Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo last year at age of 67 and all the staff at Old Empire Tattoos were so helpful they made me feel so welcome as though I had been going there for years. I have use an electric wheelchair and they went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable. The tattoos that Emma put on are amazing and her patience was infanent. I would highly recommend Emma. I ended up getting 4 tattoos one one each shoulder one on my leg and a big one on my back

The owner, Joel, is very friendly and makes sure everything is clearly explained before starting the tattoo. He also gives great aftercare instructions. I’ve had four tattoos done here by Joel, Emma, and Dylan — and I absolutely love all of them! Highly recommend Old Empire Tattoos to anyone looking for quality work and a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been to this shop for all of my tattoos I have 6 currently and this shop did them all. They did them really well and they healed perfectly. Their customer service is amazing and it’s always a good vibe/laugh in this shop. Old empire has become my go to tattoo shop and I love the work they do. They arent over expensive either. They do amazing work and always make you feel comfortable. I love this shop and the tattoo artists and the other body artists (piercing,etc…) are all really nice and will make conversation if you have to wait whilst they finish setting up. As said this is my go to tattoo shop.

Negative experience: Last time I was in this studio I witnessed Joel the owner make inappropriate comments about how his female staff should dress stating 'they should wear makeup and attractive clothing' as they offer beauty services. I also witnessed his bully his younger female staff. He paused a tattoo mid session to preach about 'superior races' and he changed the design that was on the stencil and approved by the client mid tattoo without informing them. The ladies at the local supermarket are very familiar with Joel and his studio and can tell you many a horror story. Awful business. Bad tattoos. Vile owner. Would not ever recommend.

Negative experience: Well where do I start? This person relates to a “civil action” bought against ourselves, took us to small claims. The case number is L9QZ39Z0. There is reviews pertaining to this case. And yes, I am the business named in this “civil matter. My business is hogdoc motorcycles in Heywood Lancashire. Feel free to use google, go to the small claims court website and research the above mentioned case. You will! See the case was dismissed on all counts in my, hogdoc motorcycles, favour against this business old empire ratio and its owner. This person has gone out of their way to slander my business to all, however it has been proven in a court of law I was in the right at all times. This company think they are “above the law” they boast about being “bare knuckle gypsy” fighting men. They boast about being part of a 1% mc!!! However they come unstuck when reality comes to play. But! Don’t take my work for it, read the true facts. Again case reference L9QZ39Z0. Are you sure you wish to have permanent ink from this company??? You’ve been warned.

I originally only went in for my belly button pierced, the lady who did that was very happy and made sure I knew what was going on the whole time. However I walked out with a a tattoo aswell.
