Jasper is a fantastic tattoo artist and made my tattoo better than I could have ever pictured, he is also respectful and friendly and I felt very safe and comfortable throughout the whole process.

Fantastic experience: After multiple tattoos at multiple studios by multiple artist, Ricky at Magna Tattoo is by far the best! The whole studio is top-class! Great vibes, each artist is a master of their craft, the place is spotlessly clean and the communication was excellent! I gave Ricky a brief idea of a cover up that I wanted done which would include the man cover-up part, and a few other meaningful subject on my entire lower leg & the end product, I couldn’t have hope for a better result! Black & grey realism is wha I had done but over my 5 visits, there was a lot of other styles and designs going on. Pay them a visit and loc something in.. you’ll not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Je me suis faite tatouer durant une journée entière par Ben, qui a fait attention à ce que j'ai un maximum de confort tout au long de la séance J'ai pû avoir un rendez-vous rapidement car j'étais en voyage : deux semaines et demi plus tard pour faire les retouches, maintenant le tatouage est cicatrisé et au top ! L'ambiance au studio est détendue et sympathique, je recommande les yeux fermés !

Fantastic experience: I got my tattoo from Jasper and it was absolutely worth it! I’m not usually a big fan of color tattoos, but his artwork was so good it convinced me to get one and I absolutely love it. The studio itself is very well taken care of, it was clean, everything was prepared, and it felt warm and cozy. I’ve been to different tattoo shops before, but hands down, Magna Tattoo Studio has been the best one I’ve ever visited. I highly recommend them and their amazing service.

Fantastic experience: I came in today with my best friend to get matching tattoos. We both had tattoos before, this was my first tattoo with colour. This is handsdown the least painful tattoo that I have gotten so far. I couldn’t recommend Ricky enough, I felt faint after the tattoo and his constantly checking to make sure I was okay. I am getting a cover up done on my bum and he was so respectful and asked multiple times if I was comfortable (absolutely NO creep vibes). I have now gotten two three day in a row tattoos from Nick. He's very talented at what he does. He's also very kind. When I was starting to get a little sore he was very encouraging, telling me I was doing a good job. I am so honoured to have two pieces of his art on me forever. I had ideas for the tattoos and he did them beyond anything I ever wanted. The entire team is very warm and inviting and easy to joke with. I would HIGHLY recommend this tattoo shop to anyone looking for their next awesome piece of body art. You can trust them to make you something amazing.

Fantastic experience: Great experience at Magna Tattoo studio. The artists are friendly, accommodating, patient and attentive making it a pleasurable experience. The portraits of our young daughter were so well done, they looked just like the photo and these were done on a smaller area too. We are so impressed with the high quality of tattooing and even the studio doesn't feel like a typical tattoo studio. The tattoo bed was comfortable, I was able to lie down comfortably for hours without discomfort. Although we live in the North Island, we plan on only coming to Magna studio for future tattoos now, we want the best.

Fantastic experience: A+ out of ten, always a good time which is pretty impressive considering most of it is spent being stabbed hundreds of times. The art is brilliant, even just looking around the room at the other tattoos you can see everyone working is brilliant. The new location is also really well set up and there's always a good at least a little ridiculous conversation going on. I'll likely add some pictures to this review later after today's session has healed a bit more.

So, since finding the final piece of the puzzle, I have been imagining a tribute to the importance, to me, my heritage. It has been great working with an awesome young man in bringing my ideas together. Ben Clark from Magna Studios, it has truly been a fun journey. Really enjoyed the banter between the team. Fantastic experience: The team at Magna Tattoo are professional when it comes to the dynamics of getting a tattoo and in my eyes the best tattoo studio in Christchurch. The studio is a sterile environment with a high standard of cleanliness.The team have a variety of tattoo artists who specialises in different styles of tattooing, including anime , colour, grey/wash, realism portrait work catering for ones needs. I’ve personally had over 80 hours of work, including entire arm sleeve, entire back, ribs and thigh. All my tattoo work completed by the staff have healed perfectly without any issues.

Fantastic experience: Becky has done most of the Disney tattoos on my sleeve. She has always been thorough with explaining how to get best results and creating a cohesive theme. Her talent and results are fantastic. I have some from 6 years ago, to one completed yesterday. They have maintained great colour, perfect saturation and look perfect. She has done a variety of styles to suit my wishes. I recommend Becky for her professional outlook and her attention to detail. I have auto immune disease and out of 3 tattoists I've used in total, Becky has given me the best results. I will use her for my final piece because I know I can rely on the result and her creativity.
