Negative experience: I found this shop through Instagram. Their artists are incredibly talented and the work is quite well executed. However, some of the recent art posted by the artist Inkcredible Nerd has me deeply offput. I ran 2 of their most recent designs through multiple versions of AI detecting software and both came back as having been generated via AI. I know I would be furious if I discovered I had paid money for someone to put AI generated slop on my body. I feel other people should be made aware of this so they can make an informed decision about permanent modifications. Generative AI has no place in creative spaces, tattooing especially. If an artist cannot draw their own designs, how can one trust them to replicate it on skin?

Fantastic experience: This is the ONLY place we come for our piercings. We drive in from Leduc! My daughter and I go every year on her birthday for a new one and 10/10 every time. Very clean, beautiful and welcoming. The front staff are so sweet! Today KC did our piercings and she was phenomenal (and her room is A DREAM).

Fantastic experience: Amazing job! Went to get our nine year old’s ears pierced and KC was lovely. Spoke directly to my daughter to make sure she understood what was happening and what was expected of her during the appointment and for aftercare. Made sure she was okay between piercing each ear. Could not recommend enough for parents whose kids want their ears pierced, will absolutely be back when our oldest wants a second hole.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING experience as always. I came running in 6min late and Scott was ready and waiting with his flash and supplies! The kindness and organization of this shop is absolutely one of my favorite features (other than the staff ofc)! Walked in undecided between the flash picks, then walked out with 2 new pieces of art and a grin. Also immediately after I left to go get a meal at moxies and the server was saying how most of the staff have come in to see the shop and received pieces. So many praises! Fantastic experience: I came in to get my first ever piercings, three in my right ear, with my wife. KC was fantastic, explained everything and double checked to make sure I fully knew what was going on, warned me about changing my placements, and when the second piercing failed she was super professional and quick to fix it. On top of that the artists here seem really talanted so I'll probably return for more piercings and tattoos.

The glitter connecting the two together was such a good idea executed beautifuly. You'll absolutely be seeing us again! Fantastic experience: this was my first visit, I went for an eyebrow piercing. the piercer (KC) was awesome. very straightforward and was honest with me about the risks of this specific piercing and made sure to answer all my questions. takes sterilization seriously during prep and gave me extremely easy after-care instructions. also told me I could call with any questions during the healing process which is great because i’m not local. 100% would recommend and I will be visiting for my next one!

Fantastic experience: My nose piercing came out in the middle of the night. I couldn't reinsert the piercing so I put the back piece into the front hole and taped it. I went to Bad Habits with no appointment and purchased a new piercing. KC was quick and efficient and changed out my piercing. Definitely will return!

She spoke directly to my daughter, obtained her direct consent, and explained the procedure very clearly! Fantastic experience: Scott did tattoos for my sister and I. She gave him an idea and he added little mickeys in the tattoo which I love. He was very informative about the positioning of the tattoo. We had a great time with him because he was super friendly and chatted with us the whole time. Definitely recommend going to this tattoo shop. The Entrance had drinks and places to sit and wait. Fantastic experience: Love this place, staff are friendly, considerate and honest. There are free snacks and drinks while waiting for the proper sterilization of jewelry and instruments. Staff encourage call backs or visits for questions and concerns and provide business cards with contact information. Clear and proper aftercare are given after and before each piercing. The staff use their professional experience to give a honest opinion on which piercing placement will heal best. Piercing placement is first marked with a marker and customers are always given an opportunity to approve after checking in the mirror. I have never had a negative experience here after 9 piercings over the last 2 and a half years.

