I was so impressed with how speedy and pain free the whole process was and it was really nice just chatting to Sarah throughout the whole thing!I was paranoid that with my case where the backing was embedded into the skin, it would mean a trip to the ER to get it surgically removed, but I owe you my life Sarah tysm!!! and will def be back to Stone Heart when my ears are healed! 1000/10 staff

Negative experience: I came in excited to get my nostrils pierced. The first staff member told me the piercing girl was “on her break” and asked me to come back in half an hour. No problem I actually did. Silly me for thinking that would help. When I returned, another girl asked what I was there for. I explained again, she gave her laptop a dramatic stare, and said there were “no availabilities.” Then suggested I wait… or just come back another day. Because apparently my time is unlimited. At that point it genuinely felt like they were putting real effort into not doing their job. A perfect example of how to make a customer feel unwelcome. The funniest part? I had given this place 5 stars before because their tattoo work was actually good. But thanks to this beautifully unhelpful customer service, that 5 star has officially dropped to a 1.

Fantastic experience: Easily the cleanest and freshest smelling tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. I attended today to have a dermal removed which was effortless, very experienced piercer had it out in under 30 seconds. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Came to Sarah to get my ears re-pierced, she said they were still open and just needed a taper through it which saved me some money. She took her time helping me pick out some really cute jewelry, walked me through the process, she made it as painless as possible, and gave me a bag of lollipops afterwards!

Total luck! Joeltron was grabbing a quick bite between clients but still dropped everything to chat and pierce us both. Such a legend! His vibe, knowledge, and the whole experience were amazing—and he even helped us pick out the perfect jewellery Even better, we found out he actually lives in Perth, so we’ll be seeing him again at Opal Heart Studio when it’s time to downsize. Huge 10/10 for communication and aftercare — those reminder messages to send healing pics are so handy, and the fact the replies come straight from your piercer... unreal. Fantastic experience: 10/10 would get stabbed again. So I was spiraling into a mild existential crisis because my septum piercing yeeted itself out of my face during what I can only describe as a MegaSonicNuclear sneeze. The piercing? Gone. My dignity? Questionable. I spent 48 hours straight trying to shove that tiny metal gremlin back into my nose like I was defusing a bomb with spaghetti fingers. Absolutely no luck. Enter the protagonist of this anime arc: Sarah from Stone Heart. She walked in like a level 99 healer with maxed-out charisma. Five minutes. That’s all it took. She looked at my struggling, crusty little nose like a mechanic inspecting a dented Prius, and boom—piercing back in, no pain, no fuss. It was surgical. Precise. Biblical. Massive shoutout to Sarah and the gang. If piercings were an Olympic sport, they’d already be banned for being too good. Also, they have cool art on the wall

Negative experience: Awful experience with the receptionist - I went in to by new jewellery for all my piercings, but left with nothing. She was rude, condescending and unhelpful and frankly made it impossible to purchase anything. Such a shame as I’ve had good experiences here in the past but won’t return now.

Fantastic experience: Stoneheart are fabulous! I travel 2 1/2 hours just to purchase a nose stud and get a changeover. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve been to these guys twice now. The Staff there are really friendly and helpful and great taste of metal music on the radio as well all sort of underground metals band that get very little Recognize. Fantastic experience: This was my first time getting a tattoo. I was thinking I had to wait a long time for it to be done since I know tattoo parlours tend to be booked out in advance. But to my surprise I was able to get a session booked in even though I enquired online couple days before. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the vibe feels amazing. Joshua was a friendly and chilling artist and can’t thank him enough for doing my first tattoo. Best experience for a first tattoo. Will definitely be coming back for future tattoos.

Fantastic experience: I came here to retouch my faded gold tattoo and change the colour with red, so it will be more visible. The price I charged was reasonable as I was charged with the minimum price for a small-medium sized coloured tattoo and my tattoist is very friendly too.

Fantastic experience: I had such a fab experience at stone heart a few weeks ago. I went in for my initial consult with Fabio to get new ear piercings after I had gotten uneven ones done a few weeks prior at a different place. Both he and his colleague Sarah were so helpful and patient despite my indecisiveness about which piercings to go with and which earrings to choose. They had a bit of extra time so he offered to do my piercings on the same day which I was so pleased with. I’m 4 weeks in now and they’re holding up swimmingly! In addition to the staff being 10/10, the store’s actual earring range is really great, so much to choose from! I would 100% recommend stone heart for piercings. Thank you Sarah and Fabio!

