Negative experience: I had my 17 year old son’s ears pierced here tonight and both are pierced at an angle, one slants up and one slants down! I also thought we would get a choice of earring but did not. So incredibly disappointed. He waited a very long time to have this done. I read reviews and felt confident we could get a good job done but did not. Wanted to add an update. The next day I went back into the chandler shop and spoke to a very nice gentleman in charge he said to take out the piercing right away and wait two weeks to have it redone. We were sent to Gisele at the Gilbert location and she was great! So nice about the whole situation.

Fantastic experience: Eddie and the front desk staff were super friendly and made our tattooing experience completely enjoyable. The shop was full when we arrived but the front desk staff got us checked in promptly and managed our expectations for the wait time. They even offered us their chair to sit in since their lobby was full. When it was our turn, Eddie came up and introduced himself as our tattoo artist, confirmed our choices of flash, and brought us back for the session. Everything at the station was clean, sterile, and positioned comfortably. Our fresh tattoos looked great and the hospitality at Ranger Tattoo was amazing. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Negative experience: Okay, deleted my first review because I felt bad for lying that the service here was 5 stars. Here I am writing an honest review and I feel people should know this because I care deeply about piercings and the healing process. Not for me, but for others too. I got my third lobes pierced 2 months ago here. Didn’t grab my piercer’s name, but she was decent. The part that threw me off was I was given butterfly back earrings, not flat back earrings. Not sure if I had to ask for flat back earrings, but should I even have to? I thought piercers would know not to insert butterfly back jewelry for new piercings. As soon as I got home, I inserted flat back earrings. Yes, you scan a bar code at the end of your service to write a review.

Fantastic experience: Piercing on my 2nds lobes and belly button. The piercer sofia was super helpful and sweet and let me move my placement a million times. Shop was clean and had a good selection of jewelry!! Would def come here again for my other piercings and will for my thirds when my currents heal up!

Fantastic experience: BEST TATTOO EXPERIENCE & AMAZING ARTWORK! Dopa is the best!!! I LOVE my piece i’ve dreamed of this forever he did better than I ever imagined it could be! He had to do a lot of the artwork to match the photo loose sketch make it messy cool artsy. He also color matched the eye to a photo of a person!!!! It was not easy. Dopa is a great person to spend the day with I enjoyed his company in addition to his amazing skills!!! He spent a lot of time working on the image before putting it on my skin to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. That’s all he cared about. I’m so excited to get more work done with Dopa he is an amazing artist with a gentle touch that genuinely cares about you and your experience. He saw I was having a little pain, I did not say anything. He picked up on this and put a spray on my arm that took away the pain! He is the most attentive artist I’ve ever had work on me, very professional and a lot of fun! I am so glad I found him Can’t wait to get more. We’ve all experienced the pretentious tattoo artist there’s none of that here. I spent 3hrs in the chair it felt like 15mins he made it very comfortable. I just got it done last night it’s healing very quickly not painful at all. Looks great!!! Ranger tattoo is exceptionally clean, Professional, friendly - Everyone that works there treat you wonderfully! And they give you jolly ranchers. THANK YOU DOPA & Ranger Tattoo I can’t stop smiling! ROAR!!!!

Negative experience: First off, I want to start by describing the tattoo I got. I walked in around 3-4 pm about 2-3 weeks ago asking for a small fine line wrist tattoo. No bigger than two inches by two inches. It was of two goalkeeper gloves making a heart with the fingers. I looked on the website and it said it was not a minimum shop. So I was thinking maybe 60-70$ for such a simple tattoo. Maybe $80. (I was basing this pricing off a previous tattoo I got at a different tattoo shop, which was bigger and colored, coming to a total of around $120 after tipping.) When I got there, I was quoted 100-110$. Should have been my first red flag. Then, I got seated and showed the artist my design. It took him a couple of times to get the size right, which is pretty normal. Then he gets started. He was nice and we had small talk. This isn't my first tattoo, as previously stated, so I knew what to expect. When I thought he was done, he said he was going to go over the lines again to make them darker. I don't know if that is normal or not but he is the artist and I trusted him. After he was done with he second go around, I looked down and I was very shocked to see how splotchy and uneven the lines were. Some lines were not overlapping, and it reminded me of a kid who couldn't color in between the lines. Some lines are darker than others as well. I was thinking maybe once it healed and I went through the after care process, it would look better, but 2-3 weeks later, it looks just as bad. After tipping, it came to a total of around $140. Then, here comes the best part. The reason I think this shop has such good ratings, is because the desk worker asks every customer to scan a barcode and leave a 5 star rating for their artist. I scanned thr barcode and immediately put my phone away and she asked me if I was done. I lied and said yes since I wasn't necessarily happy with my tattoo, but wanted to wait and see what it looked like once it was healed. If the artist didn't specialize in fine line tattoos, he should have declined instead of ruining what was supposed to be a meaningful tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Jade at the Chandler location repierced my ear lobe after it had closed up, and she was amazing. She was really nice, gentle, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. The piercing was quick and not painful at all, and she explained the aftercare clearly so I knew exactly how to clean it. She also took the time to clean up any blood right away and made sure none of it got on my clothes, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I came in as a walk in for a tragus piercing and was assisted by Sophia. The process was relatively quick, the space was clean, and the piercing was minimally painful. The price was reasonable. I paid $50 for the piercing and standard stud jewelry. This is lower than what other shops are charging, but I felt the quality was still excellent. I love my new piercing and she did a great job making sure I liked the placement. I will return for any other piercings.
