Fantastic experience: Got my eyebrow pierced here a few days ago and I love it so much! I can't remember the name of the piercer, but she was so wonderful, really informative and professional. So far, my eyebrow is healing amazingly, and the placement is absolutely perfect! I also got my septum pierced here a few years ago and it healed amazing and has had no problems with it. The shop is bright and not too loud, which is nice to just relax. I will definitely come here again for my piercings in the future!!

Negative experience: Marina is unprofessional. Claims can do any work. I had a consult and she barely listened to me and judged the concept. Wanting to make it into something I completely did not want. Claimed it was masculine. And I dont care about that kind of label. It is my body, my money, my choice. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Anyways, she quoted me at 1k. And I booked off work. Last minute she canceled claiming she cant execute what I want the day before. I did not like her mock up and I don't have to. She was salty about that. So I lost wages and a deposit because of her absolute unprofessionalism. Look for a different place. There are better places all over without someone in their 60s set in their own view point.

Fantastic experience: I had a leg piece that was half done. Wasn’t happy with the artist that started it. Said she was confident in doing what I wanted. And then did a sub-par job and blamed it on my skin. Fast forward to finding Max Color Ink. Explained the situation. Asked if they could help fix what was done and add more. And I couldn’t be happier with what they’ve done to it. My artist was Marina. And that woman has skills. Incredibly creative and talented. I’ve been through many artists in the Edmonton area. But I finally found my forever artist. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I would not recommend this business. Once the 2nd skin came of my tattoo it already looked just as faded as a tattoo I got 10 years ago. Now they want to charge to correct their work. So the artist just has to do a crappy job and it guarantees a little more money to fix it. Just makes you go hmmm

Negative experience: So !! I was thinking about getting a tattoo, looks like a great place with many artists waiting to ink. So unfortunately with some people that work there do not back up their work. 30 days and faded. Want a touch up it cost extra so no warranties or guarantees Humm! So I pull off the strip of 2nd skin and it pulls off the ink so it looks old. There's a charge here be cautious and expect to pay again for a simple black outline. So that's now a loss of future business for many please back up your work or is this the scheme to double dip well good luck to all whatever you decide but as far as I know there's a satisfaction statement to be made.

Fantastic experience: My mom found this shop because she wanted to get something covered up and we’ve been coming here since! Super clean, super professional and welcoming environment. Our artist is Jiva, always makes sure we’re happy with our designs and will go above and beyond for us. Her work is amazing and she’s the perfect tattoo artist. The owner, Marina, welcomes you in and makes a point to get to know you. All the other artists are super friendly asking if you want tea, coffee, water, etc. The receptionist is super friendly and welcoming. They are the best here! Definitely will be returning, as well as my mom! We absolutely love this place!

Fantastic experience: Nick is amazing! I had the honor of meeting him a year ago for his largest piece at the time when he first started his journey of becoming a tottoo arrist. I'm completely in love with my owl. The owl is a custom design of his and his art work is stunning. I recently stopped by for a touch-up and got to see how his skills have really progressed so much in the last year. He's a fantastic artists with an amazing personality I would recommend him to everyone! I hope to one day get back to Alberta to get some more art from him.

Fantastic experience: I got a forward helix piercing almost two weeks ago, and it was very swollen, and irritated. Sheri was on vacation and came back to help me and change out my jewelry. She text me and checked on me, and I truly felt like she cared. Amazing service, I am so happy with how she treated me and helped me out. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: Do not get pierced here! I went in for a naval and was told id need a floating naval then they gave me regular naval jewelry so naturally, its starting to reject and got infected. Also, the cleaning process if completey outdated and i never received the email with the directions. I had to go to a different studio where the piercer let me know theyve had to correct multiple piercings and tattoos from this shop. My coworker also go piercings and the piercer switched it for hoops which can lead to crazy infections too. Once his piercings got irritated and red he went to a different shop who waive the price of their services because they also hear the horror stories of this shop. Do not go here!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been to Maximum Colour Ink for both piercings and tattoos. The team there is fantastic and knowledgeable. Jiva has given me some beautiful colour tattoos that look amazing and healed really well. Sheri recently provided piercings and was very thorough in her explanation of the process and aftercare. Fantastic experience: The entire team at Maximum Colour Ink go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. This was especially appreciated as this was a first tattoo and was already apprehensive going into appointment. We had chosen to entrust Marina to do two realism tattoos for myself and my husband, given her expertise in realism. From her artistic vision to her technical abilities every step was taken to ensure the quality of the tattoo would exceed expectation. Fantastic experience: I am happy to share my 5-start experience with Max Colour Ink.-Jiva. My first tattoo is teeny tiny but holds a huge significance in my life. In memory of my mom asked Jiva to duplicate my mom's aging spot that was in the shape of heart. Wanted it placed on the top of my hand between my thumb and index finger so every time I looked at my hand I would be reminded of her. Fantastic experience: 100% would recommend Sheri Wilton for piercings! I have been pierced by her and she is excellent! She has 30+ years of experience. She is informative, she marks the piercing to perfection and is fast when the time comes for the piercing. If I get another piercing I will go back to her. she has even messaged me back when I couldnt get her over the phone.

Negative experience: Over priced and under skilled. Artist hired to do simple lettering. Lettering was not uniform in size,and thickness, tattoo not centered on both sides of the body. Artist took 4 hours for a simple trace and fill piece. Artist did not adhere to lettering size instruction. This work could have been done in maximum 2.5 hours. I have been tattooed by artists all over the world, this work is the poorest and most expensive work I’ve had done. I would not recommend this shop to my mother in law.

