Fantastic experience: Gotten some piercings here, M.J. and Raynan are the two that have helped me when I’ve gone and they are the most educated professionals I have ever had the pleasure of talking with! Very very sweet and know their stuff! I will ALWAYS go here now!

Fantastic experience: Went to the Atomic Tattoo on Burnet and had a great experience. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and funny. Mike Pain did my tattoo and did an awesome job. Had me laughing the whole time. Got me in and out with no hassle! Fair price too!

Fantastic experience: Angela was easy to work with picking out new jewelry and even put in my tragus jewelry for me for free with purchase!! I gotta say that's hard to find these days! Most shops charge 5-10$ to put in piercings even if you purchase it from them but these guys rock she was fast and made sure I had a long enough bar for extra room Def will be back

Negative experience: I'm sorry but I have to change my review and lower the star. I want a new nose piece but don't believe that will happen here. I finally replaced my stud which never gave an issue. I got a nose ring and after a week it was messing with my skin badly bc it was too small. It wasn't the one I chose but she said it was the right one. I go back a week later and get a new piece- not a ring, and of course I had to pay for price. She bends it once and I don't have a big nose. Every other nose piece I've seen in a friend was bent twice- three pieces and it stays in place. My piece didn't stay in after only being bent once and after being been a second time it doesn't work bc one part of it is longer so it's always hitting my septum. I'm not paying again though I always tipped and was not happy. I felt a bit like I was being made fun of the first time but the was mild. There wasn't much talk or advice and I've been unhappy each time. I'm not sure why angela didn't bend it properly to begin with but I'll probably just take it out and be done with all this. Reply to owner, kind of an odd thing to say. It would have been fine if if were bent in thirds the first time just like I've seen other people have. And if I had been given proper advice.

Negative experience: Don’t get a tattoo during Friday 13th or any flash sales they rushed my tattoo charged me 180 and it turned out mediocre !!

Fantastic experience: Sarah was amazing!! She made me so comfortable and was so easy to get a piercing with!! I would definitely go to see her for all piercings!!!

Negative experience: Got a couple tattoos done by an artist that no longer works there, honestly thank God because she deserves better. I walked in (had never been there before) and the manager? owner? I guess was yapping to an older couple and didn’t even look at me let alone offer to help me. Everyone was just uncomfortably staring at me instead of helping me so I texted my artist to come get me up at the front and everything else was fine but the place is really filthy and made me uncomfortable to get tattooed there…won’t be coming back there.

Fantastic experience: I had the most awesome experience here! I had my piercings changed out by Rainin (I think that’s how u spell it) and it was quick and painless! Rainin is also super sweet and I had a wonderful conversation with them about barnacles :D 10/10 will definitely return!!

Fantastic experience: Got a septum piercing here; the service was great! I didn't catch the name of my piercer but she was extremely friendly and informative. The piercing process was smooth and quick, and seems to have been done accurately.

Fantastic experience: I’d been dragging my feet on a helix piercing for about 5 years, and when I ran into an issue with my original appointment at Rowan, I almost took it as a sign to bail. I’ll admit the idea of getting a piercing at a “tattoo shop” felt a bit intimidating to me, but when I walked into Atomic, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and aesthetic the store is. Angela was available to do my piercing as a walk-in, and she was incredibly welcoming, reassuring, and patient. Super happy with my piercing and very grateful to Angela for making it such a quick and easy process. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next!

I came in as a walk in, not expecting much beyond a consult or maybe a quick piece, but Mike was available and completely blew me away. His artistry is next level. He brought a unique vision to the design and made sure it was something that I was going to love. Fantastic experience: I went in on Sunday to get my nose pierced and a small tattoo. The whole atmosphere was fantastic! My nose was quick and easy with just an eye watering. I wanted to get some finger tats, but Mike wouldn’t do it because he said they just don’t do well over time, I really appreciated his honesty and told me everything I needed about him being a fantastic artist. So I went with my other tat. Mike gave me a tattoo and was so soft handed! We just vibed! I may brave getting my back finished because of his delicate touch! Haha… but I am for sure going back to have him design another tattoo for me that I have thinking about for years! Clean, friendly and just great service for a walk in! This is the place you gonna go for your piercings and tattoos! Oh and it was the Burnet location! Thanks guys!!

Fantastic experience: Came in as a walk in for a daith piercing. I had a migraine for weeks and heard a daith piercing could help. MJ did my piercings and was wonderful. I felt so comfortable with her and she made it an easy process. The daith piercing was worth it, migraine gone! She was so cool I decided to throw on a tragus piercing at the same time. Thank you for a great piercing experience.

