Fantastic experience: I got a conch and two cartilage piercings done by Bryan. As someone who is terrified of needles, he took the time to communicate with me very thoroughly and honestly about the piercings. First time I’ve had a good experience with a needle (he’s better than most nurses at the hospital ). He also kept regulating my breathing and was very observant. I definitely recommend getting a piercing done by him!

Negative experience: Was visiting Barrie from Midland for a week and came in to get a tattoo after seeing Miguels work on IG, really cool looking shop but when I stopped in today, someone I can assume was an artist was running around the artist area screaming his head off at the cashier... Didn't stay around to see the rest of whatever was happening, kind of a red flag.

Fantastic experience: Annie is a wonderful piercer. Friendly, quick, knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend her more. I have also been pierced by Bryan in the past and he is top-notch as well. Very clean shop. Highly recommend for your piercing needs!

Fantastic experience: This was my very first tattoo. Holden was absolutely amazing. The quality of his work is incredible, and I’m beyond happy with my tattoo. If you’re considering your first tattoo, or any tattoo at all—I highly recommend Lucky Devil Tattoos, and especially Holden.

Negative experience: Was humiliated infront of clients in the waiting room for wanting matching tats, shamed and artist tried to persuade us not to. On top of that over charged and denied for behind the ear placement or collarbone placement because in her opinion it was too visible if we want it removed. $300 bucks for shitty inconsistent line work the size of a quarter. Don’t get tattooed here unless you wanna get scammed

Fantastic experience: Few months ago I went and got a nose stud. The girl was great. I’ve been meaning to get a diamond stud ( I’m a DIVA ). Today I got my diamond stud. I took out the stud that they used. I couldn’t get my diamond stud screwed in. My fat little fingers. lol. I went in and asked if they could put it in. Within 5 minutes if that I was in and out. Cost was very minimal. Definitely and Highly recommend this establishment. Friendly. Professional. Pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Came in the other day and Bryan helped me put some jewelry in that I couldn't get in myself. The process was a breeze and done within minutes. Highly recommend this tattoo shop for all your tattoo and peircing needs! Great atmosphere and good vibes. 10/10 stars

Negative experience: 1 star because none is not an option. My girlfriend came here a few weeks ago with her friends to get piercings done (she got her nose and her belly button). After a couple weeks her nose started to get a bump because of an allergic reaction to the metal, even though she supplied the piercers with specific details on what metals she was allergic to. She was also pierced with the same metal on her stomach and will now have to switch those out to. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Someone super special to me was horrified about her ear piercing after changing the hoop and loops. I googled and choose this place to recommend, that she goes and gets someone to her her deal with removing this problem. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable! Inviting, clean and proper run business

Negative experience: Was visiting from the UK went in for a very small finger tattoo, it was a sun so literally a tiny circle with 6 lines coming off it. Was charged $160+ & the tattoo came in within a week Would not recommend

Fantastic experience: I just got my eyebrow pierced today by a lady named Annie and she did an amazing job— shes very down to earth and she helped distract me from the needle and doing breathing together really helped she definitely knows what shes doing too and I like that. shes also very clear on whats going to happen and she didn't surprize me with the needle all of a sudden. shes super nice and definitely would get a piercing again at Lucky Devil by her. I am impressed. edit: got my septum too, she did an awesome job this time around too!

Fantastic experience: Brandon did an amazing job, I came for a walk-in on a whim and he spent some time with me asking me about what I was I was thinking, other ideas I had an we got down to collaborating on some ideas. This was my first tattoo and I was so nervous and excited, but he made me feel at ease and calm. He put together an initial design based on my ideas and he put a good spin on it, traditional american is exactly what I wanted and that's what he specializes in. He refined his design based on my feedback right next to me a couple of times, and I trusted his judgement and stylistic elements. He was patient with me and I'm superrrrrrrr happy with the results, I would absolutely come back up to get tatted by him again.

Fantastic experience: i went to go see Annie, she did my belly button and bridge piercings. i love them so much. they are healing good. i finally got to change my piercing after a month and they still look good. will definitely come back to get anything els i need and maybe some new tattos. <3 thanks peeps. <3

Negative experience: I went in to get my tongue pierced, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t go as expected. They used a barbell that was too short, which is a big concern—especially for a fresh tongue piercing that naturally swells. This can lead to discomfort, complications, or even rejection of the piercing. I wish there had been more attention to proper procedure or anatomy. I hope the studio takes feedback like this seriously and ensures their piercers are using appropriate jewelry sizes for initial piercings.

