great. Seven of us came in with the idea of super small matching tattoos, and Shank and Mark took care of us with patience and kindness. Shank listened to our preferences and concerns and even suggested ways we can place the tattoo so it was not readily visible if you didn't want to show it. Mark worked with us to find good placement options and the perfect tattoo option for our needs. And the team at Atomic played by the rules. Even the "but I'm the parent" didn't get us out of the ID requirement for those in the group (so bring your ID) and Shank and Mark were meticulous about cleanliness and care. Whether you’re after a subtle “one-and-done” or a bold statement piece, you should check them out!

Fantastic experience: Went there yesterday for a stuck Daith clicker removal and Cameron was absolute best! He was so patient and quick and knew exactly what would run in a client’s mind while getting a removal done. He definitely knows his shit and is your guy if you are planning to get a piercing for yourself! Great place, vibes and people.

Positive experience: I came in around 5 PM mid week about a month ago and everyone was kind and professional, which I appreciated. There was a bit of a wait for the piercer, but nothing unreasonable. I visited to have three piercings reinserted that had only been out for about a week due to my job—they had not closed. I was charged $30, which I initially accepted, but after visiting a few other reputable shops around Austin, I realized I was extremely overcharged. Every other place charged $10 total (or even did it for free with jewelry purchase), so $30 felt excessive in comparison. While the service was okay, the pricing just doesn’t match the standard I’ve experienced elsewhere. I would recommend checking around before coming here for jewelry reinsertion.(it was a tragus, a rook, and a conch)

Fantastic experience: I’m currently planning my tenth tattoo with Bruno — yeah, tenth — and I honestly can’t imagine getting tattooed by anyone else. He’s been my artist since day one. He did a half sleeve for me starting from my hand and working up the arm, and now we’re moving to the outer upper arm to continue the piece. On top of that, we’ve done a bunch of smaller, fun tattoos on my left arm. Every single one of them has healed perfectly — even the ones I’ve had for years. Not once have I had a problem or concern. The quality of his work, the precision, and the care he puts into every session — it’s just way above standard. The experience, the atmosphere, the end result… it’s all worth it, every time. Fantastic experience: I reached out to Bruno regarding an idea I had for a back tattoo and he happily took on the project. I showed him only a few examples of what I was looking for and he managed to create a beautiful design that is better than I could have ever wished for! Underneath one of the vultures is a very dark tattoo and at this point you can hardly tell it was there. He did a great job covering it up. He has been a pleasure to work with, extremely professional, his workspace is very clean, and of course he has provided me with an amazing tattoo!! We are halfway done, but I am really looking forward to the final product. I definitely recommend working with Bruno.

Fantastic experience: My Daughter has scoliosis surgery when she was young and a very large scar remained on her back, which she was never comfortable with. When she turned 18 she decided she wanted a tattoo to cover it. We researched, read reviews and decided Bruno Araujo at Atomic was out Artist. She was terrified, I was terrified as no one in our family has tattoos and we were not familiar with the process. Looking back, I honestly cannot imagine doing this with anybody else. Bruno just has a very calm, and peaceful spirit but he also has a quiet confidence where your nerves are just really quelled as you realize he is extremely talented at his craft and just has solid character. My daughter and I both left the consultation feeling so much better about all the unknown that lay ahead and even excited for the experience. Up until the very day of lol. Our nerves again got the better of us as we walked into the shop. But again Bruno just immediately clocked our nerves I'm sure and again just eased our fear in the most natural ways just being himself. The intricacies of her scar did not make for an easy design. But he managed to design what she wanted with every single curve and line of her scar in mind. I was astounded at how much craft and care went into this design. The whole tattoo process he remained easygoing, upbeat & happy and a consummate professional. He reassured my daughter when she needed it, was just so patient with us. I never felt like he was rushing through the process. Her piece turned out STUNNING. Vivid, unique and flawless. The entire experience and the end result far exceeded both my daughter and my own expectations. If it's you that's wanting a tattoo, your girlfriend/boyfriend, Mom, best friend whoever... I absolutely promise you that you are safe trusting your most beloved people and their or your own vision in his hands.