Negative experience: Went in for my first tattoo on burnet rd location and was convinced to get one after I was already nervous to get my first one . Just got the tattoo to start peeling and come off completely. I did everything as far as the healing process . It looked good after it was finished but now it’s peeling to the point it’s coming off it’s like he did not go deep enough but the was it was hurting I would of thought it was deep enough. The artist who did it was nice but I’m sorry I can never go here again now I have to get it touched up somewhere else smh oh and shop minimum was $100 that’s how much the cost of this was !

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to piercer Raynan!!! This is personally one of my favorite Atomic locations in general. I got a daith piercing here years ago and it healed perfectly. I recently had to undergo a surgery and needed to remove all my piercings. I was concerned with my daith piercing (although it's over 6 years old) closing on me. Raynan suggested I use a retainer to keep my hole open and still be safe for surgery. She easily and professionally helped take out my jewelry and put the retainer in, and swap them back after my surgery. Very sweet and comforting demeanor and extremely knowledgeable in answering all my questions!

Fantastic experience: Got my original sucubus throat tattoo done here a year ago by Kain. Came back for him to add more to it and he didn't disappoint. He's very creative and the tattoo ends up hurting much less than anticipated. Knows what he's doing Glad to have given him creative control. Just told him what I wanted and he exceeds the expectation every time.

Fantastic experience: I took my granddaughter to get her ears pierced for her 9th birthday. I set up and planned this birthday *surprise* with piercer, MJ Mitchell, who said she was honored to be asked to participate in this special day! MJ was TERRIFIC and helped US (my daughter, Sarah & I) to surprise Ella, who was so excited when MJ told her she was there to get her ears pierced! Thank you, Atomic Tattoo, for making this day as special as I had hoped!

Negative experience: I’ve gotten many piercings here with sarah and Angie & Leo. They have always been good to me but this last time I went in to change out the conch piercing jewelry and I was told by some lady that I couldn’t put in hoops. That they would probably give me more trouble but I have had this piercing well over 6 months. And I believe that the reason I was having so much problems was because the jewelry is too long and I do treat my hair so I think the moisture is what was giving me hell. So I picked 2 studs which I really didn’t want and she put long backs on them again!! So not only did I not get what I wanted, she also did not downsize the backs. So I will never go back and if I do it will be the atomic in Pflugerville. I’m really upset and disappointed I spent $300 on something I didn’t want.

She let me choose from a decent dermal selection and installed my dermal piercing and took out my belly piercing extremely fast but gentle she’s amazing pls go see her she has 2 nose piercings and gauges really beautiful lady☺️ also the other lady who greeted me with the green hair had a beautiful spirit 10/10!

Fantastic experience: I got my nipples pierced by Sarah and she was so knowledgeable and accommodating. I was so nervous to get it done so I appreciate her kindness and listening to what I wanted. I was looking for a shop where I felt like the piercers really took pride in their work and used high quality jewelry. I was also comforted by the fact that they have multiple female piercers as some other places I called only had male piercers. I love my piercings and I can’t wait until they’re healed so I can experiment with pretty jewelry. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

He was very responsive and came back to me with some sketches and designs within the week. The whole process was very thorough and I’ll honestly recommend this artist to anyone visiting the Austin area. Fantastic experience: I was a walk-in nose piercing one random night and since Atomic was open that night, I came in to see what was up. I was greeted with humor and professionalism and given all information needed up front. I mentioned to my piercer (Leo) that I have anxiety and was a little nervous but still wanted the nose piercing. They were beyond accommodating and described to a T everything as it was happening to ensure a pleasant experience. They are so precise with their markings, explain what everything means and what they were doing. I won’t lie it was such a good experience I went back the very next day to get my Tragus done that I’ve been wishing on for a while, lol. The second appointment was just as nice. I was told my anatomy was just big enough to accommodate the piercing, but it would be a little rough getting the earring in. I didn’t notice any struggle and before I knew it I had my TWO new piercings. One more thing! I wasn’t careful one day and my Tragus came out when I was drying my head after a shower. I full-blown panicked and contacted Leo. While they weren’t available, they immediately found out who was piercing the next day at Atomic and had gotten me set up to go in the next day to get it put back in sterile. Leo is one for the books!!

Fantastic experience: There's a story but I can condense it for you; Through piercers in town and the power of social media, I was able to work with Leo and got some of the coolest work done, it all healed rather quickly. I live in the San Angelo area, and I would travel that distance again. Follow aftercare tips, and get the recommended products, and you'll be set. Care? Immaculate Humor? Yes Comfort? Fantastic experience: I have 2 daughters, and when my oldest decided she wanted to get her ears pierced, I reached out to Justin Timming, the owner, to do it. I've known him for years, and there's not another person who I'd trust for the job. He was very kind to her and walked her through the whole process. She was a champ and it all went perfectly. When my youngest daughter wanted hers done, her mom took her to one of those stores in the mall and they pierced them extremely unevenly and one was at the very bottom of her left earlobe. Once it healed up, I reached out to Justin again. He once again made time for us, made sure her ear was healed up, and pierced her left ear again, but correctly and evenly this time. I had read years ago that the best place to get your kids ears pierced is at a tattoo shop. They are by far the most experienced, the most sanitary, and the coolest people ever. 10/10 would recommend Atomic Tattoo to anyone and everyone. Thanks again, Justin!

