Negative experience: Steve did a really simple tattoo for me as it was my first and it was very meaningful to me. I told him the colours i wanted for shading and he didn’t even get it right and the lines are thick and then thin all over and he nicked a line that wasn’t even supposed to be there. Also extremely over priced for such a small tattoo with only one small bit of shading. $300 when I could’ve had it done for $100.

Negative experience: On the 4th April my friend and I (BOTH) received BOTCHED piercings from the owner of the "Jolly Octopus". Save yourself the heart ache and stress by NEVER going to this place. The owner bruised my earlobe in one piercing and piercied my mask into my other piercing. THEN .... gave my friend a small industrial bar which lead to her ear swallowing the bar. This owner has no care or consequence for his customers emotional well being and has no interest in responding or resolving this situation. Please do yourself a favour and learn from our mistake! DO NOT GO TO THE JOLLY OCTOPUS!

Negative experience: Lack of customer service. I rang 4 times, as I needed help getting a tragus piercing out because I had a MRI scan later that day and these people wont answer the phone.

Negative experience: Would not recommend getting a piercing here - Sister got her nose pierced here because of the great reviews. We are really disappointed with the whole experience and the result. Firstly, the place felt dirty (the piercing table was tatty, I could see bloody tissues coming out of the bin, the woman doing the piercing smelt like cigarettes). They put a ring in instead of a stud which I didn't think was best practice, after speaking with professional piercers since. The piercer spent ages trying to get the ring closed which my sister said was really painful. The ring chosen is just way way way too large for my sisters nose and sticks out! people have made comments about it being so huge! not

Fantastic experience: I went to get a nose peircing done at the jolly octopus, I loved the location as it didn't require me to find a car park in the middle of the city and walk onto the main st just to get my nose pierced...customer service very friendly American well spoken and super calming...he didn't just peirce my nose and be rid of me as some people tend to do...enjoyed some banter and listening to his love of our beautiful country. Process was hygienic and quick and I would highly recommend this establishment! Thank you
