Fantastic experience: I would give this place a million stars if I could! My best friend and I got flash tattoos from Katt who was so sweet, so attentive, and made our visit so special! The studio was very clean and so well designed. Unlike any tattoo studio I’ve ever been to! I will be back for more tattoos in the future! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am a breast cancer survivor and had bilateral mastectomies several years ago. I heard about Inkvictus from a friend and I decided to get areola tattoos. Natasha was so kind and compassionate with me. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. She did an absolutely fabulous job! I had accepted that my boobs would never look “normal “ again. I didn’t realize my suppressed sadness until I saw those beautiful tats on me - I felt almost whole again! Natasha you are an amazing artist and an even more amazing giver of hope and wholeness. Thank you with all my heart!

Fantastic experience: After a hellish piercing experience at another shop, my daughter and I decided to go to Inkvictus—and I’m so glad we did. NeNe was amazing! She took her time with my daughter and made sure the piercings were perfectly even, both on each individual ear and when looking at them straight on. Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Wawa for a while now, and let's just say it gets better with each visit. Not only her, but the entire staff is nice and friendly. They have made the space so cozy that it seems like home. I've just had lashes, a facial, and a piercing, but I'm excited to try all Inkvictus has to offer.

Negative experience: Online they say they accept walk ins for the flash tattoos wed-sat 11am-6pm, me and my friend drove 2 hours for the flash tattoos and ended up getting there at 5pm, we walk in and get sent right back out the door, the man we spoke to said that they stopped doing the flash tattoos at 5pm due to their staff having meetings 5pm-6pm, I drove 2 hours for NOTHING, ended up going to a different tattoo shop down the street and got a HORRIBLE tattoo, that’s okay whatever but my only question is WHY WOULD YOU SAY 11am-6pm WHENS ITS REALLY 11am-5pm?? I am beyond angry and I will never be coming back due to false advertisement.

Negative experience: Very friendly atmosphere, very professional. But I’m sick of piercers in Raleigh piercing adjacent sides unevenly. I got my 4th earlobes pierced here jan 7th. (I accidentally posted my review on the wrong company page last week but this is the correct place of business).. With my ear shape it’s hard to tell when looking directly into the mirror provided because i have meaty lobes. but after taking pics of both sides… one ear, the piercing is closer and higher up to my 3rd lobe piercing than the other. For $90 I’d expect perfection and a better hand & eye. Won’t be back

Fantastic experience: Went in for a jewelry swap as a walk-in. Nene is a vibe! She provided in-depth explanations and tips for various piercing aftercare. There are placards in her studio that she highly recommends you snap a pic of on your way out. If something doesn't work for you aftercare wise, Nene is quick to supply alternatives. Would highly recommend dropping by here for any service or questions!

Fantastic experience: I got my labret done by Nene and she's amazing!! Vibe is super great and welcoming, everyone there was so nice!! Nene was very kind and she clearly knew a lot about piercing, I felt very safe and comfortable in her hands lol I will definitely be coming back for all my future piercing endeavors!! Tysm!!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo here about a week ago -- a cute little dragonfly! The quoted price was extremely fair for the quality of the tattoo and service. The staff are all friendly, funny and welcoming. The Tattoo Artist Elena took her time and made sure that we were comfortable while doing the work. They have snacks , drinks, tv and puzzles to keep you occupied while waiting for your turn. I will be returning

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful building inside and out! The flowers and expression the inside gave was welcoming. Front desk was great, quick and very helpful as well. It was a busy day, so wait was an hour or two maybe but my artist was amazing , as well as the staff !! I paid a great price for 2 tattoos, so Definitely check them out you won’t be disappointed !!

