Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend Warlocks!!!!! This is my second tattoo from here with a different artist and still very satisfied with the work done, and all of the friendly staff! They really make you feel comfortable and listen to what YOU want!!! Had Ernie today and he was great! My husband got Byron and he was phenomenal!!!!!! Overall just an amazing atmosphere

Positive experience: Really more of a 4.5! Got my nipples pierced by Taryn and had a great experience overall. Super clean and professional and they were able to take me last minute. The whole studio was really quiet so I do wish they played some music to ease the vibe. It is a bit pricey but understandable. I am still healing and everything has been smooth so far and all my questions were answered. Expect some pain of course!

Fantastic experience: We came into town from SC for a concert here and I decided to get a tattoo. Originally I was going to go with a tattoo shop here that I actually found out, is a franchise and was charging me $200 more than what I was quoted here. Aaron did my tattoo and he was amazing. Immaculate vibes, holds a great conversation, and the shop was clean. Everyone was so friendly there. Originally, he had stenciled it in red, but I just loved the look so much, I decided to get it in red. He killed it. I am so happy with this piece. I first came in on my birthday last year for a special piece on my right forearm to honor my oldest son's fight against pediatric cancer. Bill created a beautiful dragonfly carrying the awareness ribbon, and it was everything I hoped for. Our consultation was thoughtful and unrushed, and on placement day he checked every detail to make sure it matched my vision. I returned recently to add three new pieces on the same forearm to honor my other children. From consult to completion, Bill was kind, collaborative, and so easy to talk to. He walked me through design options, color choices, and flow so the new work complemented my original tattoo. During the session he checked in often to keep me comfortable, and the results are stunning. The watercolor style is vibrant and delicate, and his line work is top notch. Special shoutout to Amanda and Deborah for being consistently friendly, professional, and on top of everything, both in person and by email. The shop is spotless, the location is convenient, and pricing is exceptionally reasonable for the quality of work. I am so grateful to Bill for bringing my ideas to life in a way that makes me proud to wear and share. My kids love their pieces on my arm, and I do, too. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Warlocks. My best friend came down to visit me from PA and we decided to get tattoos together. Warlocks was super accommodating and scheduled our appointments so that we could watch each other's tattoos being done. Bill was my tattoo artist and he did a PHENOMENAL job. The place was extremely clean and everyone there was very professional. The prices are also extremely reasonable. I will only be going to Warlocks from now on for my future tattoos. The tattoo ended up costing less than the estimate. I will be going back. Also, everybody else that I dealt with who worked there was both knowledgeable and nice!

Negative experience: The owner cares more about money than the people they are tattooing. I’ve been a customer for over a decade and spend thousands of dollars and they never bothered to learn my name until a major mistake was made. Although i was willing to own my side of it the manager insisted they had no wrong doing. When the owner got involved he refused to accept any accountability for the miscommunication between the shop and artist. He even wanted to charge me more to fix it. He refused a refund of a gift card because I was unhappy. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: This was my first ever tattoo experience. My artist was Byron. He and Deborah made the whole experience so easy and effortless. Byron took special consideration of the fact that this was my first tattoo his work was excellent and he was very jovial and genial. It was a very positive experience overall. I highly recommend Warlock for your tattoo needs.

Fantastic experience: Ashlei Moss is THE BEST! I spent a few months researching all the tattoo artists in the Raleigh/Durham area with a focus on artists that did realism. When I found Ashlei's portfolio, I knew I wanted to talk to her. During the consultation, she set expectations very well about how long the piece was going to take, and how to be comfortable during the day-long sessions we would need. During the actual tattoo (and even the stenciling), you could tell what a perfectionist she is, and that's exactly what you want in a tattoo artist. I am absolutely thrilled with the piece I got. I'm so glad she's local and I'm already thinking about the next piece I would love to have her do. If you have any big realism projects in mind, I highly recommend you reach out to her. Fantastic experience: There's a reason so many people know Warlock's and that's because they're AMAZING! All the staff from the front desk to the artists are so friendly and knowledgeable. Very professional and clean. They respond within 24 hrs when you submit an inquiry for a tattoo on there website. Very comfortable environment which makes all the difference when you're getting tattooed for 3+ hrs. I've had 2 tattoos done by Aaron and I couldn't be happier. Very soon I'll be going back to complete my half sleeve. I can't recommend Warlock's enough!