Fantastic experience: Brought my daughter in today to get her ears pierced. She was very nervous and anxious as this was her first piercing experience. We had KC as her piercer and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. KC was incredibly warm and patient. Made my daughter feel immediately at ease and safe! Front staff were both welcoming and polite. What a wonderful experience overall. I would absolutely recommend KC and Bad Habit!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a belly button peircing, kind of unsure about what I wanted to have done with the concern of swelling, Kacey was who I was introduced to, her charismatic personality helped me choose a peircing that would be less problematic for swelling (half floating naval type of thing) She was unbelievably supportive and made me giggle throughout the process making it a million times better. Negative experience: *** UPDATE *** This review was never addressed by the shop and rather than treating me with respect or trying to find a solution they said I'm not welcome to be there, extremely unprofessional and toxic business ethics fuled by pride. From bigotry to bullying and harassment, and treating their best employees who are kind and respectful like trash, it feels like gang mentality rather than culture and community. Communicating to the staff, owner, online support or any representative is often met with ignoring the issue, dismissing the problem, and blocking you if they so feel. I will never be supporting this shop in any capacity and Ill be looking else where for true professionalism and kindness. (original review) I've been a frequent visitor here for tattoos and Ive always had a great experience with the artists, but the piercers are another story. I excitingly talked to a piercer (KC slaytor) about some difficult piercings I wanted to get and they reciprocated that energy assuring me they wanted to be engaged with the entire process, downsizing and healing. Not long after the initial piercing during my future vists to the shop her attitude felt increasingly abrasive, rude, insentivie, and condescending. During one appointment I was waiting on the table to have my bars downsized and they were getting "flirty" with their mentor which wasn't a particularly comfortable experience. Her attitude ultimately made it feel like she no longer had any interest in my experience or the healing of my piercings, when she would ask about my piercings it felt empty like it was a chore they didn't want to do, or as if I was so tedious. It really felt like she was being intentionally rude at this point. Someone I know had a bad experience with getting a piercing from her too and you'll find in the reviews that a lot of people have had negative experiences with KC, the most recent review involving her being the reason I'm writing this one now. Don't get a piercing here from either of the piercers, they both put out rude, inconsistent, and disingenuous energy.

Fantastic experience: Awesome clean shop with super nice humans ! KC was amazing and did an amazing job for my kiddo. Explained everything to a T, was quick swift and great price. So appreciative of the kindness and honesty. Eye brow piercings look perfect.

Negative experience: Kacie did a piercing for me and was not honest about the fact she did a poor job of placing/angling the peircing. Things felt rushed, and I'm certain she knew it wasn't quite right but wasn't up front about it. I'm pretty easy going and understanding about mistakes, but don't charge me after knowing one was made. I took it out after a few days to get repiereced by someone else after healing. The shop looks nice, but the vibe with the staff is off.

Fantastic experience: Got a helix piercing and JOSH did an AMAZING JOB! I love how he was very chatty as it made me feel less nervous. Very clean environment and friendly staff. Definitely would go back again!

Negative experience: Only went back because of Josh. KC Slaytor needs to fix her attitude and condescending tone. Made my teenage sister’s experience super uncomfortable and just terrible. When we entered the store, she already acted bothered that we were there, as if we aren’t the ones giving you business? If I was there with her in the room I wonder if things would be different or if she would just speak to us like we’re some monkeys that don’t understand english. I wonder if talking to little girls condescendingly as a grown woman makes her feel better about herself? Anyway, super bummed out and disheartened after the interaction, don’t recommend her business at all, gave my sister a big nose ring that she ended up not liking, Slaytor claimed a smaller one would ‘tear her nose.’ Went to a different piercer later and they changed it to a different ring that was smaller. Was quick and easy, and was actually nice to us. EDIT: there are multiple reviews about how uncomfortable customers have felt and how coldly KC treats them. I think that’s the main point of this post as well. The jewelry change wasn’t an issue. The interaction and service was ✌️also she NEVER said it was final sale to her until AFTER we called back and she WAS put under pressure because of KC’s ATTITUDE AND IMPATIENT APPROACH. I honestly don’t know how you can believe one voice over the voice of many others who are expressing the same problems.

She really appreciated that he talked directly to her and not just to me. Josh was very professional and spoke honestly about the fact that her anatomy might not be ideal for the piercing, explaining the potential risks to her. I appreciated the fact that he cared more about the outcome than the potential sale. She did end up getting it done and is ecstatic about it - it looks beautiful!! Josh was thorough in explaining the aftercare to her too. 10/10 would recommend!! We are from BC, but we’ll be back for sure

The environment of the shop was super cool, but what really stood out to me was the personalized individual workspaces of each artist. My piercer had a super cute room with a pink theme. She also made me feel very safe and comfortable during my piercing process. Prices were very reasonable and overall a solid place to go for piercings!! My piercing was also pierced well and quickly!!

Fantastic experience: Josh was incredible. I was a last-minute walk in as I was pierced previously at a different shop and my jewellery had fallen out while I was shopping. He squeezed me in between appointments and gave me the most incredible experience calming me down while fixing my jewellery sizing! He gave me advice about how to treat the piercing to avoid any more accidents. Would 100% see him again 5/5
