Experiencia fantástica: Ren did a lobe piercing for my very nervous 9-year-old daughter. They were extremely patient and very conscientious about getting my daughter's consent for each step of the process. The shop was clean and professionally run. Not a huge selection of studs for my daughter to choose from, but she was able to find something she was happy with. Excellent experience all around!

Experiencia fantástica: Diego was sweet and kind and I was happy with what he designed. It was my first tattoo and he was gentle and encouraging. I had a great experience. I would recommend him and this establishment highly.

Experiencia negativa: Walked out pissed! I’ve never to a place that charges so much!! $113 for a nose piercing They tripping!!! They don’t even tell you their prices. So you in there guessing. I suggest going to alderwood mall @Sliver safari if you wanna save an extra $30-35. They don’t explain prices so the receipts shows $50 for piercing and the other price says “retail” so I’m guessing they charge for the jewelry and something else cause idk what the other charge was for. Just crazy. Sad that people still pay these prices (ig cause it’s located in Bellevue a rich area) don’t get me started on the tattoo prices. Just a disgrace to the tattoo/piercing industry. ZERO stars if I could. Edit: don’t try to come to my comment that condescending attitude that you guys usually do

Experiencia positiva: I used to love this shop for getting jewelry- great prices, friendly staff, amazing quality. I went in looking for a replacement nose ring. The staff were friendly enough- polite if a bit disinterested. I get it, business is likely slower now that they’re tucked away in an industrial park. There’s only so much you can do before you get bored. The person working the counter asked if I wanted to have the piercer put the new jewelry in, I said no thanks, it’s not a difficult piece to put in. I could not have been more wrong. The threads were so short, easily half the length of the one I had previously. There was barely anything to even screw in. The spare ball they gave me was completely misthreaded; I took the nose ring out to check and sure enough there was no way it was going in. The piercer who did the ionization to add color also adjusted the ring after I mentioned I often flip it up at work. I wonder if when they did that the ends were damaged. They were in a bit of a rush, they’d been stopped on their way out to ionize my jewelry. It was a 45$ and it didn’t even last a week. I have jewelry from Skin and Soul from over 8 years ago, and it’s still in great condition, despite years of wear. To have something from here last less than a week is beyond disappointing and a complete waste of money.

Experiencia negativa: The staff here is super friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, I was disappointed with the outcome of my tattoos. I got them done about six months ago (back in January), and unfortunately, they’ve already blown out to the point where the design is barely visible. I take great care of my tattoos and have both of my sleeves done, so I know how to maintain them properly—this seems to have been an artist error. I can’t speak for all of the artists here, but based on my experience, the work I received didn’t hold up. It’s a real bummer. :(

Samichhh did my tattoo and she did an exceptional job making sure I liked where it was put on my skin down to the design I wanted of the tattoo. I've had 3 pieces done by them now with this being the largest, but this is the first time in this shop and the experience was fantastic. the shops vibes are so nice and the privacy of the rooms is great, especially for longer sessions. can't recommend this place or jorji enough!!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed. I've been coming to Skin and Soul for years now to get piercings and I just recently booked a tattoo appointment. I paid the $120 deposit and I had full intent of arriving to my appointment on time. It was very unfortunate that I got food poisoning on the exact day that I was supposed to come in, but I called them as soon as my symptoms started to show (5-6 hours before the appointment was scheduled). The person on the phone gave me the option to reschedule once I was feeling better, and she even said they would honor the deposit I paid because this was entirely out of my control, which I greatly appreciated. I called again a few hours later to find a reschedule date, and then I was informed that they would actually need to take a second deposit, and that the first one I paid was nonrefundable because I wasn't able to give them a 48 hour notice. I had no way of knowing I would get food poisoning on the day of my appointment, and this policy made me think that I would've been better off insisting on coming in for a 2-3 hour tattoo session after hours of nonstop vomiting. I was so excited for this appointment and I'm gutted that I was given the wrong information that got my hopes up, and that it seems like there is nothing they're willing/able to do to help me. I completely understand that the tattoo artist still needs to get paid for their time drawing and prepping, which is why I would understand if this policy applied only to sudden cancellations that weren't given 48 hours in advance. But this is not my situation; I only had to reschedule for another day. It's not like the drawing and prep time my tattoo artist put in was for nothing. I really loved this place, I just wish their policy was fair. Nobody can ever predict what might happen to them ahead of time, and situations that are completely out of our control should be met with more understanding. I appreciated the sympathy and calm explanation from the second person I talked to, but it sadly doesn't change the fact that I lost 120 dollars over something I could not have predicted, controlled, or handled any better than I did. At this point I need to start the process of finding a tattoo parlor and artist all over again.