Fantastic experience: Aaron is an extremely talented artist. He’s been kind enough to tattoo our entire family, and we drive from all over NC to see him for our tattoos. He’s so kind and always professional but personable. He’s honest about what he thinks will look best and his work is amazing!

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. I called to get my tattoo removed 20 minutes after I left this shop. Not a single person I’ve shown this to can believe this work is actually acceptable. There’s no symmetry to the work, the lines that were gone over aren’t even in line with each other, I’m honestly embarrassed to walk around with it on my body. 0/10 recommend this place.

Positive experience: The three stars are for my friend who has nothing but positive things to say about y'all. When I was visiting Raleigh I asked about getting a tattoo, and she drove us straight to Warlock's. I was hoping to be in and out quickly, as I only wanted my friend's initials tattooed on the inside of my finger. When we arrived at 4:00pm on Saturday March 23, the person at the front desk told me the shop wasn't comfortable doing hand tattoos. I know a lot of shops have rules about no hand or face tattoos as first tattoos. However, not only do I have tattoos on both my hands, but I have a set of initials like the one I was hoping to get on the other side of the same finger. Nonetheless, apparently it wasn't something the shop wanted to do because "those tattoos don't heal well." Again, I can see the logic in that as a rule. So imagine my surprise when I was looking at tattoos online and stumbled upon multiple hand tattoos done at none other than Warlock's! One was even just the letter K going across the top of the person's hand.

Fantastic experience: HANDS DOWN OUR FAVORITE TATTOO SPOT!!! My little family will not go anywhere else... these people are like family to us! I have gotten 6 tattoos in 9 visits since August of 2022 by multiple artists there, and I love every single one of them(my tattoos and the artists). Revised: Now it is 7 tattoos in 10 visits!!! My beautiful birdies and first colored pieces.

Fantastic experience: Bill did a great job with me and my partners tattoos. They both were pretty simple, but mine included some cherries. Bill suggested a way to do the coloring which turned out perfect. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great people and great work. My most recent work was with Chubbs and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. You do have to schedule in advance for him as he is usually booked up, but he's 100% worth. He is a master tattoo guy. I've had work there by Byron as well, and again, the work was and is 100% awesome. I highly recommend this place and look forward to getting more work done there.

Fantastic experience: This is a really nice shop - it is set up beautifully with separate rooms for each artist so you have privacy and feel safe. Very clean, very well organized, and great communication. Our artist was Tory, and our experience couldn't have been better. On the fly, he took our poor explanation of the idea and created exactly what we wanted. Tory is also the most gentle, light-handed artist I have ever been to.

I did a lot of research before getting my first tattoo and couldn’t have been happier with choosing Warlocks… I have nothing but great things to say. I worked with Ashlei and hands down is the most dedicated artist to her work. She takes her time to make sure her work is something she would wear herself. The amount of detail she puts into it and also the time is unmatched. I’m currently working on my half sleeve with her which was my first and she was amazing at explaining the process and what all would be involved in the aftercare. I highly recommend her for any work you’re looking to have done.

He also created two new tattoos which really captured what I wanted to express! I had my first tattoo done at Warlocks, then a couple more elsewhere, which were made perfect by Byron. Fantastic experience: I've been wanting a tattoo like this for years and was finally ready. I've lived here a while and Warlocks is well known in the area so I gave them a call and Deborah was super helpful at getting me a consult with Bryan. Within a day or so I'd showed him a bunch of random ideas I had and within a day of that, he'd drawn up a beautiful image incorporating all of my ideas exactly how I'd pictured it and set up the appointment. He was friendly and funny and did an excellent job, even offered a free touch-up after a little fading during healing. Definitely recommend Bryan and Warlocks, everyone I met was nice, helpful, and professional.

