Negative experience: I would give a 0. On site the artist are great but the owner is awful. I bought a gift certificate for my husband and it was a nightmare. It took months to figure out. He didn’t assign it to anyone. When we called to do a consult they assigned my husband to someone. They got it all planned out. As soon as the artist heard it was a gift certificate he said he wouldn’t touch it. The owner is notorious for not giving the money to the artist and assigning it to someone last minute. After a few weeks of asking the owner who was going to be the artist, he finally told us. When my husband tried to get in contact with him to go over ideas, he never got back to him. We basically had to chase them down for a tattoo. It was the night before the apt and we hadn’t received any drawn up ideas or anything. Then the day of they canceled. So we just asked for a refund. The owner said he would do it the next day but it took him 4 days with me messaging him. I feel bad for the artists that have to work there.

Fantastic experience: Yooo go hit up Captan Tattoo n ask for the homie “Jevi”. He is very personable and professional. My guy had in me in n out and his work on the rose he did on my right hand turned out amazing. A small piece dedicated to my beautiful daughter n i couldn’t be happier with it. Ill be back soon for me tats fs

Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere, very professional, friendly and clean. Mark tatted me, my sister and niece today and we all had a great time for just the friday the 13th tats. Hes so professional, friendly and had sick ass art work. Not to mention that line work baby. The ladies in the front as well, top tier customer service 10 of 10. LOVE this shop

Fantastic experience: Officially came in my for third Friday the 13tattoo and I’ve been blown away by the service and quality of work this place has. Jevvy has been an amazing artist that has made us feel like long term clients even though we came in for some simple flash. I was very impressed with how clean the shop is kept as well, despite seeing over a thousand people in a day. Can’t wait for the next event.

Fantastic experience: They were so nice and super helpful when I accidentally lost one of my nostril piercings and I was able to stop by during lunch. They were able to bend the jewelry while there and had a good selection of options available to choose from! Also the wall decoration was super sick and gave me something to look at while waiting as they bent the bars. Will definitely be coming back, whether for a tattoo or another piercing

Fantastic experience: Came in with 2 other girlfriends. We were visiting from out of town and these guys made us feel exactly at home! So friendly and didn’t pressure us at all. Two of my friends got tattooed by Tim and Jevy, extremely talented and patient. They made us feel right at home. I was pierced by Renee who was extremely sweet and professional as an apprentice. Thomas, the shop owner, offered expertise, recommendations, and even gifted saline spray to take home. 100% recommend for an “at home” tattoo shop feel. Thank you guys!

We came in to get Celtic-style ring tattoos, and Jevi and Mark did an incredible job. They knocked them out quickly, with super clean lines and flawless detail. Everyone there was professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is laid-back but also really well put together—you can tell they take pride in keeping the shop clean, inviting, and top-notch in every way. The owner deserves special mention as well. You can see how much he cares about his shop, his customers, and his employees. That kind of leadership creates the kind of environment where the artists can do their best work, and it really shows. My wife and I have already scheduled our next tattoo sessions, and we know this will be our go-to shop for years to come.

Fantastic experience: I came in with two piercings that had been stuck in my ears for a long time and couldn’t get them out myself. Lilly took care of it so quickly and gently, and to my surprise, she didn’t even charge me. She was professional, kind, and made me feel completely at ease. The shop itself was super clean and had a really chill vibe, which made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find someone in this industry who shows that much genuine care just to help someone out. I’m so grateful I found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for piercings or tattoos!

The artist I normally use is no longer there. I had the pleasure of working with Steven. He did a great job on a wrist tattoo. He also brightened up one of my older tattoos. I will always return to Captain Tattoo Art Collective and use Steven for any future tattoos. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Positive experience: Good environment! I went in to get my septum but unfortunately it was pierced crooked, and it uneven on my nose, and I think it’s too low too since it’s right up against the edge of the soft tissue on the bottom

Fantastic experience: Came in to get both my daughters' ears pierced. Took us as walk-ins in a timely manner. Jason was very good with my kids he made them feel comfortable and excited to get pierced. I asked if he was able to do mine too and he didn't hesitate. Overall, couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else! Glad he was recommended. I have my appointment with Nic to work on the sleeve he's been doing. He's definitely my artist for life.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed in the tattoo I received. I had work done here a few years ago by another guy who did great unfortunately he moved away to another state. I was so happy with the work he did. I assumed the shop hired the same quality artists. I had this Done on my forearm it faded away, and the lettering is very discolored. When I spoke to the “Artist“ He said it’s because I am all allergic to that type of Ink. Please don’t insult my intelligence. This is not my first tattoo. I’ve seen more detailed and quality work done with a Staple and homemade ink. This is what this reminded me of.a jailhouse tattoo. He then mentioned that I could go back to the shop and get A touchup . I was willing to get that done, but he would never confirm the time or day I would always have to reach out to him and nothing ever happened. I will not be going back to this place. Now I have to go to another shop and pay more of my hard earned money to get this fixed.

Fantastic experience: I simply cannot recommend Nic more. Never have I been to someone with better customer service skills! He made sure I was comfortable and explained everything to me as he went. Ladies I’m sure know how hard it is to find a good male artist but Nic is unsurpassed! I will definitely be coming back to see him!

Fantastic experience: For years before commiting to our first piece, I had followed Nic Manns tattoo journey watching his artwork progress in each style piece after piece that I knew confidently he could execute what I wanted done and perfectly. Im forever recommending him to people and let them know hes worth the drive to visit (wherever he maybe at time) and to always check out his work via IG or FB. Fantastic experience: Nic Mann is THE man. First became a client over ten years ago, and he’s the only artist I’ll go to for my larger pieces. I had a sleeve that was started by someone I had a falling out with, and Nic not only improved the vision I had for it, he exceeded it.

Fantastic experience: Nic Mann is the best artist you can get especially if you’re looking for Disney or realism! I can say his work speaks for itself. The saying you get what you pay for is real with him! He will not rush you and he wants to make sure that his work is presented on your body in a 1000% kinda way and nothing less! He has done my Elsa for my daughter on my upper shoulder and arm that I’m always getting complimented on as well as my death eater dark mark. My husband gets stopped for his Toy Story tattoo almost every time we are out and about that’s how good it looks! 20/10 recommend Nic!

During my tattoo breaks I had different talks with multiple staff members they are all super personable and easy to talk to. Nic is my artist and is killing my Marvel sleeve. All the colors pop and his linework is amazing. 10/10 recommended

This time, I came in for a small floral tattoo, and once again, he delivered exactly what we wanted. Marky Mark has such a light touch, which makes the experience super comfortable, especially for smaller, delicate pieces like this. His attention to detail is amazing — he captured the floral design beautifully, with clean lines and subtle shading that gives it life without being overpowering. He’s also currently working with me on designing an additional piece to blend into an existing tattoo he’s done previously. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and had a chill vibe. Everyone was friendly, and the atmosphere made it a great first visit. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area — and if you can book with Marky Mark, you're in excellent hands.

The manager was very welcoming and kind while John my tattooer was hilarious and made the whole thing a step above the rest.
