Fantastic experience: This is THE shop to go to for both piercings and tattoos. Never once have I had a bad experience. It's clean, they make the experience easy and fun, and everyone is super great. I bring my friends here whenever I can and it's always my first recommendation. I just got my angel fangs done today, and Mike is phenomenal! Everyone is friendly, and they make you feel at home. Fantastic experience: Yesterday me and my kids went into Canadian Ink studios for their BOGO piercing event. Originally it was only me and my son getting piercings but turned out the my son got 2 and me and my daughter got 1 each. Mariah was the person in charge of our piercings and she was absolutely incredible and helped with every question snd explained everything in detail. Highly recommend not only for piercing but tattoos as me and my husband have also gotten several tattoos from this location as well which was beyond amazing in itself

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this location, specifically to Rod, for Pico laser brow removal. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I even ended up getting two piercings during my initial visit ( by Mike, also great) I came in to have old eyebrow microblading removed, and Rod was extremely professional and thorough in explaining the entire process. He did a great job with my brows and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment. He uses high-quality equipment and is very knowledgeable in what he does. The confidence I’ve gained back was absolutely worth the visit. I highly recommend Rod to anyone looking for laser tattoo removal. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I'm only in town for a week. Why not get some ink? I walked in Monday with a rough idea.I did a consult, booked with Shayla with a VERY reasonable deposit. Got my piece done today (Wednesday). This is tattoo #15 for me over the last 30 years. First time in this shop. Things I noticed - super clean; excellent hygiene practices; professional attitude from everyone; great rates; very cool vibe - these folks love what they do and it shows. Will absolutely book another session if I come back to Edmonton. Shayla, you are wonderful, and I can't wait for another appointment!

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this place? Besides, it's absolutely phenomenal. Every single person that works there is nothing but friendly and a master of their crafts. Today was the second time going to the studio and I got an amazing plinko tattoo of an astronaut from Shay a couple months ago I had an incredible tattoo from cinnamon. These tattoo artists are very attentive. They give you exactly what you want and they work with you personally. To give you the best tattoo you could ask for. I have 35 tattoos from a bunch of different artists and I will say it by far. They have the best artist in Alberta. I will continue to rave about this establishment and bring more people to them. If you're looking at getting a tattoo and you're nervous come here, they will put your mind at ease if you're looking for A+++ work come here. You won't be disappointed. It's also very fun and welcoming. They have gumball tattoos. They have plinko tattoos. They have claw machine tattoos. They have mystery tattoos. Why wouldn't you want to come back?

Fantastic experience: Dj'd here with a close friend who set up the gig I guess she's been going here for many years , the staff was great I had a lot of fun my rather niche music was really well recieved and the spooky treats were so great , I'm hoping to get some piercing and tattoo work here soon when I can afford it for sure the staff seemed like they knew how to tattoo exceptionally and same with piercing I highly recommend them there were a large volume of customers who were taken care of in a relatively short amount of time and not a single person had anything bad to say so there's that which is great I recommend their services

Fantastic experience: I saw Mariah to get my Medusa pierced. She was so great, super friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She made me feel very welcomed there which i really appreciated. The piercing was quick and easy and there was a lot of jewelry to choose from. I definitely will be going back for my piercings and probably tattoos!