Experiencia fantástica: Long time listener, first time caller! I’ve been in the shop a number of times now, and it is always a positive experience. I’ve now been tattooed by samichhh @Samichhhshop (on insta) 3 times now! As recently as last Saturday 2/22. They have amazing bed side service, is crazy skilled at fine lines and text! Is very consent minded, and genuinely a great human. They really have so many great skills I’m always pleased every time I leave the shop! My girlfriend and I tend to visit Samichhh together, which means that they often tattoo us back to back, which I know can be tiring, but they are always nothing but happy to work with us both. They are definitely my new local go to artist! I highly recommend they become yours too!

Samichhh took the time to really understand my needs and reasons for getting tattooed and helped make it a fantastic first and second experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Skin and soul is the best shop in the area for piercings or tattoos! I've been pierced by Liam and Ren 20+ times over the years and have never had anything short of a 100% comfortable, professional, and clean experience. I've gotten 15+ tattoos from several of the wonderful artists at s&s and I love every one. You will find much more variety in styles among skin and soul artists than your avg shop. This shop can accomodate any tattoo need you could possible have. Walk-ins are almost always possible. The FOH staff are really knowledgeable and personable, and the owners Darcy and Michelle are friendly, lovely people. If you want to be pierced or tattoed, do yourself a favor and go with skin and soul. I couldn't recommend this shop highly enough

Experiencia fantástica: I took my bother, Jonny (age 16) in today to get his first ever lobe piercings! We had lots of questions and Darcy (the owner) was there to answer them all with patience and professionalism. Darcy was super sweet with my little one (age 9) and showed her around the very large variety of pins that they have! I don’t remember the name of the person that did Jonny’s piercing but they did a wonderful job of explaining everything throughout the entire process. Skin and Soul Tattoo and Piercing is not only professional and clean, but also welcoming and kind. I would highly recommend coming here!

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly I have bpd and I was completely paranoid manic for all 16 hours(ish?) of our sessions and yet you still gave me a completely warm and comfortable experience. I was very high rambling my ass off, but you responded kindly and personably; not to mention you were able to do it WHILE tattooing me. Your professionalism as an artist is one thing, but your art itself is another; I grabbed a random pic off google and searched what some flowers meant and threw it at you and you turned my arm into your own masterpiece. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve gotten pierced over a dozen times at several parlors and Skin and Soul really had to be the best one I’ve been to - clean, professional and accommodating. Parlors in Seattle are always super expensive, so I was surprised to see the prices here being so affordable. Staff were very kind and went out of their way to fit me into their busy schedule. Ren helped me switch and flip up my septum - was very helpful and gave me tips. Thank you Skin and Soul!

Experiencia negativa: My wife and I decided to get tattoos. My wife arrived and the artist Diego was late. When we asked if it would be ok for her to come home first and then I drive straight there, they said no problem (son was taking a nap). I showed up, Diego was no where to be found and I was told my wife took too long and that they would have to reschedule. Not, sorry for driving all the way up here, but it’s my wife’s fault. Customer service is a premium service, especially these days, they failed. A call or a simple no to accommodating our request would have been fine, Diego simply being at lunch was not worth wasting my life minutes driving up there. We don’t get those back.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to this business since I was 21. So 12 years. They have very knowledgeable and helpful front desk people. The staff is very informative and open to all kinds of questions. I was tattooed today by Wil. Getting the top of your foot tattooed is not fun. But he made it as pleasant as possible. Improving on what I had already had, and taking my input through the process. 10/10

