No Regrets Studios Bristol

Fantastic experience: came to no regrets with a clear idea for my 50th birthday tattoo and was introduced to Amir who really understood what my vision was. The vision was an Iron Maiden mascot tattoo as I have been an obsessive fan since starting senior school. Amir designed my vision amazingly and executed the tattoo with absolute precision. I would highly recommend Amir to anyone who is wanting a high standard tattoo, especially with face and portraits. He is also, easy going, professional and a very nice man. A big thank you once again Amir, you are an amazing artist.

Fantastic experience: I have just had two tattoos (triple bands around each forearm) by Alfredo. I was blown away by his skill, professionalism and artistry. The end results are amazing! I have a number of other tattoos, from a variety of studios, but the experience at NR is easily the best. If you're looking for a brilliant artist and a really great bloke, I can totally recommend Alfredo at No Regrets.

Fantastic experience: This is my second experience here and I absolutely enjoy every moment. I had Francesca (Tembo) for my biggest tattoo yet, and even when I was in pain, she made sure I got the breaks I needed, or some numbing spray, and reminded me to keep drinking water. Her work is utterly phenomenal and each time I look in the mirror or show a friend my new tattoo, we are both amazed by how well it turned out! I could not reccomend Francesca (Tembo) enough!

Fantastic experience: I've gotten two tattoos in no regrets studio, both done by Felipe (@Felipecachopa on instagram) and I couldn't recommend this place or him as an artist more. - Great work: the tattoos are exactly what I wanted, first one I went to him with an exact photo of what I wanted, he offered it to me as it was and a second version designed by him, I strongly preferred the latter. Second time went to him with a concept he freehanded on me, the results were incredible both times. - Attitude: Felipe's been a total pleasure to work with, super nice and understanding, very helpful and absolutely great at his job. Everybody else I've met in the studio have also been very helpful, from reception to other artists, everyone was always very supportive. - Breaks: not once has Felipe made me feel bad for needing a break, and I think the attitude's probably the same all around the studio. - Design: Felipe never made me feel bad for needing to change the design or move it or reprint the stencil bigger or smaller. - Cleanliness: the studio is spotless, and the hygiene standard is high, no complaints. - Aftercare instructions: sent promptly by the artist post tattoo, detailed and helpful. - High price, high quality: on the pricier side, but the quality more than makes up for it. I believe there are also payment plans available though I haven't enquired.

Fantastic experience: Tiago is the most amazing artist. He's and absolute perfectionist and at the top of his game. I am part way through a great Norse themed double sleeve project and have had 4 full days with him, I couldn't be happier with what he has done so far. I highly recommend No Regrets but more specifically highly recommend Tiago in Bristol.

Positive experience: My tattoo was done by Tiago and I am so please with it. his attention to detail is a joy to see. The two days it took were very pleasant. The whole place was spotlessly clean and all the staff are so friendly. they made me feel really welcome. I am 65 years young and this was my first tattoo and have no regrets what so ever about choosing this studio.

Fantastic experience: I had 3 pieces done by Robson and I’m so happy with how they turned out. Rob really listened to what I wanted and designed 3 beautiful pieces for me and they have been tattooed to perfection. Already excited to come back for my next ones. Would highly recommend

Tiago brought it to life with amazing details and design work to make the most of every part of the tattoo. Tiago and the whole team at NR were extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: I had my tattoo done by Tembo and I absolutely love it! The colours are perfect and the size is exactly how I wanted it, and she gave me some very good suggestions during the consultation to make it look even better than I had first imagined. She was also very understanding regarding breaks, as it was my first tattoo. Would definitely come here again for another!

Fantastic experience: I don't know where to start, Felipe is absolutely incredible and he's given me the best memorial tattoo for my Holly. I'm so glad I picked him, I am so in love with my tattoo and now I feel like she is by my side forever. I was so comfortable throughout and five hours flew by. I bought an aftercare bundle there by Stories and Ink and I thought that was really reasonable. I would recommend No Regrets to anyone! The only criticism I have is that I didn't know I needed to pay the remaining balance by cash on the day until about two days prior to my appointment via a reminder email, which was a bit stressful to sort - I called as soon as I received the email because I was worried and was advised paying by card on the day would be fine, but on the day it was not fine and I could only pay by cash or bank transfer. Not a great position to put anyone in at short notice and thankfully I managed to sort something. I think this may have been because their card machine was down but I'm not too sure, I paid the deposit by card via a payment link so not sure why this wasn't an option instead of panicking trying to sort funds for a bank transfer.

