Negative experience: Extremely dissatisfied. The tongue piercing was crooked and looked nothing like the reference photo I provided. I was asked about the placement and said I wanted it further forward. It was only moved slightly, and I was then asked to check it with my tongue out. I had no experience and trusted their judgement. After the piercing, my mouth was full of blood — how exactly was I supposed to properly check the placement or feel satisfied in that condition? The work itself was unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I contacted them on Facebook afterward, I was spoken to very poorly and was threatened with my video being shared publicly. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I took my piercing out because it was crooked, not because I wanted something for free. If I was after a freebie, I wouldn’t have done that. Saying I left a bad review just to get something free is not true.

Negative experience: Got my seconds pierced (lobe). They’re not equally spaced and one is higher than the other. Excessive amount of bleeding which isn’t normal for just a lobe piercing. Spoke to Paul over the phone about it and he had told me I could have it redone free of charge. Asked me to send a picture over on WhatsApp and then told me I have to pay again if I want it redone. He has a real bad attitude too. He then ignored my future messages. My ear had badly bruised but it wasn’t bruised near the new piercing and his response was quite blunt. Didn’t feel at all comfortable coming into his shop, not sure why I went ahead with it but definitely won’t be returning again.

Fantastic experience: sick place the piercer there is a legend she was able to re-pierce my dermal that been stuck in my face for a year literally gave me my confidence back and it’s healing perfectly, thank you will definitely come for any future piercings.

Negative experience: I got my nose repierced here and it was a horrible experience. The piercer rushed the job, made up the price on the spot (different from what’s on the website) and when I asked about it she said “we don’t use the website”. (So why is it there?) They used a bar that was way too short — it started embedding within a DAY and kept bleeding. When I went back worried, they brushed me off and didn’t even look properly. I had to actually argue with the person to get it changed because she kept saying “it’s fine it’s, long enough “ while the ball was quite literally sunk into my nose. I went to another piercing studio to try get it replaced but they couldn’t get it out because they didn’t know what type of jewellery it was, they also confirmed it was pierced in the wrong place and that the jewelry size they used was unsafe for fresh piercings. Staff were rude, (the lady was trying to be nice even tho she brushed me off at first) unprofessional, They made me pay again for basically a full piercing price even though it was their own mistake for not checking my anatomy and giving me the wrong bar in the first place. (And it was just a replacement) Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Go somewhere professional instead. (There’s also other reviews saying the same)

Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service here, jenna did my ear piercings and my girlfriends bridge piercing and they both came out amazing, no pain atall and i’m usually really squeemish, highly recommended for first timers or anyone, and will definitely be back to get some tattoos done!

Negative experience: Both my friend and I got our third lobes pierced, but we had to mark the piercings ourselves – as a result, they ended up wonky. I’ve been here before when they had a different piercer last year and had no problems, but after this experience, I’d probably avoid coming back. :/ Update: Since I can’t reply to your comment – I was only given the option to mark the piercing myself; she didn’t even attempt to do it. The same goes for my friend. It’s not our fault that the markings were uneven – that should be the piercer’s responsibility. Totally unprofessional replies from you, repeatedly responding to bad reviews this way. I’d encourage you to actually listen to your customers and take their feedback on board, instead of blaming them or suggesting reviews are fake because you have “the best prices.” Massively negligent.

Negative experience: Honestly, I had a terrible experience. The actual piercing was way more painful than it should’ve been. I’ve had piercings before, but this one felt completely off. What really scared me, though, was how much my nose bled. I get that a little bleeding can happen, but this was not normal it was literally gushing. When I got home, my nose was still bleeding and the pain only got worse I later noticed the piercing was starting to sink into my skin turns out the jewelry they used was too short. The next day, I went to a different tattoo studio to get it checked, and thank god I did because I got told if I left it longer I would’ve had to get it medically removed, and as soon as I got it replaced the pain was gone. I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to for this one because it’s a safety concern, it’s not fair on the people that walk in and put their trust in you