Fantastic experience: I ended up at Maxium Colour while in Edmonton on vacation. My forward helix jewelry fell out and I was looking to have it replaced along with a new ring for my nostril. I googled piercer and ended up here. I didn’t have an appointment but Sheri was able to help me out. I was greeted right away when I went in, it was a very nice and friendly shop. Super clean and professional too! Sheri was great, had a nice selection of jewelry. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Yep…I got my first tattoo last week . I wanted a good place and a customer of mine referred me to this place . I had a consultation with Alex and a week a later he did my tattoo. I plan to do another one in the future. Alex is a good artist and has good customer service . Fantastic experience: I got my nose pierced before maybe 5 times at different places and used gun to do it.All the it got infected and I had to remove the jewelry.Than I went to max color and they use needle to do all piercings.Its been 4 months and my nose piercing is healed properly with no issue at all.I even changed the jewelry 2 weeks ago and all is good.Thank you so much.

When I first went in for a consultation, the other artist was incredibly honest about the style I was looking for not being her specialty. She kindly directed me to Alex, and I couldn't be happier with that recommendation. I'm currently three sessions into getting a sleeve, and each time I leave the studio, my excitement for the final result grows even more. Alex's skill and attention to detail are truly impressive. Plus, the studio is super accommodating when it comes to scheduling. They even opened up early for me once so I could make it to work on time, which I really appreciated. One thing I love is how Alex uses a timer and only charges for the actual time spent tattooing. It feels fair and transparent. Fantastic experience: It has been an amazing journey since I decided to do my life story on a right sleeve and to express a darker side of things people fear on my left sleeve. All tattoo artists are extremely talented and they all would have done an amazing job, but it was Jiva who was best chosen for me. 18 sessions and well over 100 hours in the tattoo chair, I have almost completed my vision, thanks to her talent, patience and experience of what would be best for size, position and colour of these intricate tattoos. They are all so meaningful and turned out perfect everytime, better than I had invisioned. I Moved back East, but every time I visit, I schedule appointments with Jiva until the second sleeve is complete. It has meant more than just tattoos for me with some lifechanges I have gone through. I feel the goodness of being among great, kind, talented artists. This will be the only tattoo studio that I will ever have tattoos done and recommend. They were very accommodating and found a way to make the timing work for that same day. Alex volunteered to take on the project and did an AMAZING job. Everyone we met from the front desk to the other artists were great and mixing some fun with their work. Would definitely come again for my next tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Yura has been fantastic. He designed and tattooed my first tattoo last year, and has been working with me on a much larger piece this year. All of our interactions have been fantastic, and the quality of the work is amazing. The whole staff has been nothing but kind and helpful, and my experience with this studio has never been anything but fantastic. Looking forward to future visits!

Fantastic experience: Sheri was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable! She was very chill walked you through the piercing process… no bs straight to it❤️ definitely recommend her and the others in the shop were just as awesome and inquisitive with me made the process so entertaining and made me even more excited for it!!!! Can’t wait for the next round…. Was only up visiting, but definitely a go to in my books whenever I plan on doing another round or piercings or getting tatted!!!

Fantastic experience: This is my second tattoo here and both are fabulous. Jiva is a very talented artist who has made great suggestions on how to enhance my tattoo’s. Sheri has also pierced my teens ears, which was a very efficient appointment. The studio is very relaxed and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I got a piercing done here. The studio was very clean, and the staff was accommodating. The piercer was very good at explaining and walking through the process. The piercing itself was very quick and near painless. I would definitely go back!

Fantastic experience: I had my nose, nostril, pierced yesterday. I have had issues with irritation, scar tissue build up, oozy lack of healing the last 2 attempts and had to let the piercings close. Yesterday Sheri pierced my nostril and I can barely feel it. I have no irritation, no pain, no discharge- nothing. The placement is perfect. The piercing looks and feels great! Sheri explained the step by step procedure, whys and wherefores as well as reviewing after care with me. Sheri is a true Pro and I highly recommend her. Thank you Sheri. ☀️

Fantastic experience: Coming to Maximum Color Ink was the best decision I made. The staff were extremely supportive and easy going to speak with. My artist was very thorough with me and telling me the risks of how colors dilute with specific skin tones. Which was a great thing to know! If anything I had an educational experience with getting my tattoo done. I’m definitely coming back for future tattoos here.

Fantastic experience: Sweetest people ever. Natasha was wonderful at both the tattoo appointment and my consultation. At my consultation she made sure this tattoo was something I wanted. Not something I just came up with one night. At the appointment she offered coffee and water. To keep me comfortable. Also she periodically checked on her to make sure that I was perfectly fine. This was my first tattoo. And Natasha will definitely be sending me back in her chair.

Fantastic experience: I went there to rapair a botched nose piercing I was trying to fix for almost a year from another shop in town that refused to help. They did an amazing job. My nose was so swollen and sore, I had a crazy irritation bump. (My after care was fantastic) She swapped my nose piercing almost painlessly to find they used a bar that was way to short. she was so delicate and gave me a lot of advice and information. Almost a year later and my nose has finally healed. I’m so grateful for her help and patience during the process. I would 10/10 recommend this shop for any work. THANK YOU!