I was offered breaks if I needed, there was a huge selection of jewelery, and my peircer was awesome. Mariah was patient and experienced and made the entire appointment feel like a breeze. Fantastic experience: I was there this past Friday, and got the start of my memorial piece for my mom, by Michelle. She was absolutely amazing! She drew up exactly what I wanted, and made sure I was comfortable and ready before starting. I will be booking with her again in the very near future! The shop was clean, and beyond welcoming. Everyone says hi, and the receptionist is feel bad I cant remember her name, is so funny, and also made sure I was good during my tattoo and even asked if I needed anything during. Tara was able fit me in with Mariah. At the studio Tara and Mariah were amazing- so welcoming and supported picking out new jewelry and getting my old jewelery back in. Fantastic experience: I went in for the mystery gumball tattoo. I won the open pokeball with a chrysanthemum within in it. My artist was Hannah and I cannot boast about her enough! Hannah applied her own flare to the stencil and without a word between us she magically changed the flower to a variety of flowers that fit me on a personal level. She added a touch of color but still keep the gritty realism that I was hoping for; going above and beyond my expectations. 1000/10 highly recommend I could NOT be happier with Hannah and all the amazing kind staff at Canadian Ink Studio!! Fantastic experience: I forgot to leave a review, but I got a tattoo done by Shayla, I got one of her flash tattoos! She’s the only one allowed to tattoo me, she always makes sure I’m happy, and comfortable. Her line work has only gotten better over the years! I’m so glad she’s at Canadian Ink now! I also ended up getting some new jewellery for my belly piercing and nose piercings! I think Michelle was the woman who helped me, she was amazing and patient with me! ( I’m very indecisive lol ) she made sure I was happy and was very nice to be helped by! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: We met mat at the flea market and he told us about the gum ball machine tattoos and other things about the shop, we decided to go give it a try and it was amazing. From. Fantastic experience: I have so many amazing things to say about all the artists I’ve seen at Canadian ink which includes Inna, Hannah, Lily, Sergey and apprentice Mel! This is the piece Sergey just did for my most recent mystery gumball with the theme ‘glam goth’ Will definitely be returning to the shop! Their piercer Rae is super friendly and kind and walked me through the ENTIRE process of changing my jewelry. Fantastic experience: I got my nose pierced at Canadian Ink Studios on Sunday, and it was an amazing experience. Rae, the piercer, was very straightforward and nice. She explained everything I needed to know about aftercare, including blowing my nose, what to do and not to do, etc. She also told me when to come back so she could check on my piercing and make sure it was healing properly. This shows that she really cares about her customers. The studio itself is amazing, and if I ever want to get a tattoo or piercing in the future, I will definitely come back to this place. It's only a 10-minute drive from my house, so it's very convenient.

Fantastic experience: Canadian Ink Studios always exceeds expectations when it comes to customer service. From the front desk, to the artists, they always manage to make you feel welcome. I have been going to artist Lily since she was an apprentice and have multiple tattoos from her now. She is one of the sweetest people I’ve met, and I have enjoyed watching her grow her skills. Yesterday, I brought my grandmother in for her first ever tattoo. Everyone at Canadian Ink helped make her first tattoo experience a wonderful time. Definitely can’t recommend this place enough. Great customer service. Great tattoo artists. I always look forward to coming.

Fantastic experience: Had my nose piercing redone by Rae and I can't say enough good things about the experience. She was super knowledgeable, very professional in her interactions and great to chat with. The studio as a whole is an experience in itself, especially if you've only ever been to smaller parlours. Highly recommend Rae regardless if you're getting your first piercing or your 100th.

From the first time I called to get more info about getting an old tattoo covered up, to going in to get my touch ups done, I was impressed by how nice the staff was. Didn't matter who I was dealing with, they were all great. I chose Alex as my artist and I cannot recommend him enough! Power outage stopped me from getting my piece done on the day, but it turned into a great experience as a feature piece at K-days. Hannah my artist is TOP notch, I still cannot stop looking at her work on my arm. Definitely will be going back to see her again. Fantastic experience: I came in for help removing piercings that were done incorrectly, and Rae was absolutely fantastic. She took her time, explained why I was experiencing the discomfort, what to look out for, and what to ask for to get them done right next time. It cost me 5$ for all of her expertise and assistance, even knowing I may not return to her. She was patient, validating, clean, organized, and comforting, I trust her with my life!

Fantastic experience: I called in an 1 1/2 hrs before close ane was greeted wonderfully over the phone and was squeezed in on a walk in for a tattoo I had been waiting to get for a while. Lily did a fantastic job with the tattoo. I had script done in my brothers handwriting annd she replicated it perfectly with no mistakes! lily was kind and awesome with making sure I was comfortable and understood everything she was doing. Her work is amazing a speaks for itself!!

I have had work done by several artists in the shop including Inna, Sergey, Shay, Alex and other artist that have moved on, my most recent piece was from AJ and he did not disappoint! He did a cover up for me and I absolutely love it, he got rid of something from my past that I needed to bury. Thank you so much for helping me put this behind me and get an amazing new piece! Negative experience: Had a bad experience here years ago. Brought it up and it was brushed off. Was pushed into a tattoo I did not want or loose my 250$ I had already put down after the artist made it clear they couldn’t do what I asked the day before. More detail, I did a consult, discussed what I wanted with said artist agreed on half day rate (500 required 50% down) Continued to send inspo pics to them after to make sure my point was made but wanted it in their style. Come the day before (after the 48hr cancellation policy) that they would need a full day for it now. Well I went in with the want of covering up self harm scaring and left with scattered foot prints as it was essentially a loose your deposit or come in and I still wanted to do something to honour my animal. No I never left a review as even when I brought my concerns to the shop owner they were extremely combative. Still had funds on file as they wouldn’t refund me the rest back and went in for a gumball a bit later.

