Fantastic experience: Took my son to Next Wave to get his ears pierced. Kaydence did an amazing job, was friendly & made sure he liked her placement of the piercings. Been going to Next Wave for awhile & they’ve always done a great job! Shop is clean, staff is always friendly & knowledgeable. 5 stars all around!

Fantastic experience: My two friends and I were random walk-ins, and every artist at the shop was great to work with and fit us all in quickly with amazing work! I appreciated my artist, Sean, for his artistic insight into my piece and will definitely be back for more floral work!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I came in for Valentine’s Day and had a great experience! We were greeted right away, all of our questions were answered, and the wait wasn’t long at all. The tattoo artist and piercer were both knowledgeable and made everything comfortable and smooth. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean, but I got my nose pierced in May, my nose has continuously gotten keloid bumps even though still to this day I use sterile saline every single night to clean it, not to mention my piercing doesn’t sit properly on my nose. It never sits flesh to my skin and I think it was done at an incorrect angle. I personally don’t think this was a great job, and wish I would’ve looked for another place unfortunately. This wasn’t my first nose piercing (first was not done here) and I had zero issues with my first. I’m not sure if the jewelry they use is not quality although the piercer claimed it was. At the point where I’m ready to take my piercing out and let it heal because I’m not satisfied with the way it looks and how it’s unable to heal properly.

Fantastic experience: I have several tattoos from several different artists, and I have to say that this is the best experience that I have ever had, and also the best tattoo. I was tattooed by Kenneth Shaw, but every artist in the shop seemed to really be excited about what they were doing, and really professional with the clients. I will not get another tattoo unless it is from someone in the shop.

Fantastic experience: Stayton is a fantastic Tattoo artist. He's done the little work I have since before he turned professional. His work has gotten exponentially better! He's very patient with making sure your tattoo is what you want and exactly where you want. He even made some adjustments to one of my pieces on his iPad on the spot. Fantastic experience: Stayton Taylor is an amazing artist. He took time to understand the meaning of the tattoos my husband got and perfected size, and placement. Beautiful delicate line work. The tattoo shop has an amazing vibe, no wierd prison tattoo vibes, clean, organized and fully staffed with artists ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 star for sure!

Negative experience: Piercer was completely overworked. I’m not sure about the cleanliness. My daughter‘s eyebrow piercing, got infected Right Away even though she followed all the instructions. They also told us to change the jewelry out in four weeks, which is completely wrong. I’ve never heard of that in my life, you’re supposed to change it out in about six months. I do not trust this place at all. I would not go here ever again. Definitely not doing my jewelry change here if she can even keep the jewelry in, I would definitely take my daughter to a different place after this never going here again do not recommend. we even spent extra money for the higher quality jewelry again not sure about the cleanliness or the knowledge that these people have on piercings. I should’ve trusted my gut and left the parking lot as soon as I saw the place.

Positive experience: If you like getting over priced tattoos then this is the shop for you. Got a tattoo that took an hour to do and got charged 205 for it. Any other shop would have been 80-150. Will not ever be returning to this store again. Other then pricing the shop is clean and they have multiple artists at different levels of expertise. Got a recent tattoo years later twice the size and for less then half the price charged here and it's was immensely more detailed! Gave three stars cus they did do my favorite tattoo.

Not only is he incredibly talented at what he does, but he also has a great attitude and makes the whole experience fun and enjoyable. I came in with a kinda vague idea of what I wanted for my tattoo, and Deebo took my concept and brought it to life in the most amazing way possible. His attention to detail is unmatched and he really takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Plus, his sense of humor and positive energy really put me at ease during the process. I couldn't be happier with the result and I can't wait to come back for my next tattoo with Deebo. If you're thinking about getting inked, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Deebo - you won't regret it!

Negative experience: RE-EDITED BECAUSE OF THE OWNER ARGUING WITH MY REVIEW SO LET ME BE SPECIFIC! I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES WITHOUT PAYING MORE MONEY! Terrible tattoo shop!! The owner and Josh (one of the tattoo artists) are very rude and unprofessional and unwilling to work with clients. They lie and aren’t willing to change any artwork beforehand to steal your deposit. I've never been to a tattoo shop that was trying to charge me more money to add some sort of clothing to a NAKED FAIRY TATTOO. I did not think a sharpie outline that they took 2 minutes to do was the final sketch and COULD NOT BE CHANGED. Josh either wanted me to reschedule and pay another $100 to add on a little bra and underwear to the SHARPIE OUTLINE SKETCH or I had to get what was drawn. Deposits are nonrefundable so either way I had to get a naked fairy because no changes could've been made OR they take my deposit because NO CHANGES COULD'VE BEEN MADE WITHOUT SCHEDULING ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AND PAYING ANOTHER DEPOSIT!! I would've never gave them the money to start with because they definitely ripped me off. I wouldn't have "given" this business $100 for no reason if I knew that I was not able to change my mind about ideas about what goes on MY BODY. I did not feel like paying ANOTHER $100 DEPOSIT for this place to CHANGE the sharpie sketch outline they did for me. RIDICULOUS. SEA OF INK ON MAIN STREET is definitely the way to go! They will change a sketch a million times over to make sure his clients are happy!! I've never had an experience like I did at this place and I'll never forget it!!