Experiencia negativa: My fiancé and I received our first tattoos from here. Very sentimental tattoos. We share the same little red heart and we are satisfied with the work. The only downside of this experience is the amount of money we paid for our tattoos. They did not inform us on prices until after we were prepped and moments before being tattooed. We felt pressured/obligated to go though with it even though it was a hefty price. We ended up paying $120 per tattoo which was no more than 1cm large.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to Skin and Soul for myself and my friends. Personally, I’ve gotten my nostril, navel, and third lobes done and it’s been an awesome experience. The folks working the front desk are always lovely to talk to, and as someone with anxiety that means a lot; and the piercer (Wren, I believe) is phenomenal. Any nerves I have dissipated when I chatted with any worker there. Highly recommend!

Her attention to detail and fine line work is incredible. Peachy was very friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The tattoo healed beautifully and I'm absolutely thrilled with the result. I highly recommend Peachy!

Experiencia fantástica: my mom and I got tattoos from Sage and he was great! i brought in the drawings for our tattoos and he gave us 3 sizes to choose from. i have some other tattoos already but i sincerely appreciated him explaining everything to my mom and I. great pricing and swift timing as we were both day of walk ins. $120 for each of our tattoos and about 1 hour for each.

Experiencia positiva: Super kind staff! I had a tattoo consultation appointment today at 12:30pm but was running late and using public transportation (I’m new to the area) I got there by 1:00pm. I did call a few times before the appointment of running late to let them know and the staff (Liam) was understanding but because of being late, I wasn’t able to meet with the artist Diego (who I was originally scheduled with and wanted to meet). So the front desk employee (Liam, super nice btw) had me meet with another artist (Tom, also super nice). I like Tom’s tattoo portfolio he showed me, nice work. Will book an appointment for a tattoo session soon in the future because of how nice the studio is and how friendly their staff treated me. Want to give Liam a major thanks for their kindness for letting me chill at the studio while I was waiting for a ride. Thank you! Bonus: they provide snacks and drinks for customers!

Experiencia fantástica: The first time I saw Itzel aka Peachy was for an adorable flash piece she was offering, she is very friendly and sweet and the tattoo turned out so cute! Later I went back with my husband to get wedding ring tattoos which turned out so wonderful, she is very good at giving you options and really customizing it to its ultimate form. I look forward to all the cute stuff I’m gonna get from her in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: I came here about a year ago and got my ears pierced and was nervous as hell. I had done my research and found a sterilized needle done by a pro is the best way to do it. The person here explained it step by step, showed me everything, it was super clean and was almost completely painless. I couldn't have had a better experience. I would highly recommend to others!!!! The other thing I will mention, is I wasn't sure if I had a metal allergy, so I paid for slightly better studs and really liked the opal ones I got. Great selections too! They also told me how to care for my ears if I had any problems. Overall was really easy and they took the worry right out of it!

Skin and Soul piercers are extremely knowledgeable, clean, professional, and kind. I have always been happy with the results. Experiencia positiva: Great jewelry with great variety but will not come to be pierced again. My mother and I came in to get our second lobes pierced and they did a fine job, but we were told we could come back to get the back of our jewelry shortened only to be told that wasn't something they did when we did return months later. Just wish there was better communication before I spent more than I would have on a piece of jewelry I would have purchased in a shorter size before getting pierced.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to love this place, but my experience was horrible. The artist I worked with was very unprofessional. Constant cancelations, they drew a single sketch for my tattoo and gave it to me less than 2 days before my appointment, forcing me to cancel my appointment because the sketch wasn't what I asked for. Then the artist offered a free tattoo to make up for it but then never followed up. I wanted to like this place so badly but the artist I worked with made it impossible. I have the entire dm conversation and cancelations saved too, btw. Edit: This response addresses 1 cancelation. There were 3 different cancelations on her part and 1 that i was forced to make due to her lack of efficiency and work production. I could not have been more understanding, but the artist failed to produce, reschedule, or provide adequate sketches. Not sure how you were caught off guard just because I was nice doesn't mean my experience wasn't bad. Why do I have to reach out when SHE was the one who said SHE would call me to refund and book a free appointment, which was canceled by her and she never ever reached out again. Also, I asked her at least twice to move from insta to email which she refused to do. This is a horrible response and only furthers my bad experience. I took it publicaly to save others from my experience and now you want to devalue and invalidate it...