Fantastic experience: I went and got my nose, and lip pierced. Rae is amazing!! So friendly, and she did an amazing job! I’ll definitely be going back for any more piercings I want.

I have been personally tattooed by Sergi and he was hilarious and so amazing! I highly recommend this shop! I can't wait to continue my tattoo journey with this studio!

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing tattoo studio. I've gone many many places and this is one of the friendliest most welcoming places I've been. I've been following this studio since it's been Aces and Spades and love to see it rebranded to Canadian Ink Studios. It's so clean and spacious. Everyone is so so friendly. Not to mention Shay (@shaybeez.ink) is such a talented artist. I also got to chat with some of the other artists who were fantastic (ie. gave me advice on a tattoo I had been nervous about healing). I cannot recommend this place enough. Whether it's a first tattoo or 30th.

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible experience at Canadian Ink Studios! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My daughter got a piercing with Rae, Head Piercer, who took the time to really listen to what she wanted and was so compassionate and gentle. My son got a tattoo with Serge, who was extremely effective and calming for his first tattoo. We’ve never felt so pampered and confident leaving a Tattoo/Piercing studio before! I’ll definitely be recommending Rae, Serge and Canadian Ink Studios to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Jamie is hands down the best artist I’ve ever worked with. She is so incredibly talented! I’ve always felt super comfortable and well taken care of. I’ve never left the shop without a smile on my face. She goes out of her way to make sure you are feeling comfortable and safe. Will always be my go to artist and shop. Not to mention how friendly the staff are too!

Fantastic experience: Jamie is creative, curious, and compassionate. Her artistry is unmatched. She listens to understand, which means your piece is what you want it to be. Her curiosity and creativity means that your piece is elevated beyond what you may have originally envisioned. Jamie’s craft is an experience. Her vibe as a person makes the time under the needle pass quickly and enjoyably. She clearly cares about her work as well as the people who will carry her work on their skin. Whether it’s your first time getting ink, or your tenth tattoo, having Jamie as your artist is a worthwhile adventure.

Fantastic experience: This will be my third tattoo in this shop but my last two were with Jamie. She is a freehand artist and her work is amazing! But besides the work she's just a stellar human. ❤️ I'll be having more work done by her in the new year and can't wait!

Fantastic experience: I got recommended to Jamie from a friend of mine and after meeting her I knew it was the right choice. She did an absolutely phenomenal job on me and my boyfriends couple tattoos. After such a great experience I definitely look forward to working with her on more. If your looking for an artist that is super knowledgeable and an incredible person Jamie is your girl.

Fantastic experience: I love this place, most of all my fave artist there is definitely Jamie. I'll be getting another tattoo from her shortly & she is definitely worth the wait. She's an experience and a half, and the best artist there. When she tattoos, she is a freehand artist, I'll post the pics of her work after my next appointment. So far she has done a love potion on my shoulder & soon to be doing another design for me on my thigh. She is a 5⭐️ artist, and a full experience (in the most fun way). Her work is just incredible. If anyone is looking for a great artist, call for Jamie, you'll definitely get a great piece of art from her.

Fantastic experience: BOO it’s a ghost ! I got a amazing tattoo from the apprentice Lilly She blew me away of how amazing she did ! Super sweet , caring , very clean , easy to talk to , light handed , and pretty quick ! I see myself going back What I see now she going to grow into a AMAZING tattoo artist ! Fantastic experience: This is my go to shop! The cleanliness, the space, the artists…everything about it! They helped me with a piece that hadn’t been finished for a while. Next, the mystery gum ball tattoos are a must! The artists are amazing! They listen to you, they get to know you, they work with you and make you feel at home. Fantastic experience: Inna did my tattoo today and she did a phenomenal job. She was kind. Her communication throughout the tattoo was wonderful. She took this tattoo seriously. It was a memorial piece for my dad. When I say it is perfect it's because I am out of words for how perfect it is. Thank you so much Inna. I am speechless.