Fantastic experience: Came to get matching tattoos with my best friend from their flash tattoo. Mentioned how one of my previous tattoos done by someone else bothered me a bit because the work was just done so fast. Tattoo still looked cute but in other words it’s an umbrella and the top stem instead of it being pointed it was more round like a nipple. Natasha stepped in and fixed my nipple into a tip made me the happiest person ever and my frog done by her was the absolute best! Definitely will be coming again and again and again

Fantastic experience: I got a pay what you can tattoo yesterday from Natascha, the shop owner. From the minute I walked through the doors, I felt so safe and welcomed. Every staff member and the other customers were so kind and it felt like home, hanging out with a bunch of friends. Their studio has so much to offer and explore, including dvds you can watch, games you can play, etc. The entire vibe was incredible. It’s hard to find a place online that matches exactly what you are looking for. I had an amazing experience and cannot wait to go back! I cannot recommend this shop enough and HIGHLY encourage anyone and everyone to check them out!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been researching getting my brows permanently done for a long, long time. I knew Inkvictus was the right place, not only because of how clean they are, but because they went as far as requiring a doctors note because I am diabetic. Some people might find this off putting but I appreciate it. They truly care about you and how you heal. Sky did my brows, and she not only did an AH-MAZING job, she really put me at ease. I was a tad nervous (even though I have multiple tattoos—come on, this is my FACE!!), and she really helped me relax. She’s so kind and was really just as excited for me as I was for myself! She’s a true artist!! Go see SKY!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience getting nano eyebrows done with Skye! She was very kind and put me at ease as I was a little nervous going in. She answered all my questions before we got started and explained to me everything that she was doing. I am very pleased with the result of my semi-permanent natural looking eyebrows! Fantastic experience: I just visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I got my tragus and helix pierced and had a terrific experience. Taryn made me so comfortable and is so knowledgeable. I came back this past week and had her change out my nose stud from a corkscrew to a flat back. Inserting a flat back in my nose makes me super nervous but Taryn's confidence put me at ease. My 20 year old daughter came with me and she will be a repeat customer for sure. In fact I think she's coming back this week for a small tattoo. The vibe of the shop is amazing. Very fun and inclusive. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I found Inkvictus last fall during their pay what you can event for the ACLU and I have to say I’ve been in love ever since. It’s clear how much they care about every interaction as one based on respect and compassion- not to mention high-quality, talented work! What started as a flashie tattoo has grown into multiple piercings, beautiful flowers, and I even brought my 8 yo daughter in to get her ears pierced recently and Taryn was amazing with her. I honestly just can’t say enough wonderful things about everyone and everything there. They’ve earned a customer for life!

Fantastic experience: Kathy did my lambchop tattoo during an event to raise money for a great cause! Lambchop is perfect, and Kathy is an amazing artist. I love Inkvictus and I cannot wait to see how they grow as company. I will be buying flowers soon, for sure.

Negative experience: I was so excited to get the ACLU and prism flash tattoos with Inkvictus. I wanted to support a good cause and the studio seemed to be really great and inclusive plus I liked their stance on pushing for tattoo artists to be trained and licensed. My tattoos were done by Bre (who I’ve seen no longer works there) and are super poor quality. I had pointed out that the center of the sun wasn’t actually centered and she assured me it would be. There are parts that are super dark and others where the lines aren’t even connected. I wish I had picked a place where I could easily hide the tattoos but they are right on my forearm and it’s embarrassing how poor the quality is. The studio clearly doesn’t require their artists to be trained professionals and the more I see about them, the more I wish I’d never gotten my tattoos there. Do your research before going here. I never plan on going back.

