I have a go to tattoo lady at a different shop now and she is absolutely wonderful. You're welcome to go here just have a strong voice and be firm on what you do/dont want.

Experiencia fantástica: I got a tattoo done on my ribs last Sunday by Lonnie and he was wonderful! Even though I know I was not a very good client because I was in so much pain and kept on moving accidentally, he was very kind about it and even took the time to fix a few lines I messed him up on when I jumped. All in all the pain was worth it though, because I love the tattoo, and it’s a wonderful tribute for my grandmothers that I will cherish forever. Thank you again, I definitely plan to come back in the future! (The first picture is the tattoo the day I got it, and the second is from this morning!)

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience getting a tattoo here. It's a very clean, hygienic shop, super relaxing environment and nice people working here. The main tattoo artist has been giving tattoos for 41 years. The shading on my tattoo was done very well and he made sure that it would heal properly. He also touched up some of my past tattoos. The pricing is very reasonable as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Very clean! It is very visually pleasant, with artwork displayed all over the place. My fiancee and I got pierced by Creighton Lute. He was very kind, safe, and even assuring. When I mentioned being a little ocd, he let me know he was as well, and I definitely felt better knowing that, and trusted I would have a centered lip pericing. He counted down and pierced quickly and efficiently. I did bleed a bit more that we expected, none to his fault, but his calm nature assured me I was in good hands. He checked on it before doing my fiancees and after, and assured me there was nothing to worry about. My fiancee has a lower pain tolerance than I and he was very patient and calm with her. He made sure to tell us both every step he took. Great service, amazing price, and provided after care.

Experiencia negativa: I went to go get my conch pierced here in August, and they completely messed it up. They pierced it in the wrong place and used way too small of a gauge. The piercing got so infected and never healed. The other piercing place was horrified when they were removing it. They were also super aggressive and not nice. Do not come here.

I went after a coworker referred me to them. I scheduled an appointment. Styx nailed it!! Came out better than I could have imagined. I was so impressed I set up to have an other drawing that day. So if you’re thinking of a getting ink, remember it’s there forever, so this would be a shop I would trust to be sure it’s done right and looks amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: went in tonight around 8:40 pm to get a walk in tattoo, the woman who greeted me while i walked into the room was more than nice and her customer service was amazing, didn’t come off rude nor rushing you a single bit, lonnie, who had done two tattoos on my upper arm did such an amazing job and i am more than happy with his work and communication skills! his work is neat and clean, he was super quick but not in a bad way at all, worked very sufficiently. his conversation skills were through the roof and i will definitely be coming back to get more done by him! very good line work and overall very good tattoo.

Experiencia fantástica: LOVED the exspeirience. My artist was verry nice and worked quick. She was honest with me. I spent $60 without adding in the tip i put. I got my seconds done on my ear lobe. I didn't get to pick the jewelery but loved the atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The artist only had 10 more minutes before her next client but got me done in about 5 minutes because of my engziety. It has now been 6 days and feels like hardly any bruising, and no crustieness. This was my first time getting a peircing with a needle and l definitely go back to get my thirds! I am considering even going for a tattoo one day. Loved it so much and whould recomend. DON'T KNOW HOW TO TAKE THEM OUT THOUGH!

Experiencia negativa: I went here a few years ago to get three piercings. They were not where I wanted (I wasn't given the opportunity to check first), they were too close together, and they only gave me 4mm bars to start. 4. mm. bars. All three embedded within the week and I had to dig them out and ended up fighting with them for 8 months until I decided to let them go. Today I went to a different piercer to try to get them redone how I actually wanted and they said the old ones (that I got here) scarred so badly they wouldn't recommend doing it again. Don't go here if you want good piercings

Experiencia fantástica: Spur of the moment place was found while traveling from Myrtle Beach to our hometown in Louisville, Kentucky. We wanted to get commemorative tattoos of our time at the beach. From the road, we spoke to a lovely lady by the name of Anna on the phone who was wonderful and said, "Come on in when you get to town." We had about a 4-hour drive at that point. We got there and met David and Lonnie. Both were wonderful and did beautifuI work. I highly recommend this place for its hospitality, as well as the store itself, which is immaculate, neat, and clean. The customer service is amazing, and the tattoos are phenomenal. Definitely go see Lonnie and Anna and the rest of the crew. We will definitely be driving back from Louisville to see them again. 11/1/24 - Drove down from Louisville just to see Lonnie. He did touch-up/fine tuning of the lettering someone else did on my arm and a refresh of this summers tattoo he did. Was a great time. Lonnie is the nicest man. Such a clean place and much care goes into his work.. Won't go anywhere else. This is saying a lot as it is a 4 hour drive one way. Thanks again, Lonnie!