Negative experience: had a helix done here that bled aggressively which, while not unheard of for piercings, was concerning because I have seven other piercings (including another helix done previously, located about half a centimetre above), and none of them bled anywhere near to the extent of this one. I was handed two paper towels to hold against it, and it continued to bleed on the way home. Today, while getting new piercings from my regular piercer, this one was assessed. I was informed that it had been done with a larger needle but fitted with smaller jewellery, and that this isn’t unheard of with piercings coming from this studio. The jewellery used was too thin for the hole, which explained the bleeding and can cause unnecessary movement, irritation, prolonged healing, and an increased risk of rejection or infection. I was never informed of the gauge mismatch, and the aftercare guidance provided was minimal at best. Overall, I found this experience disappointing and felt that more care and communication should have been provided, I would advise others to be cautious before going ahead.

I was so happy with the results! They were professional, quick and really welcoming. I felt barely anything and wasn’t in pain after, would definitely come back again and recommend for others.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! Walked in (on a Monday) and was able to get my tattoo straight away. It was a simple design but custom and it came out absolutely perfect! Negative experience: Me and my friend came in for helix piercings and both ended up on antibiotics and in A&E to have them removed due to server infection and swelling the next day. We have multiple ear piercing all cared for the exact same way and never had a problem, the only difference is that we tried this place as our usual piercers wasn’t open that day… big mistake. I am now scared to get anymore piercings as a result of this situation

Fantastic experience: Got my back tattoo done with Paul, I am so happy with how it has turned out he did an amazing job and listened to exactly what I wanted. I was quite nervous for my back being done at first but he made me feel really at ease and it was completely fine! Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner came in for piercings and I have also had multiple tattoos too from Paul and the piercings were by him also. Customer service, and results of the work were top level and so much we would return for more work.

Negative experience: Got a septum piercing done. The guy pierced it too low and on my cartilage instead of the soft spot. Couldn’t heal for 6 months and had to get rid of it.

Negative experience: Tattoo was put upside down and he tore my skin , didn't wrap my arm after tattoo or use any alcohol felt rushed and I question his ability hve also hade to get a cover up to hide the scarring and bad art work

Positive experience: got my nipples pierced today (20th jan) the woman was lovely sadly didn’t get her name, but she was very nice and talked me through everything. When i’ve got home i’ve looked at the piercing and have noticed one is pierced diagonally almost coming out the front of my nipple. I don’t want the piercer to get in any trouble but was just wondering if i could get a refund for the one that’s wrong as i’m going to have to get it re pierced once healed or if i could come back to the shop once it’s healed and get it redone?

Fantastic experience: Got my septum and lip pierced at Tattitude . Septum in December 2024 and lip in Jan 2025 ! Both times I was met by a lovely staff that took their time with me and made sure my experience would be as pleasant as possible whilst getting your face stabbed with a needle This will forever be my go to place now! Even tho I have to travel from Norway I would highly recommend Tattitude !

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend this place more! Lucas was incredibly patient with us as my sister struggles with tattoos and needs regular breaks. He was super understanding and regularly checked in to make sure she was doing okay. He worked with us to ensure the tattoo was the right size/ style and suited us well. We got matching tattoos together for meaningful reasons and he made the overall experience perfect. Will definitely be back to see him again. The shop was also spotless, clean, tidy and relaxing. Very happy with the experience!

Fantastic experience: got nipple piercings a day after my 18th as a walk in, was spoken to straight away, the woman who did them was absolutely amazing, I obviously was nervous but she took so much care and spoke me through every step. it hurt like a mf as expected but she hyped me up so much I loved it she was so understanding and profession as well as funny and I would only recommend going here!! no infection and perfectly healed after 2 weeks. thank you so much

Fantastic experience: Came in with my friend as a walk in, was acknowledged straight away. Was spoken to about what we wanted (nose for me, 3rd lobe for my friend), and my friend was reassured as she was anxious about it being too near cartilage. Was so friendly and chatty which really eased any nerves. Disinfected areas beforehand, and very calming manner when doing the piercing. Quick and simple, explained aftercare. Also got some advice about some tattoo cover ups. Great customer service, and very happy with the piercing. Would recommend and use again.