Fantastic experience: I shared a concept with Bruno for a seaplane surrounded by palm fronds to start a leg sleeve and he embellished and made it more than I could have imagined while staying true to my style and design ideas. He’s very easy to collaborate with and prioritizes my happiness with the end product and respects the fact that I am an artist who uses other mediums and uses his skills to help me make what I am envisioning a reality. He is a great vibe, meticulous artist, has a light hand, is very focused on cleanliness and aftercare, and his lines are fire! So happy to have found him.

Fantastic experience: This place had been amazing, came here 4 year ago for a lil flash art and still looks great today! Recently just came in for a walk in and was helped out right away by Bruno. He took his time off to fit me in and get my leg sleeve done in just two days!! Everyone in the shop was super nice during my tattoo and came to check out the piece. I had such an amazing experience with the piercer Cassie, (@needlesbynoodles on instagram) I was treated with so much respect, and my anatomy was assessed to make sure I received the best possible piercings for me. I had Cassie do forward nostrils on me, she absolutely nailed them both. I was so comfortable and so confident in her work. I am more than impressed, I am ASTONISHED! Come see Cassie, she knows what she is doing!

Negative experience: Really disappointed, it’s been a little bit since I’ve gotten my tattoo but it is so badly done. The lines are so messy and uneven, there are lines that are missing on some wings, so nothing looks symmetrical, the antennas are messy, and one side is completely thicker than the other one. I would avoid walking in here.

Fantastic experience: Great experience here with Torrey for my first tattoo! She was wonderful to work with for designing what I wanted. I want to shout out the folks working at the desks who helped me find another atomic location with artists available so I could get a walk in consult without waiting as long. I also really appreciated the piercer at the first location I went to who used a taper to help get new jewelry into what I thought were closed piercings. It was great to save on the cost of a new piercing, but more than that she was so nice and gentle, and I will definitely go back for any further piercings I do want!

Fantastic experience: Every time I come here to get my piercings it’s always amazing ! They walk me through step by step and are super communicative.

Negative experience: For starters, this location was the first ever shop I stepped into to get ANY kind of art/work done. I wanted to start with ear lobe piercings, got them pierced with a decent set they gave me, for around $80, which is reasonable for the first time. About a month later, I came back after accidentally ripping the backing off of the piercing on a pillow, totally my fault. They told me I could buy a new pair of backings, which I did, and while I was there I decided to buy a bigger stud than what they initially gave me, ended up being $90. Fast forward to now, I had an incident today where my new piercing got sucked up into my left ear and pulled through. I went to a different shop, where they told me it was the complete wrong type of jewelry to use for basic lobe jewelry, and that is why it pulled through. They took out my old bloody stud, put a placeholder in, and gave me a free set all for no charge. All in all, I spent $170 at Atomic, just to be screwed over, and have to swap my jewelry because I paid a hefty price tag for what I thought was quality studs. Do not do business with this shop. They take advantage of the people who walk through their doors.

Met him last year for my daughter's Helix piercing and came back again for our nose piercings. Definitely coming back again for all future piercings!!! Thanks again Roshi... The artists are great there to.. I've worked with Mark a few times.. Cool ass vibes!!

Positive experience: Nice knowledgeable staff gave me. Good recommendations. did not try to sell me some high price jewelry that I didn't need. He actually helped Pick something out on Amazon, and he just said, "Bring it in, and I'll insert it for 10 bucks." Honestly, I was thinking about this is gonna cost me 30 or $40. So to be honest, I already have a piercing, but the jewelry in it is too small. I was looking to upgrade the gauge, and they actually did not have that in stock, but he helped me find it. Negative experience: I’ve had several tattoos done at this location in years past, and it was always a positive experience. Sadly, the staff currently working this past Sunday thought it was funny to joke, in grotesque detail, about eating babies right in front of my mother, who was there getting her first tattoo, and myself as I held my newborn baby. It was deplorable and unprofessional. We had no personal relationship or prior conversation that would have warranted any of them thinking that was an acceptable topic of convo to banter about in present company. Super disappointing and will 100% be the reason I won’t be returning to that location for future work done.

