Experiencia negativa: hack jobs, all of them. never once have I had a good experience here and I wouldn't recommend. I cringe anytime I hear a friend went and got pierced here just because it was in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: Got lobes and conch pierced all at ones. I have really bad fear of needles & medical pain and they couldn't have been the nicest and the most accommodating as I'm literally shaking on the table, trying not to lose consciousness. I got the calmest older guy which has made the experience so much better. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will be coming back and highly recommend for anyone who are anxious about piercing and looking for healing quality. Lobes were pretty much painless and conch had a bit of a bite but I've had worse pains at the gym lol. 2nd day on healing (picture attached) and lobes already feel like exactly like my healed ones and conch is also looking good. No blood at all. Ahh I'm so happy I chose this place.

I wanted to re-pierce my nose in an effort to hide the hypertrophic scar that developed on my nose from a previous piercing that I mishandled. We had a thorough conversation about what I wanted and things to look out for during the healing process. We worked together to ensure that I’ll be happy with the placement of the piercing…I was more than happy with it. Experiencia fantástica: i got my industrial done six months ago and the piercer was SO precise. he put time and care into making sure the piercings were aligned properly so the jewelry would be even and not touch my ear. it turned out AMAZING. i wish i didn’t forget his name but after that experience i would trust that man with piercing my firstborn. he was also very knowledgeable and patient enough to answer my ten dozen questions before going with my decision. everyone there was super nice and it was overall a great experience. i’ve only been to one other piercing shop but this is by far my favorite. and as someone who often likes to cheap out on things, i think the prices are worth the service you get.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to love this place because everyone seemed so friendly and educated but unfortunately I was wrong. I came here because they’re listed under the APP. I was unsure that my anatomy was right for the piercing I wanted so finding an APP was a must. I wanted a navel piercing, and after years of consideration I chose this place. I got a consultation and was told my anatomy worked so I went thru with the piercing. It turned out to be crooked. I came back in and got a consultation with it, and the piercer advised me to that it had a 50% chance of rejecting because the piercing wasn’t deep enough. I decided to take it out and waited 3 months to get it re pierced. I was super happy with the second piercing because it was perfectly straight! After a couple days it was still super painful mostly when sitting…. Turns out I did NOT have the right anatomy for this piercing and I had to take it out. Now I’m left with a $80 piece of jewelry I can’t use, scars and disappointment.