Fantastic experience: First time getting pierced. I'm male, went for both nipples. I was a bit nervous but the place is very clean and reassuring, everyone very kind. I had a pre-consultation with Fabio who answered all my questions thoroughly and was all around fantastic to deal with. He was also my piercer when my appointment came and he was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. For first time piercings I felt very safe and at ease. The piercing was quick and with minimal pain, and he was very considerate in preparing me mentally for it as he was doing it. Overall it was way less painful for me personally than I had dreaded and I'm sure partly because of his skill and knowledge. I believe Fabio is not the only piercer but I only had the pleasure of engaging with Fabio. I definitely recommend Stone Heart, especially if it is one's first piercing as they are very thorough on all matters of safety, health, etc. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: walked in to get a jewelry change — was really lucky to be attended to immediately (visited on a weekday evening). huge selection of jewelry from renowned brands (bvla, anatometal to name a few) available. studio is also has app cert! was able to change/downsize my forward helix jewelry to threadless jewelry at my preferred budget. got a glass septum jewelry retainer as well. overall i find the jewelry very reasonably priced and will definitely return for more piercings and jewelry!

Negative experience: I had a mixed experience at this tattoo studio. The service was friendly, and the piercing artist was kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, I wouldn’t return or recommend it based on how things turned out. I visited the studio to get a new nose piercing. I had previously worn a nose ring for 8 years, but hadn’t used it for a couple of months. I wanted a new hole in a slightly better position, as I was never fully happy with the original one. After discussing this with the piercer, she convinced me to keep the same hole, saying it would be better for healing, but informed me that my original ring couldn’t be used straight away. She recommended using a stud temporarily to allow proper healing, which made sense. She kindly said she wouldn’t charge me for the piercing itself, only for the jewelry. I mentioned I only needed something simple and inexpensive, as I planned to wear it for just two weeks before switching back to a small ring. I understood that the cost would be around $50. However, when it came time to pay, I was charged $90. I was in a rush and didn’t question it at the time, but later I felt quite disappointed, it felt misleading and overpriced for something so basic. Unfortunately, I left without what I actually came for: a new piercing with better placement and the ability to reuse my original jewelry. While the interaction was pleasant, the overall experience left me feeling taken advantage of.

Fantastic experience: I had a tattoo done yesterday here at Stone Heart and I honestly couldn't be happier My tattoo artist was Todd: I asked him to recreate a drawing from a picture. That was not an easy task since the original was a very damaged painting on a wall. He did it beautifully, even better than I thought it would look like, he understood perfectly what I wanted and I am super super happy with it! Thanks a million Todd, I'd definitely recommend the tattoo studio (and probably come back!)

Fantastic experience: Oh my god, I'm a long-time customer, about six to seven years old. I remember that a female piercer helped me make this lip piercing. At that time, I just landed in Australia and didn't know that I could post reviews on Google. Until today, a friend asked me about piercing and reminded me of this shop. Fantastic experience: I saw Fabio for a Helix piercing and general anatomy assessment and was so happy with the service. He went through all my options patiently, listened to my concerns and was super professional throughout the session. It's obvious he is extremely educated and passionate about his career. I never felt pressured or like I was being up-selled anything at all. The whole shop was sterile, clean, and very welcoming! Knowing all the piercers are APA or AUPP certified is a massive comfort

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I both had piercings done yesterday. Fabio was great with my daughter (11). Made her feel super comfortable, explained what was happening. Super patient, let her know we could take a break at any time. It was finished very quickly, and she took it like a champ. I had a re-piercing and a helix piercing. I don't do pain very well, but it was done very quickly. After only having piercings done with a gun, this was a great experience. I also love the way the after care was explained. A much more enjoyable experience than I have had in the past.

Fantastic experience: Got my conch piercing done here and it was honestly perfect customer service. Gave me and my friend a BUNCH of different really cute designs with a really wide price range. Our piercer was Fabio and the whole process was so honestly easy with him, I expected it to hurt WAY more than it did. Plus, we were walk-ins and still got the whole process done in like 20 mins (went in 4:00pm on a Friday however so maybe make a booking if planning to come in at a busier time). If you want a piercing done in Sydney, this place should deffo be at the top of your list !!

Positive experience: I had a disappointing experience today. I came back to this place for another piercing because I had a good experience here before—the healing process went well and everything was smooth. I had a 12:00 PM appointment and had already chosen my earrings. The piercer went into the room to prepare. Then a white woman arrived and told the front desk she had a 1:00 PM appointment. I assumed my piercer was still sanitizing the equipment or getting things ready, but then they let the woman with the later appointment go in first. She came out a while later, paid, and thanked the same piercer I was booked with. Eventually, they called me in. I asked why the other woman went first even though my appointment was at 12:00 and hers was at 1:00. The piercer just said, “Oh, if someone’s already chosen their earrings, we sometimes let them go first.” I found this completely unreasonable. I had already chosen my earrings too. And even if that were the policy, nobody asked for my input or let me know what was happening while I was just waiting there. It made me feel overlooked and uncomfortable. Another suggestion: when I was selecting earrings, there were no prices displayed. I had to ask the staff every time I was interested in a pair. It would be much more convenient and respectful to have a brochure or display with all the prices. Having to constantly ask is awkward and wastes time—for both customers and staff.