Fantastic experience: Came in tonight as walk-ins for my mom to get ear lobe piercings, and for me to get a double helix piercing. Neither of us have tattoos, and this was my mom's first time getting her ears done since she was 6 (as a 50-something mom of 5) and probably her first time ever in a tattoo shop - but she came because I told her it would be so much better than a piercing gun! Including all of those details to highlight that we were both a little worried we might be out of place, but especially my mom. From check in to the end, everyone here was SO NICE. The place is nice and very, very clean. There were a couple of their artists up front, and although I failed to get their names, they were lovely as well. Our piercer, Kieran, was great about explaining everything to us thoroughly, working with both of us on perfect positioning for our piercings, talking through any nerves.. and was so, so friendly the whole time. We're both thrilled with how everything turned out. 10/10, and I'll be back for my next one! Thanks Kieran and Atomic team :)

Fantastic experience: So, let me say, I'm not Collie's normal client, as he really likes a different vibe!! He is more about the dark and sulky side and I'm pinks and purples with whimsy! But, with a twist of fate I ended up on his table. His candor and raw honesty is very, VERY refreshing. Collie was committed to ensuring that he tattooed exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it!! He made a custom shade of magenta for me just because I wanted it! He was patient and understanding when I was having a hard time with my final decisions. It was a wonderful experience! The piercer was also very sweet and very kind to everyone who came in (including me). I'll for sure visit her when I am ready for my nose to be re-done!!

Positive experience: My daughter 16 had been here twice to try and get her ears pierced she was quoted a price. 1st time she needed an adult and birth certificate which is fine so she came back with my wife but the but the piercer was out sick. They came back today and I just happened to be with them. She got her ears pierced and she went to pay and it was $40 more than she was quoted. The piercer said the sittings were included. She paid but felt taken advantage of. When asked they said this piercer only uses better jewelry and they charged her extra for that. So they didn’t honor what she was quoted and didn’t seem to care. That sort of thing just leaves a bad taste. They did do a good job with the piercing.

Fantastic experience: ✨Lee is a badass! What a fantastic, water-color expert tattoo artist. He used his own interesting and fun technique to make the water color very organic and smooth. He actually worked on a previous tattoo I had, and he brought a whole new life to it. If you want amazing watercolor, come to atomic on duval and talk to LEE. ✨

Fantastic experience: My friend and I went to this Atomic for our tongue piercings, and we both LOVED how they came out, especially getting them done by Raynan. Not only was the environment super chill, clean, and comfortable, but ray and was such a sweet piercer. She talked us through every step of the way, was VERY patient, and assured us the pain would be minimal. It was! We were super nervous about it, but both walked out feeling very excited about our new piercings. We even came back the next day to bring our friend. I would recommend this location as I’ve gotten my nose, belly, and tongue from here & they have healed super well. Great staff!

Fantastic experience: I visited this store today to get a nose piercing, this was my first time getting a professional piercing so I was really nervous. Roshi made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole visit. The process was very fast, and simple. The whole thing was over in a matter of 10 minutes, including set up, piercing and payment. If I ever decide to get another piercing I will be coming back here and asking for him again!

Fantastic experience: Dude. This. Place. Is. A. Lifesaver. I had an embedded earring, panicked a lot, and I was about to go to the ER. My friend said that they might be able to help me get it out, so we called. They said that they could help and so later that day we went over. It was my first piercing, so I was incredibly nervous. The man told me to lay on the table and he looked at it. He poked it once, and I flinched due to the pain. He said he had to POP IT OUT. I was freaking out, but I trusted him. He did it so easily. No mess-ups, nothing. He said, "It's done," I was like, "What?? Already???" If you've had acne, this is nothing. Coming back in the future to get some tatts!!! Thanks!

A very upbeat person, and informed me on how to take care of them. he did such an amazing job and they healed perfectly. if you are looking to get any piercings at Atomic Tattoo, I highly recommend to check him out.:) as well as yoshi, I’ve gotten my angel fangs and septum done by him, and they look amazing. He puts the cleaning solution on that’s mixed with Lavender and it’s super calming and relaxing. I am so happy with the results and I’m so thankful for him..