Experiencia fantástica: Best piercing experience EVER! I got my septum pierced here about a month ago after a particularly brutal piercing experience elsewhere. After a botched septum piercing years ago I had said I'd never get this piercing again but after a few years, decided I'd try again. I had heard great things about Pierced Hearts and their pricing was totally reasonable. I didn't choose a piercer but got set up with Connor who is AMAZING. They walked me through everything, were super precise, took their time, and made me feel super comfortable. As Connor, and the rest of the staff were made aware immediately, I felt almost NOTHING, and was super impressed! This was such a far cry from my first experience and since getting my septum pierced, the healing process has been super easy. Very happy with the whole process and the results! Thanks gang! It was my first cartilage piercing, so I was a bit nervous, and he was very calming and talked me through the very quick (and surprisingly mostly painless) process. Was a wonderful experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in about 4–5 days ago to get a vertical labret and an eyebrow piercing, and Connor did an amazing job! He was super patient with me and absolutely nailed both piercings, definitely a 10/10 experience. I’ve had little to no swelling, no bruising on my eyebrow, and my lip piercing is perfectly placed. He did an excellent job, being very sensitive to her nervousness and calmly explaining everything he was doing so she knew what to expect. Her piercing looks great and she reported no pain during the procedure. Connor is a true professional and I am so grateful that my daughter ended up in his capable hands. In addition to Connor, the staff at Pierced Hearts were very kind and knowledgeable. They do hollow-needle piercing, so there is not a piercing gun in sight - an important factor for me. They provided us with detailed care instructions to make sure the piercing heals without complications. They have an impressive selection of starter earrings from which to choose, which was a highlight for my daughter. She's already planning her next pair of earrings once the piercing heals in 6 months. I was scared it was going to hurt because it’s been hurting bad prior but it took him less than a second to get it out, plus they only charged me $5 for removal, when other places charge more. Experiencia negativa: I think I’ve had about 25 piercings in my life and this shop Is a complete rip off. They do an absolutely fine job piercing; they are sterile and they do a good job with the actual piercing job. I had a few lobes pierced/Re-pierced here, w simple, cheap captive bead rings. I thought it was a bit expensive, but they did a good job and I was satisfied. But recently I had my daith and conch pierced Using a gift certificate. My brother got the gift certificate as a gift and when he bought it, he was assured it would cover two piercings “Depending on the jewelry.” I felt incredibly pressured and up sold into buying expensive jewelry that I couldn’t afford, And somehow, despite using a $100 gift certificate, I walked out paying almost $300 For a daith With a captive bead ring and a conch w what was, I was told, “a forever piece” Of expensive jewelry. Turns out that it is not “forever,” bc it has to leave space for swelling. So now that the piercing is healed, it doesn’t fit snug and I’m going to have to get a new earring that sits in place. So I completely wasted my money on this expensive earring And I feel like they completely ripped me off Piercing me w this wasteful expensive piece. I almost asked them how I could’ve paid that much, but I felt dumb and just wanted to leave so I paid and left. I had been really excited about my new piercings for Christmas then felt ripped off and upsold. Eg, they tried to give me their saline wash, and I said I didn’t need it bc I don’t use it. I’ll bet you $375 (two cartilage piercings) they still charged me! And I still had to tip the guy. I didn’t want to. $100 gift certificate and $275 on top of that, For a tiny gold earring with cubic zirconia and a $2 captive bead ring for two cartilage piercings?? I felt like a complete fool. I wasn’t going to leave a negative review until today. My daith is healed and I’m ready to switch out the ring. The store is on my way home and so I stopped in to look at their jewelry for ideas for what to buy online (NOT from them; I just wanted to see sizes). I asked a question about them changing jewelry that I bought on Etsy, and the rude, snotty guy at the desk practically bit my head off saying “WE DONT CHANGE JEWELRY FROM ETSY” And then something about how it has to be from THEIR shop. I pointed out that it CLEARLY says on their price list that a jewelry change from them costs $5 And a jewelry change from somewhere else costs $20. He sputtered that what they MEANT was jewelry from ANOTHER “fancy” place. And then blathered some nonsense about how you can somehow prove that it’s “fancy” enough for them to deem it acceptable for them to stick it in your ear hole. I’m standing there thinking about how it felt to give them $275 on top of the hundred dollar gift certificate to get those two piercings, after they had pressured me to get the “nice” (lol, cubic zirconia) “forever” piece that you have to take it out once it heals because it’s wiggling around, feeling foolish but unable to speak up from shame and BARELY avoiding buying something expensive for the other piercing from the pressure they put on me. And NOW he’s telling me that my purchase of a $150 14k gold ring I find from a reputable seller online isn’t somehow good enough for them to perform an advertised service??? And yet if I go to ooooh BVLA I’m so COOL and TRENDY they’ll deem me sufficiently acceptable to service me? “We have no way of knowing what’s in the jewelry.” But…. You do….. if…. What? Yet somehow they have some magic wizardry where they DO know what’s in it if I buy it from ANOTHER scam shop. I called Slave to the Needle and the woman was SO NICE and she said “heck yes we’d be happy to do your jewelry change! Just call us up and make an appointment whenever. Sure wherever you buy it as long as it’s healed.” I’ve had my tongue pierced there too and they were AWESOME. So no offense but Pierced Hearts sucks go to Slave to the Needle in Ballard.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in and got a nose ring put back in today after it being out for over a year and a half. Went in expecting it to have closed and needing a brand new pierce. Alan took one look, found the hole and put it right back in. Went in expecting to pay $90 for everything and ending up only paying $40. This place is still a gem.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn't really recommend this place for difficult piercings, I got my nips done and only after a year and a half I realized they had given me the bigger gauge making the healing process terrible, almost 2 years later my piercings are finally healing after changing the gauge but they were also pierced at a diagonal. Lots of things were wrong with my only experience but everyone was so sweet and patient.