Experiencia fantástica: I've been getting tattoos here for years. Loved the old location, love the new location even more. The entire staff is fantastic and uses your preferred pronouns without fail. There are trans safety information packets in the lobby, and the artist rooms have closed doors for privacy. Clean, high quality materials. Would give more stars if I could.

They are courteous, knowledgeable, experienced and nonjudgmental! The waiting area even has drinks and snacks they provide their customers at no extra charge! Experiencia fantástica: Adam was awesome with realism art! Gave him something out of a cartoon, and HE created (took him only an hour to draw this up instead of what I gave him via email) this! I've wanted this tattoo for 6-7 years to bring awareness to MS (multiple sclerosis), and he did it! Butterfly symbolizes a brain MRI, and the orange ribbon is the MS ribbon. Thank u SO MUCH! I will definitely be back! When I choose what's next, that is... Again, Thanks, Adam For doing this on the same day that I called. You're incredible! And it means a lot to get this since I have MS, as u know.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother and I came here about a year ago, she got her conch pierced and I got my lobes. They were so kind here, and I will be coming here for any and all future piercings! I actually went back about 6 months after as my conch (2 years old, gotten before my lobes) jewlery fell out and got lost. They were so kind, they helped me get the hole open again and I was able to get better sized jewlery. Throughout both visits they were nothing but kind, and even though I struggled to find the front door the first time, it is such an amazing shop! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!

Experiencia fantástica: I was driving up from Salem to get my nipples pierced and my original piercing place cancelled on me very last minute. All the other places that I called were very rude and did not make me feel comfortable to come in except for this place. I was already nervous for my piercing so it was very nice to have have the staff and piercer be so kinda and make me feel so comfortable. The receptionist was also very reassuring on the experience of the staff and never got irritated with the amount of confirmation questions I asked. I could have not asked for a better experience, especially being such a last minute decision. It has been a little over a week since I got the piercing and it’s healing beautifully! Experiencia negativa: Scheduled to get my tattoo today with Eddie and he arrived 26 mins late. I had scheduled per his timing after a consult and took time off from work. I do not appreciate not valuing other people’s time. Super disappointed at this level of apathy towards their customers. I would be profusely apologizing if i had kept someone waiting, but not Eddie! Hence the one star review.

He brings life to the static design I had in my head all this time. Everyone who works there makes you feel special. Experiencia positiva: my over all experience here has been awesome, I got a piercing a few day's back, very happy with it. only downside is an incomplete tattoo from a few years ago. do to an artist that was always late to our appointments an took to many breaks that in 2 sessions could not get it finished. This artist quoted me $1000 to do the whole thing. only do to their slow work it cost me that whole amount in 2 sessions again its unfinished. the picture I'm posting is what was done on the first section. the next one the only going added was the start of the moon and some flowers other wise it still looks the same. it was supposed to be a half sleeve when finished. the only good thing out of this is this artist is no longer with them. So now I have to live with an unfinished tattoo. Dont get me wrong I love what I have, I just wish it was finished like it was ment to be.

Experiencia negativa: Was referred by the Skin and Soul team to see Eddie since he specializes in the kind of tattoo that I needed. So I made an appointment with him and he was 40 minutes late to the appointment. All we did was talk for 5 minutes and he told me he would send me a sketch in 2-3 days. After a week I called and followed up with him. Now it’s been two weeks and I still have not heard from him which is unfortunate since I was really excited to work with him. Bad service, bad communication would not recommend due to this.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent and friendly team who knows their stuff. Everyone is welcome and respected. Easy to reach by phone. In order to find the new location, turn in off the road and drive all the way up to the back and turn right. Usually you can find cars there. One main door to go through and then another. They have a cool set up and a lot of space. Would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Had my 9 year old daughter’s ears pierced here and it was a great experience. My daughter was pretty nervous, but adamant, that she wanted her ears pierced for her birthday. Everything seemed very clean. The person who pierced her ears was very friendly and patient and explained everything they were doing. They explained the aftercare and gave us a handout how to take care of the piercings. 10/10 would recommend!

