Fantastic experience: Jesse is the man. It was my first tattoo ever. Created a custom design and showed it to Jesse he did the work above and beyond. So happy with the service and how amazing the tattoo turned out❤️.

Negative experience: How this place has a 4.9 rating is beyond me. Sammy messed my neck up so bad that Ive had to black out my adams apple. When they put on the final stencil, I had Sammy, the Owner, and another art give me the . A place that gaslights their customers into thinking the placement of the stencil is good, doesn't deserve any amount of respect in the industry. I felt genuinely abused after getting home and taking a look at the horror they put on my neck. Please dont ever go here. It is a studio of scratch artists and people who tattoo as a hobby they're poor at. Attatched are the receipts. The cover up was OBVIOUSLY done by other artists. No one at Lakeside could even hope to get close to something similar The only positive thing I have ripped from this experience is the importance of standing up for yourself to say "nah that placement is wrong, you did it wrong". Its their profession so I thought, who am I to question THREE PEOPLE TELLING ME ITS GOOD. Welp, thanks for the increase in self-respect and assertion I got from y'all!

Fantastic experience: i got my first tattoo here with sammy and it was amazing! i was a bit nervous but she walked me through it, explained everything super well and made sure i was comfortable. i’m so happy with my tattoo and i will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: I got three little tattoos done today by Madelyn and she was so incredible to work with! The location is so beautiful and bright and welcoming, everyone who works here is so lovely, kind patient and attentive. Madelyn was so kind about making any little changes I wanted on the spot to my design to make sure I loved it. Super quick and painless! Incredible attention to detail, very clean line work and they are super contentious about a clean sterile workspace!! Highly recommend! I will be back for future tattoos.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Lakeside Ink, and they were so accommodating when my mom and I arrived as walk-ins. Lisa was the one who tattooed us and she was fantastic !! We were both surprised by the affordable price—just $100 each for two tattoos each. I will most certainly be coming back!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a few times for piercing with DD and every time she never ceases to amaze me. Even piercings that have a higher pain rating she does so well it feels like it didn’t hurt at all. She’s so thorough while also doing it in a very timely manner. Amazing :)

Not only is she incredibly talented, but she makes you feel super comfortable and is very helpful with placement and explaining her process! Everyone at lakeside is amazing and kind and the vibes in the shop are always the best!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to lakeside for about a year and a half now and they have become more like family than a tattoo shop. Jesse was my artist for the better part of my first year getting tattoos there and always made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted while having an amazing and safe experience ( and a lot of laughs !:). Sammy has been doing my tattoos for a while now and I couldn’t be more happy with how every single one has turned out. The amount of times I have texted her with an idea and she’s some how made an amazing art piece out of it to tattoo on me too many to count, it’d also just an amazing bonus that we get to joke around and talk about anything and everything while I’m there, feels like I’m hanging out with friends rather than getting a service done. Lakeside is also a very organized shop, I find never having to stress about appointments or anything, they always have everything planned out so that when I get there it is a stress free session. Very thankful for this studio as not only have they been able to do amazing art work on me but are also the kindest souls, highly highly recommend lakeside, you won’t find a better tattoo shop:)

Fantastic experience: Had three ear piercings done by Demi and I'm so happy I made the trip to Barrie. No swelling, no infection. Demi was so kind and understanding about my fear of needles. My earlobe piercings were chronically infected when they were done with a gun at Claire's and eventually I just let them close up. Having piercings done with a needle is so much better!!

Fantastic experience: The staff, the atmosphere, the art. This is the best place to get tattooed. Owners, Lisa & Jesse, are personable, welcoming, and kind. Ella is incredible and has done all of my fine line pieces.

Fantastic experience: The service was great from start to finish and I was very impressed with the work that was done to. The artist was very courties and pleasant to deal with. He was willing to explain what he was going to do. If he thought there was some detail that could make the tattoo look better, he would tell what it may be and why he thought so. He would always check to see if the person was ok and ask if you felt OK to. I would highly recommend him to others. Ask for Ricardo he does amazing work. This was my first tattoo at this place, so I can't say how the others are from my experience, but I imagine they are very good too.

Fantastic experience: I got my conch and rook pierced here while I was in town for the Barrie Butter Tart Festival and it’s been my best piercing experience so far!! I have 2 body piercings and had 8 ear piercings(including 2 cartilage piercings) but now I’m at 10. I went in planning on getting an industrial but DD explained how that wouldn’t work with the anatomy of my ears and helped me pick 2 different piercings, and I wouldn’t have it any other way now! DD was so sweet and made it such a fun experience and these piercings have been healing so much better than my past ones!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

Positive experience: This tattoo joint is great, staff are really friendly and a cool vibe, my artist Madelyn was also great and really easy to work with. My one complaint is that even though I can get over a 40 minute delay, being charged 190 dollars for small line work from a stencil I provided and that took thirty minutes seems absurdly high. As expected, tattoo healed well with no concerns and no touch up required.