I found pricing was ever so slightly less than some other options as well for my specific piercing. They also gave me free saline, a pen, a lollipop, and a coupon for jewelry after I was done. Experiencia fantástica: Got my nostril pierced here. Super welcoming at the front desk, and the same for Eric my piercer. They give you a mirror and hold up jewelry to your face to allow you to choose what you would like after giving you time to select a couple options. Eric listened to my input and put several little dots on my nose when I asked him to adjust the spot on my nose. The piercing was done smoothly, barely felt any pain. I decided I didn’t want a piercing after couple days and when I went back they were super understanding and took it out free of charge (unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the other piercer who took it out but he was also lovely).

I definitely owe a lot of that to the studio and their professionalism. I also appreciated the welcoming environment. Makes it easier to ask all of the dumb but important questions and speaking up beforehand if there are any reservations about something. Will be back!

They let 3 of us get love piercings together which was really great since my other friends were nervous for their first piercings (this was my fourth!). Very professional and safe, talked thru everything, lots of jewelry options and good insight on what to choose/placement. Definitely will come back. Everything is healed now, no problems (though of course, the healing is omul to you!)

Zack (Zach?) in the front was so friendly and accommodating - they made the front area really welcoming. We had an individual in our group who didn’t have an appointment, but they did their best to fit us in and communicated timelines super clearly. Once we were taken back, our piercer, Jason, was the perfect mix of professional and approachable. They obviously knew their anatomy and had good recommendations for placements, but also held space for our individual preferences. I really appreciate how conversational Jason was, and how willing they were to answer any random questions we had. I don’t often give reviews, but it was so outstanding that I gotta! I made an appointment the day before to get a couple of piercings and was scheduled with Jason a guest piercer who owns his own shop in Virginia, but comes out here every few months. He made me feel so comfortable and was so nice and professional, which I really appreciated since my piercings were a little more intimate. The whole shop is super clean, efficient, and friendly. Could not recommend this place more and I cannot wait to go back for my next piercings and jewelry changes!

My friend and I had a jewelry change appointment scheduled for her yesterday at a different piercing shop (I'll refrain from exposing them). We had paid the appointment deposit but upon arrival they asked how long ago the piercing was done (5 months ago) and sent us away without even looking at the piercing and how healed it was. It wasn't the fact that they said no, but HOW they said no that left a bad taste. There was no offer to inspect the piercing, get a different new piercing instead, or give some education on the healing process of piercings. We were both bummed since we had been looking forward to this, and based our day around this appointment. I called Pierced Hearts to see if they accept walk-ins, and talking to Zack on the phone was a breath of fresh air. He empathized, explained some about the healing process and why timing is important, and told us we could walk in and have a piercer take a look to see if the piercing was ready. Frankie performed the jewelry change, was both kind and professional, and helped us completely redeem our day! Connor was awesome as well. Whoever's in charge of the payroll, get these homies a raise ASAP! <3

Experiencia fantástica: My kids age 6 and 8 have now had 2 experiences at Pierced Hearts. Piercers Adam and Jason were both amazing, kind, thoughtful, and calm, and so experienced with kids. Their jewelry collection is perfect (flat back, shiny and sparkly front, safe for allergic people) and was autoclaved before placement. Front desk staff (Zach and I forgot the other person's name, sorry) were both so thorough and really explained everything so completely that we had no additional questions. Highly recommend!

The vibes were great, I felt very comfortable there and it was a well decorated space. Val was absolutely incredible. She made me feel at ease immediately. Other people working at the studio were in good spirits and friendly. My friend and I had a great time and the tattoo turned out beautifully. Val has a light hand and the healing process has been so easy! I followed her advice to the letter and it barely even scabbed. The lines are so clean. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a tattoo, and I enjoyed my time at Pierced Hearts.

Experiencia negativa: Wish I could give a better review. Initial experience was great. Got 4 ear piercings and jewelry. Expensive- but I know it's quality and clean. 2 months later, one of the earrings came out. Luckily I heard it and could grab it. I got over there ASAP. Had to wait 30 minutes but they were nice and put it back in. I guess they typically would charge which seems odd to me since it's a failure with what they sold me. But they didn't charge. 2 months later, the exact same jewelry fell out. This time, I was asleep and so I could not find it. I called to see how I could get an appointment and was told that they do not make appointments for this. I was given some insight on when they are least busy but it's all when I work so there fore not very helpful. Even though this is the 2nd time their product failed, there was nothing more they were willing to do. For spending $1K in services, jewelry, and gratuity, and twice failed equipment which was not due to any error on my end, my expectations for customer service are higher than 'there's nothing we can do about that.' Just know that they will be great as long everything goes well, but don't expect to get customer service even if it's a problem on their end.