Fantastic experience: It was my first tattoo and the whole staff made me feel right at home. Joe did an amazing job! We had a great conversation the entire time and it didn't even feel like 5 hours! Everyone was friendly and attentive and got me water. I'm referring everyone I can to this place, and I'll be coming here for future tattoos for sure!

Fantastic experience: I recently got another tattoo from Parker at Next Wave Tattoos in Mesa, this time on my arm. We had a couple of scheduling hiccups and ended up having to push the appointment back a few months, but Parker was incredibly polite, patient, and flexible the whole time. When the day finally came, the tattoo was done quickly and flawlessly. His creativity, skill, and professionalism always impress me. I’ve loved every piece he’s done for me, and I’ll continue to go back to him for future work. Highly recommend Parker if you’re looking for a talented and easy-to-work-with artist! It was my first big piece so I was nervous be he was very knowledgeable and reassuring which helped to much. Fantastic experience: Parker was such a cool artist to book with! I got a flash from him a couple years ago that still looks stellar to this day, so ofc when my boyfriend was saying he wanted to get his first bigger tattoo we made an appt with Parker both for his skill and good vibes. Parker designed it, knocked it out of the park, regularly checked in to make sure he was doing good, and brought nothing but positivity and humor the whole time. Boyfriend loves the tattoo and mentioned multiple times how comfortable he felt, definitely going to be a regular now :) Thank you again Parker!!

Positive experience: I was here about 4 weeks ago to get a belly piercing. The shop was very clean and had a nice environment. The piercer was also very sweet and informative. The issue I have is with the jewelry I was pierced with. I had to pay extra in order to get the titanium jewelry because of an allergy instead of the standard stainless and I noticed recently the skin was getting very agitated so I ordered a new piece of jewelry and just switched it out today. The jewelry I was pierced with was turning green and a copper color and ALL of the gold color on the bar had rubbed off inside of the piercing. The bracket holding the jewel onto the bar was also constantly imbedding in my skin. I just feel that if we have to pay an extra fee to get jewelry that is safe for us to wear, the establishment should make sure that the jewelry they are putting in their clients isn’t low grade metal or something that will tarnish in fresh wounds.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for a few years and met Izzy a year ago. She had did a Game of Thrones tattoo for me last year on my birthday and of course I had to go back and get tattooed by her again. Yesterday, on the 19th of March, she had tattooed a Hogwarts tarot card on my thigh and it looks so cute! It’s not done yet, but we’re going to get it finished for the second session. I would definitely recommend this shop and Izzy. Everyone at this shop is so friendly and funny.

Fantastic experience: First time coming here, my tattoo artist was/is Parker. He's amazing I also met an Angie an Emily and I think the awesome guy with the glasses is Ken lol. Well either way everyone is soo amazing patient caring and nice. I'm getting my chest done not fully but cute tattoos and it's not quite finished yet so I have to come back can't wait to finish it. Fantastic experience: Izzy is the sweetest tattoo artist I’ve ever had, she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed as much as you can be during a tattoo. She did a freestyle ish tattoo where she drew everything on and incorporated my other tattoo that was in the same area which I absolutely loved! I don’t see myself going to any other shop or artist!

Fantastic experience: I'm almost done with my second sleeve with Kenneth and I can't say enough good things about this shop and its artists. I found Kenneth on TikTok and immediately wanted to throw my wallet at him. He's one of the most talented artists I've seen and owns both locations and has a really great team of artists and piercers who work for him. I've been tattooed by Emily as well, and hope to collect pieces from many of the other artists too. Shop is super clean, the vibe is chill, and the work is quality. I've had a great experience every appointment, and I'm up to about 12 5-9 hrs sessions so far. Go say hi and throw wallets at them. They're rad.

Fantastic experience: I went to Angi to have my old pierced ears re pierced because they are no longer even, etc. Everyone in this shop was so kind and friendly to this gramma. Angi ( who makes her $ doing piercings) inspected them carefully and gave me all the reasons i should not have them re pierced. I trusted her opinion and left without paying anyone a penny. What a refreshing experience. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

With a quick consult and three hours later my arm canvas was transformed into a piece of beautiful art. I absolutely love it. There are also other artists there tattooing different styles so I would say they can cover any tattoo idea, the best part is they are all so friendly. We all had a few laughs and share great stories. I love this place. 5 Stars.