Fantastic experience: Went to the location with a friend for some lip piercings and Patricia was wonderful! Even recommended coming back to redo my bridge piercing for me next time I make my way over. Very informative and knowledgeable about piercings and the risk of rejection with some of them. I got snakebites and they've healed wonderfully! Definitely coming back! ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: i’m visiting from missouri and did a walk in, and staff was AMAZING!!! mike did my tattoo, and made sure it was perfect for me, and just had good conversation the entire way through! i have a tendency to pass out due to adrenaline, but he talked to me the entire time, made sure i was comfortable, and kept me relaxed throughout it all. the best experience i’ve had with any tattoo/piercing so far. 10/10 recommend them, and definitely will be coming back next time i’m in austin!

Fantastic experience: First experience going into Atomic Tattoo was a really good one! My husband and I were walk ins and unsure about anything. In no time at all, we met Raynan and every question was answered quickly and concisely. Raynan reopened one of my lobe piercings and added a brand new Helix piercing! She made my husband and I feel very comfortable and explained everything about the process and the aftercare. We also had a quick consultation with Tyco as I'm considering getting my first tattoo. I was very appreciative that he took time to answer a few of my questions. I've seen his work and he is an excellent artist. Thank you Raynan and Tyco! Fantastic experience: Woke up on a Sunday with the urge to get a new Tat. After several shops that went open and wouldn't answer the phone called Atomic and got a answer immediately. Came in and IG : needsmoreblack helped me put in physical form my idea for my new Tat. These guys are great and I will definitely be back!

Negative experience: Went to get a nose ring changed out and the piercer threw away my previous nose ring which I paid $65-$70 bucks for at their south location. He couldn’t find it after I asked for it back so he gave me the GM’s number. Getting a hold of the GM or any kind of customer service is like pulling teeth. No the service itself was not expensive, however the whole experience felt inconsiderate. Subjective but really bummed I lost a pricey piercing that I wanted to keep.

Negative experience: UPDATE: even in their response to my review they never offered to give me any of my money back or even talk to me on the phone to get details. They’re obviously okay with letting their piercers act like amateurs. Damaged my jewelry, poorly inserted multiple pieces of jewelry that caused damage to my piercings, cut me with their tools, and refused to give me a refund even though I had to replace all of the jewelry I purchased there due to their poor practices. I was given the owner’s number, the owner ignored my messages. Go elsewhere if you want quality piercings and jewelry, I will never trust an Atomic location again.

Fantastic experience: We went to today and worked with Angela, she did a septum for my daughter and a nostril for mine. She was very professional and made us feel comfortable, she is very knowledgeable and quick! We’ll definitely be back!

Negative experience: I have never just walked in some where to get a tattoo so I guess that was my mistake. This was suppose to be- or so I thought, a simple cover up. This is now the worst tattoo I have. Splotches and the lines- well you can see it. And it was 100 dollars!!!! Plus tip! Unbelievable. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one, I just couldn't not.

Fantastic experience: Fixing my prior review as I had said we typically love it and one bad example shouldnt determine if you'd like to give them a try. The owners are very nice and the artists are as well maybe just make sure to communicate fully what you're wanting to the letter and redouble check after that too. All and all a wonderful shop

Fantastic experience: I went in for my first tattoo in the evening without an appointment. The studio was very nice inside and each artist had a small suite for privacy. Cody did a great job and was very patient. The price was half of what I had been previously quoted from other studios. I appreciate that they are open late. I highly recommend them!

Mike helped me through getting a tattoo that matched my others after healing it looks amazing!! Sarah made me feel so comfortable and every follow up she was kind and accommodating and made sure I was healing perfectly. 10/10 recommend.

Positive experience: I bought jewelry at the burnet rd location and also got my nose pierced. Angela did a great job. I had no issues with my nose ring jewelry… but I paid a decent amount for a flat back Tragus earring and a month later two of the 3 stones have fallen out. I attempted to contact them via the website to see if there was a warranty on their jewelry and never got a response. I don’t mind paying for body jewelry I just would expect the quality to be better than what it was.