Experiencia positiva: (UPDATED BELOW) My daughter came into this place for her very first tattoo. And walked out with a drawing that a child could do better! I’m disgusted. She was so embarrassed she had not shown it to anyone for weeks! I don’t understand how the artist (Adam) allowed her to walk out with lines like that! She is owed a full refund and then some. She lost all trust in this shop and Now I will have to take her somewhere else , and PAY to have it fixed! This was traumatic. Lots of tears cried. Would YOU be happy with it?(Just zoom into the picture and you will see where I’m coming from) (UPDATE) My daughter eventually called in and saw “Diego”, he did a GREAT job and fixed the tattoo. Thank you you did a wonderful job ! We would definitely return to him again.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is professional, polite, and I would recommend it to anyone. My tattooer was Aaron. He gave me two tattoos for a fair price. They turned out perfectly and I love them. When one of my tattoo's saniderm leaked, they cleaned me up and gave me a new one no problem. They also have complimentary snacks and drinks. Amazing place to get a tattoo.

Decided to get one to commemorate my older brother who passed away, and was extremely happy with the results. My tattoo artist was Eddie, and he was AMAZING. Experiencia fantástica: i’ve been to skin and soul twice myself and a few times with my significant other. The staff are always incredibly friendly. The environment around the shop is excellent. The tattoo artists are kind and thoughtful. Recently had Wil do about 2 hours of work and he did a fantastic job. He made things easy and i could tell he really wanted my tattoo to be something i’d love. I’ll probably be back for my yearly tattoo sometime soon!

Experiencia negativa: I waited a while for my tattoos to heal and I can finally write an honest review. I booked with Velvet as a gift for my sister and I to get matching tattoos. Day of, they were not friendly at all and were actually late. The cleaning process took a big chunk of the time and Velvet would disappear for chunks at a time. All in all tattooing time was less than an hour (40 minutes tops) but I got charged for the full two hours. Whatever, pricing is what it is. Lines on the tattoo change in weight. With areas being very thin while other areas are thick. I also got a small black tattoo. The only thing that is filled in is the outline. The inside is a scribble of black with large areas missing ink over all. Not at all what the reference picture was. Friendliness of artist 2/5 Experience 1.5/5 Healed product 1/5

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome shop. I came here to get my septum done. The front desk workers were super nice and helpful. Ren did my piercing and was great. They were communicative, professional, and quick. The piercing was so fast I didn’t even feel it until I left. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I appreciated that everyone was super straight to the point and efficient. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for another piercing.

Ren seems very knowledgeable and trustworthy and the whole staff is always super nice and helpful. Today I got pierced by their new apprentice Liam and it was wonderful as always! Experiencia positiva: Pretty cool shop that’s a little hidden. It’s got a typical american tattoo shop atmosphere, which personally isn’t my favorite. The first piercer I had was very patient and explained the process, however another visit I had, the piercer didn’t seem all the present/aware of what we wanted. They have free snacks and drinks at the ready along with a sitting area if you feel faint or unwell and didn’t rush us to pay.

Today I called to ask a recommendation regarding a helix piercing before my wedding. Whoever picked up was so kind and provided the best honest opinion for me to wait. Experiencia negativa: The piercer is rough and seemed to enjoy causing pain. Also did a bad job with my nose piercing and I had to get it re-done correctly a month later. Edit to add: I got the piercing redone elsewhere, I didn’t trust going back to this shop. This was my fourth facial piercing, 11th piercing total, and I have 30+ tattoos including a large piece on my skull. My pain tolerance is high and I’m very comfortable with the tattoo/piercing environment.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my first piercing here for my ear lobes. The front staff are super nice and we're really patient and helpful explaining how things worked and taking me thru the steps. I picked a couple of earrings out and then the piercer Liam was awesome! Almost no pain at all and ge was super nice and explained everything. Came out and I am super happy! Would totally recommend to new and experienced this shop. I saw their tattoo work too and it looked awesome.