Fantastic experience: Had my first tattoo on my spine done by Rob, he talked me through everything and made sure I was happy with the design and placement before starting. He checked in on my to make sure I was okay with the feeling as I was nervous but I felt barley anything. Would 100% recommend to visit no regrets studio in Bristol and would definitely recommend Rob.

Fantastic experience: This my first time at No Regrets Bristol. My previous tattoo was at their Studio in Bath (the two were subsequently merged). This Studio is bigger but no less personal and it has a good vibe. It's modern and professional and everyone is very friendly. Naz did a great job on a fun tattoo on my arm, accurately described by her as cute, and designed just to make my smile. It's a great place to have a tattoo done.

Fantastic experience: Felipe was amazing, so friendly and guided me throughout the whole process of getting my first tattoo. He clearly knew what he was doing, and was easy to communicate with in terms of my tattoo design which turned out beautifully. Everyone at no regrets was lovely, will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing tattoo experience at No Regrets with Rob. I absolutely love my tattoo! Rob was really lovely and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. He designed my tattoo by drawing straight onto my thigh on the day, which was such a great experience, and we had open discussions throughout about placement, size, and tweaks as the design developed. The session itself was relaxed and honestly flew by. I’m super happy with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rob to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The overall experience has been extremely positive. From the first meeting to discuss the design and goal, to the expert tattooing by the artist. She has been very friendly and professional. Whilst the full tattoo isn't finished, I have absolute confidence that the end result will be absolutely stunning! During my session I was studio was buzzing with creativity and I've seen tattoos being done that blew my mind, both in design and execution. Fantastic experience: NR Bristol offer the best tattoo experience. My tattoo journey started in 2011 with a Bedfordshire artist and following multiple bereavements in 2009. I brought my existing tattoos to Robson Santos in November 2024 because I was ready to start closing those painful chapters of my life and move forward. He is both an amazing artist and amazing soul. Instinctively he knew how to enhance my forearm scripture with peonies using detailed outlines and layered colour. His technique has produced the most beautiful finish, suiting my skin tone, age and personality - Thank you Rob. My next project is to compliment my back piece and I look forward to my session with him in March'26 Scarlett in the customer team has been integral in helping me organise my sessions with Rob. She is professional and I very much appreciate her patience on my tattoo journey with NR Bristol. Keep being amazing guys!

Fantastic experience: Over the moon with the progress on my sleeve, I went in with nothing in my head and just a theme and liking the art style of one of the artists, Loiz. We booked a consultation and talked through designs and together have come up with a unique Japanese themed style sleeve. I've had compliments from other artists on the smoothness of the work! Definitely recommend! The whole studio is nice and the staff amazing and friendly

Fantastic experience: I was very anxious about getting the tattoo done, only because I did not know what it was going to look like. I had an initial consultation with Naz and David to discuss what I wanted included in the design, but was unsure of how it would come together. My fears were allayed as soon as I saw what Naz had put together - she really captured the essence of what I wanted. The design I actually chose was one of the "less detailed" ones but it was perfect for what I had in mind, even though one of the elements I had originally wanted was not included. I'll just have to get another tattoo done Naz was just amazing and I am so happy that I went with a fine-line tattoo for this occasion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend No Regrets - everyone was so welcoming. There was a great comraderie between the artists and the whole atmosphere was amazing. Thank you!