Experiencia negativa: Came in for a replacement piece for my eyebrow piece. To be fair, it was externally threaded instead of internal, so i needed a whole new one. I thought the reason it was so expensive was due to the fact i wanted it put in, but in reality the WHOLE tiny metal piece was close to $70??? I feel so upset and ripped off. I have friends who I asked about this and they said I was ripped off. I spent all day trying to find the lost piece and absolutely did NOT expect to spend that much on a replacement. I wish that was MUCH clearer when I went in. I’m very disappointed and frustrated after seeing such great reviews. I was hoping to be one as well.

Experiencia negativa: Won't let you make an appointment for jewelry change. They will tell you to just walk in for it. If you do, they also won't be telling you how long the wait is going to be either. It's for a piercing that needed to be stretched, so we waited. We watched multiple people, who I don't think actually had any real appointments, walk in and get serviced ahead of us. Even if they did, communication would've been better than letting us sit for hours. After at least 2.5 hours when I finally asked why we weren't next, they said they were booked for the night but ".. had blocked off the last half hour..." meaning they expected us to wait from 4:30pm until 8:30pm to get the jewelry changed. Either don't accept walk ins, and let people make appointments OR fit people in between your appointments. Don't just leave them sitting there all night. Not only are you losing money that way, you are upsetting your customers who will not be recommending you in the future. We are still paying for the service. We pay for the jewelry, and the time too - we deserve to be treated more fairly. How disappointing.

Jason went over every step and tool, explained the piece of jewelry to me, heal time, what to be cautious of and not, and was a very friendly and kind individual. I cant recommend the shop enough! They know their stuff, have lots of info on their website, and will make sure you leave with a pamphlet detailing aftercare (all shops should be doing this!!) Hot tip: What you DON'T want in a piercing artist is someone who will say they'll "do anything"- recipe for disaster. The fact that they put their "NOPE" piercings on their website is super professional, honestly brave, and a huge green flag if you're deciding on where to spend your money!

This time, Jason did it and talked me through the whole thing and it was virtually painless! And it looks INCREDIBLE!! He fit it to my nose well and got it to look very even despite my deviated septum and my uneven nostrils :) I’ll definitely be going here and to Jason for all of my future piercings ☺️

They have a very large assortment of body jewelry, including precious metals. Charlotte sized me and performed the jewelry change and she is awesome. Experiencia fantástica: My friend and I got our septums pierced with Jason and he was WONDERFUL. I had previously gotten my septum pierced but it was pierced incorrectly (and painfully) so I was nervous to get it redone. Knowing this, Jason took his time to ensure my comfort and accuracy when piercing. Practically no pain this time with the exception of pressure and a pinch. He was very friendly and easy to talk to which is always a lovely bonus. Thanks for the great piercings Jason!

Experiencia fantástica: My 3 friends and I went in as a walk in on a Saturday and were seen immediately! Everyone was super nice and helpful. We were seen by 3 different piercers, and all were lovely! I was lightheaded after my piercing and had to sit down and my piercer immediately offered me a lollypop (for sugar) and some water, and was told there was no rush and to take as long as I needed. I'll definitely be back here. <3

Experiencia fantástica: This is the place I always go to for any piercings! I've gotten my second lobes, multiple helixes, and conch here- and never have been disappointed with the service. I always have healing issues with my helix, because they tend to be finicky and will swell up a lot. Jason was so extremely patient and careful to explain any concerns, which immensely reduces my anxiety every time I have any issues with my piercing. I appreciate Jason so much for his exceptional customer service and he's just a great person! The parlor is extremely well kept and sanitary, and I can't recommend this place enough if you're nervous about getting any piercing services done.