I have been tattooed by multiple of their artists, including Izzy and Kenneth, and have always had an amazing expereince. I absolutely LOVE all of my pieces. I would trust any of the artists here. Everyone is so welcoming, professional, and talented. I most recently got 3 piercings from Angie, who was incredible! She made me feel so comfortable and explained each step of the process. She truly cares about her work, and took her time to make sure everything was symmetrical & placed beautifully next to my existing piercings. Fantastic experience: Stopped in today and saw Angie to have my septum pierced. Angie was so reassuring with explaining each step of the process, discussing the right size jewelry for my piercing and warning me that the clamp for locating the piercing area would hurt more than anything. I was shocked by how little any of it hurt! As someone who is SUPER sensitive to being poked with needles (and who usually gets faint and sometimes passes out) it was fast and only stung a little bit. Looking forward to going back to see her for future piercings!

My bestie and I came in for Friday 13th tattoos and were pleasantly surprised by the team and how still go happy they were to help. Parker was absolutely amazing and made sure I was happy and 100% sure with the design. He killed this and we are already planning to add more. Parker’s lines are so clean and the tattoo itself was not painful at all, Parker’s got a great touch and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. All the other artists there were so nice and kept looking at the piece. Such a cohesive studio with artists who genuinely care about each other and their clients. Could not recommend them any more!! My partner and I have gotten tattooed multiple times by SuzieQ and Izzy and have been met with nothing but respect, professionalism, humor, and amazing tattoos! I HIGHLY recommend both of them and the other artists at this shop! Their work has never let me down! My leg sleeve, woman on arm, and BF’s bear was done by Suzie, while the vase, flowers with skulls under knee, coffee mug, and BF’s anime tattoo was Izzy. If you want good vibes, laughs, a safe and comfortable space to get your tattoo work done, this is THE place!

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of getting a floral tattoo at Next Wave Tattoo by Izzy, and it was truly the best tattoo experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the vibes were perfect. The shop had a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. Izzy was incredible. I send her so many pictures, after changing my entire design that I came in with, and she not only adjust so willingly but drew up the exact vision I had in my head. Fantastic experience: Walked in and my friend and I wanted to get matching tats with a very limited time frame and Jared got ours done so quick and easy! He was so comfortable to be around, the atmosphere was nice and chill too. He was funny and efficient and even got another tat for my friend done in our timeframe too! Would definitely go back in the future.

Fantastic experience: Have taken my daughter for piercings at the other location and the experience has always been great! Took her to this location for her 1st tattoo and it was awesome! Came out even better then we imagined! Huge shout out to Kenneth Shaw for all his help in this process and the artist Emily for being so great at what she does and making my daughter so happy and just being a geniually cool person to conversate with. Highly recommend this place, it is now our go to for any of our future tatts or piercings!

Fantastic experience: My friend had designed me a back piece and I went to go get it tattooed here. I was with Alex and she did amazing. It is absolutely beautiful and the environment in the shop was very calm and comforting. Me and my friend watched captain America during my appointment. I highly recommend Alex and this shop.

Fantastic experience: I got tattooed by Alex, and let me tell you she is amazing! Not only did she get back to me super quick when I was asking to see if she could do a certain design. But she also makes sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. If you’re looking to get something done make sure you go and see Alex I love her designs and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I came here for my piercing. I had a symmetrical double eyebrow piercing from a different shop a couple months ago where one of the piercings was too shallow and had to be taken out - Jacob repierced it for me. Incredibly grateful for his attention to detail - mirroring/ (re)creating symmetry with an existing piercing from someone else’s hand in a very prominent place on my face. I was picky and he worked with me - placing and replacing the marks on my face until it was right and absolutely nailed it, not to mention how comfortable he made me feel in his chair. I’m skipping the middle man and going straight to Jacob next time I get a new piercing.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful. They have amazing artwork. Their prices are wonderful. They are very caring while you’re getting your tattoo they check up on you. I was getting my tattoo and I was falling asleep through my tattoo. My tattoo artist Isela checked on me to make sure that I was OK that I didn’t pass out or if I needed any water or if I needed a break. She very sweet and very kind I will most definitely be coming back here to get my other three more tattoos. Next wave tattoo and piercings has a very relaxing and friendly vibe.

All the artists are open and down to earth and willing to accommodate any question or artistic question. Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo on Saturday last week and i was a walk in and I went to Rogillio, and let me say he did a fantastic job. He really took his time with drawing it out, placing it and tattooing. He was professional and the art was just amazing 10/10 recommend going! I will be back to finish the rest of my arm with him.

Fantastic experience: Came to get my snakebites and septum re-pierced and JZ was AMAZING! loved her vibe and how thorough she was. Even though I've had these piercings before she was still explaining everything and I love that. Whole shop was clean and friendly, I will definitely be coming back for more piercings with JZ. Fantastic experience: They have a relaxed environment, with a very professional group of artists. My artist today was Hayden. I cannot say enough about him. I was having my first big color piece, and he took the time to explain everything, and was very professional. I go back in 2 weeks to finish the piece. I highly recommend him.