Experiencia negativa: Came here during the summer and paid 120$ for two piercings. The people at the front desk were nice, however, my piercer had me feeling rushed. I don't remember his name, but I remember they were tall. Barley talked to me during the piercing, hardly explained healing process, and did not tell me to come back for a downsize. Now my piercing has bumps, is crooked, and doesn't seem to be healing. For the price, I expected much more. I got two other piercings at a different shop for less than half the price and they are already doing so much better (and the piercer was polite). Save your money ;P

Me and my husband were in the area for a short time and decided to get tattoo's, very clean professional and SO nice I had my daughter with us and was going to swap out (one of us adults in the car with my girl and then the other goes in after the first is done ) but they said it was ok for her to wait in the waiting area and even offered to keep a eye on her when my hubby was in the bathroom very clean line work and they even sent aftercare instructions to my email.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing tattoos! On a road trip through Knoxville and decided to stop for a tattoo with my mom. Made an appointment and saw David. He did exactly what I asked for. Love the tattoo. We did have to wait a little over an hour past our appointment until we got tattooed, but it was definitely worth it! Nicest tattoo shop I’ve been in and if you’re wanting a tattoo in Knoxville, then this is the place to go. Will be coming back for future tattoos!

Booked my appt with Courtney online, and got a piercing and a couple of tattoos from Courtney this past month. Clean space, lovely nerdy vibes. The piercing was a conch and healed up great. Tattoos were quick and executed well, priced mainly on the piece rather than hourly. Courtney was excellent in her professional role while still shooting the breeze. I will definitely go back to see her as time allows!

Experiencia negativa: My friend and I visited the shop in April for a small tattoo. My friend had Lonnie do hers. It was her first! It looks terrible the color just bled out from the lines. So sad. Luckily, InkBuddy came in from lunch in time to do what I wanted. A little butterfly behind my ear. Absolutely beautiful ❤️. So, while he was working on me, we talked about some more ink I wanted. It was a very personal tat and we discussed backed and forth about it. Went back to the shop, mid April to make a deposit for my tattoo to be done May 13. As the day grew near, I visited the shop to talk to Bud. I was told he didn’t work there anymore I reached out to Bud by text and he told me, he was let go. I had made a $200 deposit for this ink! I went back and asked about my deposit and April told me all Bud’s deposit would transfer to him. Well… it didn’t happen . Bud honored my deposit and my tattoo is beautiful. So… shame on you Archangel!!!! Bad business!! I was told later by April, that I would have a credit with them!! Never, will go there!! See Inkbuddy at Whitts True Tattoo for all your needs!!

Experiencia negativa: The artist I booked with quit working there, and the shop had already taken my $200 deposit. They refuse to give it back, and didn’t even have the decency to tell me themselves. The artist reached out to me personally and let me know what was going on. I will never be going back to this shop and neither should anyone else. They have lost 3 of their artists in the past month. Most likely due to their terrible management and toxic atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: For me, I’ve always said I’ll wait until my daughter asks to get her ears pierced. She finally reached an age (5) where she decided that she wanted them done! It was incredibly difficult to find a place that would pierce her age. I’m thankful I found this place! I couldn’t recommend them enough! They do amazing with kids! The facility was clean. I heard the receptionist speak to the client after us about how it may possibly be a wait. They are certain to take their time with any child, and not rush them! That warmed my heart! Our piercer, Miss French, had the most awesome room! She was welcoming, and put my baby at ease! I appreciate you all helping my daughter express herself with these piercings! She loves them! She’s been showing everyone their beauty. Lol. For me, all of this research about getting her piercings has led me to wanting a tattoo at your facility. I will be back! Thank you!

I spent hours researching artists/shops and I am so glad I landed here. The environment there is so friendly and welcoming.

He’s extremely talented and charges bargain prices for work of his caliber. April does a phenomenal job at the front desk and everyone in the shop is easy to talk to. Experiencia fantástica: This tattoo shop is by far the best around they have very reasonable prices for the outstanding quality of work they provide my favorite artist is Creighton. I give him just a small idea with no real way I want it and he comes up with a work of art and not to mention his room is decorated and designed tastefully. Overall this is a great tattoo shop very clean an sanitary for all your tattoo and piercing needs in the East Tennessee area. Would recommend 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: Renae did mine and my sister’s medusa piercing! She was so kind and so funny, she definitely made all of my anxiousness about it immediately go away. Unlike some other piercers i’ve gone to Renae actually made me feel so comfortable, and even gave me advice on starting a career in the tattoo/piercing industry. The piercing itself was so quick and overall pretty painless. I’ll definitely be coming back to see Renae again! Highly recommend her for all your piercings! 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: Anyone looking for a great tattoo place, here it is. This is easily the best tattoo shop in tennessee. Friendly staff, amazing artists. Courtney French has done 6 of my tattoos, I go to her everytime. She’s sweet and very talented. For my most recent tattoo, I had Lonnie, now I won’t lie I was hesitant because I only trusted Courtney, but he did an amazing job. He knew exactly what to do and i’m so glad he did my tattoo. He turned a simple outline into something awesome. I just wanted to leave a nice review and thank the archangel staff for all they do!

Tonight, I had the pleasure of getting Chadrick Gregory for my piercer! I definitely want to give a HUGE shoutout to him! He was kind, patient and a PRO!
