Negative experience: Writing for my friend who’s been blocked by the owner after leaving an honest review. She went for an ankle tattoo cover-up but didn’t proceed because the design looked cartoonish. And the hostile behaviour from the staff.The next day, Tez called her just to demand she remove her review, then started yelling when she tried to speak. No customer should be treated like that for giving honest feedback. I was there both times and witnessed it.

Fantastic experience: Mum and I recently got our first tattoo here together. The whole process from booking it in with Nadia, to getting the actual tattoo with Rafe was fantastic. Rafe was a really cool dude and very patient with us asking lots of questions being our first time! Absolutely stoked with the work done by Rafe, exactly what we were after! Absolutely recommend if you are a first timer like us, or just looking for a fantastic local place.

Negative experience: Had my 3 fine line with Georgia in April this year, understanding girl with light hand and quick. So I booked it again for my 15 year old faded ankle tattoo for a cover up. Reggae I guess her name is very aggressive loud and not understanding not listening what customer want and legit fought for 1 hour to have a tattoo engrave in my body look like kids drawing book. And expect me to say yes to that stupidity. I was calm and trying to explain her this is my body and once it’s tattooed we can’t fix it immediately so I don’t like this cartoon drawings it’s not fine art and not detailed looks like meme. Can we please have yes we can do attitude or look for other options but she was loud and stubborn… like I am working under her and I have to follow her commands. I was tired and thirsty after 1 hour talking with her and left without having tattoo because clearly she didn’t wanted to work. Attached photo is what she wanted to engrave and wanted me to blindly believe it will turn out good. And what if not… given the fact of her attitudes she didn’t wanted to listen to customer. Not my lost…..

Fantastic experience: Found my new Tatt artist in Tez! Initially I came to pretty in ink for a correction / alteration on 2 of my previous tattoos from another studio. He is talented artist who draws up your inspo, works with your body lines, flow of the piece and suggests ideas to suit your end goal. My app was fun, comfortable, and love my new ink. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Was tattooed by Johnny, long story short: left is what i asked for and right is what i got. He pretty much got all the details wrong. Did not expect it to be such a sloppy and unprofessional job despite the other great reviews on here but it is what it is! Had a terrible time with customer service trying to get ahold of someone else after going back and forth with Johnny on the pretty in ink instagram account via direct message. After 3 days of repeated calling and messaging, i finally got in contact with Tezz who provided me with a $200 refund for my $250 tattoo- which is better than nothing, thanks. But it still sucks having to be stuck with this tattoo that isn’t even what i asked for. Nonetheless the $200 refund will be contributing to my coverup!!

Fantastic experience: Rafe is my go to tattooist and has been for a while now. Fantastic work honestly. Johnny is a really great guy too and a good yarn whenever you come in. Shop has a nice vibe to it and there’s parking just around the corner on the street. Really recommend anyone who wants ink done to come see either Rafe, or Johnny.

Fantastic experience: I was scheduled for a small first tattoo one day after initially calling the studio. I met with Tez, who helped put together my design and patiently accommodated my many changes in ideas, offering valuable info on what would age well. The studio had a clean and inviting atmosphere, with chill music and impressive art on display. While waiting and throughout the tattoo process, people were coming in and being greeted by first name excitedly, which showed me a care for clients. While waiting, Sonia, the receptionist, approached me, offering a drink and telling me to let her know if I needed anything throughout, making me feel welcome. I found her to be very friendly. Tez thoroughly explained the tattoo process and answered all my questions without hesitation. The tattoo was less painful than I expected, and the final result exceeded my imagination for the idea I had presented initially. During we discussed this being my gateway tattoo and ideas I had for something bigger. After finishing, Tez took time to show me pictures for reference for my next tattoo based off the ideas I'd presented, and I’m excited to get tattooed by him again soon at pretty in ink. Getting a design that was in memory of my dad, I worked closely with Tez to ensure that the design was what I wanted, had the right placement and the font was just right. They worked with me on budget and timings to fit me in at a time that was convenient for me. When you get service like that, it's hard not to come back. Happy returning customer

I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my grandmother who passed recently and reached out to Tez, who previously did my sisters tattoo. Fantastic experience: The team at pretty in ink are the absolute bomb. I came here about a year ago to get 6 tattoos done and Reggae did such an amazing job, so I just had to come back for more. In the last few weeks, I’ve added 8 new pieces and Reggae was great every time I came in. She was super patient with me picking my designs (and then changing them or wanting them slightly different) and then putting them together for me and able to do her own design spin on a few of them and they have all turned out fantastic. Emailing with Moni as well was so easy, and she was super helpful and friendly and made the booking process so quick and effortless. I am over the moon happy with results and can’t wait to get more, 100% would recommended going here.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to get 2x pair lob piercings done on the same day I called and Moni managed to fit me in their schedule. Moni is excellent and knowledgeable when it comes to explaining aftercare, reasons for swelling and what to do with swelling. She was patient and always checked in to see my pain tolerance and to make sure the markings were to my satisfaction! Moni is super thorough and detailed. Highly recommend this place if you don't want to travel to the Inner west. Thanks Moni!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t love this studio enough. Everyone was friendly & welcoming. I put 100% trust into Rafe to cover up an old hand tattoo, the space he had to work with was quite small with my other tattoos around the area, but he truly worked his magic & the tattoo was beyond my expectations, a man truly gifted in what he does. The receptionist was so lovely and the other artists were friendly too, which gave the whole studio a fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to see them again next time I’m in town

The sleeve was complete by Saturday night and the work was much better than I had even anticipated. Very professional service, can’t recommend the guys here enough. Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo ever done, by the amazing Tez, so quick and thorough, will definitely be back to get more done. Studio is so clean, staff is beautiful and friendly, very genuine people aswell, aren’t here to rip off their clients. Fantastic experience: Incredible customer service and very accommodating as a walk in appointment. Got tattooed by Tee who was absolutely amazing from start to finish, incredibly comforting, amazing design and impeccable skills. Couldn’t recommend Tee more and will certainly be coming back for more.