Negative experience: Industrial piercing gone wrong. (Split ear) Went for an industrial piercing on the 21st September. Claimed my ear was quite small prior to sitting down in the seat. Then I sit down and the lady is suprised despite my previous worry. I wouldve much rather have been turned away and told i lack the anatomy for an industial piercing. Shes showing me all the bars. The smallest being too small and the 2nd smallest being HUGE! Felt quite rushed into making a decision. Wasnt even shown the markings and wether or not i was happy with the placement. Which is i believe a common procedure everywhere. She goes onto claiming shes never done an industrial onto the left ear, the clear unconfidence while putting a needle to someones ear is crazy! The tattooist (i believe) came around and said "it doesnt look right" and faffed around with it which was also a scary moment. Fast forward 4 or so weeks and my ear has split open! The piercing was placed far to close to the edge of my ear it seems. I dont even think the TATTOO aftercare sheet she gave me instead of a piercing after care sheet would have prevented this. After having a bridge piercing and labret piercing done by the same establishment im in shock this has even happened.

Negative experience: Posting so that others can avoid! Extremely unhappy with the service I received and the outcome of my tattoo. Paul did my 1st tattoo wonky and when I pointed this out he tried to make me feel like I was wrong. He was talking to other customers whilst doing my tattoo and was distracted and it felt rushed. He was rude, abrupt, and borderline gaslighted me into believing that it was the design that I provided which was the issue and not his work (I've attached photos to show that this is not the case) Before my 2nd tattoo I went to discuss with my friend due to feeling uncertain after the quality of the first one he had done. He pressured me into making a decision and interrupted my conversation saying "I don't mean to rush you but I've got a wedding to get to". I came back in later on in the day when Paul was not there and spoke to his colleagues about the issue. They stated “Paul can be like that sometimes” I wasn’t asked to sign any consent form (which is a legal requirement) and no refund policy was explained to me. They have declined to give me a refund and have been extremely unhelpful.

Negative experience: I am posting this review as we have tried to resolve the issue with the owner Paul who tattooed us yesterday, he however chose to put the phone down on my husband. As a warning for others avoid this tattoo shop. My husband and I decided to get matching tattoos for our anniversary with each others names. On entering the shop we were asked what we wanted, Paul drew up a rough sketch and quoted us a price of £80 each, my husband asked if that was it for the design and Paul said no it would be more jazzed up, we were told cash only so my husband went across the road to the cash machine. I waited by the doorway Paul began having a heated discussion with another employee, the employee pointed out not in front of the customer to which I got up and walked outside to wait for my husband to return and we walked back in the shop together, paid and signed the consent forms. From there my husband had his tattoo done first, this took no more than 5 minutes to do, my husband noticed the name didn't look right and as he tried to point it out Paul told not to touch it and put more aftercare cream over the error he clearly made to continue to hide it, the whole experience felt rushed once we had handed our money over and our tattoos were covered with a black wrap. A couple of hours later we removed the wrap and noticed the mistakes made, I messaged the business facebook page straight away explaining the issues to which my message was read and not responded too. On my husband's tattoo there is a problem with the name where the r & i have been joined together in 2 points making it unreadable, also the line at the bottom of the heart goes further than it is supposed to, and on my tattoo the lettering doesn't follow the same handwriting style throughout the name and the shape of the heart is uneven. We went back into the shop this morning, Paul wasn't there so we were given a number to which my husband messaged explaining the issues and sent pictures. Paul rang my husband stating the writing was correct and that is just the style of writing, when my husband mentioned the line on the heart being overdrawn Paul said this was due to it being an hand drawn tattoo, however this wasn't on the stencil. Paul then went on to accuse us of being intoxicated and put the phone down. He then sent my husband a message to say he will be reviewing the CCTV. I'm not sure what he hopes to achieve from this other than validating our experience. From the photos you can see the quality of the work that Paul seems happy to put his name too. I can ensure you that these tattoos are definitely not worth £80 each and for the quality to be this badly done by an artist of 16 years is truly shocking. As for the accusations of being drunk, Paul had no issues taking our money and providing the service, I am more than happy for him to share his CCTV recording if he thinks that validates his work in some way.

