Fantastic experience: Went for a flat and rook piercing today. Rook was a little spicy but to be expected. Matt as always is fab. So quick and efficient that I was in and out in 10 minutes. Tells you what he's doing every step of the way. I'm thrilled with them so thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: Had to pop back in for them to pull out the back of my daughter's ear stud which has started getting stuck in her lobe, it was quite stuck but he was quick and so lovely and gave her studs with flat backs to make sure it doesn't happen again. Great place and team, highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Hands down the BEST studio around! Mr Personality is on a completely different level. I’ve had both piercings and tattoos done here, and every single visit has been incredible. The whole team is unbelievably professional, but also so warm, friendly, and genuinely excited to welcome you in. You feel looked after from the second you walk through the door. The studio is spotless — genuinely one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been. The piercers and tattooists check in with you constantly, making sure you’re comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying the experience. Their care and attention make such a difference. I also have to mention Molly — she is unbelievably talented. She puts so much time and effort into designing exactly what you want, making sure every detail is perfect. You can tell she truly cares about bringing your ideas to life, and her creativity and skill shine through in everything she does. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. They’ve earned my trust a hundred times over, and I recommend them to absolutely everyone.

Negative experience: performed a tongue piercing on a 13 year old girl then allowed it to be filmed and posted online by her guardian - illegal and irresponsible - avoid

Fantastic experience: Had my rook and helix pierced with Matt today, fantastic experience from start to finish, minimal pain on piercing and talked me through the piercing during the process which was reassuring. The lady welcoming me on arrival was really lovely too, she had her rook pierced recently too so was nice for some positive feedback from her experience. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in and was a swift experience. My helix had previously healed after been pierced but with a gun many years ago which had shattered my cartilage, Matt kindly re pierced this with a needle which barely hurt. Would highly recommend getting pierced by Matt here, thankyou!

Was greeted by matt who was absolutely brilliant he did talk me into having my nose pierced which iv wanted for a long time he was very chatty and soo much fun which made me at ease even though I was scared. Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter went today, her for her third ear holes and me for my nose. We found them very friendly and they calmed nerves well. Was happy with the service, and aftercare advice. Was also very interesting to find out this was the best way to have things pierced, with the previous place my daughter had piercings having used a cannula needle instead, which I've since learnt can cause more trauma. Will be keeping an eye on offers for next time, as my little pin cushion daughter is not done getting holes in her face yet

Fantastic experience: Popped in to buy a earring but it had already started to heal so Matt had to repierce it to get it in so it didn't cause anymore damage. He was so lovely and very professional about it and explained why it would be better to do this. All the staff I met were lovely and made me feel at ease. I will definitely be going again! Negative experience: Ben, one of the “artists” who works for MR Personality is the most unprofessional and quite frankly rude tattooist I have ever dealt with. I was enquiring about getting a tattoo at MR Personality as I was going off of other inaccurate positive reviews. My experience started when I messaged the business group chat asking for a price on a design and if I could potentially book in for December the 8th if they had availability. Ben replied to the message and said he would get back to me and took a full day to reply. Once he finally replied, all he sent over was his bank details with no context, and asked me to send him over a deposit of £30 to “get this booked In” for 8th December. I then sent him the money at 1pm as I was in work and rushed into it. I wasn’t used to dealing with tattoo studios so I thought this was part of the normal process and he might start replying quicker. I then told my girlfriend I had a tattoo booked and she mentioned that she had already bought me a tattoo for my Birthday and not to book one. I then got straight in touch with Ben straight after sending the money, telling him about the situation and asking him to send me my £30 back as I clearly made a mistake, I also knew he didn’t start the design or even think about starting the design, as I mentioned I booked in for 8th of December which is plenty of time and got back to him within a couple of hours letting him know I couldn’t make the booking. I messaged with an extremely polite explanation as to why I couldn’t take the booking and he completely ignored me and took days to reply to my message. When he did reply he sent sarcastic cocky comments stating why he will not be refunding me my £30 and that he has a none refund policy, which he DID NOT MENTION when asking me for the deposit. He also stated “he can do what he wants” and he is self employed and only owns a chair in the studio so they can’t tell him what to do either. He said my only choice is to keep the booking, move it to another date or loose my £30. I then explained my frustrations and got nothing back but sarcastic cocky comments again just asking me to refer to his previous messages. He found it funny that he had just robbed someone out of £30 within the same day booking. straight away realised it was a mistake even considering booking with this guy and I was dealing with an unprofessional idiot. I called up the studio and spoke to Matt who was very professional and said he would not talk to his customers like Ben does, I also spoke to Pat the owner of the studio who said he would sort my refund and speak to Ben. Clearly Ben was right when he said he can do what he wants in the studio as he then messaged through the group chat again laughing at the fact I had spoke to other people about the matter and again stating he will not refund me my money and he has no intention in helping me out or working with me and he then blocked me on Facebook. Ben does not explain to people that his deposits are none refundable and for people who are new to tattoos this is how he clearly earns his extra cash. Anyone with human decency would have sent the money back knowing full well they haven’t started the design and as the booking was in 3 months time he didn’t even have to think about the design so it did not inconvenience him whatsoever. I didn’t even send him the full design!! Anyone thinking about booking with Ben, please reconsider as you will not have a positive experience he is the most selfish, cocky and sarcastic human I have ever spoke to and I hope he gets his bad Karma.

I’m so happy with how they look, thank you so much The sweetest team super friendly, professional and overall just lovely humans x

Fantastic experience: Where to start Walked in and was greeted by Matt and Adam. Originally came for two walk in tattoos. Adam tattood my friend and boyfriend and both came out absolutely amazing. Ended up getting new piercings myself by Matt. He was absolutely excellent, incredibly funny and made us all feel so welcome. I got my lobes and both nipples. He was absolutely brilliant throughout both services and made it very professional when actually piercing. Afterwards a lovely lady called Charlotte came in and I provided emotional support throughout her nose piercing service aswell Overall very friendly, professional and excellent results. Thankyou so much to Matt for my piercings you were absolutely brilliant ! Ended in a very eventful and fun afternoon!

Negative experience: Awful! Went there a few months ago and everything was a disaster, got 3 piercings which all rejected and was given no advice on how to properly care for my piercings after. When I was having my piercings done, I was put into a room with another person topless getting a tattoo done. I was left very uncomfortable. Not only this but i heard many profanities being shouted by your employees so that everyone in the waiting room could hear. I won’t be going here again and I don’t recommend you do either.

Negative experience: Charged my daughter double the price she was quoted. The work took 1 hour and the owner was very aggressive +tried to scare her with 'The Police' when she asked why it was double especially for such a small piece. She paid in full but we have since found that this is considered very bad practice and possibly illegal. For context my daughter has a mild learning difficulty and comes across as naive (though she is far from so). I hope this isnt the reason she was treated like this but she feels it a strong possibility.

Fantastic experience: I had few tattoos there over 20 years ago and Booked my eldest in on there 18th birthday paid immediate deposit to Ben through fb, we showed up early to make sure we didn't waste anyone's time, Ben didn't show up for work, laura called round trying to get it sorted as she had her own clients booked in, he didn't show he took over an hour to refund my deposit, but laura saved the day she not only managed to squeeze them in she did an outstanding job it's absolutely beautiful and she saved his 18th birthday from being ruined, so I would 100% recommend Mr personality, I would not recommend booking with Ben though I'm sure he does great work but unfortunately we didn't get chance to see for ourselves

Very well priced services, amazing quality designs and finished products. Brilliant atmosphere, everyone gets along well, lots of banter to put me at ease with getting my ears pierced, getting my first tattoo and my subsequent ones.