Negative experience: DO NOT RECOMMEND BURNET LOCATION! Went to the south location two days ago to get a nose piercing and jewelry ended up being too small. Called south location and was told to come to burnet location because they had a piercer on staff and we called burnet to make sure they would be available. We let them know we were coming from Kyle (40 minute drive) and they said as long as we show up before 11 that it would only take a couple minutes. We got here at 10:50 and they said to wait and they said they would get through everyone on the list. The piercer finally came out after about 20 minutes and said they were only taking two more people and that everyone else had to leave even though we made sure to call ahead and make sure that it would be taken care of. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WILL NOT BE BACK. EDIT: Response to owner. No thank you. Will not be returning the service was horrible and wasted 40 minutes getting there and 20 minutes waiting just for them to turn us away. And on top of that had to drive 40 minutes back after calling 3 times to make sure a piercer would be available. WASTE OF TIME. LEFT A LASTING REVIEW.

Getting the actual piercing was a breeze and the worker was so knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly, I even got instructions emailed on after care in the case I forgot anything! And the artist who did mine, Mike Pain, made it a very cool and pleasant experience. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Now I’m looking forward to going back there to get my next one!

Positive experience: I’ve gotten quite a few piercings here and while I think they are generally good technique and sanitation wise the customer service can be a little hit or miss depending on who you interact with when you come in. Let’s just say some people really give off the stereotypical “too cool for school” vibe that is kinda unprofessional. I still like it here though and i would still trust them to do my nose and ear piercings if I had to do it again!

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter to get her eyebrow pierced, they were very informative and walked her through the whole thing. She loves it!!!

Fantastic experience: Randy and Dan did mine and my wife's matching tattoos, both did amazing work yet each had little differences to make them both unique. Love the shop and will be back for more!

Negative experience: My daughter called for a base price for a tattoo and she was told it’s $80 na d ir was going to be an hour and half wait she waited for up to 3 hours and the tattooist tilde it was going to be $150 for 4 words on her rib. What a rip off. Not happy with the service

Fantastic experience: i got my septum done here and i absolutely love it! the girl who did mine was so sweet and chill, made me feel very comfortable. i was a little nervous going in since i was on the younger side but she treated me like any old customer! place was clean and vibe was great. 10/10 :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been wanting to get the right side of my nose repierced for a while now. I was down the street and decided to call and ask if they did walk-ins. I was told they do but that the night piercer called in so if I could make it in within 10 minutes they could squeeze me in. When I arrived, everyone was super cool and friendly. They made me feel very comfortable. I ended up getting two piercings on my right side by MJ. She was super sweet and did an awesome job! She made sure all my nose piercings lined up perfectly! The process did not feel rushed at all & I am super happy with the results! I will definitely be going back when I decide what piercing I want next!

Fantastic experience: Expectations were declining quickly with the lack of customer service over the phone. BUT, Kieran saved the day and was A-MAZ-ING!! So patient, kind, understanding, Professional and informative with the aftercare. Even played some chill music to help calm my nerves. If I ever muster up enough courage for another piercing, I’ll def go see Kieran.

Fantastic experience: My husband went in for a piercing, and I went in for a tattoo. We both came out happy and satisfied. Cody did my tattoo, and he was GREAT. Great customer service and care. He made sure I was happy with everything before he started. Will be going back for my next tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Honestly best place ever to get pierced, especially this location since it’s the one with the widest selection of jewelry. Angela is the best piercer I know in Austin, super nice, clean, fast and gives amazing advice. She’s been unbelievably helpful with all my piercings, never plan on going to anyone else!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here with three piercers. The owner removed my earrings and another put them back in. Angie was able to put my piercings back in even though they were difficult. She also pierced two new piercings for me and did a great job! The posts used ended up being too small so I had to go back and another male piercer helped me and was able to remove them even though the swelling make it extrémalo hard and painful. He fixed me up with longer posts and I’m doing much better. Everyone there was very professional and kind!

Fantastic experience: Had been looking for help with a couple mouth piercings that had been out for awhile and possibly needed to be relieved and also new jewelry. Called ahead (mid-day on a Friday maybe), got confirmation services were available immediately, pricing estimates and jewelry confirmed. Showed up, was seen immediately and the awesome piercer on shift actually only charged me for the jewelry ($15 a piece) and just helped get them in (the original holes hadn't fully closed up so no repierce needed). Also offered to alert me when a specific jewelry would be in stock and to put it aside for me. Super fast, super sweet service as always. Always recommend them but this location was especially memorable.

Fantastic experience: I loved them! Very professional fast easy.. I actually got a nose ring because I wanted a double nose piercing. Welp I put in my own and it got STUCK! I called them up, they were able to get it out in SECONDS! & replaced my other hoop! Now I have 2 double nose piercings & I’m extremely happy about how professional & courteous they were! Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I’m always hesitant about going to new shops, I’ve been in Texas for two years and and finally got my piercings in December. My friend has gotten multiple piercings from Andy and recommended him to me. He did a wonderful job. I was robbed about two weeks after the piercings and the guy ended up ripping out one of my nostril piercings. Andy was so kind and was able to get it back in for me the same night. I don’t have any experiences with anyone else at this shop, but I do plan to get a couple tattoos this year <3