Experiencia fantástica: Went here on a lil impromptu piercing session after a very bad day. Nobody else had room or even answered their phone. I am so thankful that was the case. This is hands down the best experience I’ve had being in a body piercing/tattoo parlor. The place was clean, everyone was super friendly and helpful. My piercer went above and beyond and we had a such a good chat during my appointment. I got 3 done- my philtrum, rook, and eyebrow. The placement is immaculate; I quite literally wouldn’t change a single thing about them. The healing? Going so smoothly. I’ve had nostril piercings that gave me more grief than any of these. Additionally, unlike some places in the area who stock primarily “fashion” jewelry options (that run a high cost), Pierced Hearts keep a plethora of options, and don’t try to push ornate jewelry onto customers or limiting their “lower end” or “more casual” jewelry. I’ve been pierced at places that didn’t have ANY steel/titanium jewelry without gemstones or decorations. I generally don’t like traveling into the city; however, I will never have a single problem making the drive to Seattle to get to visit this shop again. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience, including how staff interacted with each other and other clients. All in all 10/10. I’ll be telling everyone I know. Chuck and her team are as wonderful as everyone here says, and I'm very glad I made the choice to have the piercing done here vs. the gun at a mall. They were every bit ready to work with a kid as an adult, were patient, kind and professional. The piercings have been perfect - zero inflammation or infection. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Got my ears pierced here. A lot of pretty jewelry to pick from and the person at the front desk was very helpful getting me something in my price range that I enjoyed. Had a fantastic experience with the piercing itself, it was quick and painless and Jason did such a good job making me feel comfortable. I want to share, this was my first time getting a needle piercing and I was a bit anxious going in. I ended up feeling a bit faint and passed out in the lobby as I was on my way out. The people in the studio were very helpful and quick to make sure I was alright. Jason was incredibly sweet and made me feel safe while I was recovering. If you get anxious or have never gotten any piercings done before I would absolutely reccomend this place! Quite a wonderful set of people working here :)

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! Was here to see Paul Dannahue (spelled that last name totally wrong) he was a guest artist there from Pennsylvania. The shop was clean and awesome. Staff were accommodating and the whole experience was very comfortable. I was there for a tattoo but they seem to do piercing really well and have a ton of amazing and reasonably priced jewelry to choose from as well as offer custom jewelry. Would absolutely consider getting pierced here.

All three were done with the upmost care and professionalism you could ask for with something so permanent as a piercing. All of my piercings were done and placed perfectly, with 0 healing issues. They are quick and precise. The staff take time to make you comfortable, informed, and happy with your piercings. Plus, the pricing of piercings at this place are extremely fair for the medical grade experience you are given. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a piercing DONE RIGHT.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a septum piercing done by Jason on Jan 25th, managed to get in same day. Having previously had my septum pierced, I was a little cautious about the relatively minor pain that happened last time. I got in and the person at the front (I forgot your name I'm so sorry) helped me pick out the initial piercing and was even able to help make it rose gold in color instead of plain silver! Jason was clearly very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable. The piercing itself was absolutely painless, completely unlike the first time I had it done. I barely even noticed the needle went in. Extremely pleased with my experience all around. Would happily go back (except I only want my septum pierced) and would absolutely recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Went in July for 2x nipple piercings for myself (male) and 1x earlobe piercing for a friend (male). Both done by Jason. Visited again after ~2 months due to some irritation issues with both but was told it was fine and to just let them keep healing. Around the 5 month mark things were still not much better. Ear piercing was constantly very swollen red and irritated, and nipple piercings were getting recurring oozing irritation bumps as well every month or so. Visited a different shop recently and the ear piercing was diagnosed as having the wrong kind of starter jewelry while the nipple piercings were too deep and would never properly heal. Earring was replaced with a stud and that piercing is now MUCH better. Nipple bars had to come out so they can heal back up and I can try again, not so deep next time. Super disappointing about the wasted time and money as reviews were so positive for this place. Wish I'd seen Chuck instead as she's APP certified (I believe Jason is not) but I didn't know that when I made the initial booking. FWIW the place was nice and the people were very friendly.

The piercer, Jason, was incredibly educated and super helpful when it came to explaining the ins and outs of both the process and any questions I had. I have a history of fainting so I let them know and they made sure that I was laying down, and they let me take as much time as I needed to make sure I was ok and comfortable. He knows his anatomy and the piercing looks absolutely amazing, 10/10 experience overall!