Negative experience: If I could leave a review less than one star I would. Charging and not issuing a refund for a service that can *never* be rendered is unethical and unprofessional. It is very clear that this studio has no idea how to run a business, and that they spent deposits before performing the services. I would caution anyone from engaging with this company in any capacity. ++++ I happily paid a deposit for a tattoo done by a specific artist with this studio, as I have with previous studios and artists for prior tattoos. When that artist left, this studio broadcast a response to her clients that they would issue a refund on those deposits or transfer the deposit to a new service. I wasn't interested in any of their other offered services, and the other tattoo artists are inexperienced and not my preferred style for art that will reside permanently on my body. I asked for a refund. The studio promised it would be refunded ASAP, but 2 weeks passed and no refund was issued. When asked about an expected timeline, I was told they were aiming for May 1, which is totally reasonable. Unfortunately 5/1 came and went, and when I asked again for my money to be returned, I was thanked for my patience but they were still not able to issue that refund. When I expressed that frustration, and shared that my patience had run out, and yes shared that I would be filing a fraudulent charge claim with my credit card company and with the police - I was then told that my refund wouldn't be issued at all because they were only doing it as a courtesy anyway and that I was rude. Then linked me to a refund policy that has been modified from the one I agreed to initially, where no "artist specificity clause" was mentioned. It's like when I ask my kid to do something 5 times, and the first 4 times I respond politely but the final time I raised my voice. My first four emails were polite, generous, understanding. That politeness was met with canned responses and false promises from a business who clearly mishandled their money. We aren't talking about a lash lift, or some cosmetic or temporary service. I didn't pay money for a bouquet of flowers and then change my mind. I paid a deposit for a tattoo, and for a specific artist to put a permanent piece of art on my body. When this artist moved studios, and she wasn't provided the opportunity to access and refund deposits for her clients and now we are being left to foot the bill.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Inkvictus. I got my first tattoo done by Natascha. She made the whole experience really easy and the design she created was perfect. It combined all the inspiration pictures that i sent exactly the way i imagined. The actual tattoo process was very easy and she explained all the steps along the way! I definitely recommend inkvictus to anyone wanting a tattoo!

Fantastic experience: Taryn pierced my nostril. She did an incredible job and made the experience fun and calming. The shop was immaculate, inviting, and gorgeous. I will absolutely be going back to get any future tattoos or piercings! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I received one of the PWYC mini flash tattoos supporting the ACLU and I was very excited to have this done. I also loved that it was supporting a good cause considering the political climate we now live in. I had it done in December and originally loved it, but one side started to fade quickly. They offer complimentary touch ups and I had my original appt scheduled in February, but then the snow storm hit and my appt was canceled, which was understandable. I tried to reach Bre through text message, as that is how she canceled my appt and it took her 1-2 days to respond each time. By the time I would respond for a time and date I prefer, she'd tell me it was already taken. Fast forward to yesterday, I had my rescheduled appt then around 1:30 pm, they called and texted me around 9:30 am to let me know that Bre no longer works there and canceled my appt. I received a text 15 mins later saying that I could call that number any time and they can reschedule me with the owner. I called that number and no one answered and didn't receive a call back. Just a frustrating scheduling experience overall.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend Taryn for piercings! My friend and I were such a mess lol! We were equally excited as we were chicken and all over the place. Taryn was patient, professional, gentle and precise! She mapped out our ears, made sure we agreed on placements and calmly talked us through the steps. She was really nervous, but Taryn was kind, patient, extremely emotionally intelligent and put her immediately at ease. (I also got second piercings in my earlobes.) Taryn thoroughly explained every step of the piercing process, and gave great instructions before, during, and for aftercare. The studio is pristine and our daughter especially loved the wall of affirmations and quotations. And the flowers outside around the studio sign! By the time we got out to the parking lot after our piercings, our daughter said “I can’t even feel it anymore!” Cannot recommend Inkvictus highly enough for adults and kids alike! Fantastic experience: I went for the first time to get a tattoo. I was a little nervous but Natasha and her team made me very comfortable. She explained the process and after care. I love my tattoo. I then went for an ear piercing done by Taryn and I love the result. I was hesitant about 2 locations in the ear and after a little talk we agreed on the best location. The piercing is healing fine (almost 2 weeks in) and I love it. I definitely recommend this facility and the ladies that work there. I will definitely go back!!

