Fantastic experience: I got my eyebrow peirced here (on my own which is wild for lil old anxious me) and the experience was amazing! I felt so safe, calm and much less scared after sam (meow peircing) reasurred me id be fine.... before stabbing me in the face . Sam was gentle, soft spoken, explained everything clearly and gave me ample space to change my mind on positioning which i think are all so key in this profession. I was OBSESSED with the little cave full of cat themed things, it made it feel less clinical and more personal which in turn made me feel so relaxed. So much information given on aftercare and general upkeep also! 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: they did an amazing job with my lip piercing and gave me equipment to clean it for free. they also generously repierced a healed piercing for a discounted rate. very nice people i recommend !

Fantastic experience: Came in for a vertical conch piercing from Sam, and I’d liken the experience to being pierced by a unicorn. The studio? Flawless. Jewellery options? Incredible. Goodie bags? To die for. Sam himself? Iconic. Yes, it bloody hurt, but he had no problem with me hitting my vape and yelling at him (obviously not mean things, I’m not an asshole I was just in pain) and he kept calm, collected, and zen. Also, incredibly funny guy. 10/10 experience, shall be back

Fantastic experience: I had such an easy, amazing experience at Inked up today. I walked in for a nose piercing and was told I had the right anatomy and could come back later in the day. My piercers, Sam and Catherine were lovely and funny, making sure I was happy with each step and comfortable. I’d recommended Inked Up to anyone, everyone who worked there was wonderful!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a piercing done with Sam today and he was amazing. As soft as a pussy cat you could say! From my initial contact I knew he was good at what he did and loves his art. I am loving my conch piercing that will be a wonderful reminder of my holiday to the UK from Australia. I have thorough instructions on aftercare and also a plan for when I get back home and what to do. What a legend!

Fantastic experience: I got my ears pierced here the other day with my friends. 6 of us got piercings, it was great! Sam is a brilliant piercer, incredibly friendly, careful and made us all feel comfortable. We got care bags which included sterile wipes, microswabs and stickers. We even got a little rubber duck too. I would definitely recommend getting your ears pierced here

Fantastic experience: Popped in to speak about changing some jewellery that was feeling uncomfortable. I had not long had these piercings done (somewhere else) and asked about changing the jewellery as it had only been 3 weeks. Sam was incredibly helpful and said it would be ok to change them and he could fit me with something more appropriate. Unfortunately he could not see us for an hour. As we needed to get back to Poole he very kindly closed the shop for us and changed the jewellery and went through the best care routine. The shop was well presented, and I could see Hygiene was paramount. I can not fault the service I had and will definitely recommend you see Sam for any piercings. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Got my eyebrow pierced by sam today and let me just say it was amazing! he talked me through every step and was a very calming person. i went in feeling a bit nervous but his demeanour was so calming it was hard to be anxious. i’ve been very loyal to my piercer but sam will definitely be someone i go to regularly for my piercings. the receptionist was also very lovely and made me feel at ease. definitely recommend!

Negative experience: REVIEW FOR EYEBROW Upon first impression honestly a good place, reviews looked great, staff were lovely. Upon actually getting my piercing however I was somewhat unimpressed. I had previously had my eyebrow done at my usual piercer, however this had healed up and I chose to get it re-pierced with “meow”. I wasn’t particularly walked through the process at all, and not informed of what stages of the process I was on. What shocked me was the fact that he used his hands to do an eyebrow piercing. Admittedly the second I didn’t feel a clamp I should’ve left the whole place but went along with it as I assumed he knew what he was doing. The piercing is the only bad piercing I’ve had. It’s so insanely shallow. The jewellery is almost visible through my skin. I let it heal for a while and it’s only gotten worse overtime. I went back to my old piercer for some advice and she strongly suggested I remove it as it was almost definitely going to reject. £40 down and now two holes in my eyebrow. I think “meow” seems to be great for ear and nose piercings but if you’re looking to get anything above a nostril I would recommend looking elsewhere. The piercers photos on instagram are solely ear piercings which all look brilliant. Just not for facial and body. I am not making this review to complain about inked up or any of their practices. Just as a word of advice for anyone trying to find a facial piercing review from here as I was misguided by 4/5 star reviews on ears. I’ve put the one star for the staff as everyone there including the piercer were lovely and the tattoos looked great that i saw just not for facial and body piercings (to reiterate).

Fantastic experience: Went to Bristol a few weeks ago with friends and while we are away we always get new piercings/tattoos. Whilst wandering through town we saw a man with a sign, advertising the studio and thought it must be fate. All four of us went in and were instantly greeted with a friendly welcome. Two of us had tattoos and two of us had piercings. The service Sam provided with the piercings was amazing! He was informative and made me feel at ease as I was super nervous about this piercing. We even got little aftercare packages with lollies, a small duck and gold stars! We enjoyed our experience so much, that we got as far as the entrance for the car park and went back for more! Myself another piercing to even myself up, and my friends more tattoos. Whenever we visit Bristol again we will definitely be returning! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had my first tattoo of a deathshead hawk-moth today by Chlöe and I'm very happy with the result. She was very friendly and eased my anxiety surrounding the pain of being tattoed and the tattoo itself is perfect. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful in booking my tattoo and explaining the aftercare.