I called ahead of time to make sure they took walk-ins and when I came in, Brian was very quick to see me. He explained the dangers of this piercing to make sure I knew what I was getting. Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been tattooed at Atomic many times and always had a great experience. It's always very clean, everyone is friendly and overall we've always enjoyed getting tattooed here. Today we brought our teenage son in to get his first piercing, his ear. I called before and to verify what my husband I would need to bring for our son to get it done. They needed his birth certificate and ID. Brian was his piercer and he was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, talked my son through his first piercing each step of the way, was funny and just truly genuine. We would absolutely book to get pierced by him again and highly recommend him. Fantastic experience: Got a rook piercing by Roshi. Friend got her Medusa done and another friend got second lobe piercings. Had a great experience and all are healing great! Roshi is hilarious and always a fun but calm person to work with.

Positive experience: Great place, clean, friendly artist. A little pricey, i think. Paid 250 for my tat. My friend went with me and she paid 450 for her butterflies. I will be looking for better prices somewhere else. But they did do a good job.

Fantastic experience: Really chill place, while waiting we could pick whatever we wanted to watch on the tv in the waiting area. Just got the lines for my first tattoo there tonight! Came out perfectly thanks to the handiwork of Jorge Aguilar, who was a super cool guy and made the experience way better than I could have ever expected. Can't wait to get it finished in a month!

Fantastic experience: I loved this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Collie did was my tattoo artist and he was so helpful in deciding the best placement. I don’t know a lot about tattoos so it was really great to have someone take the time to talk me through the pros and cons of the placement I originally wanted. I love how the tattoo turned out and love the placement he suggested. He took his time, was clean, and friendly. I will definitely go back in the future.

Fantastic experience: I called and went to many tattoo parlors for a wedding ring tattoo. Atomic was the only place that said "no problem" They informed me it may not come out right but respected my choice to get it anyway. And my artist, Collie, did a marvelous job. He had a light hand and it didn't hurt at all! He drew the perfect ring for me and I've been complimented every day for an awesome tat! Thanks Collie, thanks Atomic!

Fantastic experience: Ever since it’s opening, Atomic Tattoo has been a staple in the Austin art, music and creative scene. Quite a few of Texas’s top artists and piercers have their roots planted in these walls and it’s sistering locations spread out through the Austin area! Walking in this time, it was unremarkable to see how much effort and quality work they put into this amazing renovation of the entire shop. these people pride themselves in their abilities, cleanliness and dedication to provide the best outcome for whatever it is you may be looking for. i’ve been coming in since my 18th birthday and even after seeing a lot of other good shops, this is still always my go-to location. if you’re looking for an experience you won’t forget, look no further. Everyone is there to help one another and make sure everyone is amazed by the final result. I’d like to consider these people my friends first and tattooists second. a honorable mention definitely being Brian, who didn’t even think to charge me for an adjustment for my nose stud when i came in. other shops want another $25 to fix what they should’ve done in the first place but the kicker was is i got the piercing at completely different studio unrelated to Atomic. These folks are really there to help and assure quality, sanitation of their tools, environment and workmanship provided to each of their guests. Will definitely be going back soon for the craving of some awesome new ink!

Negative experience: Turn out, the first impression can be wrong. The recommended tattoo artist never responded to my inquiry. The two that were present at the shop when I stop by the second time to try my luck said that they can't do the image I wanted cos its not their stile. Sad for them and will never be back.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience here. Last year I went to a shop in SATX where I live for dimple piercings and had a horrible experience. I ended up taking them out after a week and spent 7 months searching for a new shop. My friend who lives in Austin recommended this shop and it was 10x better overall communication and work ethic. Bryan was my piercer and took his time to make sure the were aligned correctly and where I wanted them to be. I love my piercings 10/10 highly recommend this shop.

Fantastic experience: Danoski help my sister and I turn or tattoo dream into a reality, super realistic, adding such depth and character to a 2-d image. His shading technique is amazing and was very considerate about the level of discomfort of getting a tattoo and waiting till you feel up to continue. Next time I come to Austin I'm gonna schedule another tattoo with him.

Negative experience: I went in last night (friday) and asked if i can get a tattoo behind my ear and the girl at the front was really nice and said sure. She started asking every single tattoo artist that was there if they would tattoo me (they were not busy at all may i add) and every single one of them said they didnt want to tattoo me...with no reason why they wouldnt...we left. The girl told me to go 2 another location of theirs and sumone will do it there. I chose not to go cause i thought that was unproffesional and rude. Try other tattoo parlors and dont waste your time at Atomic Tattoo
