Fantastic experience: Have had 4 tattoos done here and all 4 have been great. 3 by Catherine and 1 by Andy. All the team are really friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next one in a few weeks with Catherine who I can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Ella! She was so friendly and welcoming, and even spoke to me on her Sunday off, then quucjly fitting me in a few days later. The shop was spotless and professional, but also had a really relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Ella took the time to chat through the process, made me feel at ease, and gave clear aftercare guidance that was super helpful—even though I’ve had plenty of tattoos before. The result turned out amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for both quality work and a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Slowly making my rounds and getting a tattoo from every artist at freak or unique so far Ella, Catherine and Becky ive gotten at least 1 piece from. every artist is 5 stars, the apprentice quality of tattoos is incredible, the experienced artists do some of the best work ive seen, lucky this place is 15 mins down the road, friendly shop and accommodating. First place id reccomend to someone wanting a tattoo, an artist for every style and great value, standard hourly rates and great flash deals and choices

Super kind, printed off lots of sizes so i could pick exactly what i wanted, was really patient while i picked placement and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I got my very first tattoo by Ella Vickery. I was really nervous but she made it so easy and explained the process really clearly. Was very patient with me through the whole process, I felt very relaxed, the other team members at the shop are lovely too. Including Andy and Ella who were so welcoming and sociable, and made sure I had everything I needed to be as relaxed, and as anxious free as possible. I will definitely be going there again for my next tattoo sessions, there is no where else I would rather go. Absolute 10/10!!!

Fantastic experience: 1st time getting a proper tattoo done, had a bit of a funny turn when Andy was putting the stencil on. He was very supportive and made sure i was okay to continue during the whole session, 100% will be back to book with Andy again

Negative experience: Amazing artist but should specify more detail about his work when showing him something you want, recently got a tattoo from him and turned to be completely different to what I actually wanted in the first place. He didn’t like my comments on what I had to say about my tattoo he did on my skin!! and got extremely rude and refused to tattoo me again or even fix the mistakes he had made in the tattoo originally. Also very rude about his staff that wasn’t there at the time but had nothing nice to say about them (Ella) or their customers either! And sitting for 5-6 hour session with him his outlook on women is disappointing, disturbing and disgusting! Dare I leave what was said in this review! Other staff absolutely amazing and wish I would have gone for the man that worked on the same day as my session or the lovely women Jodie i believe her name was! Such lovely people and I listened how they dealt and spoke to their customers and felt almost jealous that I didn’t have the same experience! The tattooist not to go to is ANDY/ANDREW USES BOTH NAMES! I won’t ever come back because of his lack of respect to customer and lies about what work he can do when he CANT DO! Now left my leg incomplete and undone and refuses to see me again! What lovely customer service (NOT).

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Sunra Sam for tattoos for a little under a year now and looking to get more from him in the future. I've had 3 tattoos designed and done by him and over the moon for the results. See the photos!! He is a very attentive artist: firstly for his process of designing the tattoos I wanted in response to my brief, but also during the tattooing period where he insures I'm comfortable and happy. He is a great tattoo artist, but also a lovely respectable guy, who I'd recommend to anyone looking to get a first tattoo or to add to the their collection! Also, the other artists at Freak Or Unique are incredible at what they do, and as a studio it is a professional working space but has a relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, Lee is such a talented artist and it is a privilege to be tattooed by him every time. We are currently building my arm sleeve and each design has been carefully curated and executed with attention to detail. I am beyond happy with the progress so far and I look forward to his tattoo sessions every time. If you are wanting a safe, excepting and kind artist who is day by day evolving his craft, Lee is the artist for you!

Fantastic experience: I go by Valentina, and I have had tattoos by Ella and Andy, and the work they have produced is beyond amazing! I have never felt so comfortable in a studio and so at home, they make you feel so comfortable and happy, and the work is outstanding hence why I’ve been 3 times in a month! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I would tell everyone to go there now! I travel an hour to it and it’s so worth it

Fantastic experience: Been to see Cath at Freak or Unique twice now. From start to finish the experience has been outstanding. She really cares about your tattoo and doesn’t mind how many changes you need to make to it as long as it’s what you want. Ben created an amazing black and grey realism piece for me and I watched Mike do an incredible cover up. A very clean and professional studio with great people.