Fantastic experience: Wow, just simple WOW. I got an amazing piece from Lorin. I showed up to Lucky Devil as a walk in and was instantly impressed by their front clerk. Was asked questions about my expectations so to match me with the right artist. Lorin was called in (I guess in stand by idk) so she wasn’t there upon opening but was given full transparency that she wasn’t book and was going to be there soon. When Lorin arrived she jumped right in. I showed her a few concepts from Pinterest and Google. She took these and did her thing. She came out with a beautiful image. If I was looking for a piece for somewhere else on my body I absolutely would have worn it. But I didn’t feel like it was suitable for where I wanted. Lorin didn’t bat an eye, didn’t try to sell me on the image she took an hour to design, I was almost leaning to get it cause I felt bad that she spent so much time on it but she encouraged me not to just settle. She looked at the images again asked a few more questions and went into the land of design. When she reappeared, she was getting the image settled to print to size and I caught just a glimpse and knew then “That’s Going on my body”. I went and look at her final design and absolutely loved it. She sized it perfectly and made sure I was happy. Lorin was amazing, easy to get along, made sure I wasn’t making poor decisions on placement, well educated on care. I mean… This wasn’t my first time but the experience was amazing and just… I’m floored with everything! She allowed me to take a few breaks as it took almost 4 hours and the price was absolutely worth every dollar! Whether your skins virgin or you’re seasoned and probably cost more than your car… Go to Lucky Drvil and def ask for Lorin! I provided the picture of her sketch and the final product. You tell me by going to her how amazing it is!

Fantastic experience: Annie was a gem through this whole process and the shop’s policy on help and aftercare and putting in new jewelry at no cost was awesome. Got my ears done with Annie, went back a few weeks later for a check in and she replaced with new studs to deal with my skin not healing. Got my nose pierced with the other piercer but followed up twice with Annie for aftercare and again no additional cost and super accommodating. Really a gem to work with.

Negative experience: They pierced my bellybutton so wrong, no where near where it was supposed to be, they also used eyebrow jewelry for it. My bellybutton ring is hanging on by a thread. I’ve just now been told I don’t have the anatomy for it by a different piercer, workers were nice tho.

Negative experience: Don’t normally complain was looking for a local vendor in Barrie Ontario called his company was directed to gentleman name Brandon he took a deposit from me mentioned I can change dates in case I need more time. I tried to contact him days before the appointment to see if he had some design in mind mind you it’s my first tattoo he mentioned he doesn’t show designs that I have to come in person and in case I don’t like to design, I will need to rebook to a different window time, I missed my appointment window. I was told I lost my deposit and I need to give another deposit to book another date. He was so excited to take my deposit or have fun with your free $50 Thanks for your customer service.

Fantastic experience: My daughter went to get her nose pierced and she was freaking out as this is her first big piercing. I just want to say piercer Bryan Lake had such patience and calmed her down and got her through it and she is beyond happy she did it. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Came here for a tattoo, had spoken to the artist on Instagram and they quoted me 150, then after the tattoo dropped it too 100. Took only an hour and it was probably the most enjoyable hour of my life. The artist was super chill and everything and everybody had a lot of personality. Piercer was amazing, not only are they super cute, but he did an amazing job with being super sanitary, the placement of my piercings and making sure I was comfortable during the process. Fantastic experience: Go see the piercer Annie!! She was so awesome and patient with me and my bestie. We were nervous as we hadn’t been pierced in over a decade. We came for a faux rook and left with a conch because Annie took the time to educate us and we went in a direction that worked much better. I so appreciate that Annie! Positive experience: I have come to this shop for almost all my tattoos and have had a great experience almost every time. Jeff is fantastic and I will be sticking to him from now on. My last visit however was with loorin and didnt go so great for me. She didnt fully follow my design and it came out very wonky. She didnt shave the area beforehand either which in my experience isnt good. I have never been one to bleed from tattoos and i b l e d when she was done. It was in an area i had done before as well with no reactions like that. The line work was shotty and some lines were missing all together i noticed after taking off the bandage. All of my other tattoos have healed quite nicely but this one is still very thick and lumpy on the surface of my skin, not typical for a smaller tattoo on my skin. I had to get it touched up by another artist elsewhere because i would rather pay the money than return to her. The whole experience felt very rushed and she seemed annoyed when i would try and have her be as close to my design as possible in the stencils but in the end she made the design way thicker than i wanted it to be. It was a very simple design that i thought anyone with experience could easily do. From what ive seen of her work maybe she should stick to larger pieces.

Fantastic experience: this is by far my favourite place to get piercings! i live in the penetang area and always go specifically with lucky devil for all my piercings needs! bryan and annie are fantastic! they’ve both done a fair share of my piercings. they always take the time to measure the placements of the jewelry to make sure everything is 100%! they’re both so sweet and kind and i always feel so comfortable with them. they take the time to calm down my nerves and make sure i am relaxed and always congratulate me afterwards. highly recommend going to lucky devil for piercings and tattoos!!

Fantastic experience: Got snakebites done by Bryan and it was great! He’s very friendly, funny and knows what he’s doing (he even used a measuring tool to get the symmetry of the piercings as close to 100% accurate as possible). I’m not good with hyping myself up for needles but he made the piercing process super easy and comfortable. High recommended!