Jade who I’ve been speaking to from the beginning has just been out of this world, so kind, attentive and helpful, always so quick to respond and help however she can. Sophie who I met on the day of my tattoo was also just so sweet, and made me feel so welcome. Atalay was my tattoo artist and I couldn’t have asked for better, he took so much time to make sure everything was perfect, checked in with me to make sure I was ok and explained to me how best to care for my tattoo afterwards, again making me and my partner feel super welcome. The talent from all of the artists at No Regrets is honestly incredible, you definitely won’t regret booking in with them! Everybody was so kind and friendly, they created a lovely atmosphere throughout my consultation and my tattoo session. During my tattoo session Flavia spoke to me about every step of the process and what she was doing. She communicated to me clearly and was a joy to be around! Fantastic experience: Just consistently brilliant. Tiago is one hell of an artist, very personable, friendly and totally understands what you're looking for. The level of detail is just incredible! Only problem now is that I have to have my other tattoos redone because they're nowhere near as good as what Tiago's done!

Fantastic experience: I have wanted a tattoo by Online (Paul Goodwin) for sometime and finally decided on a superb design he posted. Paul was class, his attention to detail, manner and skill produced a body art piece that I am proud to have adorning my skin. He took time to adjust, add to and place my design to maximise its aesthetic appearance and fit to my desired body part. Certainly ‘No regrets’ with my experience.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Dan for making me feel so comfortable for my first tattoo. He was welcoming and calm which helped make me feel so relaxed. Explained every step and ensured I was happy with every choice.

Negative experience: I got booked in for my first tattoo, during the consultation was told the estimated time (3/4h) it would take and the price. I asked the tattoo artist if it would be more if he takes longer and the hourly charge, was told it was a set price. I booked in for the tattoo. When leaving was told I have to pay over £300 more than agreed with the artist as the tattoo took 7h (it was a small fine line tattoo, the artist took breaks) I explained what was said during the consultation and the receptionist told me that this is not how they work. Ended up paying more than agreed or discussed as I hate confrontation. I felt embarrassed and taken advantage off, it was a very uncomfortable situation. Tired to get booked in for retouching as it was included in the price since a lot of the lines disappeared, was told the reception will be it touch to book me in. Never heard from them, never got the retouch. I hate the tattoo now, such a horrible experience. Would not recommend

Fantastic experience: Bako’s work is second to none. I’ve had 50+ tattoos over the years and no other artist has come close to Bako’s work. The staff at the Bristol studio are all so kind and welcoming as well. If you live in Bristol or the surrounding area and are looking for a new tattoo, then I’d highly recommend No Regrets Bristol and in particular Bako.. who is a man in demand but definitely worth the wait!

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 tattoos in the past 4 weeks with Atalay at No Regrets, Bristol, and he was incredible! From understanding the importance of the artwork to me, to the design, and then integrating one of the designs with an old tattoo. He even touched up the old to make it more in keeping with the new design. The artwork looks incredible, and the process form start to finish with the team at NRB has been so rewarding. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: As a woman of 54 I was slightly nervous about going in to No Regrets, I thought I may not be cool enough. How wrong I was! Crimson was so welcoming, helpful and just lovely. I explained the design I wanted and she suggested a couple of artists. I decided on Atalay in the end. What a talent. He was amazing. Six hours in the chair with lots of breaks and plenty of tea. It was an amazing experience watching him work and witnessing the pride he takes. I love my tattoo more than I can say. I said I wanted it to be beautiful, and it is. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! All the staff are super friendly! All very professional. I have a 4 day sitting and just half way through my second day with Amir who is one of the award winning tattooist here. Basically I had a big shoulder piece over 25 years ago I was really never happy with it as it just looked like a Transfer. But the amount of detail Amir has changed it to is breathtaking! Very excited for the end result which will be in the first week of January.

Fantastic experience: Only had 1/6 planned sessions at NR Bristol so far. Loved the chance to come in for a chat first, to meet the artist (Amir) and see what the vibe is. Really looking forward to the finished piece and enjoying the chats with Amir in the meantime.

Fantastic experience: Jade, Felipe, Loiz and Tembo were all very friendly and helpful in the consultations and helped explain the process to me and how they could create the tattoo from my idea. Tembo in particular was very calming, especially on the day of the appointment. I was very nervous and she gave me more than enough space and time to calm down. Overall I am really pleased with the feedback and design I received from Tembo, and the tattoo is beautiful. Special thanks to Tembo that suggested to enjoy the process. She was really gentle and I trusted her 100% on the placement and size too as she's a great artist. Friendly and professional too. Amazing experience. Not my first tattoo either.