Fantastic experience: Joel from Stone Heart was WELL WORTH the wait (he travels for his work). I had done a lot of research on the intimate piercing I wanted, and discovered that it is anatomy dependent and also easily botched if done by a piercer without good experience in the area. My research led me to Joel and Stone Heart. The studio was very clean. Joel took a lot of time to talk me through what I wanted, jewellery choices and aftercare. Can't recommend him enough. My piercing was well placed, well done and has healed well. They only sell the best quality implant-grade titanium jewellery. Prices for jewellery and piercing were reasonable. The service was great. I am SO HAPPY with intimate piercing. I highly recommend and will return to Joel at Stone Heart again

Fantastic experience: Got my paired nostrils from Sarah or @theserpentpiercer (on instagram). I came in nervous as heck as I haven't been pierced in many years, I wanted my nostrils pierced at a slightly higher gauge too! She greeted me with a big hug and relayed how excited she was to get started, which in turn exchanged my nervousness for excitement! She ran through IN DEPT aftercare for me, potential risks and the outcome I was to expect. I was given an amazing aftercare card which had all of this information in great detail. When we were in the room I got a stress ball to squish, and her aura was incredibly gentle and calm throughout the entire process. She got me to check the dots a million times so that she knew I was a million times happy with her placement, which again made me feel so safe in her hands. The piercings turned out perfect, she was so quick and gentle with the actual piercing part of the service, even though it was a tight and painful spot!!! I couldn't recommend Sarah enough, SHES AMAZING!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk inside Stone Heart you are made to feel included and welcome. Fabio did a wonderful job explaining and performing my tragus piercing. He coached me thoughtfully through the procedure and gave me time and space. He gave me thorough advice about aftercare, follow-up care and troubleshooting. Joel was absolutely divine to speak to on the phone in booking my appointment and helping me with aftercare. A really great experience!

Fantastic experience: My brother and I went in to this place to get piercings done and were blown away with the care we were given by our wonderful piercer. All of our questions were answered very kindly and informatively and the environment was absolutely fantastic. This was by far the most fun piercing place we've been to and we felt like we were in good hands for the duration of the service. We were also given lots of information about aftercare which was a welcome surprise. The pamphlets this place provide tell you everything you need to know about looking after your piercing and include the size, duration of healing and material of your chosen piercing. They also have prices of each type of piercing in the pamphlet so that you can look at what type of piercing you want to get and exactly how much the service costs. There was additionally an aftercare spray offered for sale at the store. It is always so nice to meet a fellow lover of scale puppies and I'm in love with my piercing! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Sarah is a master of her craft, she takes her time to mark up her work and went out of her way to make me feel extra comfortable as I was pretty nervous. She thoroughly talked me through the cleaning and healing process which made me feel much more confident about my choice. I will definitely be considering more piercings!! Fantastic experience: Fabio is the most professional and precise piercer I’ve ever seen stick a sharp in a soft. He likes good things and it shows because he gives the best fashionable advice for your jewellery, keen eyes. I bet he cooks well too. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had my first tattoo done with Frog at Stone Heart Sydney and it was a great experience. I was really impressed by his knowledge and understanding. He listened to my concerns and did exactly what i asked for. Explanation of aftercare was great, overall experience at this studio was 10/10! Thanks guys, will definitely be travelling up from Tassie for any future tattoos i decide on!

Fantastic experience: I had my Nostril pierced by Fabs today and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. He did an excellent explaining the procedure and making it as comfortable as possible on top of that everyone I spoke to in store was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Joel at Stone Heart for piercings enough. Unparalleled professionalism and Joel is incredibly calm and caring. I was super anxious about getting two large gauge lobe piercings but Joel and Sarah immediately relieved my nerves and talked me through everything. Joel clearly loves what he does and wants to ensure that his clients follow the best aftercare routine.

Fantastic experience: I went to a few studios to get piercings done and by far this is the best one that I’ve ever been to. Great skills and a lot of care during the process, and also they provide a lot of guidance for the after care. I can not recommend it enough!!!

Fantastic experience: The man gave us a fair price for the tattoo and was delicate and kind with his pen precision. I was slightly nervous before hand as I had a date the night before that didn’t go so well, I wore my best clothes and my mum confirmed that I looked very handsome and I was absolutely buzzing! However on the date she told me she hated that I kept making these nuts jokes and the fact I kept talking about why generation one Pokémon was the superior generation, so the nerves overall were laying on strong ! The tattoo artist however made me feel completely at ease and I was very happy. We ran a first name tattoo operation, and it was short simple and sharp, and no one made me feel embarrassed as some of the other patrons had really cool tattoos, while I only had a couple so I didn’t feel quite as cool. Overall it was a great experience and 100% will be back

Todd’s attention to detail in my tattoo and patience and advice when I changed idea / size a couple of times was massively appreciated. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome - will definitely be back for my next one and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great place for their next / first tattoo!