Fantastic experience: I came in as a walk in client and within 30 mins Emma had changed my nose stud to a ring peirced the other side of my nose and pierced my lip. She was absolutely brilliant. Very hygienic and knowledgeable and to find she was also trained on site gave me so much confidence in her. She made my experience really positive and caused as little pain as possible. I can't wait to come back again. My pic is from the day after and there's barely any swelling

Negative experience: Bad artist couldnt do simple line work and overpriced for how bad they are. Dont go and if you do, dont go to paul. Tattoo was rushed for no reason. Shading was atrocious. If u want good art dont go here. They do not care. I shouldve took the hint when a man came in outraged about his tattoo but i figured he would atleast be able to do simple lines. Honestly sad.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in spontaneously at the tail end of a 24hr stint in Manchester with a friend visiting from New Zealand, after deciding we wanted to get tiny matching tattoos as a reminder of our time. We were half expecting to get turned away given we were wanting something then and there, but these guys were awesome and had all three of us drawn up, stencilled and out the door within an hour. Thanks so much for getting us sorted! We’re stoked!

Negative experience: *UPDATE as I cannot reply to your comment. I have attached photos of the tattoos. - Infinity symbol on my wrist with my family's initials - Woman hugging herself with flowers as her head above my elbow Doesn't even deserve the one star. I was rushed and the tattoos didnt come out well at all and they have healed horribly. My tattoo was simple, yet they are terrible. He clearly doesn't know how to tattoo dark skin - which is hilarious seeing as he placed emphasis on how he is a tattoo artist not a tattooist? I visited another tattoo shop for a cover up and they couldn't even save it. They suggested a removal. I have contacted this studio on numerous occasions and I have just been ignored. I even came back to Manchester to resolve this issue and he still hasn't contacted me, neither has the owner. This is my last resort to get their attention on this.

Negative experience: got an ear piercing a few weeks ago, positioning was dreadful to begin with. even after following all the cleaning precautions every day, it ended up very very infected and i’ve now been left with a keloid scar. my friends who got piercings at the same time too have had nothing but issues. it’s a shame because he seemed pretty nice. would NEVER recommend here.

Negative experience: She is great at taking and over charging you. After one re ink she decides to block me on instagram. I was very polite and patient with her. How is she even an artist. She is over priced and has no professionalism about her. Absolutely appalling. You can get better quality artist who doesn’t over charge or blocks you instead of facing the concern or issue. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Tattitude Manchester. I was visiting from United States, and came in as a walk-in for a simple tattoo. They were very warm and welcoming, and happy to fit me in. I am very pleased with my tattoo. My tattoo artist, Maria, was professional and friendly, and did an excellent job. My tattoo was quite simple, so I can’t speak to their more detailed work. However, I would highly recommend Maria, and this tattoo studio, to anyone visiting and local.

Negative experience: Went here for my first tattoo with Maria, was an absolutely amazing first experience she was lovely and did and amazing job. My second visit I was with Paul who rushed my and my friends tattoos, he completed mine in under 10 minutes and did an awfull job that is now going to need fixing. A friend of ours posted a video of the tattoos online which gained a lot of attention, we all received phone calls from Paul the next day very aggressively threatening legal action if we did not delete the video and talking about how he had video evidence of us moving about while getting it done which he was “advised not to show us” by his “legal team”. Paul is clearly capable of doing his job from other reviews it just seems to be that some days he just decides he can’t be arsed sadly this has resulted to what looks like a permanent child’s scribbles on my arm. Strongly suggest going elsewhere

Negative experience: Seemingly boasting some good artists at this shop. However do not get tattooed by any artists here if you haven't seen their work directly!