Negative experience: went in to the shop tonight for a tattoo for my son and touch ups from tattoos done this past August which were supposdd to be free. The artist quoted us 120.00 an hour for my son's new tatto, it took less than an hour for the tattoo and they charged me 270.00. I asked why when she quoted me 120.00. The lady at the desk said taxes. I asked $150 in taxes? I was planning on returning for my other sons tattoo and myself but not after this evening. Really disappointing. In the past year my family has been here for 3 piercings 5 tattoos and additional piercing rings. They just lost a good customer. If you are quoting people per hour stick to your quote other wise quote by the piece and you would probably not lose customers.

Negative experience: Do not come here for piercings. I came in April to get 2 nose piercings I came back a week later as the one side started to look infected I told the guy who did the piercing that my first 2 nose piercings did not heal this way I wanted to know what can be done to prevent it from continuing to get infected. He told me it was nothing and to keep cleaning it like I was. It’s now September and I’ve yet to get rid of the infection on the piecing no matter what I do to get it to go away. I already had 2 nose piercings prior to coming to get these 2 done and never had any issues with the healing process.

Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday to see Bryan. He didn't do my nose piercing, however helped me troubleshoot after it has been done at a different location. I felt like although it was a busy location he gave me the time to explain what I would like without making me feel rushed. He also gave good tips on how to change the piercing if I were to do so myself. Where I went before the aftercare instructions seemed short and not descriptive but I was able to over hear him somewhat provide after care instructions to someone else and it seemed thorough and more descriptive on what to expect. If I were to get another piercing or jewellery change, I would feel comfortable going back there to get it done by him.

Fantastic experience: I went in one day spontaneously for a couple piercings and met Brian! He was so great. He has such a relaxing calming personality and he breaths with you when getting your piercing and overall was such a nice experience. He took the the time to explain how to keep my new conch and Tragis clean and absolutely I will be returning for him!

Fantastic experience: My navel piercing rejected when I got it here the first time. They took it out, and gave me a card. Told me to come back when it's healed to get it re-done. Negative experience: Today my daughter and her friend went to the Barrie location for 3 simple words written on their ankles. UNBELIEVABLE price. Initially they were told $40.00 deposit and $80.00 for BOTH tattoos!!!! Well this is the farthest from the truth ..... they were charged $120.00 each plus deposit totalling an astonomical $140.00 per person. Steer clear of this place people take your money to another tattoo parlor. The BBB will be made aware of this establishment come monday morning.

Negative experience: Not only did they say over the phone they would tattoo my friends face. We drive down here from an hour away. And the artist refused because my friend didn't have a full sleeve even though she has a face tattoo. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Utterly disgusting.

Fantastic experience: I've been to both newmarket and Barrie location and hands down lucky devil Barrie is by far the best! I won't ever go anywhere else but here!  Customer service is amazing, . Thanks Bryan and and Annie for all your help.

Fantastic experience: PIERCING ONLY: I've gotten 2 piercings -- second lobes and conch (orbital) -- at Lucky Devil within this past year and have been very impressed with everything. Before I went to Lucky Devil, I got my cartilage pierced at Steele and Ink. It was much more expensive. I probably paid the same amount for both lobes and orbital than I did for that one cartilage piercing. On top of that, when the piercing got ripped out by my mask and I lost the backing, Steele and Ink charged me an extra $20 for a backing and said they weren't charging me for the 'jewelry change'. (I'm assuming they normally do). Lucky Devil offers free jewelry changes and will let you bring in your own jewelry to change. as well. They even recommended it especially for the conch (orbital) piercing I just got because the ring is difficult to maneuver. They were very helpful in answering any and all questions I had. Overall, Lucky Devil provides more information which I find much more professional. On top of that, when the appointment ahead of me cancelled, they called me to inform me that I could potentially come in 30 minutes ahead of my appointment time which I used to my advantage. After the piercing, the staff goes over proper cleaning procedures with their clients and answers any and all questions. Friendly staff, clean facility, and definitely worth it. Finally, just a huge shout out to Annie who was absolutely fantastic during my recent visit. I absolutely hate needles (ironic huh) but she was great at letting me ramble on about how nervous I was, and enduring my sarcastic comments.

Positive experience: I cant talk for the whole place though I was there recently for a tattoo. Placed the deposit. Got there for consult and tattoo. Artist seemed like a make less work project and charged over 200 for half hrs work. And now work(script) was not perfect but well done few sketchy lines but tolerable. I was booked in for up to 4 hrs and artist was not entertaining any ideas so I settled with simple script she banged off imperfectly in half hr for $200+ not impressed.

Fantastic experience: I went to Lucky Devil for a few piercings. I called and they fit me in for a same day appt. Brian was kind, patient and easy going. Coached me through the whole process, explained instructions simply and easily. Made himself available for any questions I have/had.

Negative experience: Everyone who works here is ignorant. No welcoming vibes. The lady who did my lip piercing was extremely ignorant as well and did not pierce my lip right. It got really badly infected right away. I would not recommend if your looking for a comfortable place to get a tattoo or piercing done. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.