Fantastic experience: Had 3 piercings here so far and have had a positive experience every time. The piercers are friendly, informative, knowledgeable and understanding. All my piercings have healed without any issues and I've always felt at ease when getting a piercing here. It's very clean and all my appointments have gone ahead on time. Negative experience: I do not recommend this place. I wanted a nice, small heart tattoo on my arm. Thin lined, I did get a chunky, uneven tattoo, where some lines are thicker than others. When I complained about the quality of this tattoo, I was asked to come to the studio so Greggs can look at it. He has looked at it and he’s made it even worse. They did refund £60 and I was told that this is a small tattoo and they all look like that… don’t know what he meant, but my tattoo looks bad… instead of a nice delicate heart, I have a chunky heart that all it needs is a laser removal. Oh, the whole experience of refunding was so uncomfortable and when I came to the studio, I was asked to undress in the reception, so they could see the tattoo!! It blew my mind.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion the best piercing and tattoo shop in Bristol. I had some roses and stars done there and I honestly couldn't be any happier. The staff are incredibly kind particularly Gregg who again did both of my tattoos and made me laugh a bit. Moreover, the prices are reasonable and it was great interacting with more of the staff. Furthermore, the studio is a small size but full of good vibes.If you are looking to get piercing's or tattoos then this is the right place to go.

Fantastic experience: I recently got a tattoo done here, excellent experience throughout, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ruby the individual at the desk greats you with a smile and a welcoming attitude then on the way out the door she’ll explain the aftercare to you, Paul (Greggs) did my tattoo and he was also a really friendly guy, knowledgeable and took pride in what he was doing and suggested things to make the tattoo look better, Sam the apprentice was also in the room when I was getting tattooed he to was a nice friendly person actually while I was in they had a couple sisters walk in for a tattoo without an appointment Sam stopped what he was working on and cracked on with the walk ins straight away. You could tell that the three people I’ve named above all had a good working chemistry between them which lead to a good atmosphere in the shop.

Fantastic experience: I nipped in yesterday with a query as my 2.5 year old nose piercing still hasn't properly healed and has flared up. The woman at reception was very kind and knowledgeable and offered me an appt in 15 minutes but I returned the next day instead. Sam was really kind and knowledgeable about the kind of jewellery I should be wearing and offered to order me in a stud to suit my preferences. I haven't received this level of customer support at any other Bristol studio. I don't have any tattoos and my nose is my only body piercing so sometimes piercing studios can feel a bit intimidating when you don't have a load of tattoos etc, but I felt 100% welcomed. A bit of a shame no card machine but a small price to pay for excellent service. Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: Very good place, if not the best. Greg does have the softest tattoo hands in the whole England. He is an artist, improved my design 100% and was very fast about it. He worked very hygienic and the whole saloon was spotless. His colleague explained very clearly the whole after care and answered with a smile to all my questions. If you want an excellent tattoo this is the place you want and ask for Greg.

The staff were so lovely and Vikka herself was sooooo wonderful and she made the whole process feel really calm and took any feelings of intimidation away. Fantastic experience: Had some lobe piercings done almost 3 months ago and recently had them downsized. The piercing and downsizing processes were smooth, I felt reassured everything was clean and done professionally, and the piercers were lovely and knowledgeable. It was also far less painful than the piercings I had done as a teenager with the gun. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing, amazing experience! Vikka (my piercer) was the most sweetest, patient and supportive person to have my nipples done! She took her time with me, answered any queries adequately and was so kind. I was very nervous about the pain as I heard they hurt to get done (which they did I’m not going to lie), but the process was very quick and careful it was not as bad as it could’ve been! Hygiene was also top notch and the setting is very private and chilled. Definitely recommend and will hope to come back again for more piercings or a tattoo

Fantastic experience: I had my ear pierced at a different studio who gave bad advice on aftercare, poor placement of the piercings, and used too small bars. Vikka was exceptional in giving advice on why I was having problems, and how to more effectively keep my ear clean. She put in larger bars, gave me a leaflet which gave great do's and don't's, and a lot of detail on why the other information I was given was bad, and what to do instead. Katherine was really helpful and friendly on reception too, they were both a delight to speak to, and made me feel a lot better about a frustrating situation. I'll definitely go back again, and will recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience today with my cousin who came in to get her nose pierced. The staff were really friendly and explained everything thoroughly. The studio was spotless and had a really nice atmosphere. Aftercare instructions were given clearly and the piercer checked in with my cousin several times to make sure she was ok throughout the whole process. This was our first time visiting the studio and we will definitely be returning - thank you! X

Fantastic experience: Had my septum pierced at this studio yesterday. Lovely clean piercing studio. Friendly staff. Impeccably clean piercing practices and clean gloves every time the lady touched me. Very thorough with what she was doing, what the process would be, perfectly explained healing process and how and when to do everything. 100% recommend this studio for piercings!

Negative experience: UNCLEARLY ADVISED PRICES AND STILL CHARGED ME A CANCELATION FREE !!! If I could give zero stars I would. Came in last week to get a piercing which they’re instagram advertised as being 35£. I got to the store 5 minutes before my appointment and wasn’t let in until 20 minutes later. The lady then said it would be 90£ for the piercings. Their instagram was very unclear about their prices. At this time I was not able to afford the service so said I didn’t want to get them done. She then said I had to pay a cancellation free of 20£ even though I had turned up for my appointment. I do not recommend this shop. The hole interaction was very rude and I think charging me a cancellation free bc I couldn’t afford the appointment is appalling !!!!

Fantastic experience: I got my first ever tattoo today and I'm so pleased. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and welcoming which really helped with my anxiety. The tattoo is amazing and just what I wanted. If you're new to tattoos or just looking for a place you can trust this is where to go!

Fantastic experience: A friend and I had our upper lobes pierced today by Sam. My friend tends to faint or feel faint after piercings and he was very kind and accommodating, letting her lay down and not put any pressure on her to feel better so he could move onto the next piercing. He was lovely and chatty and helped both of us feel calm and ready for our piercing. Thank you Sam! We love them. :)))