Fantastic experience: I chose No Regrets in Bristol for my first tattoo and requested Daniel because he was an expert in blackwork. From consultation to the final tattoo my experience was excellent. Jade was super friendly in organising the appointment and answering all of my questions. On the day Daniel took great care of me, was a lovely human being and I was really happy with the end product. I requested quite a simple tattoo which I think was a doddle for an artist of his talents. He was really sympathetic to the fact that I had a lot of anxiety and put me at my ease because he was so kind and calm. I will be going back to him for my second tattoo! One note, they are not insured to have any companions upstairs so they will need to sit downstairs in the waiting room. This was not a problem in the end but just to flag to anyone else who wants to take a friend.

Fantastic experience: I'd got a few small tattoos elsewhere over the years, but I recently went to No Regrets for my first big one - a black and grey half sleeve. I arranged a consult with Vinnie to go through what it was I wanted, paid the deposit and booked in a full day of studio time. Because I wanted a full Saturday I did have to book quite a ways in advance, but if I was in a hurry I could have got a weekday slot much sooner. After placing the booking the customer service team reached out via both email and WhatsApp to make sure everything was ok, answer any questions, and in my case forward some extra reference photos I'd found over to Vinnie. On the day of the session I was worried that the design wouldn't be what I wanted, because in hindsight I didn't give anywhere near enough reference / guidance, but somehow Vinnie still managed to create an incredible design that was exactly what I wanted! He then went way above and beyond what I was expecting, staying long past the shop closing just to make sure the tattoo was finished and looking amazing! Overall I can't rate the shop & Vinnie highly enough. They are a touch on the expensive side, but at the end of the day you're going to have the art on you for the rest of your life. Spend the extra chunk of change to make sure it's done right the first time at this fantastic studio!

Fantastic experience: I chose to have my first tattoo at No Regrets in Bristol. It was a sentimental tattoo following the loss of a parent. From the point of booking, right though to having the actual tattoo done and then aftercare, they were amazing! So much care was taken during my tattoo and the level of skill was just phenomenal. My tattoo was a hand drawn sketch and the tattoo artist was able to create an exact replica. Words cannot express how grateful I am for my tattoo, its a wonderful gift to now have my dad's drawing with me always - I highly recommend anyone thinking about getting a tattoo to contact the studio

Fantastic experience: Arrived for my Tatt’s at 11am and Dan was waiting for me, ready to start straight away. Initially attended for a consultation a few weeks prior to go through my design needs to ensure I was happy. My overall experience with No Rergrets tattoo has been amazing, and I’m so pleased with my unbelievably good tattoo. Dan very clearly takes his time and evidently takes a lot of pride in his work. He sticks his headphones in and starts the magic! Absolutely will be booking in for my next one soon!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo done by ruth and it was amazing!! not only did she nail the design, but the communication the entire time was really good! When I was actually getting tattooed she was so lovely and also was checking how I was doing with the pain which was super nice!! The tattoo also came out absolutely AMAZING! Everything about the experience was 10/10 I couldn’t have asked for better :)

Thank you Tiago. See you again soon. The consultancy by Crimson and Rosie was spot on. They will align you with a tattoo artist for what you want done. Always talking and having a laugh with you. Sophie who is usually on front desk is exactly the same. Polite, offers you cups of tea or coffee.. Nothing is too much at Bristol to help you out. Exceptional service from all. Always want to see the tattoo after as well.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of getting a portrait of my dog who sadly past away, I was nervous as I was worried it would not look like him, but there was nothing to be worried about, I absolutely love it! Felipe done an amazing job! He was so friendly and professional! Definitely recommend. All the staff were very welcoming.