The studio staff I encountered during my check in/out were also pleasant, even following up after my appt to make sure I had a great experience and to see if I had any constructive feedback. Mary Hannah was open to answering questions and addressing concerns. She always made sure I was comfortable and was willing to brainstorm proper aftercare for me and my body. She was open to feedback and appreciated honesty. I would highly recommend her for waxing services.

Negative experience: I recently visited your studio for a lash lift and tint service and wanted to share my experience. While I was excited to try this service here, I unfortunately left feeling disappointed. There was hardly any noticeable lift to my lashes, and even the lash tech mentioned that next time we could leave the solution on longer, which suggests the service didn’t go as planned. I appreciated that you reached out right after the service to gather feedback, which I did provide, explaining my dissatisfaction in a very polite manner. However, despite your studio’s emphasis on client’s comfort and experience, I haven’t received any follow-up since. This leads me to feel that my feedback was overlooked, which is disappointing. I hope this feedback can be helpful for improving future services, and I would have appreciated more proactive communication to address my concerns. The only reason I gave two stars is because the space was clean and the lash tech was extremely polite and sweet. However, I spent $90 plus tip and unfortunately walked out with little to no lift—just tinted lashes. The pictures speak for themselves

Fantastic experience: Amazing workers, amazing environment, amazing customer service! My story is a little strange. I haven’t gotten any service done at inkvictus yet but they have secured my business. I was paranoid about a piercing I got and I was 5 hours from my piercer. I found inkvictus and went to put my mind at ease. Natascha was so nice and helpful even though I wasn’t their client. I left feeling 10x better and will be going back for all my future piercings and tattoos!!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Inkvictus for over two years now. Natascha has done my powder brows twice as well as a lash line enhancement and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She is trustworthy, honest, and transparent about how the whole process will go. Any nerves I had about the tattooing experience disappeared! Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with the lovely Mary Hannah!! I got eyelash extensions!! I trusted in letting her choose which style was best for my face and she did not disappoint!! I fell asleep a couple of times haha. The place is nice and the atmosphere is so welcoming, everyone greets you as you walk in which I loved!!! Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional staff. Owner and artist Natascha sat with me up discuss wishes, color, and shadow. When I didn't quite like my shape, she gave me a detailed mapping lesson and spent over 2 hours to refine the shape of my liking. Very impressed and is good at what she does. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I recently had lip blushing with Natascha and while the end result was lovely and natural, I am most impressed with the quality of service and care put forth during my two sessions. She was friendly in the way you’d expect most customer facing artists to be, but she goes beyond. You never feel rushed or pressured. There is plenty of time to discuss expectations, ask questions, and frankly, just chat. She is genuinely interested in how her small contribution can make her clients even fractionally happier than when they first walked through her doors. Her focus is on enhancing the beauty that already exists and the time she takes to invest in that goal (the actual blushing part taking minimal time comparatively) shows in her genuine and honest approach to her craft and sincere interest in the people who put their trust in her.

Fantastic experience: I kept putting off getting my brows done for a really long time but I met with Natascha and she walked me through everything and made me feel so comfortable and I trusted her with my brows. I had powder brows done and they look amazing and so natural which is exactly what I wanted. My healing process was very easy and I had no issues. The darkness, color, and shape of my brows look amazing!!

Her professionalism and knowledge was far past anything that I could have expected. She treated me like she had known me forever and put me right at ease. Fantastic experience: If you are someone who could use about 1 hour of time to lie down with your eyes closed (and, bonus, magically leave at the end with nicer eyelashes), Inkvictus is the place. I've done lash lift + tint with Leah a few times now, and it is always a great experience. Their studio is welcoming, relaxing, and pleasant. Leah is highly skilled and very gentle. A lift + tint is a great, low maintenance way to enhance your natural lashes and be able to save time on (or skip!) your makeup routine.

I went to her for a consult after having a less than great experience the first time getting powder brows done at a different shop.