Fantastic experience: Only place you should even consider to get a custom tattoo. Aaron is absolutely amazing, easy to communicate ideas to and continually asks for your opinion. Negative experience: for as much as bryan was hyping himself up i was expecting much more of a finished or clean tattoo. this was my first tattoo and i asked for the master sword from legend of zelda. he showed me his sketch he came up with and i loved it. came in for my appointment and all was going well but when i looked down at the finished product, the sword was half finished/shaded. the lines were sloppy. and 2 days later i only had bruising on the unfinished blade… each artist i went to about this swore it was purple ink cause of the placement of the “bruising”… would not recommend and the new artist i went to today to fix bryans mistake did a fantastic job. everything was done how it should have been the first time. the photo i added is the unfinished product.

Fantastic experience: Me and my wife went on 7/10/21 to get couple tattoos. We were scheduled with Bryan to be our artist. I tell you folks this man is simple Awesome, this is the only way to describe him, his work and personality. He will be my artist I call on for now on. Great job Bryan we love our tattoos!!

Positive experience: Environment is clean and friendly. I've had a few piercings and one tattoo (from Julio) done here with no problems. Only giving 3 stars instead of 5 because they recently shut down the piercing side, which was my favorite part, and hours posted are inaccurate. My wife has had 2 tattoos from Julio that are well done and she loves them. Call beforehand!! If your just show up, you are likely to not be fit in that day.

Fantastic experience: First off, the place is super clean and everyone is friendly and humorous! I got a tattoo from Julio and he always let me know what he was doing, it was very quick, the price was definitely reasonable and the tattoo was executed perfectly. My aunt and cousin went after me and we all have nothing but good things to say about Julio and the shop as a whole.

The tattoo he did for me 5 years ago has lasted and still looks really good. Just went there a few weeks ago to get my thigh piece and it was just as clean and professional as I recall.

Fantastic experience: Warlocks always has friendly staff as well as up to date knowledge on piercings. I have had all but 1 of my tattoos there. They are extremely helpful and go the extra mile for their customer's. Their work areas are always clean and sanitized before starting any tattoo or piercing.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to Warlock tattoo a couple of times, my most recent experience with Byron was my best since I wanted to get a vine tattoo that I had on my hand from two years ago improved and he did that by adding on to the vine freehand without a stencil and it came out amazing!! Definitely recommend him as an artist !!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I’ve been three separate times and worked with two different artists on some tattoos. My first one needed a small touch up that they did at no charge and my others have been great! Ernie is very talented and is dedicated to doing it right. He changed some parts of my last ones to make it look better and I’m so glad I trusted his art as it looks amazing. Ashlei is very kind and also pays close attention to detail. Prices are done by hour and are fair for the work they put out. My lifetime pieces are clean and clear and I didn’t mind the prices as they are competitive with other shops and are fair for the quality. Great shops for first-timers as well as returners.

Negative experience: I have been going to Warlocks for years and I'm typically not one to complain, but this latest trip confirms I will NEVER return and I hope you guys don't spend your time or money there either. I will spare you the whole story because that would take too long to write. Let's just say my tattoo is horribly done (it's only text and a kid could have written the text better), the management of this place is absolutely horrible, and I felt incredibly uncomfortable with Bryan, the owner of the place. They tried to charge me without considering my deposit, they stuck me with an "artist" that I didn't have the consultation with, and they didn't even have the right artwork prepared for my appointment. They made me sign the liability waiver before I even got to see the tattoo design. Cannot wait to get a touchup and I certainly won't be going here. This was one of the worst appointments I have ever had. EDIT: I would also like to add they asked me to ask my friend to give me $50 instead of them just giving me back my $50 security deposit. Bad business!

Fantastic experience: The owner of this shop is amazing!!! He made us feel so comfortable and happy! He did amazing work on our tattoos,we well be going back for all of our tattoo needs. Update: No surprise Still amazing first time with someone other then Byron but luckily his brother Bryan is outstanding also!! I am so happy I found these guys already booked another appointment with them!

Fantastic experience: Anthony did my nose piercing and when I say the entire experience was just DOPE! He made his recommendations based on the shape of nose and the color of my jewelry based on my complexion. Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to be pierced by Anthony today, and it was the best experience ever. Very, very professional, and knows his stuff. He had to spend a little extra time with me so that we could make the piercing work, as well as look great. He was so awesome. Already planning my next piercing with him.