Positive experience: I am a Japanese student studying in the UK, and I recently got a tattoo from Berk as a special memory of my time here. The process was as follows: • I booked online and was contacted by the shop to arrange a consultation date. • During the consultation, I paid a non-refundable £150 deposit to reserve the slot (in my case via an online payment link). • The tattoo date was then confirmed. • On the day, I paid the remaining balance and received the tattoo. Positive points: The shop atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff were excellent . Even when I had to reschedule or when I arrived about 15 minutes late on the day, they were very kind and accommodating. Points of concern: The price felt a bit high. For a tattoo about the size of a cigarette pack on my upper arm, the estimate was £390 for 3 hours. In reality, the session was completed in around 1 hour. I understand that some of the cost may cover the reserved time, but it might be more helpful for customers if the estimate provided during the consultation could better reflect the expected tattooing time. That being said, I am very happy with the final result and it was a wonderful experience overall. Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at No Regrets. It was my first ever tattoo and so I was very nervous and everyone was very helpful. The consultation was great and the studio itself was lovely! My artist was Felipe Cachopa and he did a lovely piece of work doing a realistic tattoo of Mount Kilimanjaro for me :) I would definitely come to this studio again!

It was my first tattoo but thanks to his dedication and passion for what he does, I felt in capable hands and I didn’t feel any concern or feel. Btw my tattoo is superb and exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend everything!

Fantastic experience: I've now had three pieces done at No Regrets by Daniel Barreto, and I couldn't be any more over the moon with the experiences I've had. Daniel is a fantastic artist. I trust him completely with my ideas because he not only listens carefully to what I want, but he's also honest about what will work and what won't work - whether that's related to the design, placement, or symmetry. That honesty is so important when you're getting something permanent on your body. I also trust him to add his own creative spin to a design and make it unique. Oftentimes, the tattoo has turned out even better than I had imagined because I was open to giving him creative freedom, and his input added that extra flair the tattoo needed. What stands out most is that Daniel is genuinely invested in his work. He's very focused and takes the time needed to make sure every detail is right and it is made clear that the quality of the work comes first. That level of care and fairness really stood out to me. His precision, shading, and eye for detail are exceptional, and all of my tattoos have healed beautifully thanks to his technique and clear aftercare advice. His hygiene standards are meticulous and thorough, which really puts your mind at ease. The studio itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The booking process was easy and methodical - Crimson was incredibly helpful in overseeing the process, managing expectations, answering my questions, and making sure everything was organised properly. On the day of tattooing, Alex and Jack at reception were welcoming, often offering a hot drink before I got started, which made the whole experience that much more comfortable. I saw a variety of amazing designs in progress, each with its own distinct style, and there was a real sense of community amongst the artists as they consulted one another, bounced back ideas, and created a genuinely supportive vibe. The tattoo artists here are *incredibly* talented and skilled, and they deserve all the recognition and work they can get. I am incredibly grateful for my tattoos, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the studio to anyone wanting to invest in getting high quality art on their body. 10/10 — would recommend. Keep up the good work!

Positive experience: The tattoo artist I worked with was talented and proficient. I should note that I was having a full sleeve tattoo done with lots of black work, my comments reflect that. I don't believe a policy of show up on the morning of your appointment and only then you will see the design and you'll be able to make small changes to it before getting tattooed worked for me - this rattled me from the start but I ignored it and decided to press ahead. I believe most people getting a tattoo, and the artist/studio, would benefit from the option of another paid session of design discussion and amendments for anything complex - I would have paid for it, I guess I could have asked for it, but I might have lost my booking times of two consecutive days if I had, so I felt some pressure - to be clear, not from anyone in the studio, it was pressure I put on myself, as it was costing me to be in Bristol for two days accommodation and travel, and felt I would have imposed on the tattoo artist's time. I had two days - 11am-5pm - of work done and nearing the end of the second day the tattoo artist suggested changing the agreed design and I acquiesced, but, again, felt rattled about it. We were running out of time, and he was doing what he could to finish but with less complex work than what we agreed on in the initial design. We finished 1.5 hours early. At £800 a day it's not about the money, it's about the commitment, I guess. The work done is first rate, but not complete, as we ran out of time. I will need to get more work done to get to where I'd hoped to be. I would go back, if I do I will ask to have a more extended design/review time, and be prepared to pay for it.