Fantastic experience: We had the most incredible experience! Not only just with our tattoo artists (Jesse & Madelyn) but with Jesse’s wonderful mother Lisa. My husband took my to get a Mother’s Day tattoo and we had previously asked the shop owner if we could bring our 3 month old daughter. When we arrived , everyone was so kind and welcoming and went above and beyond , especially for our little girl! We had the best all around experience and will be returning for any future tattoos !!

She had two different ideas for us and was open to any critique or changes we desired! The actual process was painless and she made the environment incredibly welcoming and comforting. Fantastic experience: Sam was one of an kind artist. She’s done all my tattoos. She makes me feel so comfortable. She did my recently deceased nieces tattoo and made it so special. I’m so in love with all her work. The energy and environment was amazing. Will be going back for all my tattoos.

Positive experience: Depends on who you go see for your tattoo. I have had three tattoos done at Lakeside Ink with three different artists. My most recent tattoo I had booked with an artist who had done my last tattoo, and was instead with another artist upon arriving. The tattoo didn’t turn out like the reference photo, it seemed slightly rushed and wasn’t what I was looking for. I’ll be visiting a different artist to make some changes in the future. The two other artists I had before were absolutely fantastic and I would give them both five stars, but the last tattoo I got here was not what I was expecting.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend came here to get her second tattoo. From walking in the door, we were very impressed with how professional the whole process was. Ella answered all of our questions and even spent extra time helping my girlfriend find the perfect spot for her tattoo. If you’re interested in getting your first or 100th tattoo, I’d recommend Lakeside (especially booking with Ella!). The tattoo looks amazing! You can really tell Ella has passion behind her work. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good about Lakeside and my experience there. For reference I am a 60+ year old female. From the moment I walked in to when I left I felt welcomed and valued. I’ve had a few tattoos and I’ve been made to feel I’m not cool enough to be there, not so at Lakeside. Lisa and I discussed what I wanted, and it was a prefect blend of ‘you’re the expert but I’m the customer'; she was patient and understanding until I was 100% confident about my choices. Madelyn (sorry if I misspelled) did the work and she was amazing, when I said my position was uncomfortable she helped me find one I could hold for the hour it took. She offered me breaks a couple of times, and was friendly and professional, joking just enough to put me at ease, The ambience was relaxed and soothing, in fact I dozed a little. Whether you want a lot of work, or a tiny point, you will be happy, I have no doubt.

Fantastic experience: My fiancée and I came in for a flash tattoo. The first impression was that the environment was very clean, comfortable; and above all welcoming. Jesse did several small pieces over the last few weeks on us, and going forward we are now confident that doing something more specific for us is definitely up our alley. Jesse and the team are experienced and he’s great at helping make the experience awesome. Pictures to come.

Negative experience: The tattoo I received looked terrible compared to my reference photo.. i kept great care of it, like my other tattoos but this one decided it would fade not even a week after receiving it. Unfortunately this was done by the owner & i do not feel comfortable going back to her to get her to fix it.

Negative experience: Currently looking into having a tattoo removed after having it done by Jesse. He completely rushed the process and made me feel like I had to get the tattoo done that instant even when I wasn’t sure about the design. The line work is chunky and bleeding and while it looks okay now in a few years this will look like a blurred mess

Fantastic experience: I went to Lakeside Ink after a few conversations with them online. Lisa and Jesse were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Jesse did my tattoo, a very sentimental piece I chose to honour my daughters. I am over the moon with his work! He brought my ideas to life and I couldn’t be happier. Lisa offers art classes in house, and we happily chatted about our mutual love for art. They were both strangers when I walked in and friends when I left. Will definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: I have gotten many tattoos from Lakeside Ink within the last few months. I got my first one with them when they were operating out of their home. I continued to get tattoos from then when they moved to their beautiful new studio. I get tattooed by Jesse but his mother Lisa is also an artist there. It is a fantastic clean, welcoming and beautiful studio. It has a lot of natural light which helps the artsy atmosphere! They also do paint classes and lessons and I actually had my birthday party there and they were very accommodating and me and my party guests had a wonderful time! Overall I love lakeside ink and if you go I hope you will love it too!
