Fantastic experience: My left lobe piercing had slightly closed after 31 YEARS (still wild to me ), and Scotty handled it like a pro. He was honest, patient, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. He checked in constantly to make sure I wasn’t in pain and explained everything step by step. The shop is extremely clean, gloves were changed frequently anytime anything was touched beyond my skin, the place smelled great, and everyone was masked to help prevent inhaling airborne pathogens. The vibes were immaculate, the professionalism was top-tier, he even he offered thoughtful recommendations when I asked about tattoo cover-up ideas and accommodated my nickel allergy. Fantastic experience: Had an awesome experience at Double Deuce Tattoo in Cary. From the moment I walked in, the shop was clean, welcoming, and professional. The staff was friendly, took the time to answer my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable through the whole process. Fantastic experience: This shop is wonderful. I got my tongue pierced by the apprentice piercer today and he did a fantastic job. The owner did a wonderful job thoroughly explaining things to him as well as me. I’ll definitely visit them against especially when I get back to doing my sleeves. Fantastic experience: I met Scotty in a situation unrelated to tattoos. Such a cool guy. After several months of seeing the work that he and his fellow artists do at Double Deuce Tattoo my wife and I decided to do the “Get What You Get” for outlet first tattoos. The place was perfectly clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We felt at home from the moment we got there and until we left. Eddie is a spectacular artist. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at Double Deuce. I had been working with Scotty for a few months to figure out what I wanted and we were having a hard time nailing it down via email and phone. I ended up coming into my appointment without a prepared design but he worked with me for at least 45 mins while we got the details right. He was very patient with how picky I was being and listened to everything I said. He was also honest about how confident he felt doing the actual tattoo. I wanted a fine line piece and he recommended Eddie, who had more experience in the style. Eddie was awesome, always checking on me during the sitting, making sure I was comfortable, giving me breaks, and creating a safe space where I could advocate for my needs. I love how my tattoo turned out and can’t wait to see it fully healed in a few weeks. The studio itself was clean and calm, not intimidating like some other tattoo shops that I’ve been in. I fully recommend Double Deuce and would return if I wanted another tattoo.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience getting my nipple piercings done by Scotty. He made me feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and the shop was super clean. He went above and beyond to make sure I was feeling okay before, during, and after each step of the piercing because I have a tendency to get lightheaded during piercings. He was very professional, and gave great aftercare instructions. The piercings look great - highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Booked an open slot to get tattooed by Eddie. Great customer service and amazing artwork. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I had no doubts that my tattoo session was going to go well. I will be back to add color to one of the pieces once it heals. Also to get more work done. Eddie is definitely going to give my wallet a run for its money. Overall exuberant experience, no complaints. I have a decent amount of tattoos, yet Eddie still went over aftercare and made sure to ask if I had any questions. I think that shows a high level of respect and care from an artist. They are an amazing group of people who run a clean, friendly and fun shop. They all have unique specialties and a dedication to their craft. They work together to ensure the right artist is doing your piece. I’ve spent roughly 36 hours in this shop and I’ve seen nothing but top-notch consultation and tattoo work while there. Fantastic experience: My friend and I got spontaneous matching tattoos and we called on a Friday afternoon and Eddie got us right in same day! We emailed a photo taken of a flower we wanted and Eddie was able to make the perfect design and customize the flowers to two different color schemes for each of us! Eddie is such a sweet warm friendly welcoming person! Shop is easy to get to and park at, clean, they supply masks that they require for you to wear. Price was a little higher than expected.

Fantastic experience: Scotty from Double Deuce Tattoo was easy to schedule and work with. I wanted my nose pierced and emailed via the website. He returned my email quickly and answered my questions and set up an appt. Scotty put me at ease with his friendly manner. The nose piercing had very little pain and Scotty guided me the whole way. He let me know if I needed any assistance during healing, he would help me. When 6 hours later I pulled the stud most of the way out - oops, ouch-, I immediately remembered he could get it back in for me. What a comfort, even though I didn’t need help this time. Fantastic experience: Absolutely perfect! The shop is spotless and sanity is stellar. I got a very simple design, but it was done with expert technique and I enjoyed myself. From the second I contacted him he was more than accommodating and told me what he could do for me. Been going for years! Before covid I'd often just pop in and say hi during the breaks. Just spent 8 hours (6 of which work was being done) and it felt like a lot less! Worth the time and money!! Fantastic experience: I have gone here twice now and this place is great. Scotty the owner is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. He explained everything that was going to happen before and after getting my tattoos. He keeps the shop clean and made sure to open anything he was going to use in front of me. He did an awesome job both times. UPDATE: (November 2023) I have gone back a third time (technically 4 times) to finish my lower sleeve and add more to the roses. As always Scotty was very friendly and the shop was clean. Honestly you wouldn't know anyone had been in the shop before I got there. If your looking for friendly service, a clean place and dad jokes (from Scotty) this is the place to go. He did an awesome job on all my tattoo's and can't wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: I had a tattoo done elsewhere and lots of the ink came out leaving me with splotchy skin peaking through my entire tattoo. My husband highly recommended Mike and Mike agreed to fix my tattoo. Found Scotty on Instagram and loved some of his past work, so I scheduled an appointment to start an arm sleeve. Definitely made the right decision!! Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Kip for about 5 years now and he has been nothing except for superb. I recently went in for a Phoenix hand tattoo and I was a little nervous being turned away by other artists in fear the tattoo was too challenging, I asked Kip and he didn’t shy away at all and it came out exactly what I was picturing in my mind. No stencil change or anything he took what I said and envisioned exactly what I was picturing in my head. These guys are great here at Double Deuce Tattoo. Great environment and great people and they always make you feel safe. I highly recommend!!!
